Just a question,
What is this report badges for? Does it affect the ranking system? If yes, Iam sure that lots of user will do reporting excessively even if the reported replies is useful for everyone.

What are the consequences if you do not maintain the report counts?
3322  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About TOR Browser on: July 22, 2018, 12:14:15 AM
Good Day Everyone, I can't find some answers in google regarding tor browser that blocks phishing site. It only shows "Top sites that are blocked by Tor Browser". I am using it right now and I was thinking if this browser will block phishing websites.  Huh

PS: I don't want to create another topic for some noobie question like this, also this is not a megathread and no one mentioned about my query.
3323  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano Maiwasang Maging Bagholder: Risk Management, Exit Strategies and More on: July 21, 2018, 02:00:46 AM
Advisable sa beginners ay 1-2% per trade. Para sakin maganda start muna 1%, then increase to 2% or more after may kita na to avoid accelerated drawdown in case na magkaroon ng series of losing trades in the beginning.
I find these interesting, I have a question since I am new to trading environment. I mean if you gained like 1% to 2% you can now freely sell your invested coin to make good gains?

>> Sample with an account of $1,000, bale siyempre 1% ay $10, yan ang risk mo per trade.

I see it as a complicated method if we do it in every trade just to determine the risk involved.

Risk to Reward – eto yung measure ng profitability naten sa trades. So sa example trade naten, Entry at $6 , stoploss at $5 (-16.6%) at target price na $16(+266%)
Geez, how do you determined the target price? Naguguluhan po ako
3324  Other / New forum software / Re: search and merit on: July 19, 2018, 02:21:35 AM
but too many people never get an answer.
If you are browsing every day in Beginners & Help Section, there tons of queries out there posted by Low-Rank Members. If you spend some time reading each and every reply in the thread you will notice that there are some High Rank Members who are constantly answering their question.

It's just that they are continuing to clean the entire Section by commenting to newbies to avoid spamming activities.
3325  Other / Meta / Re: Improve the quality of new topics on: July 19, 2018, 02:04:12 AM
1. If your new message has written 20 pages of reviews and answers - 5 merits.
2. If Your topic received 30 pages of feedback and answers - 5 more merits.
3. If your topic received 50 pages of feedback and answers - 10 more merits.

Well, further in the same spirit. I understand that the offer is fabulous but I think it will also help from the influx of stupid questions.
But then there is the view that topics should not be posted in all sections because section altcoins every second will achieve the rank of member for 2 weeks.
You are not helping the forum to change to a better one. You are likely tolerating the number of users who had gone into shitposting. You are just promoting on how to make tons of shitpost rather than having a few posts with quality.  Huh
3326  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Anong quality ng post ang nais ng mga Pinoy merit source? on: July 17, 2018, 03:05:11 AM
If hindi kaya ang criteria ng isang merit source/source or di mo ma please yung merit source or sino mang nag bibigay ng merit, why frustrate your self?
That is why, it is more important to say nothing rather than making a comment that may lead to some kind of shitposting. Some of the filipino users became a crybaby when it comes to merit system, pero kung titingnan yung post naman nila puro social media reports which is very ironic to what they are saying.  Roll Eyes
Does rank really matter?
In general, lots of filipino bicointalk users agreed that the hierarchy of rank matters because of the difference of quantity of money they are going to receive when joining any bounties. Instead of educating themselves about crypto, they just shitpost to attain their quota posts that leads to spamming and being stucked in Low rank status.
What's the difference between an old member with little to no knowledge and ang alam lang ay mag signature campaign compared to newbies who are determined to learn?
It just shows that Rank cannot be defined by their level of knowledge. Sometimes may mga high ranks pa na nagshitpost instead of contributing for the betterment of the forum.
3327  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some suggestion while advertising in signature space. on: July 16, 2018, 09:10:07 AM
Me too I agree. But, what if a reputable manager is running a Signature Bounty Campaign that turns out to be scam? What will happen? I am aware that each and every one is reponsable when choosing a campaign.

