3361  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: June 11, 2016, 11:46:07 AM
10 bitcoin is such a big and good amount of money to have it is about 5,800 so you can easily do whatever you like with it and even you can make multiple investments in different things to diversify even.

if i had 10 bitcoin i would start a business of my own. maybe even start a good casino with some of my friends who are good at programming and design.
3362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ? How To Respond To Someone Who Is Anti Bitcoin ? on: June 11, 2016, 11:42:50 AM
some people should really be ignored because it doesn't matter how much you try to tell them about their mistakes they would never listen and will always continue in their own wrong ways and will try to convince others about their wrong ways too.
3363  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: June 10, 2016, 04:18:18 PM
you should buy right now and stop hesitating to buy bitcoin and then put the coins away in cold storage and never look back for at least a couple of months.

if you don't want to do this you should have some kind of watch over the price in order to buy if it suddenly went up to +$600 overnight because it happens the same way it went up from 470 to +$500
3364  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: June 10, 2016, 04:14:13 PM
I would divide it into 4 parts , use 1 part for trading  , 2 for gambling ( sports betting), 3 for providing loans , 4 as BTC investment .
I know its not entirely safe , but i think i would do this to double the money Smiley

what is your number four (btc investment) that is the question of this topic. there is no good bitcoin investment that can provide you with reliable profit especially for such a large amount of money ($100,000)
and two of your suggestions are also bad
gambling is the worst because of losses and it is so much worse if you want to do it with large amounts of money
and loans is also super risky especially if you want to do it again with large amount of money. it is mostly suitable for smaller amounts.
3365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still trust this rally? on: June 10, 2016, 04:06:34 PM
i have been seeing this exact topic for over a year although it has been created a couple of days ago the only difference between this and previous ones is the price in the first post or title.

just change "break $600" to 500,400 and so on and change the drop "down to 400" to 200 and the rest is history!
3366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Worldwide! on: June 10, 2016, 03:55:51 PM
Are there countries that do not accept Bitcoin? I mean no idea regarding it. What do you think will happen to Bitcoin 5years from now? I'm not asking you to be a psychic to see the future. I'm asking about your idea about Bitcoin's future. TIA!

there is a wikipedia page about legal state of bitcoin in different countries here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country
if that is what you are looking for.
but if you are looking for countries that haven't even heard about bitcoin i don't think there is any because news about bitcoin has even reached the third world countries and they are even using it even if it is only using faucets.
3367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: June 10, 2016, 03:50:23 PM
LTC bagholders always amuse me. Remind me again why do we need LTC?

the same reason we need all of the other altcoins!
To Make More Bitcoin

and in case of litecoin here, it is one of the oldest altcoins which could hold its marketcap in the top 10 coins forever and never went down.

on top of that Chinese love this coins and are always pumping it.
3368  Other / Meta / Re: For Fucks sake, too many eth topics in altcoin section on: June 10, 2016, 03:45:44 PM
you should have visited here in the beginning of the hype before they pumped the ethereum to the first moon. everywhere on the forum that you looked on all the boards you could see an eth topic shilling to increase the pump. this is nothing in comparison Cheesy
3369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you spend your gambling winnings on ? on: June 10, 2016, 03:40:21 PM
i don't spend my winnings on anything. since we are talking about bitcoin gambling here any gambling winning is also in form of bitcoin so if i win anything i will only add it to my bitcoin wallet and hold it for the future and enjoy the price rise on my winnings which is a double win for me.
3370  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: June 10, 2016, 03:36:10 PM
in general i use bitcoin as both an investment and as a currency but from time to time it changes based on the situation Smiley

for example these days that bitcoin is so hot and rising i only consider it as an investment and try not to spend it as currency but when things are settled down i use it as currency more.
3371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving on: June 10, 2016, 03:31:49 PM
It very close to the bitcoin halving. Do any big BTC holders have any intention of buying something with their BTC? Are any going to continue holding. One of my friends is planning on buying a phone. He has been storing up for a long time.
Buying a phone? i don't think it will cost more than 1 bitcoin to buy one good functional smartphone even at current price if your friend is not planning to buy iphone s5 or so  Grin

If bitcoin ever touches 10000$ per coin i can buy a nice car with what i have stored in my paper wallet. Cool

yeah, that is what i was thinking.
his friend should really start looking into some more expensive phones if he is waiting for the rise to buy it.

also i am interested to know where is he buying his phone if he is paying for it with bitcoin? (it doesn't matter if he wants to sell bitcoin to buy with fiat.)
3372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just another example of Martingale lose on: June 10, 2016, 03:28:48 PM
losing in martingale is always hurtful and losing 3.8 bitcoin on top of that, he must have lost his mind after this loss.
this kind of loss in martingale is always more hurtful because you play all day long and win small amounts but when you hit the losing streak your losses grow so big and so fast that you lose all your money and all your winnings.
3373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what fun in GAMBLING? on: June 10, 2016, 03:24:32 PM
If you bet a little bit on sports, you can make the game much more intense and exciting.

