3321  Economy / Gambling / Re: Self Moderated Thread for New Books on: December 09, 2021, 09:50:12 AM
This user cheated on our site. We can not enclose any technical details, since other people would be able to cheat as well on this.

That's so convenient for you, isn't it? Unfortunately we have no way of verifying your claims other than by your word. The thing is, you are a brand new casino here with no reputation, so your word doesn't carry much weight. In addition, you tend to censor excessively in your self-moderated thread and have a negative attitude towards the community, which is why I am inclined to doubt your claims.

I think everybody already suspected this, since the user made sure he turned 800$ into 5500$.

Unless you claim that making a fair profit at your casino is impossible, this is not a valid argument.

Since Adobe no longer supports Flash Player after December 31, 2020 and blocked Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021, Adobe strongly recommends all users immediately uninstall Flash Player to help protect their systems.

Why anyone would use a browser that is built on outdated, proven to be insecure and dead technology is beyond me, let alone adding a cryptocurrency wallet to the mix.

Is that a fresh screenshot that you made when you constructed that post?
I looked at the Specials on Sportsbet and I can't find that market. I see Oscar winners, UK and US politics, and BBC personalities. Btw, what's the odd that the price won't be over $100k on Christmas day?

Yes, I believe that was a fresh screenshot ralle14 took.
Strangely, the Bitcoin - Price prediction line is not listed under 'Specials', but rather under 'Sports Specials'?! I had to use the search function to find it. But yeah, I can't imagine anyone taking that bet with those odds.  Huh
3324  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: December 08, 2021, 08:15:23 AM

3325  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Avoid 4444sport.com until they change their behavior on: December 08, 2021, 08:01:11 AM
A month has passed since 4444sport joined the forum and started their first ANN thread. As of this writing, there have been no confirmed withdrawals from 4444sport, and several complaints are still unresolved. Although there are no open scam accusations against the casino yet, I support the flag based on their attitude towards the community and excessive censorship in their self-moderated thread. The casino has all the hallmarks of a scam so I don't recommend anyone to gamble there.

Wallet was generated at BitcoinOffical dot org.

The address starts with a "3"

Online (web) wallets should not be trusted unless open source and fully reproducible in offline mode. Although I have no experience with this site, I see that there have been some suspicions from respectable members of this forum.

3328  Other / Meta / Re: The curious case of the forum's three millionth user on: December 07, 2021, 09:30:59 AM
In this case, I guess the account was registered as an alt, not with the intention of becoming a real user, but just as a trophy account. Perhaps with the hope that one day it can be sold as collectibles. The anticipation of the three millionth account was discussed in this thread, which probably gave him an idea. Two user accounts that preceded the three millionth both include throwaway email addresses in their profiles, so we can assume that the same is true for this account as well.
3329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I Doing My Students a Disservice? on: December 06, 2021, 09:02:34 AM
what about the parents? have they been informed about you teaching the kids about blockchain aside from the subject that you actually teach? I admire that you try and teach and introduce them to blockchain and cryptocurrency but knowing how parents can be sensitive(sometimes too sensitive) to what teachers teach in school, I'd be surprised if all the parents of the kids that you teach are ok with it.

Let's not overthink this. Blockchain is simply a new technology. I understand that some parents may be sensitive to political, philosophical, or religious issues, but why would they oppose teaching their children about new technologies?
3330  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: December 05, 2021, 08:54:31 PM
Some will come back with multiple accounts to attack the platform of scam and other related accusations. Don't be surprised that some persons would decide to create like 7 to 10 accounts just to increase the tempo of the scene

Want to talk about multi-accounts? All of these accounts are hired shills employed by 1xbet/1xbit from the very beginning since they returned to the forum. Many of the accounts were also involved in other confirmed scams, such as Adkinsbet, Melbet, Betking... Coincidence?

However, it is good that there are such idiots on the forum who are promoting these scams. It makes it easier for the community to identify them.  Grin

His case is still under investigation as he had a lot of bets.

This is the 4444sport owner's reply from yesterday:

@brassnuts
We already answered you in previous posts. You have placed nearly 300 bets, and it take some time to verify these bets and the validity of it.
Sorry for the off topic, but it looks like the only job of this account and similar on this forum is to troll and spam.

Censorship in a public forum is never a good idea, so it would probably be better if they answered his question instead of deleting his posts. Sounds a little shady to me but what do I know?
3332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which bookmaker accepts financial betting on bitcoin on: December 03, 2021, 09:33:53 PM
There was a site announced in bitcoin a few months back that would allow anyone to create a market and place a bet. It seems that would be the best fit for you since you are looking for placing bets on bitcoin price range. I guess I had a look on their site and there were a few markets with some good odds but I didn't try out the site. Can someone name the website? I can't remember which one is it.

