AFAIK, Twitch has a stricter policy for recorded video; for example, copyrighted songs are "allowed*" on stream but must be cut out from the recorded video.
*It's not allowed actually, but it is more difficult to detect copyrighted stuff on the fly when streaming.
I am not familiar with Twitch so I have a question. Do you mean there is no option for recorder to store their video for themselves? Even they record it and store it offline on their account only.

I got troubles with Youtube when they upgraded their ToS and videos are checked very careful to detect any copyrights violations. Even there is no commercial compromise behind a video.
3382  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why twitter account suspended mostly on: December 31, 2020, 06:03:56 AM
About suspended accounts (Twitter's Help center)

You know what you did so if you did not break their rules, let file your appeal and they will look at it then lift up suspensions on your accounts if they see reasons to accept your appeal.

If you did break their rules, the odds to get acceptance for your appeal is almost zero. Accept it and move on. With your descriptions, I think you broke their rule with one of your accounts. After a suspension on that account, they linked some other accounts of yours and suspended all. Suspensions are on person, not on accounts I think so.
3383  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Resistance From $30K-$40K? on: December 31, 2020, 02:35:41 AM
I was watching someone on youtube. What I got was that if BTC hits $30K , there should be no resistance (I assume this means less resistance that previously) to get to $40K.
A price (price A) is only called as resistance if it is reached at least one time. After that, price will move up or down around that price and if the temp price is higher than price A, it is considered as support. If a temp price is lower than price A, it is considered as resistance.

There is no resistance higher than $29,300 that is the all time high of bitcoin 3 hours ago. Now, you can call the cap at $29,300 is a resistance.

Yeah, really hard to say how much of US population really holds bitcoin or have been using bitcoin. There are a lot of surveys out there, but I think the sample data is too small to grasp, so it could be more. And as we all know, US market is huge,  but they are very strict, even some gambling websites I know restrict US citizens.
Bitcoin is a Demographic Mega-Trend: Data Analysis

USA is the leading nation and if bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are surviving and growing in the nation, it is only good for crypto market globally. If in the strictest nation, cryptocurrencies are not banned or destroyed, they are fine in rest of the world.

The growth of crypto companies and more products from them in the USA. are positive contributors for the market.

The USA has 1966 nodes or 17.62% of all bitcoin nodes with 11159 total nodes. Global bitcoin nodes distribution and Countries chart

Quote
Despite the bear market, the data shows that Bitcoin awareness, familiarity, perception, conviction, propensity to purchase and ownership all increased/improved significantly

The results highlight that Bitcoin is a demographic mega-trend led by younger age groups.

Ultimately, Bitcoin is a demographic mega-trend: Younger demographics are leading in terms of Bitcoin awareness, familiarity, perception, conviction, propensity to purchase, and ownership rates.
3385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are current sending fees of btc? on: December 30, 2020, 11:12:40 AM
I use Johoe's Bitcoin Mempool Statistics daily. When you combine it with the number of transaction per block, you could make the perfect calculations
On the jochen-hoenicke.de website, you are provided with three charts and you can combine the top and bottom charts (Unconfirmed transaction count (mempool) and Mempool size in MB) to get a fee you can use.

Temporarily, you can get very quick confirmation with 2 sat/vbyte as the mempool is falling and almost touching the 1 sat/vbyte. With a few days left for the holidays, I think mempool will be cleared more and unconfirmed transactions with 1 sat/vbyte will be confirmed.
3386  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SEC Knocking on a projects door means the end? on: December 30, 2020, 10:26:51 AM
Whenever SEC goes after a crypto project will the project die? I'm seeing what's currently happening to XRP due to lawsuit and I want to know if all the projects that the SEC hunted for in the past died? If yes can you mention one or two projects? Thank you
Not completely die if a project is under SEC's lawsuit is an active project and their team won't abandon project shortly after that.

