$3500 is too much
3322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A4+ Coming soon - Pre-order and possible group buy on: September 01, 2017, 11:39:59 PM
if they are gona upgrade whats on the site with a pre order ,whats the point of the grp buy unless we can get a better
price? I was going to order 10 from the site becuase I thought it was a free upgrade, for $1900 i would still be in for 10

lowerr price id be in for 20

They do fix the BTC ratio when you make the order for real.
It's not a realtime Bitstamp price, but much better still.

I know because they did it when I ordered one A5 preorder after a long thought.
Let's see how that turns out.  Cheesy
Delivery in November.

so how many did you order and what was the BTC price you have a recipt ?
I ordered one unit and the btc price was valued approx. 4200 USD .

what im asking sorry is what did you actually PAY in btc , i.e they are pricing it at 1500 so did you pay .25 BTC or the outrageous .28 they want right now for a preorder

witch brings the price to 1950 or so vs the 1500 if you paid in full via wire

I dotn see where it says that an A4 preorder will magically be upgraded to an A4+

Innosilicon needs to state that on this thread

You need to listen through that video that was linked in this thread earlier.

I see all that but they still have to confirm on thier thread

and honestly with the jacked up prices for BTC and LTC they use , its no surprise that no one is buying
3326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: September 01, 2017, 09:05:55 AM

I got the ryzen 1800x  as it does hash the shit out of xmr.

From what I hear the 1950X does about 1300 h/s for XMR.  So if the 1800X does 530 and makes $1.40 then the 1950X should make $3.40 a day.  The ROI time would be close for both chips and makes it very tempting.

36-52 kwatts july

 Shocked Shocked

I wish I had an option for expension at the moment. I'm maxed out.

This solar setup is quite awesome.
1 year ROI is bs, you dont know if the diff will spike in 3 months let alone a year, I buy nothing that will
not ROI in 5 months unless im using it for something else
3327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: September 01, 2017, 09:03:33 AM
you really belive these trolls? bitmain doesnt need any new miners , they are the only game in town, the. quantities of
l3 they can release at a lowe price would swamp the number of A4s

that being said if inno accepted btc or ltc at a regular rate im sure they would sell a ton of A4

Its all about density i used to be fine with six but now with server psus i can turn a 36 gpu rack into 48 with still nice space between all cards and do 48 gpu thata 1000mhs  vs 1300 mhs

BE CAREFUL with ETHPOOL

oh finally i was watching my miners and I notice some of my miners will get the message "share rejected by pool"

then they disconnect you you get

or cannot connect to "US1.ethpool.org:3333"

then disconect and the re-connect, and then some of the rigs cards only hash at 8.345 and some rigs even just die.

Its a persistent problem, I will give it a few more days then I', m moving my hash to nanopool , its really fking anoying man

I have seen that before but with the new blockchain drivers rigs are more sensitive to crappy pools and constant disconects

Well, on 2nd thought, since Bitmain is asking $1,870 for this Nov batch L3+, I will be ordering zero instead of the 2-3 I was considering at a reasonable 1300-1400 price point.  I might kick myself later but that's just a bit too risky for me.  Oh well, back to the drawing board lol.

Sold out in 13 minutes I heard.

I think ROI is still good.

Just by putting them on Nicehash..... 10 x L3+ averages about 800 USD$ per day*...... ROI in 24 days.

* Excludes power bill.

What about the A4 , those are still available, only prob is u have to buy 5

I think there are still A4 for sale or people happy to sell them because it wasn't up to par performance wise.
It wasn't as successful as the A2, and required plenty of firmware upgrades and jiggy works - it was a mess.
My group has 6 of them and its was quite a nightmare because the first few firmware was very unstable.

There is a Innosilicon A5 DASHMASTER shipping mid-Sept, but its an X11 miner.
It's a whopping 30GHs miner selling for $9999
Don't know if they have revised this price yet, because Bitmain is selling D3 X11 miner too for much lesser but at 15GHs miner but ships November.

I hear about the issues with A4's I had assumed they were resloved looks like inno reduced the MOQ quantity to 3 PCs
I might order 3 for october delivery next week to play with, I cant ever get in on the L3+ sweepstakes , sales go too fast
But i feel like I need to be in the scrypt game.

