3341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 27, 2015, 04:58:09 AM
Yep most of it, some of my btc going to gamble but most of them keeping for price go up
i agree majority of my btc is holding to go price up, rest is for a little bit of fun
If you believe in the philosophy of life is short, you will spend some bitcoins for fun now itself. I believe in bitcoin so I never spend any satoshi now itself. I just hold them for bigger price raise. Holding big amounts of bitcoin also will lengthen my life.

Yes, selling at the right time and at right price is good decision to make, holding is the good thing to do, I keep on spending it when I feel to spend, we are earning money to spend and for me same goes with bitcoins, I spend it on every weekend as I am not much worried about future, because if it cannot be helpful in present then future is far away, I earn and I spend, simple.

Holding bitcoin for bigger price may be the right thing for passive bitcoin trader or for bitcoiners. But selling at higher prices is must for a active bitcoin traders. So, buying at lower prices and selling for profit is a continuous action for me. I have some bitcoins in cold storage, only those are sleeping for higher price raise.
3342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Behaviors Lead to Gambling Addiction on: November 26, 2015, 04:11:33 PM
Blindly believing in gambling leads to addictions.
Due to the greed of making big amounts of money in quick time many people enters into gambling and making losses until they realize their real situations. This greed turns into addictions.
3343  Economy / Speculation / Re: 360$ , what going on ? on: November 26, 2015, 01:44:26 PM
I also didn't expect this sudden price increase. I really hope this is not another hot air pump that will vanish after a week or so. That would be sad.
We settled about 100$ higher after the last 'hot air' pump, that's not that bad.

Yes we need to get satisfied after the last bump for getting some $100 hike with the stable in bitcoin price range. That must be a biggest leap if we consider last 10 months of bitcoin trading. Hope for same thing happen again with this current bump also.
3344  Economy / Speculation / Re: BIG PUMP STARTED .. $400 SOON on: November 25, 2015, 04:32:57 PM
all these pump topics... everyone is just hoping for good news...lmao....
High bitcoin price is not necessarily always good thing. A lower price a better and more affordable price for people to start with bitcoin.
Especially now when bitcoin has had more dirt thrown on it, mostly from the imbeciles from mainstream media and private companies.
With bitcoin lower price more people will see it as an opportunity to buy.

This is a completely wrong approach. Nobody says you have to own a full Bitcoin. It doesn't matter if it's worth $500 or $5000 since you have fractions like mBTC.

Yes. We can use bitcoin even it hit one million dollars for the same purpose of transacting money or using bitcoin just like money. But value appreciation is more important for bitcoin right now to make bitcoin mining process to be profitable. More miners will keep bitcoin network more securely.
3345  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: November 25, 2015, 03:35:34 PM
I didn't buy BTC yet.
All btc i got i have earned with selling stuff/services.
In future, im sure, im gonna buy btc.. but for now its enough for me this way Tongue

In my opinion btc is revolutionary.. hope it will get more widely spread among people

You may be doing your life time mistakes or already missed the big opportunities of buying bitcoins for cheaper price of around $220. Spending some small amount of money for buying bitcoins on regular basis regardless of price of bitcoin must be a good way of engaging ourselves into bitcoin ecosystem.

But we need to think of those who bought at $1200 levels. There are pros and cons on buying now in my point of view. So, I do not always buy when ever I find the downfall I buy some bitcoins. I got better average buying price of less than $200 since I'm buying from 2012.
3346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a difference between buying shares in the stock exchange and gambling? on: November 22, 2015, 08:28:27 AM
I think you don't the meaning of share market investment that's why you telling that investing in share market is guessing game. But real scenario is your buying a business if you don't understand the company business then don't invest in that company. So as per me share market investment for long term is totally different from gambling.

Not everyone buying shares for long term some people just treat it like day trading and nothing special about that. The fast market and high volume is the reason people use it for day trading

What you said is correct, every one want's fast money and at the end who ever goes for these kind of fast money they will end up losing all their money in super fast way. If you check the share market history most of the day traders has lost money but who ever used share market for long term investment tool only made very good profits. So share market is for making profits in long term but not for short term.

But I could clim, gambling would give you more profit in long term persistance along with your gambling skills. Share market is not a guarantee way of making profit in long term, there are many chances that your shares may go to zero value when the company goes bankruptsy.
In my opinion share markets are totally out of our control, but in gambling I feel the ball is still in my court.

That's a good point.
With the share market we are believing some third parties for our profits whereas in gambling, we are relaying on our own skills to make profits. I do believe on my own capability for my fortunes than others.
3347  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: November 22, 2015, 05:18:36 AM
It all depends on your choosing, whenever you like the flexibility of having control of your own money, or to have the ability to earn interest from your savings account, I would like to state that each has their advantages and disadvantages. So until Bitcoin becomes a mainstream currency, it is best to use both a bank account and a Bitcoin wallet. Just my opinion.  Smiley
there are advantages and disadvantages of both, the best is use both
I like the bank because there is interest  Grin

Maybe the bank's regular interest is the only reason people are still using bank accounts. I believe in future there would be bitcoin banks which will pay people interest for bitcoin deposits. It is practically possible. But bitcoin itself value appreciating over time which is more than bank interest.

3349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 14, 2015, 07:31:52 PM
Indian team looking dangerous with its batting on this slow track it is so good with opening stand it has very long batting line up, i think first session will be more important because this pitch can turn again into favor of bowlers.

