3321  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trading sites? on: March 01, 2021, 05:50:02 PM
Was going to recommend an exchange until I read to point you said you’re in the US, most exchanges don’t work in the US. So, I guess the best option you have now is Coinbase , but you wouldn’t be able to trade Dogecoin there, just some other altcoins.

Maybe you will have to look into decentralized exchanges or P2P to be able to trade those particular altcoins, that’s if you really understand how these exchanges works, because they can be really hard to understand when you get on their at first, telling you from experience, because they don’t look like the normal centralized exchanges, just like Coinbase, which are easy to access. You can still research, and I think Kraken will have that, though I haven’t used it, so can’t be 100% sure.
3322  Economy / Economics / Re: Global debt soars to 356% of GDP on: March 01, 2021, 04:46:07 PM
Hmmm, just saw someone’s comment that covid19 is a good thing because it caused the developed countries to be borrowing money. Seriously? I don’t see anything good about that, because if there is a situation that will cause the developed countries to be borrowing money, what about the developing countries?

These ones are likely to borrow ten times (10×) of what developed countries will borrow, and the worst part of it all is that they are still not going to achieve anything with it because their corrupt leaders will end up squandering the borrowed loans. I am not in support of that man.
3323  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much lower you think BTC can go in this drop ? on: March 01, 2021, 01:48:41 PM
My estimate is that the price could drop into low 20k levels, like 22-24k level, that seems like a reasonable price to drop if it bottoms out. This could be something like a correction and doesn't reach 40k and then increase to 100k+ that would be great but that is of course if this is not a drop and it would be an increase instead, this is why I believe it should be something similar like what happened a month ago, BUT even if that is not the case and it drops to insanely low levels that would mean that we will definitely reach to low 20k levels as a bottom and it will not go down anymore.

The last time the bottom was at around 4k or so a bit more under that price but that was the bottom, we didn't see under 3k ever again after the 20k level was seen, this time it was about 60k or so and when it drops it will not be going towards under 20k for sure.
3324  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of CRYPTO GAMBLING & BETTING SITES with bonus&promo codes! Site And App ⭐⭐⭐ on: February 28, 2021, 07:43:48 PM
What new features can we add? what you want to see ?
Since you have asked, I visited the site and I will advise some changes.

1- Reduce ads on the landing page because it feels very flashy and low quality website to land and get greeted with ads all over.
2- I love playing at roobet myself, don't get me wrong but your website should have your own background instead of having the background of a casino.

I like the explanation of the house edge as a new player can easily understand, just the layout of the website needs some tweaking and maybe reduce ads like I said.
3325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 28, 2021, 06:59:24 PM
Sounds stupid but from a neutral's perspective I actually think they are doing it for the betterment of people because kids are watching these matches and get to know about how gambling works and might even get into gambling at an age when they should not. West Ham for example have the big front logo of Betway I remember and I have seen fun88 or something like that on a team's jersey on the front.

It would be a big loss as mentioned in the article that there could be a 110 million Euro loss for the top teams. If the government is going to impose ban on these sponsorship then they better be ready to provide some other benefits otherwise its just net loss for the teams and owners. I am not sure if there are other sponsors in line which has given the confidence to the government to take such steps but otherwise a very bizarre and sort of unwanted move.
3326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Musk Again & Again Tweet for Doge? on: February 28, 2021, 03:25:11 PM
Elon Musk is now getting attention from SEC for his twitts regarding Dogecoin. He is being investigated for manipulating the crypto market. Though it is much different than making rise and fall of Tesla's shareprice as it doesn't directly effect anyone, using one's position to manipulate the market for whatever reason could not be called a good move.
If it is actually happening, I respect SEC because being such a famous and rich guy there are certain responsibilities you carry when you make tweets and one should not just pump the market using his influence unless there is some solidity behind those comments. I am really curious what answer he has to specifically promote "dogecoin" only.

I never followed him too closely but his image in my mind was a hard working and very public kind of guy who is working for mankind but it seems like he has some shady tools in his arsenal too.

Oh man all these rich guys are so dumb, earlier he made Jack Ma look like an idiot when they both met and the video is here if you want to check, now he himself turns out to be a fool.
3327  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best crypto casino right now according to the community on: February 28, 2021, 02:45:49 PM
It is hard to rank some of the websites because almost all of them are better than the other in some regard, but I will try and make a list.

1- Stake.com because of their promotions and support
2- Sportsbet.io for their free bets from time to time and some really interesting promotions, also the sponsors they have now make them a lot more trusted than others.
3- Bitsler for casino mainly and I love their layout for dice, boom and recently added Keno.

