OK, thanks, guys. i want to run two very good S7 with one overlocked from 600 to 650 (B5) and another from 625 to 650 (B7). B5 is already slightly overclocked from 600 to 625 and has little error, so why not? I think that each would do ~1350-1380W at the wall at 650.
test slow but sure and see what you can do. my one s-7 goes to 618 with 12.2 volts and it goes to 618 with 12.6 volts.

Maybe not the right place to post this question, but what is the max load (at the wall) 2880 W PSU can handle day in and day out? 90% of 2880W, 100%?, 110%?
I don't know but the 2 x 2000 = 4000 watt psu setup did 4080 watts for 12 hours. My issue was the weather is too hot to run. my guess is the 2880w can do 3000watts with good fans. but I have not yet setup testing for it. I think the 2x2000 breakout board is the best way to go if you want 3 units of s-7 or avalon 6's in any mixture

The day is only 2/3rd of the way done but so far we are at +34 %
my thoughts are this is bitfury putting the 175ph to 225 ph farm online it is a 50 Mega-Watt farm and it is real. SO unless it burns to the ground due to bad wiring we will get a 20% or more jump. But there is an interesting thing before new gear back in sept we had 405ph all at .5 watts or worse. It will go offline if price does not move over 500 usd. An s-3 loses money at 500 gh 400 watts at 10 cents a kwatt at a diff of 101 with the current price of 457 so the s-3 will give up the ghost next jump. there was about 60ph in s-3's So when the gets over 100 diff which it will by years end older gear will drop off.

ty Philip for your response. good idea with the fireproof blanket/noise reducing. I am waiting on a few parts to arrive but I have the majority of my set-up hooked up to my hvac ducting and utilizing the fan in the furnace to spread the heat throughout the house.
I actually do it indirectly my garage is attached and the furnace is inside the garage. So I leave my garage door to my home open. The furnace return pulls hot air from garage and moves air through the house. My home only needs to run the furnace fan unless temps drop under 45f. So 4000 watts of btc will heat my home at 45 f About 5000 watts of btc will heat my home at 35 f About 6000 watts of btc will heat my home at 25 f. At the temps of 72 f like yesterday my home overheated my house was 84 f running 4000 watts.

Can I please ask for some help here? Anyone having an issue where the webUI doesn't show any miners but it's mining? Also, once I SSH to the rig, how do I take a look at the cgminer console? How about cgminer-monitor restarting every 5 minutes? (I commented out the cgminer-monitor in crontab) Man, without being able to see any of the ASIC info or the console trying to troubleshoot this is a real problem. Anyone had any luck running these rigs using Minera?
Mon Dec 14 22:15:01 2015 cron.info crond[404]: crond: USER root pid 970 cmd /usr/bin/cgminer-monitor Mon Dec 14 22:20:01 2015 cron.info crond[404]: crond: USER root pid 1121 cmd /usr/bin/cgminer-monitor Mon Dec 14 22:25:01 2015 cron.info crond[404]: crond: USER root pid 1226 cmd /usr/bin/cgminer-monitor
Thanks!
PS. I just re-imaged clean using the image in the OP, so I'm pretty sure that isn't the problem... Restart the miners and it should come back. I have had it happen on hard power off and power up. I go to configuration page of the gui . I then set freq at 500 and change fan by 1 say 25 move it to 26 save and apply and it comes ups with both miners. This issue seems to occur with power off psu and then power on the psu

Well, the discussion goes to SPV Mining. F2Pool is improving, as I can see it, so it is fair to say the message come through and they try their best. AntPool still produce 0 Blocks. They do nothing, just counting their income.
Let's not confuse empty blocks with SPV mining. F2Pool has definitely taken steps to reduce the number of empty blocks they produce. Since macbook-air made his post: KnC - 2 of 35 are empty bw.com - 2 of 34 empty AntPool - 13 of 81 empty Eligius - 1 of 10 f2pool - 2 of 110 That's a far lower percentage than is typical for them, so whatever changes they made have produced noticeable results. Having written this, the fact remains that f2pool, AntPool, etc continue to SPV mine. Yes they all do and the forking issue remains with f2pool. But all the others have both the forking issue and the empty block issue. If we could get all spv miners to do what f2pool did about empty blocks. The forking issue would remain But maybe they can figure a way to stop the forking issue. Which could be far greater problem then the empty block issue. Is there another problem besides forks and empty blocks?

Fantastic results. How many Avalon and S7 you have running your garage now that it drove the temp up almost 20 degrees? I noticed you have fire proof blankets covering your miners, is it still that loud even thru the garage? Yes, I really like the new j4bbrwock board you reviewed. I ordered the older one but it will still serve what I need well. Can't wait to see the results on my Avalon with the Dell 750 and these 2 x 2K IBM PSU w j4bbrwock boards.
Well remember it was 72f in NJ yesterday. My home is really very well insulated due to DIY work I did from 1992 to 1999. I changed out my home from Aluminum electrical wires to copper and since I put more then 100 holes in all the walls to do it I insulated the entire home. So if you make an kind of in home heat it does not leave the house unless the weather is very cold. This 1 psu can do 17 amps so 17 x 240 = 4080 watts. the 2 x 2000 watt psu's 4080 watts = just about 14,000 btu's 1 s-7 2 avalon 6's Damn ya'll need some colder weather up there like I wish we had down here in the South as well! It was in the 80's (F) this past weekend. If you were to buy 10 miners to host at a hosting facility would you still prefer the Avalon 6, or is the S7 just better for pure hashing, and profitabilty? I have given up trying to run many Avalons with my own set up just because I can't supply enough cold air. if I had a nearby reliable hosting service would I do all s-7 or all avalon 6's. Neither I would do more s-7's and less avalon 6's . Say 7 to 3 ratio. 7 s-7's and 3 avalon 6's . Always a bit paranoid I like the idea of multiple choice in gear. If I was doing it based on price and nothing else 10 s-7's at the current prices available.

