I knew the op can create altcoin conveniently because he had made several coins though he belongs to the other side of the world ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) increase the volume by x2 x3 ^^ i doesnt "promote" any Service, not in the past and not here. but ++85 Coins on yobit as paid Jobs/coin Creation Service is a realistic number without counting my own Projects / Hobbys :-) I know you are very popular in yobit and most of the s**t coin there were made by you (my apology) but how do you plan to select the winner of this your free offer; you are yet to answer that. He already selected the number and put it in an encrypted text file. I suppose that since he already knows the number, he could give it to a "friend." I'm not going to raise a stink about it, since all I have spent is my time, which is idle time anyway since I am posting here. ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif)

I agree but in their defense, it was posted in these forums multiple times prior. Considering you're reading the thread, you should have seen it as well. I'm also brand new to Byteball, but I actually follow what's said, so that's how I knew about it.
Who has time to sift through over 500 pages of BCT posts? The information is not clear in this wiki either. https://byteroll.com/airdrop These resources should be updated to be more clear that it is the 1st block after the full moon, not right on the full moon. So, instead of reading, people post the same questions over and over again to bloat the thread. They [byteball] can't say the first block, cause what if there is an issue and it's 2 blocks. Then all the dumpers would complain again. So, instead, it clearly says..... "In the 7th round, which is scheduled for the full moon of July (July 9, 2017 at 04:07 UTC)" It is SCHEDULED. Bitcoin did not solve a block at that instant. It was solved 13 mins later at: 04:20:40. I am 'scheduled' to be at work daily at 8AM, but I never get there at exactly 8AM. If the site said that it was AT the full moon, then there is reason to complain, but so would all the people that transferred bitcoin seconds prior with 'unconfirmed' balances and hope to get paid on different addresses at the same time. Ranlo - Only just found out about Byteball. I figured you would know about all the various coins. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) All they need to do is add a few words that make it clear that the snapshot is of the next block solved after the full moon. It's not redundant information and gets rid of any ambiguity. Also, if I want to read 500 pages, I'll read a good novel, not a BCT thread. Furthermore, people coming into this thread and posting questions, even if they are redundant, should be welcomed. It demonstrates that there is new interest in the coin. I think it bodes well when people are friendly and answer the questions rather than tell them "google it" or "read 500 pages of this thread to find your answer." How would you feel if you called customer service and the rep on the other end told you to "google it" or "read the 500 page instruction manual" and then hung up?

I knew the op can create altcoin conveniently because he had made several coins though he belongs to the other side of the world ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) My question now is; what are the determinant of the number to be chosen, will you use random.org publicly or what? what happened if you have only 1 applicant. The OP has available for download an encrypted text file that contains the winning number. I already downloaded it. https://mega.nz/#!PsdwybwS!Tddc8hiAhqe-AHXQ95c_k-FVdiZoyXjD9h_zQAdZUHw

looks like 6000+ GBytes have been dumped since snapshot was taken
Don't worry as usual it happening right after this distribution big wallet holders dumped immediately without any mercy once this distribution will done than we have chance to get a stable price and more steady growth till than have fun. Any big dumpers left? I'm waiting for my bid to be filled and I suck as a trader since I'm not patient. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Edit: Just got filled this minute. Didn't set it low enough. Oh well.

so this won't end up being deleted as a "giveaway" thread.
i dont think, that this will happend ^^ expect any Coin Creation Provider or guys who get scared about loosing a few Dollars start bitching around I would think any Coin Creation Providers would be watching this thread closely so they can PM the winner right away with additional services. After all, there are announcements to write, web pages to design, nodes to set up etc etc. They can also PM the losers with "discounted" offers. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I'm planning on perhaps purchasing coins on Thursday or Friday when I get my next Steem Power distribution. Should the price still be cheap then or do I need to part with some of my BTC now?
I can see it rising towards Thursday or Friday maybe back to .3,the 1-3 days after the airdrop usually see the biggest sell off Well, from the experience of previous distributions the price usually collapse by up to 30% right after a distribution. A lot of people just trying to make some fast profit and sell immediately after they got the tokens. In the week after the distribution price slowly recovers. This is actually the best time to buy. From beginning to end of second week the price going up again until the next distribution. It is like a circle. But does not have to mean that it will be so in the future.
OK, I moved over some of my BTC to Bittrex. The Bitcoin Mempool is pretty low now, so I set my fees to the lowest that my Electrum Wallet will let me without using the console. Will see how this goes. Looks like I already got 1 confirmation for my BTC. Hope everyone sending bitcoin sets their fees low. We need to get those fees with that coin back down to earth. although I like how the fees are set low on Byteball.

