It seems like Ethereum will reach a new ATH the second time again, hours back I read news that whales are investing 500million dollars on ETH which is a good plan that they are preparing for PoS algorithm rewards, the adoption rate looks way higher than BTc or am I wrong?
ETH will be easy to get ATH because ETH has great power in crypto. I see it's just a matter of time before ETH can experience a second, third, fourth or so on. I don't think that BTC or ETH someday will replace fiat. first of all governments won't allow this to happen and common people don't like the volatility of cryptocurrencies. just imagine how the prices in supermarkets will change every day.

Tbh, I'm not that bothered about the ban. The only downside to that news is that market always reacts to it negatively and that's what we're seeing right now. Aside from that, I'm not bothered. I mean, this is actually not the first time that China has openly gone all out for crypto and definitely won't be the last. Just like @jackg said, the ban might just be to prevent people from investing and that they should focus more on government based ventures.

This is not first time CHINA banned crypto currency in their country, there is long history of banning and it always had temporary effect on Bitcoin price and later it recovered quickly. Cardano is a very strong project and promising project. But i think that in 2020 cardano coin price is near to 0.1$ and in 2021 bull run its price will hit 3$ and its still increases. It is pumped 30X within one year. And 20$ is a very difficult target and its takes long time to complete this target. It might be 5 or 10 years. So, hold this coin if anyone want to get massive project from this project. It will definitely give you good project in future.
Cardano is again news after launching of its smart contracts but due to sluggish Bitcoin market it has not shown impressive performance. It is certainly good coin for long term investment and it has shown excellent performance during the past one year when its price increased more than 500%. Technically speaking if any breakout happens in ADA then its next target in above 3$ provided Bitcoin is not dumped. |

Cardano can hit even 50$ after they launch their smart contract. They are the first blockchain project to actually get cryptocurrency correct. They have a use-case as an actual cryptographic CURRENCY, NOT a cryptoCOIN that only holds value to hold value. Goods/services are the actual economy. This currency can facilitate that, no matter how mad any random government gets about it. Plus the ease at which developers can create projects on the Cardano blockchain makes it a prime ecosystem for ingenuity and disruption. So we can expect big momentum in price.
I think it won't be easy for cardano to hit 50$ which is a very big target , imagine where will be Marketcap of cardano at 50$many trillion dollars which doesn't look possible in the near future. Cardano smart cotract already launched but unfortunately due to bearish conditions of crypto market it didn't make any positive impact on cardano price. |

In terms of savings, it has definitely made it slower.
Groceries & prices in generally have crept up over the past few years that has stymied savings progress, whilst wage growth hasn't seen the same growth.
In terms of investing, it might have actually helped. Most of my portfolio is in stocks and cryptos which generally positively associate with inflation.
I think one of the major reason is economic slow down during the past years which has impacted all businesses worldwide and as a result reduced the income of families. How people can making savings when they have not enough income to run their daily life.