Thanks for another informative review. I didn't realize how small the DPS2000 PSU's were! I was expecting them to be as big as the 2880w power supplies. The noise of the 2880w IBM psu is starting to get to me. I'm just waiting for Finsky to get them in stock. At least I get start by getting the PSU's and fans for now.
I had a good seller on ebay he sold out I got 2 for 51.50 + 3.50 in tax or 55 total and you know me I had some coupons so I spent 49 for the 2 psu's 2 psu's = 49 2 powercords = 16 2 fans = 34 1 foam tape = free I had some but it is about 3 bucks total = 99 or 102 if you buy foam tape. then a breakout board ----- About 50 with shipping---- j4bberwock please comment on this price pcie cables ------- I prefer the 3ft 15 gauge at 4 each 30 for 120 so 99 + 50 + 120 = 269 for the ability to run 3 s-7's if you like avalon it uses less pcie cables! you only need 12 and you can run 3 avalon 6's I suspect you can do 4 avalon 6's on this psu if you run at low volt setting links for psu+ powercords+ fans + foam tape http://www.ebay.com/itm/252144440397?http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GMPVAK6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001JKNMBE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00http://www.amazon.com/3M-Scotch-Mounting-5-Inch-75-Inch/dp/B00004Z498/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1450190254&sr=8-1&keywords=double+side+foam+tapeSo if you are doing avalon 6's and had 3 evga 1300 running 3 of them that would be 600 bucks if you go the route of the 2x 2000 watt break out board you are 102--- psu's, fans, power cords, foam tape 50 --- break out board and fan plate------------------- j4bbrwock or finksy can confirm exact price 64 --- 16 high end 15 gauge cables from finksy this is enough for 4 avalon 6's 216 usd and this allows for 4 avalon 6's on an underclock to 3100 or 3200gh or run three avalon 6's overclocked to 3950gh 2

Awesome work Phillip!! Wow very very nice HASH RATE. We'll wait for more of your data to determine the sweet spot for both OC rate and stability. 3.9TH is very nice! Curious to know how many watts it's pulling at 12.3 / 12.4 Volts like you're doing for this Hash rate since you have the total wattage # with the S7 included.
I did the avalon pair got 11 amps I did all the units got 17 amps so the avalon pair most likely is using 11 amps x 240 volts = 2640 watts to give 7900gh = .33 watts a gh. at the wall and the s-7 is using 6 amps x 240 volts = 1440 watts for 5000gh = .288 watts a gh. I have heat issues as the garage was 88f as the temps outside are simply way too warm for perfect testing. I had to downclock last night to cool the bedroom off to sleep. I love the product that finsky + j4bbrwock is selling soon.

Would be nice to get enough people for a consistent 200-300TH
I am sure that would speed block finding up
I have to agree it has been a long time. This is a good pool but with under 75th getting blocks is tough.

Phillip is doing an excellent review on the 2K IBM PSU with higher voltage for both Avalon and S7 so really excited to see the results on whether he's able to keep these Avalon at the 3.7-4K TH stable with the 12.7 Voltage.
I got bored with the middle volt setting of 12.23volts and I am now testing 12.56 volts my garage is 88f and outside temp is 63 f normal temps outside at night in NJ for dec are 42f. so 8 minutes at 12.56 volts and i am doing 3950 for each avalon 6. Pretty impressive overclock. Thanks for sharing. Do you happen to have the wattage used during that test? And it's getting cold here to. It's going to get down to 40F here tonight. I'm starting to need less big fan's running which is a good thing. A little less overhead. 17 amps at 240 Volts = 4080 watts it is running one s-7 and two Avalon sixes total hash is 12800 gh so 4080/12800 = 0.31875 watts pr gh the pair of sixes

So sad to hear that. =( How much for these new board version? Looks awesome and I very excited to see Phillip hitting the higher HASH rate with these PSU's higher voltage! CAn't wait for the boost on my Avalon.
@Phillip, how come the voltage looks different 12 and 12.2 Volt? Also the hash rate drop to the normal 3.5TH vs 3.7+ per Avalon probably due to the lower voltage. Can we see the Hash rate for the Avalon 6 after you crank it back to 12.7V again. Did you see any performance increase for the S7?
Going to run over night at 12.2 setting Right now out side temps are 62 f the garage is hot. In the morning we may be lower in temps I can then go higher. As for the s-7 I had the evga 1600 t2 a 400 usd atx psu at current setting