Did you mean this one: Future - Predict the Future?

As I have no personal experience with the casino, I cannot provide any more information about it than what was stated in the ANN topic.
3333  Economy / Gambling / Re: betflip.io does not pay me even my deposit amount on: December 03, 2021, 09:11:55 PM
I received nothing at all from 4444. They never communicated with me once, and they have also closed both of their topics in this forum. They are, or were, just a pure scam site.

The biggest issue that remains is how many people, including long time posters, entered the 4444 thread defending them. Along with that the fact that the moderators allowed 4444 to close their older thread, filled with allegations, and let them open a new self moderated thread albeit a thread which lasted only a few hours before they jumped ship.

It is important that the moderators here put player safety first, and when a thread is filled with negative reviews, and literally not one single positive confirmation of a withdrawal, more needs to be done to stop these instances.

Actualy, scams are not moderated on this forum. What you should do, if you haven't already, is gather all the evidence and open a scam accusation against them. You can't fight them in their self-moderated thread, so you need to create your own, where you can express your point of view without fear of them deleting your post.
3334  Economy / Gambling / Re: Self Moderated Thread for New Books on: December 03, 2021, 08:01:17 PM
The objectives of Bitcointalk's rules were never to protect the players from bad sportsbooks (or even regular forum users from scammers) - scams are not moderated. The right way to deal with this is to make a Scam Accusation so that the community can leave them negative trust feedback and utilize the flag system in order to place a red warning banner above their thread. I'd recommend posting a scam accusation for your case and see how they deal with it.

Thanks for the reply. I have left a post in 4444's new thread for now, and I will wait for a response from them. I imagine my post will just be deleted but I will have one last shot. If nothing comes from it then I will open up a scam accusation.

There will always be a way for you to refer to your deleted post as it will be archived in external archives. This forum is constantly scraped by at least two external services that archive even deleted posts and threads. The first is Loyce.club, and the second is Ninjastic.space, so for instance, your post will always be accessible here: https://loyce.club/archive/posts/5861/58612368.html (or https://ninjastic.space/post/58612368)

Should your questions go unanswered again, I recommend opening a scam accusation against this casino in the appropriate board. Include all the relevant information and evidence there and refer to your legitimate questions in their self-moderated threads. The community members will flag their account when they find substantial evidence behind your accusation to serve as a warning to everyone.
3335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: December 03, 2021, 07:17:20 PM
First of the semi's today Croatia v Serbia, second semi tomorrow Russia v Germany.

I think we all see this going to a Serbia v Russia final ...
I don't know what is the hype about Serbia. Yes they have a guaranteed point in Djoković but we also have a guaranteed point in doubles with Mektić/Pavić. Gojo is way down the ranking when compared to Krajinović but this is Davis cup and that is something different. Gojo already proved he is getting better and better as the stakes rise higher and he won both matches in Davis cup so far, one of them was against Sonego who is much better than Krajinović. Krajinović has lost all his Davis cup matches without getting a set. My bet is on Croatia @4.2 since I see this match as max 60:40 in favor of Serbia and that has lots of value for me.

Russia is my first favorite from the begging and I expect them to take the title.

Indeed. Many predicted that Gojo's match would be decisive due to the third match, which is the only one in which the Croats are favorites. Once again, Gojo has shown why he is such an outstanding player in the Davis Cup. And Pavic and Mektic are always up for a great match, as they have throughout the season. I am certain that the best doubles players in the world will lead the Croatian team to victory.

I don't think you understood the OP's question. He isn't looking for sports bookmakers which accept cryptocurrencies, but rather bookmakers which offer cryptocurrency prediction markets.
3337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which bookmaker accepts financial betting on bitcoin on: December 03, 2021, 04:39:49 PM
@qevokemusic, while I have already responded to you in another topic, I have just noticed that you have asked a nearly identical question here as well, so I will only quote my previous response. Please refrain from asking the same question and opening multiple topics with identical content in the future since it is against the forum rules.

Please tell me which bookmaker accepts cryptocurrency betting

I can only suggest FreeBitcoin.
FreeBitco.in has been active in this forum for several years, and it has a huge following. I am not aware of any other sportsbook that offers bets on crypto price ranges.

However, they do offer a bit different betting section than regular bookmakers.

3339  Other / Meta / Re: if they banned signature ads would this forum still exist? on: December 03, 2021, 02:43:29 PM
As far as I know, this forum is the oldest and probably the largest community of Bitcoin and crypto enthusiasts online. Thousands of similar communities exist on the Internet that bring together people who share a common interest in a particular subject. There is no reason this community should be any different or cease to exist just because there is no financial incentive for members to post.

Obviously, there would be fewer members and the discussions would be more productive, but that's another matter.