X11 feels too risky with these monster D3 and this A5 thing not counting Ibelink etc

Hi, first of all dont run SRR Agent.exe
You should copy both files on each windows rig.
Then you need to RUN SRR Tool.exe on each rig.
Then you need to connect to SRR, set options on the right where you see Agent fields.
Then you just enter serial of the SRR and slot that this particular rig is connected to.
Then press Save and then Install.
Also after that its good to open services.msc , Search for SRR Agent adn change "delayed startup" to normal one.
After that the Agent will be starting on this rig automatically and start sending packets to SRR Device.
After you set all rigs you can turn ON watchdog in SRR Tool.
You can do that by setting for example 120-250 in watchdog delay field.
Then the watchdog will restart each rig that didnt sent keepallive packets within 120-250 seconds Smiley
If you will still have problem, please write to admin@simplemining.net with team viewer informations, i can enter and help you but please try it first yourself Smiley

I'll give it a shot, thanks

@Claymore First, I want to thank you for your great software. Second, I wanna know what is your opinion about miner not working on Win7 with Blockchain drivers? Is it a problem with drivers or in miner?

Try the procedure for installing the leaked unofficial driver fix.  By robinh00d (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2068446.0).  It worked for me.  If not, just upgrade to win10 Smiley
stop saying upgrade to win 10, my god Im sick of hearing that. I have win 10 on all my rigs and
all three i tried with the blockchain driver dont work, the same no opencl card detected
error only in claymore.

only robin hood driver works

In case anybody interested, I grabbed a Vega 64 for test. (all claymore)

Eth mining 34mh stock with last AMD driver,
37mh with blockchain beta driver, and 41mh with simple OC.

less than 500h/s ZEC mining with last claymore.

Very noisy.
500euros in Germany.
Won't buy more if it stay at that level.

try dual mining sia or dcr or lbr

got my 2 SRR V2 today they work great

I still have not been able to figure out to get the watchdog deal working on windows 10

The confusing part to me is it says the watchdog Agent needs to be in the same directoroy as the SRRTool

does the SRR tool automatically install the watchdog on rigs it is connected to ? or do you have to install the watchdog manually on each Rig ?

Not that I can install the Agent anyways, even after I unblock the app on the main computer I am using to manage rigs I see this when I try to run it
Code:
"Cannot start service from the command line or debugger. A windows Service must first be installed(using installutil.exe)
and then started with the ServerExplorer, Windows Services Administrative tool or the NET START command. "

I asked about this in the past and never got a satisfactory answer any ideas ?

the other 2 cards are  both 1070 rigs , this is my  first 1060 rig . Im attempting to make it  8 card with  the m.2  but  just want to get  to 6 cards before i attempt  8 !  4 cards running  like a  dream  but  just no luck once the 5th card hits the board , constant boot loop. will update all the drivers  now and post an update  shorty

and so beings the 10th hour of  rig  fiddling  Shocked

one thing I found on this board is if you have less than 5 cards it will not boot with 4G decoding turned on
3339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 40 % of miners already moved from Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash on: August 23, 2017, 09:10:02 AM
The good news is the difficulty of Bitcoin mining will go down. Would that mean that ordinary people like us can start mining Bitcoin again from home? What is the best Asic miner and how much would it cost today?

It might look concerning now but long term it will be a win for Bitcoin miners. The big guys all jump on Bitcoin cash and the home user keeps the Bitcoin network alive again how it always was meant to be. Then when bcc becomes too hard they will jump back to Bitcoin again. But if you do care for Bitcoin I recommend keeping mining on the main network to keep it alive. In the further future when mining stops we need a lot of volunteers to keep the network up something to already think about. Everything leans on Bitcoin how we see pricing in crypto.

I think the miner jump will be only about 30-40%. So both chains should be fine.

I'll pick up 5 or six S9 or T9 on that sale tomrow need to get in on the next fork lol

I will add more 1080 ti's for the next three months

What kind of price are you gettting your 1080Ti's for?

Newegg usually has at least one card on sale at $699 (most commonly the Gigabyte Windforce model).

If you're running riser rigs, though, I'd recommend paying a little more for the Aorus as it's noticeably higher performance and cools a lot better.

570s and 580s have dropped heavly in price

i picked up 4 for 269 and an 8GB for 320 today

I think its better to buy those if you have the space