However, the USA is a big nation in crypto market as well as in global economy and financial market. That means any terrible decisions from SEC on one project can create FUD and that project will lose interests from community very quickly. Capital will be withdrawn from that project and price will have free fall time. As being said, free fall does not mean a penalty death, it is temporary and the project can rally after that. There are other nations on the planet still accept that project and trades will keep going.

It is only matter of massive interests and accepted price on market will fall down a lot.
3387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: OKCoin suspend XRP trading and deposits (after Coinbase announcement) on: December 30, 2020, 05:51:47 AM
XRP won't be delisted from all crypto exchanges. Only US exchanges will do suspension, delist on XRP. On the market, there are many cryptocurrency still have a good life without trading pairs on US exchanges. I don't say the lawsuit, suspension, delist don't and won't affect the price of Ripple on market. However people are over panicly reacted to the drama on XRP.

When their minds cools down, the drama is cooled down, price of XRP will recover. It is too optimistic if saying XRP will recover to the price before its free fall but it is not impossible task. Especially, it is possible in a crazy market like crypto.
3388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is the MAXIMUM time you are willing to wait on crypto-exchange... on: December 29, 2020, 05:29:48 PM
1. 1 day or less
2. 3 days
3. 5-7 days
4. 14 days
5. 30 days or more
Not your keys, not your coins and on exchanges, you don't hold your keys. If you are able to download, install a wallet for your coin, you should store your coin in a wallet on your devices. When you see price to sell your coins on market, make deposit, sell them and withdraw funds immediately when your sell order is filled completely.

Store your coins on exchanges is always bad to worst. It is worst if you store your coins on shit exchanges that I believe many newbies do when they want to sell shitcoins on shit exchanges.

3390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Get merit for quality content. on: December 29, 2020, 12:57:29 PM
I wasn't hoping to get more merit by creating this thread, I just wanted to help other newbies, you are completely wrong. I realized my mistake, and based on the advice of other users, I will stop spamming and flooding this thread
Actually, you did not make any mistake if you understand how merit system works and how to use your sendable merit in a good way.

I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
 - Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
 - Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.
To know how to merit other users in a good way, you need to understand how difficult you have to fight for your earned merits. When you understand it, you will know which posts are good in quality to send your sendable merit to.

The topic like this is controversial as it makes readers feel you are begging for merit. If you do not, ignore it and keep going. See you at higher rank and I will watch your progress. If you are a good member, me or others will give you help at right time to rank up.
3391  Other / Meta / Re: What to do with posts like this? on: December 29, 2020, 12:48:15 PM
Lately, I often see some members write something on the topic of Bitcoin in their threads, and then the topic turns into some altcoin. Given that we have altcoins board it is logical that such discussions should take place there, but what to do in case we have something like this?
Not only seeding altcoins in Bitcoin discussion board but the user spams with similar speculation topics. You can very easily see it by visiting his post, topic history.

Does it make sense to report a post like this because it’s not completely on the wrong board?
Report for sure but I'd prefer to report to temp ban that user. I know one report on one spam topic won't cause a temp ban but if the user does it many times, a temp ban is possibly applicable.
3392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whales or institutes do not stop their bitcoin buying on: December 28, 2020, 02:54:11 PM
This is really one thing worth discussing, because the rules of the game have changed in favor of the big players, and to the detriment of the small ones. While BTC was relatively cheap it didn’t interest most of those interested today, but it didn’t really interest the average Joe too much. Now there is interest from everyone, only the average Joe looks at the price of BTC with great wonder, and it has become too expensive for him - while wealthy investors have no problem paying 1 BTC more than $30k if we look at the premium prices happening at Grayscale.

The higher the price goes up, the more interest the big fish will show - because big fish are attracted to big bait.
How the Ripple lawsuit and appeal ends will be very interesting for crypto market. If Ripple fails with their appeal (I think so) the capital in Ripple will switch to bitcoin and a few top altcoins. More than $13,2 million will be available on the market. This capital is more than two-thirds of Grayscale investment in bitcoin.

