Check out TON coin i kinda have more confidence on this project than ravencoin, also Ergo is a better one too it all depends on the project use cases but Ethereum classic isn't on my watchlist

Hi there,
I found a RTX 3070 ti which has no mention of LHR in the box or the white label on the side. Even the serial number has no KL or KR at the end as the serial ends with all numbers.I believe first 4 digits identify the year and week of the manufacturing date and according to the serial number it is SN2145 which is 2021/Nov. Given this is a new card could it be a LHR card ?
Thanks,
They are all LHR. Choose the most profitable algorithm https://whattomine.com/gpus/62-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-ti?cost=0.1

If I insure the house against fire, and then forget to turn off the iron, then the insurance company will not pay for the burned down house. Then that's a crap insurance and legislators in your country should look into it. Most fires are started by negligence, if insurances didn't cover that, then there would be no point in having an insurance ! Then this is a very good opportunity for scammers to make money. Even if such insurances exist, the presence of the insured's fault will greatly reduce insurance payments. In Russia, in order to receive an insurance payment, you need to prove the damage in court, otherwise the payments will be minimal.

If you like mining then don't sell the graphics card. You will get your investment back in a few years if your electricity is not too expensive. If you need money now, then sell while the market still outstrips the sellers. In a few years, you will earn money on a used video card.

|
Who buys used graphic cards without testing it themselves? I would only buy used graphic cards if the seller is nearby and if they can allow taking the heat sink apart, the first GPU I got for gaming was used and the seller scammed me because the GPU was repaired already and it doesn't lasted before it failed to work
Under such conditions, no one will sell you video cards. If you buy video cards, then you ask for access to a mining farm where you can see mining statistics and overclocking of video cards. This is the maximum that they will provide you if you buy video cards from friends or colleagues from the same telegram group. Another option is to buy through a guarantor, but this is 5-7% more expensive for you due to the services of the guarantor and additional transportation costs.

Forget TON no other coin will be as profitable as ETH and if ETH goes down many miners will switch their rigs to available coins which will result in higher mining difficulty so it won't matter anymore
Trolls think will be another coin that will save them from bad choices they have made hehe, even with eth bear market was negative profit from october 2018 to july 2020, now imagine without eth ehhe. Let them keep doing stupid decisions and blame other factors, trolls will never learn. In 2013 ltc got as high as 50 usd and then crashed to less than a dollar ehhe, that was funny, in 2018 eth got as high as 1440 usd and then crashed to 80 usd. The real trolls are those that sold their rigs in 2018 because it's not profitable anymore, not blaming those that have high electricity bill but those who always look at coins in USD value, holders are real winners when bear market is alive, like I've said only those with high electricity bill have the right to get rid of their rigs When the price dropped to $400, it was very unprofitable to mine Ethereum. If the miner bought video cards with borrowed money or had expensive electricity, then it was better to stop mining. Because all the profit was spent on expenses. In 2019, the price was approaching $100, then no one thought about mining at all.

I don't really understand why to use this adapter on a gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3P motherboard? Do you want to connect 6-7 video cards with this adapter? I'm sure this is not the best idea, because you will not build a reliable mining farm in this way.
|
|
|
Not going to happen, I believe that ETH Devs will postpone the pos algorithm again but mining will still be fairly profitable because crypto is now a better home of investment for many more investors, the demand is like no other so GPUs won't be cheap any time soon
I would not hope for this if you want to invest in mining now.

All 30xx with "ti" are LHR.
You are right Wotan wipeout I never knew this before and I went ahead to buy a rtx3070ti not knowing it's also an LHR GPU but later I had no choice than to keep using it for mining, it makes no sense to sell since the box is already opened, thanks to NBminer now 60MH is possible on 3070ti which is now equivalent to 3060ti The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti can deliver 60 megahash, but the power consumption will be around 200 watts. This is the main disadvantage of this video card, and also the increased power consumption causes the video card to overheat and require better cooling.

Did you try running the clock to -1004 mhz (on Linux)? or -502 mhz on Windows.
You can also flash a Palit or MSI bios on them (at your own risk). That way you can get between 34 - 37 mh/s, depending on silicon lottery. O i thought you were talking about GTX1660 Supers. nevermind this then.
This makes no difference on hiveOS using Trex miner or you have a specific miner software that works with this -1004 MHz? I don't see any difference using this settings in hiveOS for my 1660 and 3060ti they are both hynix based what am I doing wrong? Take a screenshot of your settings in Hive OS. This will make it easier for you to help. When you bought these video cards, did the old owner show you the hashrate or not? The best way is to use the settings of the previous miner if you don't want problems.

Its easier to get bad GPUs this days that's why I always avoid used GPU, there is no way to tell if the owner have do some soldering work on the GPU or not, some people failed to use the GPUs right, they push them to their limits and sell to unknown buyers
This is not true. Most sellers test the GPUs beforehand because they dont want bad feedback. They reflash the stock firmware and usually run a benchmark to make sure the GPUs works in games at least. GPUs don't have any mechnical components like cars so they are fairly reliable. And how many people do soldering work on their GPUs? Almost nobody. The only type of work done on a GPU might be the fan replacements. Usually when something frys on the GPUs they throw it out instead of soldering parts on it to fix it. For real? I don't buy this crap idea of yours, buying used GPU is all about luck I've done this before and it doesn't favour me, got 3 Rx Vega 56 and two died months later, while I opened the card up I saw that many components have been replaced on the card already, soldering here and there, one goes up in flame and the other just stopped working Such video cards need to be bought from trusted sellers or only with a check to make sure that the video cards have not been repaired. Luck is an abstract concept, you need to have experience with used computer hardware. Otherwise you will be deceived.