Looking forward to your progress T.S!
LOL. That is not true even bounty managers didn't get paid when the ICO or bounty they managed turns out to be a scam. BUT, it is the bounty manager's duty to examine the legality of the bounty they managed. Cheesy

Check out and carefully read this thread. I'm sick of explaining this kind of doubts or questions. Wink

Yes, its up to the person who views our posts. But it's just a reminder to let everyone know. May mga DT kasi na ayaw ng ganyan, kaya leta minize the risk of being red tagged.
3333  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / [BEWARE] Avoid putting this on your Profile Information on: July 14, 2018, 10:12:07 AM
Greetings,
Just a while ago I am surfing in the 'Meta' Section for about an hour and I encountered something like this, after seeing the post, myself urged me to share this that will serve as a reminder for every Filipino in our Local Section to avoid having a Negative Trust. Smiley

As you can see, this Jr. Member's account has a Personal Text that shows "GIVE ME MERIT PLEASE! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!GODBLESS". For some members, this is actually a kind of "Merit Begging" activity but the difference is it is in passive form. Some DT [Default Trust] said
that it is not a kind of merit begging. They considered merit begging when someone asks for merit thru PM's and asking for merits in threads. The lists below shows their other opinions regarding this.

1. It is not begging because it is not different for those people who put their bitcoin address in their Picture/ Text and ask for donations.
2. They just don't like it because people are not obliged to give their merits to you.
3. You'll just give them a reason to not give you a merit.
4. Indirect way of merit begging (just like what I've said before it is PASSIVE)

See the full thread here.

Take care of it like you're taking care of your bank accounts  Wink
3334  Other / Meta / Re: Many Newbies posting the exact same message, Mod action required on: July 12, 2018, 09:31:18 AM
What will happen to these accounts? I don't think banning them will solve these spam problems. With each passing today, these issues are getting worse. Just a concern forum member here, banning them won't solve these problems as they can create another account in order make such post all over again. Is there a way to delete these accounts because I am worried that it will just clog the forum.

Anyways, I agree with Silent26 that you deserve to become a Global Moderator. Smiley
3335  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [GUIDE] Basics sa bounty management on: July 12, 2018, 09:06:26 AM
It looks like you are preparing yourself to become one of the best bounty manager here in the Philippines lol Grin. Anyways, this is a nice startup tutorial when creating a google form intended for bounties.

Additional request, If you have the chance to learn in designing bounty spreadsheet please let us know. It is elegant to see if the bounty spreadsheet is clean and organized. My signature's spreadsheet will serve as an example.

For a more detailed look. See here

Honestly, it is difficult to receive merits if the user does only shitposting and not contributing to the betterment of the forum. Newly registered accounts who gets promoted because of merit are those worthy people to receive bounty rewards, kasi may nacontribute sila and of course they are continuously learning.
Look at your posts kabayan. Avoid too much use of over quoting. There are some foreign members who are gallant in giving their merit, just create some good posts.
3337  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: 🎖️Tumutumal ang Merit Distribution HERES WHY🎖️ on: July 05, 2018, 01:46:21 AM
Either nka ignore sya or ayaw lang pansinin

Usually kasi marami agad magrereply na DT once na meron nagaaply na merit source.
I smell something fishy out there especially sa application niya. It's just sad that they don't appreciate the hardwork of our fellowmen.
3338  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source applications of senior members.... on: July 04, 2018, 08:17:38 AM
You said it, not me.  If the person showing the appreciation disregards the obvious conflict of interest, then that's a problem.  If it were me applying to be a merit source, it would be obvious that I shouldn't give merits to those who were supporting my application in my thread.  That's a bad use of merits; I would expect a potential merit source to know that; and I wouldn't support a candidate who did that.
I understand. Anyways, there is actually no restrictions to show some gratitude to those who show support in the application. I hope theymos and the others would understand that. By the way, thank you for your tip. Smiley
3339  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source applications of senior members.... on: July 04, 2018, 07:56:22 AM
Agreed. This is a conflict of interest.
But I'm pretty sure theymos will notice this too, when considering his application.

When I had my Merit source application open, I made it a point to never Merit any of the posts in that thread.
I thought that we can merit a post if they find that your post is useful and sometimes a hilarious one. I think its just a Filipino culture to show some kind of appreciation Smiley
3340  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: 🎖️Tumutumal ang Merit Distribution HERES WHY🎖️ on: July 04, 2018, 07:22:02 AM
If you can see the posts of other members here in our local and in the other section outside the local that has merits, you will know what you are going to post. Kung mapapansin mo yung post nila, they are just being honest and true to their reply thus resulting in a very useful and constructive discussion. In the other way around, pwede ka naman magpost about bitcoin topics if you want to, but remember to avoid attempting plagiarizing.

If we can encourage high rank members of our time to apply as a merit source to our local section, more low rank members will be encouraged to post in a high quality, thus resulting of a more sincere discussion.