No, they are totally separate blockchains. To claim your BTX, you must go to the claiming service mentioned in the OP and follow the instructions. The snapshot was taken of the Bitcoin blockchain on block 463604, which happened on 04/26/2017. You must claim with an address that you can make a signature with that had Bitcoins at the moment of the snapshot.
i know they are separate blockchains, but don't they use same address format for pub/priv key? Yes they do. However, sending BTC to your BTX address will not result in you getting BTX, nor vice versa. Even if you import the private keys of BTC wallet into BTX and vise versa. All that will happen is that you will spend fees moving coins to yourself. BTC coins and BTX coins have separate Coinbase hashes and separate transaction hashes associated with them. Edit:Maybe I am misunderstanding what you want to accomplish. If you want to know if you can use the same keys for a paper wallet/cold storage. Yes you can, I believe. You may want to test a very trivial amount of BTX to verify. Just know that if you do that, if your cold storage device(s) becomes compromised, you risk both BTC and BTX. Also, your anonymity is somewhat less because if someone knows your public key for one, they know your public key for the other.

Unfortunately I sold all mine awhile back before all these drops but still have on notify and happy with my small profit. I still like the coin but it shows you what the welfare system does to people. He got this or I didn't get that. Cry Cry Cry.
I know. Like a brat crying because Johnny down the road got an X-box from Santa and they only got a Hungry Hungry Hippos game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDie8goaBDU#t=01m13s

'Get your free Byteball! Just upload a picture of yourself holding your passport!'
Anybody else find that odd, creepy, and completely at odds with any notion of anonymity?
Why do this? I do not understand at all.
What are you talking about? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

Hello I am trying to claim some BTX but the form doesn't seem to work right after you enter your address and get told your snapshot amount. What do I put into the two blank spots below? I've entered my BTC address then BTX and that doesn't appear to work right.
You need to sign a message "BTX" using the BTC address that you put in. In the first box you will copy and paste the "signature" that you generated, and in the second box you will put in your bitcoin address again. What BTC wallet are you using?

Hello Byteballers. Im new here.
Can I use my bittrex byteball adress and link it through the wallet transition bot to my private btc wallet to receive the airdrop? I just found out bittrex has a withdrawl limit of 1 btc which means I cant get all my gbytes onto my private byteball wallet.
If you are willing to enable 2FA, that limit will go up to 3 BTC. And no, you can't use your bittrex address.

just to confirm--you can send BTX to BTC address? and you can import BTC private key into BTX client to retrieve BTX sent to that address?
No, they are totally separate blockchains. To claim your BTX, you must go to the claiming service mentioned in the OP and follow the instructions. The snapshot was taken of the Bitcoin blockchain on block 463604, which happened on 04/26/2017. |
|
Also can you link bittrex wallet by micropayment from the btc address and give your bittrex gbyte address?
No, when Bittrex sends out coins on your behalf, it most likely is not going to be from coins still in your deposit address.

Dev, Any plan to increase the block reward. The hashing is going down and pretty soon it will make no sense mining this coin. Please do something for us who are mining.
Wait until block 14112. The difficulty should adjust downward to something more reasonable.

How to mine this coin by nVidia GPUs? Is it minable??
Thanks!
You can figure out how to become a witness and share 1/12 of the transaction fees for anyone who uses your hub. Good luck! https://gitlab.com/snippets/1548253