64-bit memory interface and 4 GB of memory will not make this video card popular for mining. I will definitely look at the tests of this video card in mining, but I did not plan to buy this video card. 6600xt is now very expensive, maybe the release of 6500xt will reduce the price in stores for other video cards.

GPUs: 6x ASUS TUF RTX 3080 Since 3080s are low in stock, is it feasible to replace the 6x 3080s with either 3060 Tis or 3070s instead? If so, would you advise that I change any of the other parts that I proposed below? Thank you.
Biostar TB250-BTC Pro Intel Celeron G3930 1x 8GB DDR4 120GB Kingston SSD Ubit 6-Pack Ver. 103C 6 GPU Veddha Frame 2x EVGA P2 1200 Watts 6x 8-Pin to Dual 8-Pin Dual PSU Adapter
RTX 3080 graphics cards are very hot and should be installed in a good closed case. With the RTX 3060 and RTX 3070, you won't have any overheating problems and you can use the cheapest open case. You can save money if you buy less powerful power supplies, for example, 850-1000 watts. You just need to check that 8 pin connectors are enough.

a4000 / $ 1175 / 60mh / 115 watts looks like a better buy. The more powerful the video card, the more it costs, but I think this is a bad trend. How much do you have a Radeon RX 6800XT? They perfectly mine TON and Ethereum in Dual Mining.
Just as powerful as a RTX3060ti which produce 61MH on 120watts that's pretty close if you ask me, honestly this is all good you can find other alternatives if you can't get your hands on 3060ti, GPUs are getting more interesting A colleague of mine is selling a non-LНR RTX3060ti for $ 1,700. These video cards have been mined for less than a year and have no warranty. I would buy them for $ 1200, but my friend doesn't sell at that price. And every day I lose the desire to buy, I have already decided to wait for the end of Ethereum mining.

Please help me in starting my first crypto mining. I am using unmineable application to mine BNB coin and have added binance address with MeMO. But when i start application to mine it says: "Eth: Connected to ethash pool etchash.unmineable.com:3333 (178.128.60.172) Eth: Connection closed by the pool" and then keeps repeating the same. I have system Specs: 1 GTX 960 4 GB graphic card Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2670 0 @ 2.60GHz 2.60 GHz (2 processors) Combine 16 cores and 32 threads. 24 GB RAM 120 SSD and 240 HDD
It is not possible to mine Ethereum on 4GB video cards. Wah has a good computer and a very weak video card. Read carefully the instructions for setting up mining for Ethereum Classic, or write your bat file. You can hide wallets. Or mine Ethereum Classic on any other pool https://miningpoolstats.stream/ethereumclassic

I read on news a day ago that someone solved a BTC block with few terahash ASIC miner, I m suggesting it's an old ASIc miner this person made 6.5BTC and that's a whopping 200,000$+, it's stated that this is a 1 in a 10,000 chance so that's some pretty good luck, who says that solo mining is bad don't know how lucrative finding a block can be anyways, the choice is yours if you want profits day to day then join a pool and get paid daily but if you are an adventurer it's no crime to try other things out
This is great luck https://www.btc.com/btc/block/718124«This is fun. Winning full Bitcoin block rewards with only 0.000073% of the current total hashrate. Either extraordinary luck or persistent proof-of-WORK, or both.» https://twitter.com/wolfiezhao/status/1480915319887704070Right words!

Is 200watt with 47MH an efficient mining in today's crypto world? Someone wants to sell some Rx Vega 56 for me but I have my doubts because
1. They are power hungry 2. They aren't that rugged unless you buying them new
What advice can you give me on this, though the price are cheap since they are used
I would advise you to calculate your profit for the next 4 months https://whattomine.com/coins/151-eth-ethashYou should understand that this card is very good for Ethereum mining, but it will give little profit on other algorithms. If your price is more than $ 0.1 per kilowatt, then I would not recommend buying it. An exception if, according to the calculator, it pays off more than 80% in 4 months.

The word free electricity should come from green energy not grid, if you are still using grid to mine then sorry that's not free electricity that's stealing, someone have to be responsible for that electricity bill somehow, I mine freely because I've invested lot of money on green energy and that's what I called free electricity
Solar power will not be a good solution in all countries. You have free electricity during the day, but what do you do at night? In my country, it is possible to install a special energy meter and sell surplus electricity, but at night I will pay 2 times more for the electricity consumed.

Mining profit is way down today, it would be stupid to ask way ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) but my main concern is when will GPUs flooded the market again? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I want some cheap graphic cards for long term mining, just added 4000 watts solar panel days ago, I want ravencoin rig, ergo and conflux rig separately As long as Ethereum mining works, you will not see good prices for video cards. Buy either cheap old video cards or old ASICs to use your free electricity. I don’t know how much you pay for electricity at night, though.
