3341  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon to accept bitcoin payments directly... the real breakthrough!? on: February 28, 2020, 06:30:46 AM
first of all your forum account was a newbie so why call your self isnt ? this idea also happened long time ago but you knew that before , the only problem is that you didnt posted it before so its still acceptable for me but still thanks because this gives others an idea to try and use those service  .
like i said earlier the idea was not new and i think when people started using it , btc and crypto community already excel a little  and hopefully now when more new users see this .
3342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized?? on: February 28, 2020, 03:30:40 AM
I think bitcoin is still decentralized because we can still do a peer-to-peer trading of different cryptocurrency.
i think p2p is what makes it decentralize because other centralized payment methods can do p2p trading too  but the only  difference is cryptos can hide your infos if you wanted too but cex payment methods are i think not possbile and i often see you and the other traders details after every transaction  ,

Quote
Even though it is managed by a huge mining farms, as long as it's managed by the central authority or government, it will still be in decentralized. As long as the number of people who uses bitcoin, the more it will become decentralized.

its not decentralized if its manage by someone  . btc isnt manage by mining farms  but no one owns btc , though we need miners to process the transaction  . increasing number of btc users dont also indicate for a more decentralized economy   .
3343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people compare betting and investing in bitcoin (in terms of risk)? on: February 28, 2020, 02:30:38 AM
because both have risks .  investing is risky . they often compare because when they hear the word investing loosing is also suddenly came to thier mind  .

those people heard horrible stories bout failed investments but they are not really familiar with btc and crypto investments   . a typical btc investment is much better than betting like what the reason stated on the first page   .  the only advantage of betting is that you will not be bored of waiting but investing usually have waiting times if the market is not that hot  or hyped   .
3344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One Altcoin to invest on: February 28, 2020, 01:57:43 AM
you already have 0.2btc in your hand , why not hold it instead of looking for altcoin  .

i think you will be safe that way and you can also earn better that way than seeking for unsure suggestions   . you never know what if its already a scammer that recomend you to invest on thier coin  . and your only looking for one alt coin  ? i think 0.2btc is too huge for just one alt but it could be more better and safer if you allocate lower than that or you could diversify for 4 to 5 kinds  if ever your still willing to convert that 0.2btc to alts
3345  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin will appreciate forever on: February 28, 2020, 01:14:10 AM
i think its too early to say this because we dont even know if what will happen soon to bitcoin   . im only basing my example to other things like for example the old games or the old site we have use and played before  . before they came out people appreciated them and we think that those stuffs will remain forever but the time come that one day those stuffs are not enjoyable anymore or they got shutdown  ,   but on the case of bitcoin, btc is not a game or a site but its a currency/asset  . it has a value but the value can decrease or be lost soon but then again , no one knows yet   if what faith are waiting  .
3346  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Saving Plan on: February 28, 2020, 12:33:19 AM
Of course, in my opinion, the best plan for an investor is to invest a certain amount of money on a monthly basis in the highest-rated cryptocurrencies.  Thus, there is a good chance to minimize possible losses and increase the chances of a good profit.  But if you consider a specific project, then you need to buy such coins in bulk at a certain moment, when it will be profitable by analyzing the maximum and minimum schedules.  But in any case, I prefer long-term investments.

Investing on.a monthly basis is the best options, especialy if you have some extra funds each month for continuous investment. It's good to diversify investment so besides Bitcoin to choose some other coins or perhaps some type of investment that is not related to cryptocurrency
Long term definetely should have advantage compared to short term thus you will minimize the risk and maximize the profit.
Diversify all you can as long you do have spare money to spend or invest on.We should not only focus on crypto investment but also on

those traditional ones like forex stocks real estate etc. We can save up out of our profits then re-invest it for further expansion of business then

repeat on the cycle until you do able to make it big.
Yes, investments made consistently every month are of course the best way because then at least we have an initial target to continue investing and stop investing to enjoy profits. This method will not be right if done only for the short term because basically the investment plan which is carried out gradually every month requires us to invest for the long term so that good planning and good research to start investing in other projects is a major factor that must be considered.

this is suitable for those who have jobs and thier salary is per month  but before to decide investing in cryptos , they should first pay their priorities . when all is clear and they have some funds left , that is the time they buy coins but they should also choose the right coin wisely  .

there are times that cryptos are on bullish by the time your going to buy them  , if that problem occur i think its better if you refrain from buying for now and re schedule your buy times based on your observation  .
3347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So are we in bullish times or Not?? on: February 27, 2020, 11:29:10 PM
For me, not yet. I have been looking for the market to surge high and reach to $11k (and for me to call it in bullish) but we are still below $10k which I consider it not a bullish one.
your standards are high enough to me  , but for me i can consider the recent happening as a bullish because btc isnt the one that i see recovered but other coins pumped too more than they recovered  .