Ripple: 487409 BTC (that will change with Ripple appeal result)
Grayscale's total holding: 607274 BTC. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5256529.msg55932167#msg55932167
3393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: With kyc i get better coins ?? Like usdt ? on: December 28, 2020, 05:24:38 AM
With KYC, you only ruin your life but without KYC it does not mean you are safe from tracking. Exchanges and browsers can track your activities and get your identities.

PSA: Most Stablecoins Can Be Frozen, Even in Your Own Wallets. Your stable coins can be frozen anytime as they are launched and managed by centralized companies. Centralized companies have other risks from government's lawsuits. Do you know the very recent lawsuit and fud on Ripple?

3394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reading charts question. on: December 28, 2020, 05:00:49 AM
Remember: the larger the market cap, the more liquidity will be required to move the price to 20% to 40%
Exactly like this. It is the reason on market, altcoins can have crazy pumps in their young ages (early months) but when time goes on, the circulating supply will increase and marketcap rise too. To make the same pump, more capital is required. It is very clear to watch over the young and old altcoins. Old altcoins that have all time highs in 2018 are very difficult to be pumped again to the high prices.

They can be pumped with big % but it is very scarce pumps. Ethereum, for instance, will never be pumped 200% or 400% in 24 hours past many months and in the future.
3395  Other / Archival / Re: Confirmed transaction on: December 28, 2020, 03:37:48 AM
I sent them to indodax, so i'll try to call their support..
Your transaction was confirmed but your balance has not yet shown the amount. Sometimes, there are bugs or errors on the system of exchanges or marketplaces that make the process of balance credit is stucked, delayed or broken.

You need to contact their support with your account details and the tx hash of that deposit transaction. They will check and credit it to your balance. If one exchange is not scam, and your transaction is confirmed on the network, the exchange has to do their works, credit the amount to your account balance.
3396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Addresses showing 100000's of transactions on: December 27, 2020, 03:18:24 AM
You can type and search the addresses and transactions you are curious about with

If those addresses belong to big exchanges, I believe you will find them wit those website tools.

Or, though unlikely could be someone trying to push up the mempool's fees by artificially inflating the number of transactions.
Fee is falling so I don't think those transactions were made to artificially raise up the fee on bitcoin network.

3397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin's fees overpriced? on: December 26, 2020, 08:06:03 AM
You should always do it yourself, meaning use an open source wallet that is capable of analyzing the mempool and give the best suggestion.
Electrum wallet with mempool option for fee estimate. I don't use Electrum mobile to store my bitcoin or broadcast my transaction. I see it is helpful to check fee with the opt-in fee estimate based on mempool.

If want to make transactions, I will double check with https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#1,8h and https://mempool.space/graphs. The first website is better and I more usually use it.

Admins or global moderators can unlock threads and make edit but in my opinion, it is unnecessary for the thread of Lauda. Basic things are written by Lauda and for expansions, there are other threads provide expansions.

3399  Other / Meta / Re: Why do most Full Member accounts are inactive? on: December 26, 2020, 06:08:43 AM
I see that a lot of accounts on the forum have exactly 100 merit and the minimum requirements to be a Full Member.

Why is there so many?
It is a quite damn easy to be a Full member without merit system. Have 120 posts, 120 activity points and rank up at the forum check time.
History of bitcointalk.org's rank system

If one Full member is posting a lot since 2018 but did not get a single merit, that member is a shitposter and is worse than a member who received 10 merit from their good posts. If you look at the signatures they wear, you see they are joining bounties as they are not able to join in a good signature campaign that pays in bitcoin.
3400  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fees - top 3 best choices for lowest fees? on: December 25, 2020, 10:32:25 AM
- Choose a good wallet (non-custodial): Electrum.
- Use Bech32 address (Segwit): You can create Legacy or Segwit wallet with Electrum. Choose Segwit.
- Consolidate small inputs when fee is low
- Watch the mempool with https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#1,8h to consolidate small inputs or to make your real transactions.