I won't rate other sites not because they are bad but because I cannot judge them since I haven't played much on them recently and should not comment.
3328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australian Open 2021 Discussion thread on: February 28, 2021, 10:31:05 AM
Australian Open is to Djokovic like Wimbledon is to Federer or French Open is to Nadal. Suites Djokovic's playing style.
But he never gets the support from crowd despite being the best player of the tournament, I remember how fans were cheering when he was injured against Taylor Fritz and he was able to overcome the injury and win that match because the crowd was asked to leave around the start of the 3rd set. I don't know why people hate Novak so much because he gives his 100% against any opponent and one thing you can associate with Novak is consistency. I don't remember when last time Novak was out of a tournament early.

The ball comes to the racquet consistently and isnt as fast or windy as hard courts at US Open. He can defend for days and counter attack when necessary. Djokovic's serving seemed to have improved as well, along with his fitness and form, coming into the final stages of the tournament.
I thought he will lose against Milos but he did well to win in 4 sets and by the time final arrived he looked like he never had any injury. I remember when Nadal was asked about it he said if you have an injury you just cannot win but Novak did it.
3329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 28, 2021, 08:02:11 AM
I'd like to think my sports knowledge increases my ability to gauge a winner, but you never know I guess.  It's possible that casual betters know just enough to get them in trouble.  I think doing research on the event is probably more important than knowing your stuff.  Who is out, who got hurt during practice, who is going through a tough time personally, etc...  These are all things that are probably more important to a bet then knowing a large amount of information about the sport.
I used to think the same, that betting on a game where I have done my analysis will help but the final of the super bowl proved me wrong as there was no way Tampa Bay Buccaneers should have won but they didn't just won but they did so in a dominating manner. It is funny how sometimes we forget experience can overcome any skillset in games like finals and Tom Brady proved it the day it mattered the most.

That is a Big factor to win but it is not an assurance , you can at least study and must have knowledge of the opponent also because the game does not compose of your team but the team they will go against also.
There are gamblers that is fanatic on the team that they are betting because they love the team no matter if won or lose.
Those gamblers who bet on their teams despite them weaker or knowing they shouldn't win are gamblers who are betting for fun and in essence that's how gambling should be done. Doing too much analysis and comparison between teams only mean we are taking gambling too seriously and although it helps I think, but too much comparison sometimes complicate things and you mostly bet on favorites as a result.
3330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sponsor Money from Casino, Is bad or Good? on: February 28, 2021, 06:54:16 AM
The problem is that you cannot conduct a full study of the legality of the casino business - they are mostly registered in offshore companies and you can assess the legality of their activities only by the comments of their users (are there any problems or not). But even user reviews cannot be trusted as they can be fake.
Yes, if you make an account personally they can just let you withdraw, play and deposit normally but do selective scams. Only way to avoid this is by promoting well known and already reputed casinos so that you don't have to worry about the trustworthiness.

I don't see anything wrong on it, in fact Vloggers content creator and even this forum needs sponsors to keep up with he cost, it's not easy running a channel, creating a content, there should be a financial motivation behind it, nothing is free now, because you cannot keep up giving something for free, you need sponsors whether in kind or cash.
It is a very sensitive topic actually because one mistake from the streamer might mean that he loses his subscribers and even his followers on all social media handle within days of promoting a scam gambling site even if by chance and not by choice.

When you promote something directly and at times even indirectly, you have to take the responsibility and make sure that the people influenced by your content don't get to face any problems. Its similar to why some big actors or actress will never promote a new and untested product.
3331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment on: February 28, 2021, 05:39:49 AM
If you are planning for a long-term investment you can buy Bitcoin at its current price. But if you are intending a short term investment, can wait for the price of Bitcoin to fall even further, if Bitcoin drops below $ 40k it is a very good time to buy Bitcoin for short term investments. Then I agreed to use investment capital by buying Bitcoin with a larger percentage, because Bitcoin is the safest for investment. Then the remaining capital that is owned can buy some altcoins. If your capital is large, don't keep your Bitcoin on Coinbase, because it is very vulnerable to being hacked. It should be stored in a hardware wallet which is much safer.
Completely agree with that and any investors looking to buy and store bitcoins for long term should not be too bothered by the small fluctuations and shouldn't wait for a correction to happen because it might not happen and the price could reach even higher by time you plan to buy.

If you are a day trader though, I would say wait a little bit because the price is really high and you might not be able to get profits as quickly as you might want by selling.

