I am planning on porting Syscoin over to merge mine SHA256 rather than SCRYPT, would it be possible to add this coin to your list of merge minable coins? I am doing it on latest code base BTC 0.12 core so it is optimized and is basically a decentralized marketplace onchain. If we get a pool I will go ahead and code it up otherwise will stick with LTC merge mining. THanks!
If it's SHA256 merge mine capable, is not too resource hungry and has some sort of usage then it can be added.
Yes tons of usage (decentralized marketplace, integrated aliases to the core, digital certificates, 2 of 3 escrow system linked to the marketplace, encrypted messaging) all with GUI's built-in to the wallet. I'm redeveloping based on latest core so it will be nice and clean. By default the core is set to use 0.5GB memory max, with a few hundred to use for the in memory DB's for the syscoin services. It uses only 25 megs on startup at genesis block.
I'm currently putting up a testnet to merge mine with bitcoin testnet, so all will be tested before I will get the release to you.
Cheers!
btw in my past life I was also the Devcoin dev so I can also upgrade that one to latest core if it ever gives you problems.