I've found that betting small amounts on sports can be very fun, especially if you watch the game with friends, as betting a small amount will make the game exciting, and will engage you more. However, if you bet high amounts and you lose, you'll be sad and not enjoy the experience. I like betting small amounts on sports games.
Yeah, it is very different atmosphere, when you watching some sports match and betting on it, it is so exciting, especially when your friend betting the opposite of your bet. There is nothing fun except win your bet and see your friend losing Cheesy

yeah, always PVP betting is so much better than betting against the computer PVE(?)
you get to do a lot of shit talking and have a lot of fun all day long with the other person while betting against them which is always fun if you do it with a friend.
3374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling crying thread on: June 10, 2016, 03:19:33 PM
if all the users start to post their whining stories here this topic is going to be a thousand pages and even more than the wall observer topic in the speculation section Smiley

gambling is losing and we are all experiencing it, i think we shouldn't cry about it if we can't handle it.

it is important to invest what you can afford to lose so you don't cry after losing it.
3375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Stops Operating in Turkey, Online Payment Sector Turns to Bitcoin on: June 10, 2016, 03:15:05 PM
this news makes me very happy mostly because i hate paypal and i hope they stop operating in all the countries. i mean the countries stop letting paypal even operating in their country before that so people can start to look around and find better solutions.
3376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the banks?! on: June 10, 2016, 03:11:38 PM
bitcoin wallet is supposed to be the bank for you. and it does everything a bank does with the help of miners.

i believe if there is a bank for bitcoin then it is defeating the main purpose of bitcoin which is decentralization and getting rid of the banks.
3377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: June 09, 2016, 12:03:07 PM
When there is in need of staying anonymous for whatever reason with the intention of playing gambling,  then you must go with the bitcoin. This is way, bitcoin be the future of gambling world.
Most of my friends like to gamble using bitcoin are because its anonymity,  no need to stake our real name to open an account in bitcoin gambling site,  we just need money-deposited and withdraw it as you like.

I have invited over 5 friends to gamble using bitcoin,  and now they are happy to keep using it. They said this is awesome thing can change gambling world!

i totally agree with this.

and i am agreeing based on my similar experience.
i have been talking about bitcoin with my friends for some time now but some of them were not interested in bitcoin until they saw gambling bitcoin online and they became super interested so they came to me asking about bitcoin and how to start.

so i guess in a way gambling and the anonymity of bitcoin is helping it grow more than anything else right now.
3378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 09, 2016, 11:58:05 AM
actually giving up gambling is not that hard either.

of course it would be different for different people based on their personality and how strong they are.

but in general it is just a game and if you are really losing a lot of money in gambling you will have to stop at some point and if you have no money to gamble with then you will be forced to stop so it would be easy to stop with no funds at hand.
3379  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2016, 11:54:12 AM
halving is all good for bitcoin. you may think miners will not like it but it is good for bitcoin itself , it is preventing max number of bitcoin from always growing endlessly.

In a few years, when BitCoin halves a number of times, and the rewards for mining are so low, well people still be mining?
I hope by that point, BitCoin will be more valuable, so even though the reward it low, profits could be high.

bitcoin is growing so the price will rise with that and miners if someday because of many halving can not profit the fees will change based on the price.
3380  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: June 09, 2016, 11:50:38 AM
So 1 million divided by 10 BTC. The price has to be $100,000 each bitcoin. The timespan is long enough for me to safely to say that this kind of price level will be achieved by the time.

Simply because fiat currencies depreciate over time instead of appreciate. And bitcoin appreciates.

if the price double on each halving it can double only other 3 times before 2030, this is not enough for 100k i think, but it can be enough for 10k, but with only 10 btc you will not be millionare

i believe that a lot of us who have invested in bitcoin always have this dream of becoming rich from out investment, or at least this dream of making a very big profit.

but i doubt if anybody who is logical enough thinks he can become a millionaire just by holding 10BTC, a simple math can prove such  a thing impossible.