(I am seeing some people are advertising their own services here (with paid subscription), I am recommending not to give any attention to such things as their initial step to promote their services is not in preferred manner.)
3332  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: February 28, 2021, 04:40:17 AM
In all seriousness, I picked a chat function because what Twitchyseal mentioned about earlier:
It would be a great asset to be able to share bets and root on for your favorite team while your friend on the chat are going against you
So the competitiveness would be there sort of like an interactive concept involved while you are waiting for your bets to complete but in a friendly kind of way. Which makes it much more fun overall.
Even offer your selections before a match starts would be super helpful from those who are the so called experts in their field and know all the stats.
Those would be the gurus of chat and maybe make a ranking system where there would be an icon besides their name once they have a certain amount of right bets or multibets in a row.
Now that would make it different from alot of the other places that offer a chat function on their sites.
Also it wouldn't be necessarily a troll box as had put it Boltz. Those are what exchanges use as a term of those people who use their chat functions on there as a pump and dump notifier.
This would be more of a community chat box where of course there would be a moderator involved so to make sure the sites rules are followed if they are to join in on the chat and get involved and interact with others on the site.

Great idea to have a poll Sportsbet.io's Steve because it is always beneficial to see what would be the best addition and who wants to see more of something on the site so to make it a better sportsbetting experience overall.
If I had the choice to pick two (I tried to select two but couldn't Wink) my second choice would be the option to be able to transfer funds between players on the site in the chat area via a tip.
But if too complicated then I will stick to my first choice in having the chat area.
That type of chat idea could be done, as in it wouldn't be technically impossible, you could literally turn this place into a "crypto gambling social media sportsbook" type of deal, everyone could have an account and your whole betting could be either open or you could hide them if you want to, and you could share your bets with their "betid" type of deals on the chat, and you could share them on social media as well basically we are talking about something that could be done.

However this is also both a lot of work and a lot of time consumed for building it, but at the same time it is very critical for others following gamblers, which means if you gamble based on what some other person gambled and lose a lot of money, that would be more upsetting than losing money yourself, which is why I think it may not be done because it would be an easy way to lose a lot of money.
3333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Another Twitte for DOGE COIN on: February 27, 2021, 06:51:00 PM
Do you think guys it will pump again to 200 Sat's or more ?

elon musk has proven what he talked about before, maybe his new tweet will prove like before. yes ,, I hope he will always support and always want to invest in digital currency.

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1361094185412100096
I don't know why he doesn't make his own crypto currency and distribute them to all the dogecoin holders which will mean that he can control the price better and doesn't have to urge people to invest either.

the bull run is not only for Dogecoin, even topmost altcoin prices are increased in the market. With a massive supply for Doge, we should wait and see how far it will survive at the current price. Most of the people who are holding Doge will wait for the next hype about the Doge coin.
Yes all the coins had a good run but none even Bitcoin had a run like dogecoin and that is because of the tesla owner going mad for the coin. If I am not wrong he even shown some mining system on his twitter right? So he is even mining dogecoins now if I am not mistaken.

I'm never going to invest big into dogecoins because once the Musk effect is over, the coin might die right away since there is absolutely no one supporting this move by Musk and there is zero development being done on dogecoin neither something new is coming, so once Musk takes back what he invested, which at some point he will, the coin will just die.
3334  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa is getting more interested in Crypto on: February 27, 2021, 01:05:22 PM
After the reception of crypto in PayPal's foundation, other Payment processors begin trusting it, I'm happy that Visa and MasterCard are of them. It's uplifting news for us all since its effect on bitcoin's market and it will consistently stay positive. I accept that bitcoin will be acknowledged worldwide in the next couple of years. All we need to do make a major trust in bitcoin and continue contributing to it
Visa is trying to make it work with binance and that could be a big deal, mastercard decided to go at it alone. With Swipe cards visa will be basically dealing with binance, so all the bulk work will be on binance to handle all the information etc etc, basically deal with the customers, and visa will only deal with binance instead, if there is any problem visa will only talk to binance and handle whatever they have to handle, which will make things simpler for them, and that way we will have cards all over the world where we can spend crypto anywhere we go while places will be taking fiat instead and that change will happen instantly thanks to the card that visa helped binance build.

Mastercard will be doing that themselves, they will allow places to accept or exchange crypto instantly using their card, basically this will create a huge mass adoption or at least a reason to hold bitcoin.
3335  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Play Smarter 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: February 27, 2021, 10:24:35 AM
So this is Stake.com newest slot? I do not recommend you to try it  Cheesy

Slots can be really unlucky, I know it very well but let me correct you, its not a slot from stake. Its a 3rd party slot being offered by spinomenal and integrated at stake. I hardly play 3rd party slots on any casino because I can't just live without verifying my bets and there is no way to verify the result of these 3rd party slots. I am not distrusting them, just my faith in verifiable games like dice, keno, etc is higher than that of 3rd party slots.