Quote
It is quite to see that we can't see Bullrun early this year as many people expecting to happen but it might be possible after halving as in most halving, the uptrend motion comes after the event.
we all have a bull run preference . like i said earlier  , i now consider these times as a bull  . for you it isnt but you shouldnt lost hope and wait after the halving . many people were also waiting for that moment to happen but you shouldnt wait without doing anything  . you better buy and hold coins too so that you can gain something if your  desired bull event started  .
3348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2020, 10:50:57 PM
altcoins large fluctuations ? hell no dude alts are not volatile as bitcoin  so alts hardly move if ever there is a major bad news but btc are the ones that are going to be affected the most  .

your questioning if why alts are fragile , obviously because of thier small value but not fragile in a way that they can be easily affected by a speculation or some sort of news   . good altcoins are much more stronger than the shitty ones  but all of them arent expempted ones whales manipulate them directly  .
3349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: February 27, 2020, 09:58:46 PM
buying at high is risky and not really recomended  because when the price is high a big chance itll drop because some are gonna start selling .
buying at dip is okay and its normal if the value goes dipper but that chance is also low because once the value is on dip , everyone is buying so the value should increase now . whats bad is that you the value rises just before you start buying . lastly itl also depend on the coin because not all coins are active on up and down phase
3350  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto mass adoption achievement on: February 27, 2020, 09:27:05 PM
How they could be coordinated if all of them are aiming to have more sales and increase their market cap? I think they will only be coordinated and united if the same strategy of Sun will be applied.
It's the acquiring of other projects and uniting it as one management.

exactly mate . they are greedy and want more profit so teaming up is a myth but i think ive seem some that do collaborate  . it was like a two popular name that teamed as one and form a new brand that is two times stronger  . they can still dived their share equally . if other cant unite thier advocacy is still the same and that is too provide good service for the public , we can still be proud of them .   i didnt know the justin sun have a teamed up with other personalities , i thought he is a strict guy and likes to work alone . thanks for the info anyway .
3351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get lucky ;) on: February 27, 2020, 08:46:29 PM
There is no such thing as luck bro, you can't just will yourself to be lucky, how would that even work dude?

You should be playing, gambling, betting etc by understanding that the odds are always against you.

Play based on statistics and you will always perform better, don't rely on defying the odds to get rich.

this is more better than rellying totally on luck  . there are many game modes on a lottery and we should know thier odds not just by randomly betting  them and depending on your luck  . we should be smart when gambling because that increases our chance of winning .  but i still believe that there is such thing as luck , i feel lucky sometimes but  i dont apply it on gambling  because i think a gambling platform can do what they want to make you loose if they want too and your luck cant do anything with it
3352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If google has its own crypto currency? on: February 27, 2020, 03:57:37 PM
i agree on what you said  . google is like the main page of the internet   . they can easily market the coin and they can easily gain the trust of the people but this idea is like impossible to happen because google is now busy on thier own crafts  .

they have lots of things to do and they are already earning a decent amount of cash so why will still they waste time for this things for creating a crypto  ? and i never see a big company created thier own crypto  .  i think cryptos is just arent thier interest   .
3353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: February 27, 2020, 02:32:35 PM
Changing is not impossible.
Changing s always a choice we have.
Changes can easily be done specially for things that are only causing bad things in our life just like gambling. If we really love ourselves and people around us who care for us we can easily go away in excessive gambling and do things that will benefit you and other people around you.

you said benefits ,  gambling has benefits too  . it gives fun and money that can make you happy and others too but too much gambling is not healthy anymore and will always lead to being busted  . change is not a choice that we look for if we are on the addicted state but instead we will keep playing and playing even if we know that we are not already normal  .  this is a  scary state once you are on it  . we need to be more spiritual and ask help for god , this is what i do before and luckily i slowly recovered  .
3354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: February 27, 2020, 12:01:13 PM
yes its always a good idea to track what you spend on a gambling site   . if you see how much you loose , you will think twice the next time you make a depo and maybe you will only depo small on your next play . earning money is never been easy , i work hard even on weekends and i rarely day off because i want to earn more  so that i can pay all my bills and debts   . this is why i dont gamble alot compare to the days that i havent have my family and are only depending on my own parents
3355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Post a gambling site by: Newbie. on: February 27, 2020, 11:36:01 AM
its easy to create a new account and promote a scam site not just a gambling site  . that is why  ,  but  users here are not newbie and they inspect the site first or do some research before they entrust any money with it  .