Yes, tomorrow morning session would be a real test for those 2 Indian opening batsmen. But they have dominated the South African bowling attact so far as Styen and Philander were missing out this important match of their skipper AB deviller's 100th test match.
3350  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: November 14, 2015, 07:29:05 PM
Bitcoin is a quite good investment, see it growing since 2009 until today.
too bad i was late, but never say never Smiley
You not late if like invest in bitcoin, because today bitcoin price still low, believe the next few years bitcoin prices will be very high. Cheesy

And for everybody who already bought bitcoin from the first time, you are the luckiest person. Cheesy

Yes it's not too late to invest into bitcoin. Bitcoin is just 6 years old and it's still in developing phase. So, there are lot of potential to be unveiled to surprise us. So, buying now is the most wisest action in my opinion.
3351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2015, 07:25:40 PM
Another effective method to grow your Bitcoins would be to carefully analyze the charts of alt coins, and choose the one that has a constant price change (like low to high, then high to low) Before making such a move, it is advised to make a research of such crypto currency just to be safe. This has made me a decent amount of profits so far.  Grin

I tried some alt coin trading but I concluded it was same as gambling as I do not aware when it would get dumped heavily. Only few alt coins were fairly distributed and safe for trading them.
3352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: November 02, 2015, 09:53:26 AM
Bitcoin is very rare in Malaysia. As far as I know, there are not even a person (except me) knows bitcoin in my area.
They use internet to surf facebook and social media only

But in Singapore, I have a group of friends who are also believe in bitcoin's future. We do not focus on spending bitcoin, so no need of finding a shop for bitcoin acceptance. In group you will get lot of support and ideas on bitcoin.
3353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 19, 2015, 08:50:16 AM
all our bitcoin holdings seems to be paying off since last week, the bitcoin price has started to go up. i will still be holding my bitcoins for longer because i am sure that this week the same upward trend is going to continue to happen.
and even if it does not. as i have said before, i would be keeping my stash tight untill next year and the time that the halvening effects start to kick in.

Exactly. Holding bitcoin will definitely will get more rewards over time. When the halving occurs and mining rewards goes 12.5 bitcoin per block, there would be more appreciations in bitcoin price as everybody expecting the bitcoin prices to hit the moon.

3355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What features of Bitcoin would you never give up? on: October 17, 2015, 07:34:30 AM
Making a digital version of gold would be greatest idea of human race. Gold has proved itself as a medium, of exchange of many centuries. Now it's the time for digital evolution with the digital format. I really love bitcoin for it's new concepts. I never give up as I love the new innovations.
3356  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: October 10, 2015, 12:19:38 PM
well its depend..if bitcoin give good profit and can cover of the life cost..why not?

but there is nothing better if we can do both..we will gain more..hehe

But at the present situations is not like that. In future as you stated bitcoin is everything we need means, not just me, there would be a flood of people who would like to work for bitcoin alone.
3357  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: October 10, 2015, 12:18:06 PM
i think you need only 1BTC
in future bitcoin can be rich to $10.000  Grin
i hope 1day i can be rich

With 10 000 us dollar cannot have a good retirement. Nay will have a very poor retirement. Retirement last at least 15-20 years and 10 000 us dollars can be spent in only 2-3 month. So, if he will have only 1 bitcoin at the day in which will begin his retirement and this bitcoin will have as value only 10 000 us dollar he will live only two - three months and then will die.  Sad Cry

Yes, just 10k USD will not be sufficient even now a days expenses, then how can retire with such a small amount.

he has guessed the right amount for one bitcoin and failed to get the right number of bitcoin what we needed for our retirement. I guess with 10K price, we need at least 100 bitcoins after 30 years. But after 30 years 10K is a very small amount I can predict for one bitcoin price.
3358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: October 10, 2015, 12:14:51 PM
If you check the history of the bitcoin exchangers you will be shocked.
In the past few years there had been many hacks that a lot of users were affected.
Personally i lost few btc in exchange by trusting them to exchange alt coin to bitcoin.

most people know that exchanges have been hacked but there isn't a better alternative for current exchanges at the moment. don't think gemini exchange will change that.

No. Gemini exchange has all the new and latest technically sound protections. But we do not know how strong a new hacker comes against it. Keeping only needed fund in exchange is most advisable.
3359  Economy / Gambling / Re: Has this ever happened to you in Gambling or it's just me? on: October 10, 2015, 12:12:17 PM
I only ever experience losing streaks, never winning streaks. When I win it is very occasionally and one time then back to losing.

It's why I don't really gamble that much. It's just loss after loss until every once in a while I'll hit a tiny win

No many people have shared their experience of long loosing streaks at many time. It's just based on the hash we face on a particular day. In my dice game the long loosing streaks are most common and I get practiced to that now a days.
3360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 10, 2015, 12:09:46 PM
Tomorrow have a two cricket matches

1. Ist one day match between India and South Africa - this will be a quite interesting match to watch because as of now India is very despearte to win the match and SA wants to continue their good performance in one day series as well

2. 2nd one day match between Zimbabwe and Ireland - again this match will be good to watch because both teams are almost equally strong.

But I will follow and bet on India vs South Africa as I have more knowledge and predictable players from both the team as I do not follow many of Zimbabwe players. More over I love the kick of gambling whereas no one can straight away predict the result of a game.
