For some reason I don't really care about how it looks, even though I'm often outside and don't use a computer, I still use my cellphone by zooming in with both fingers. Lol
I'm old school. For the most part, I still prefer to browse the web on a computer. It's because of that reason that I don't spend more time on this forum. I'm sure I would use it more if it were mobile-responsive.

+1 to namesilo
Do you recommend namesilo for domain only or both for domain and hosting ? By the way i am tempting to buy both from Hostinger as they offer good deal and also examplens recommended it few posts above. You don't have to buy both services from the same service provider. But I bet you already know that. The reason why I prefer to keep them separate is probably because I change my hosting provider much more frequently than I change my domain name registrar.

That would be incredibly brazen. Of course it is possible. However, I think that when someone steals so much money, they don't have to go back to a project that is suspected of being a scam. I think it would be much easier to create something new and build a reputation from scratch. Unless he is afraid of the consequences and constantly tries to hide the scam by pretending that he is trying to fix anything.
Some criminals, like arsonists and serial killers, for example, like to return to the scene of the crime. This has become a standard plot in many detective shows and movies. Another possibility is that he simply ran out of money and wants to do everything over again.

We know there are lots of awesome white hat hackers out there so Flush will also be launching bounties on Immunefi Launching a bug bounty campaign is definitely a good decision and you did well by choosing Immunefi to host it. However, it would've been better if you did it before officially launching your casino at least to be sure that your platform and your customers' funds will be safe from hackers. Anyway, better late than never! Who says they didn't conduct extensive security testing of their platform before launching? That's why they can start a bug bounty campaign, because they know they won't have to pay anything. I'm kidding, of course. It's perfectly normal for a bug bounty to run after launch of the platform. It may be a beta launch, or even a "soft" launch, but still, some bugs can't even be detected without live players on the platform.

Regardless of the source of the numbers mentioned here in the picture, I'm not sure about these numbers because these numbers seem way higher than reality to me, still, there are many people who don't even know about bitcoin even in America if the situation is like that in a country like America then there is even worst situation in the other countries and other are still many people they don't know bitcoin or they partly know about bitcoin as a currency, then how can we ask them if they really trust something they don't even understand completely.
Maybe, that's the difference though. We are comparing this data with America, UK, and other developed countries. However, if this data was collected in less developed countries then I can see the data being skewed because of that. After all, local currencies in developing countries are generally less stable, and there are more people that are poverty stricken, which therefore might mean they were already looking for alternatives, and happened to stumble upon Bitcoin. I would have to agree though, comparing this data to my observations locally, it's massively over inflated. My thoughts exactly. According to the article, thousands of smartphone users participated in the survey and the data was gathered through the Premise app. Their CEO said: "Premise is committed to providing financial opportunities to the unbanked and to those generally excluded from traditional financial services." This fact alone shows that the results of the survey are not objective, since these are individuals who are in some way excluded from traditional financial services, or "unbanked".

Premise (a crowdsourced insights company) reported in a press release that 41% of respondents consider Bitcoin to be more reliable than their own local currencies. Those numbers actually seem pretty high to me. Many people don't even know enough about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, much less about their security or reliability. We still have a long way to go before people are comfortable with the concept of decentralized currencies, something they have never experienced before.

I have a question. If there are any services where you can archive not one page, but all pages at once? For example, there is a link to my list of open topics: Show the last topics started by this person. I have 24 pages there. And when I add this link to the archiving service, it only archives 1 page, and when I click on the second page, it takes me from the archive page to the forum page. Are there any ways or services that the archive was created at once for the entire list of topics or posts? What archiving services have you tried? Clicking on unarchived links on Wayback Machine won't redirect you back to the original url but will open a page with the following message: You can then simply archive the next page by clicking the "Save this url ..." button. Although it's not exactly what you were looking for, at least it will save you some time. EDIT: You can try opening each subsequent link in a new tab to further speed up the process.

...I have read some articles about mining and the different things you can do to actually get some money in profit, but none of the articles actually go into depth with how to actually do all these things. I was wondering if anyone in the forum could help me and make any suggestions to me.
You have a pinned topic at the top of this board: [General] How to earn Bitcoins, where you can find additional details about the many ways to earn Bitcoins. In my opinion, Bitcoin mining is not a viable option for individuals unless you are willing to invest significant resources in mining equipment and then spend a lot of time and money working on it. Yes, you can buy a cheap used GPU rigs or ASICs and start mining at home, but even then you have the problem of electricity consumption. The constant drain on your electric bill is the major obstacle for individuals. A more straightforward and cost-effective option is to use these funds to invest in Bitcoin directly. If you're looking for other ways of earning Bitcoin, you can do it in the same way as earning any other currencies; the best way is to provide value for other people and ask them for money in return. In regards to your other questions as a newbie, here's an interesting topic you might find useful: Newbies - Read before posting

... but since he is not posting anymore we will not get to see airdrops or bonuses being announced here
On that note, when was the last time you saw announcements about airdrops or bonuses here? If you're up for a challenge or a good laugh, head to the south in lightlord's post history in your quest of finding one.