also now all newbie are posting scam links or scam gambling sites but i see other users asking some help on the popular and legit gambling sites , we should not restrict them or delete those post because those are valid  except only to those that are guilty and verified to be a scam gambling site  .
3356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: February 27, 2020, 10:54:48 AM
If you are a real avid fan of that site and you're into stuff they are selling you might see it as worth to try but if you are a person like me well then I think it will just be a waste of money.
Or it's just a thing of the company to get more sales and money?
Surely it is just for more sales and marketing, gambling sites are not the proper place to put those stuff but they need to for more sales because they are still many people who are willing to buy those.

no you are not going to pay for them afaik but they are only extra addons for the benefits or they can be in the form of giveaway for thos who are regular costumers on thier site  . you cant also buy those stuff on any other markets because those stuff are only exclusive for the gambling site .  so if you are a fan of the gambling site that your playing and want to get thier merch , the only way to do it is to play and bet more to unlock those    . there are also gamblers that dont care for those things but only care for the profit that they can win
3357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto whales hacked, lost $15M BTC and $30M BCH on: February 26, 2020, 12:34:07 PM
Someone with that amount of Bitcoin? There is no way they would store on their mobile phone in an exchange or on a samsung phone. This has to be fake. How on earth could a whale let this happen in such a hacker driven environment around the space? I don't believe this.

You have a point though, but, nobody can tell what exactly happened to him as such amount shouldn't have be kept into online wallet. The victim might be those who haven't interested in the knowing of this technology but rather love to associate with the investment involved.

the title says crypto whale . whale means expert on this field so i dont believe that he arent aware of the risk plus not only him but many pro and big hodlers do also got hacked no matter how they secure thier accounts . thats only an evidence that hackers are smarter  than the users of the wallet and exchanges because they know how to bypass any security without us knowing it and they mainly target big people because me i havent been hacked yet luckily as im also a small time cryptoer
3358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project's website is asking private keys of the holders. on: February 26, 2020, 11:39:20 AM
If everyone knows how serious a private key is they will never have the nerves to use their wallet to claim free coins that worth almost nothing, and if any one asked for your keys you won't think twice before blocking such person
The main point is never trust your private keys to anyone or even someone close to you. Exactly we have the rights not to entertain that person asking such things. Let's be wise enough in order to protect our assets in the wallet.

i share my private keys to my parents or to one of my family members because i trust them but i never ever share them to the person outside my family tree because that isnt just right , how much more to the person that ask it online ?

but obviously except for  those decentralized exchange where one of the option to open up a wallet is by private key  but other than that i never see an airdrop or a bounty that ask for a private key but other people yes they saw many times  .  i feel nervous for them  .
3359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: February 26, 2020, 05:42:41 AM
there is a simillar thread on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5227963.0  .   however the only difference from his thread to yours is he is talking about taxed and he include wins on his listings but here you are only tracking about your losses    .  tracking looses is bad in my opinion because this makes us lead to being greedy or not contented because we will end up betting again and again just in the hopes of recovering what we already lost  and i think its not verry possible to recover them all   . i never attempted it but i only gamble win or loss and call it a day
3360  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: February 25, 2020, 11:49:26 PM
I agree, Bitcoin is not a cryptocurrency imo, its a cryptoinvestment.
its like gold. you hold it to have an investment. you could go buy something with gold (some stores should accept it), but not many people would do it because the value could be higher a few days later.

so, cryptoinvestment, not cryptocurrency imo

You got a point on this one. I would never use my Bitcoins currently and spend them for anything right now. They are safe in my wallet for the next years and are a long-term investment. Why would you spend them now, if you trust the tech and you are sure that they will be worth more in near future. That makes absolutely no sense. In addtion to that transaction costs are currently high and it makes no sense from that standpoint to spend them anyway.

For people who are long term and not going to use it then better to store offline rather than saving it in wallets or on any exchanges for the safety purpose . I also prefer to save it and not sell when the markets are falling and intact when their is a fall in prefer to buy more and may be if require some money sell during highs at times .

this is the mistake of a long term hodlers that they prefer storing online  . they can afford to buy and hodl but they dont take time to set up or buy an offline wallet   .

not unless if they can accept the risk that entails with storing cryptos online   . on the other hand ,  cryptos are not really an investment  . call it hybrid investment slash currency would be better   .  i use my crypto for both purpose .  i dont really hodl for too long but i also sell it when i need money