I have had some great luck in past on some of these 3rd party provider slots like Dog House but ultimately the loss is overwhelming and the RTP in case you noticed for most of these slots is around 95% which means they are usually operating at 5% house edge.

On a side note, thanks stake for the more than expected reward as a monthly bonus Kiss.
3336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk Management in trading cryptocurrencies ...?? on: February 27, 2021, 07:47:00 AM
clear objectives and how the trading strategy to be carried out must be thought of first. Many people start trading without any preparation, they enter with their fillings without doing market analysis and what strategies will be used. This kind of trade carries a lot of risk. Risk management, financial management, psychology management need attention, because it will determine the success or failure of trading. It is better to earn little by little than to force it to get a bigger profit.
You are right and setting goals is as important as making strategies, having unclear plans or having unrealistic plans are not healthy for a trader specially in crypto market where profits are unstable and so are the losses and having balance between expectations and reality is a must. One cannot expect to double their bankroll overnight and if they are trying to do so, better option is gambling for them.

I agree with OP that we shouldn't trade too big or buy too much of any coins and 3-5% is a good amount to invest and I might lower it even further if you ask me because our capital should never drop below 50% and the remaining 50% shouldn't be allocated to 10-15 coins instead a lot more and diversifying your portfolio is one of the secret to success. Don't accumulate garbage but don't let one coin convince you to buy all of it.
3337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about the few days deep on: February 27, 2021, 06:04:30 AM
Do we expect another deep soon?
No, I think the drop is enough. We need a big increase in most crypto prices to make all people think positive again about crypto future. If the drops continue till the next month, I doubt the market is getting worse and the price of Bitcoin drops more. This will lead to more severe decline in all crypto coins as a whole.
We don't have to make others believe in bitcoin because as we do it, we are trying to sell something to someone which we don't ourselves believe in. Are we interested and looking to invest in the market? If the answer is yes then only we should even try to convince others.

The market is so strong with the big investors diving in, that even if we don't spread positivity about bitcoins still there will be a decent old in the market. the mentality to promote bitcoins should change because the market is massive and maybe 5 years ago it was a good idea to make others believe in bitcoins and talk positive but that isn't the case anymore.

Do we have to make people think positive about dollar? No, similarly we don't have to push bitcoin now, at least in my opinion.
3338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your bull run profit 2021 on: February 27, 2021, 05:29:46 AM
As for now I don't have any profit for the past 1 year. But I still believe on my holdings that they wil give me a huge amount of income. Besides I'm seeing a great progress and project plans for the coins I have.
Actually your holdings are going up which is itself a profit, sometimes people don't consider profits unless they are cashed but even if you are not cashing they are profit as you are holding. Someone holding Bitcoin last year and if he managed to hold this year, chances are they doubled or even quadrupled their money.

I never quite estimated my earnings so I don't have a number myself but for sure I have earned good amounts specially with the dogecoin pumping that happened I made good profit because when musk tweeted I was among the others who quickly realized the price will now pump more and more and it did.
3339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Insane Gas Fees on: February 27, 2021, 04:47:41 AM
your complaint is the same as mine, I want to sell my tokens, and if I sell them I get $ 60 but the gas cost reaches $ 50, that's really really crazy, so I can only hold my tokens until the price really goes up.  in order to cover the very expensive gas costs.
The alternative solution might be sending the tokens on another chain like TRC-20 but if the token supports that kind of transactions. I mean I was facing the same problem with some coins but the usage of TRC-20 chain solved my problems so it might help you.

if the token price really goes up, now if the token price has started to fall, then there is no story to sell it, moreover the gas costs also often go up rather than down, because the decline and increase will always be in crypto.
I am not sure because I haven't made recent transactions in ETH but aren't there accelerator for transactions just like they exist for Bitcoins? If so you can use very cheap fees for transaction and just use accelerators to get confirmations.

But overall it is quite crowded and I think people are losing interest in ERC-20 because of all the fees issues recently.

Honestly if you are not getting the wheel thingy from mail, you are not missing too much. I am subscribed to it and I am getting it daily and it is really not that shocking at all. So far I have received basically 50 satoshi or 50 RP almost all the time, I have done this more than 20 times now and got 19 times those 50 satoshi or 50 rp deal and only got one 400 satoshi or something and that is nothing as well you may realize.

So, basically it is a free once a day thing and not like I expect 10 btc from it neither, they can't just give people tons of money there all the time because it is once a day but if you think you are missing out something do not feel like that because it is not really anything special.