Regarding trust issues which unfortunately cant be avoided, I have an idea that may be of interest.
If I create a Bitcoin Talk raffle for $5 per ticket - winner takes all and the winner can post proof of his or her withdrawal.
No. You cannot fix the negative sentiment regarding your casino by running a raffle on BitcoinTalk. If you want to fix the trust issues, then you should address the problems with the casino. There is no way of us fooling the raffle right?
Wrong. Who will guarantee that the winner will receive the prize? Where will the funds be held in escrow? We will just take a 5% rake from the pot as a casino fee and the rest is the winners.
Why would anyone want to enter your raffle when we already have multiple raffles organized by respected forum members without any rake? Btw, please stop multi-posting and blatantly violating the forum's rules.

In terms of overall safety of the site, there isn't much anyone can tell you at this point. As far as I can tell, this site started its gaming business just a few days ago and all of their social profiles were created on Nov. 15th. Considering they have nearly zero history, there isn't any real feedback as of yet about the site.
Indeed, they are new to the forum and gambling industry. So it won't be a good decision to invest in the bankroll of this casino at this moment. In the Statistics page multidice shows that their bankroll is above 2 million dollars. But they haven't provided the proof of their funds anywhere on the site. OP can bring some positive thoughts for the investors by providing a signed message with their wallet address (which have funds of their bankrolls). New gambling sites are very vulnerable to be used as places of investment. As you can see there are some things that are not yet transparent. With the popularity they have I think its better not to invest. I also doubt how they manage the bankroll of each coin since they have 50+ coins. Agreed. I noticed in their Terms of Service that they claim that "The agreement shall be governed by by the laws of Curaçao." [archive] However, nowhere else does it mention that they have a Curaçao gambling license or that they are are a gambling company registered in Curaçao. This raises my suspicions about the validity of their claims.

Can anyone tell me that I sense that it might be a good investment too? I was planning to use Shib to invest on their gambling site but can anyone tell me that it safe, I know the risk of investment but I mean the overall safety of the site and other things I need to know before transferring my coins to their site?

On a not so related discussion for OP, does anyone understand why this address to where OP paid - 18sFHF3eD25uSRrASfoPBKBaTHjk3N1cWc - appears to be related to our forum? Whenever I run it on BitInfoCharts[1] or OXT[2], our forum name appears related to it... I wonder if more experienced users could shed a light on it.
Yes, as pooya87 mentioned, that address seems to have been first mentioned on this forum in some whale hunter thread back in 2013. I don't think there are any other connections to bitcointalk.org.

I already have one in my localhost. But I have basic knowlodge about how to put it online.
Any host service can handle it?
Thanks.
Yes, almost any host with PHP and MySQL support can handle it. However, that doesn't mean any hosting platform will work, especially if the website does more than just serve static pages. You may have heard of DigitalOcean already, but if not, it's a powerful and cost-effective platform for hosting your applications. I am sure there are more out there, but this is my experience.

Yeah right! I think it's time for you to get real and stop projecting your insecurities onto others. BABC Token has now been integrated into the casino platform and is live for deposits with your tokens.
Is there a reason why you don't mention that in your Terms of Service or FAQs?

I see some text error on your strategy guide. I think you forgot to change the Bustabit to Bustafish on the text shown on the image below. I don't know what's the context on Bustabit but you might copy paste there ToS since you have same crash game offer. I notice this error before but I'm surprised that you didn't notice this very crucial info on your docs. Yeah. It does seem that they were too eager to launch their platform so they did not review all of the information in their documents thoroughly. Or perhaps they're just too lazy. Another mistake I've noticed is a reference to Bustabit in their Frequently Asked Questions as well. https://www.bustafish.com/faq

No disrespect intended, but why do you think anyone would want to buy your token? You haven't outlined any benefits for holders, and we can't even use the token for gambling on your platform. You don't talk about the basic things like what is the value of the token? What is the purpose of the token? Where is the whitepaper, tokenomics, anything... about this token? Honestly, how can you expect any success with such an unprofessional approach? Your credibility in the community is slipping, so I advise you to review your idea carefully before asking members of the bitcointalk community to contribute.

In my opinion , he is disappointed on how the Bitcointalk community reacts in His recent mistakes, His account remains tagged by 4 DT's in which i believe can be turn into Neutral since he already Paid the Due and also filled the Hot Wallet of the sites.
If you look closely, most of those ratings still apply. While the matter has been resolved for now, there is no guarantee it won't happen again. By the way, this isn't the first time that lightlord has been negatively tagged on this forum. | The Pharmacist | | 2019-01-02 | | | | Has consistently been delaying payments to his campaign participants (and Lutpin is also responsible for this) and consistently keeps them in the dark about them getting paid. This is gross mismanagement and has been going on for months.
I realize lightlord is an old and respected member of the bitcointalk community, but his behavior as of late is extremely untrustworthy IMO.
***This has been changed from neg to neutral, as I think lightlord's entire history of good things he's done on bitcointalk shouldn't be for naught. I do hope that he will keep a better eye on his campaigns and will communicate with his campaign participants (or make sure the campaign manager does) if there are problems. |
I think this leads Him to thinking in abandoning this forum and maybe focus outside bitcointalk to advertise though of course i might be exaggerating but this can be possible as he already showed us His absence while His account continues to Get Online from time to time.
As I mentioned in other thread, Lightlord rarely replies to his threads, and I haven't seen him interact with anyone here much. I would guess he's either busy or he doesn't really care.
