Now I'm beating myself up for not starting the NO D/ST against the Bucs, lol.

If I'm not mistaken last time Bucs were shut out was in 2012 (also a December game against Saints), and last shutout for Brady was in 2006 (?).

My take away from that is that I should have known it was statistically unlikely for that to continue, and the streak(s) would end tonight.  Thanks, I was just about to ease up on myself.

Pretty strange weekend so far with Cards and the Bucs sucking lemons.  Dallas is sitting as the number 2 seed at the moment...  Could you imagine that?  The NFC Least could take the top seed if the 'Girls keep winning and the Packers drop one.

If Greenbay wins all remaining games and Tampa Bay wins their games on week 16-17 and the Cowpersons and the Cardinals win their games on week 16, then the game on week 17 with the Cowpersons and the Cardinals will decide who will be seed number 2 in NFC. Is this correct, accurate?

@wheelz1200. If it was a fight for the number 2 seed between the Cardinals and the Cowboys what team would you bet? The spread is -3 for the Cowboys.

I would definately take the Cardinals in that game.  Yeah they laid an egg against Detroit that was a blip.  I can see the cards lighting up the cowboys.  Cowboys take a lot of all or nothing chances on d and kyler should load up on them.  That's how I see it but I also hate the cowgirls so I might be biased lol.

Giant fan here but if the cowboys don't end up with the top seed being able to ay the giants, eagles and wft twice a year they should be embarrassed.  That's an easy 6 wins right there.  Cowboys don't look dominant and if they play green Bay, rams, etc they are gonna have issues.  Gonna say it again.  Cowboys will have a great reg season record, maybe win during wild card week but then get beat up by a real team.  Same story every year for the girls

I'm pretty sure that I was telling you that the Cowboys were going to have a pretty decent year but they've been so inconsistent I'm with you, they don't have any legit chance this year to win a super bowl.  I also have to finally admit that Dak is the most overrated quarterback of all time.  He is so wildly inconsistent with his play it's not even funny.  He's amazing one game and below average the next and it seems never ending on that loop.

Bears Giants last game of the season I believe, what are we betting? lol.

Lol at this point with Jake fromm probably gonna be our qb, I will bet a 3 pack of shoelaces on the game even spread 😆

Skipped the Browns game as I really like the Chicago Bears to cover +7.5 @1.85 since the Vikings are in a tight spot and I still can't believe they're the ones who gave the Lions their first win. Hopefully, the trend on the road continues as they've been winning by a single possession and I think the Bears have a decent shot at winning as the Vikings are 2-5 on the road.

How about you guys do you have any insight or bets on this division matchup?

This is gonna be a tough fight for the Bears to pull this out.  Even though they are home they can't score.  And fields might be good someday but right now he needs a lot to go right for them to just stay competitive.  If he had Allen Robinson to throw too it would be better but he has Mooney and that's pretty much it.  Viks and tee up on them without fear of getting burned.  It's 10-0 now but this one might get ugly.

Another team that is also surprising me in the ranking is the Cavs, I would never have imagined that they could currently be in 3rd place in the ranking.

Many of us are in no doubt that we don't expect this Cavaliers team to be on the top of the standings in the Eastern Conference. They have no superstars in their roster and all our good role players. If they will keep up that kind of level of play, they will surely end on their current standings.

But I doubt them in the playoffs. Who knows though in the first place that we will see again an unusual team playing in the playoffs.

Actually the cavs would be super dangerous in the playoffs.  They are deep and can really score inside.  Their big men are excellent especially with the addition of evan mobley to the team.  They can score inside and out and defend the paint well.  Team needs to catch fire from the outside to beat up on this team.  I like their makeup and wouldn't be shocked if they go deep in the playoffs.

A few statistics: 8,000 US dollars, 400 days, 5 billion, the most awesome investment. This is SHIB.

No.  Do you realize how many shib are in circulation.  If the price of shib got to $.10 each that would require money fiat money than is even in circulation in the entire world combined.  Before making these threads you should consider understanding the basic premise behind coin pricing and what makes up a coins market cap.

So I was minding my own business on reddit, when I stumbled on a thread posted by some guy about this -> Metaverse Cryptocurrency. I'm not so well-read about this topic so I wanted to ask around here as well.
I also read this Meta Quest 2 porn article and after some searching, I found out that the adult industry ALSO has Cryptocurrency.

Aside from laughing about it, I wonder how big is this going to get in the future? Apparently the VR porn industry is growing pretty fast. What do you guys know about this?

Metaverse crypto might be the next wave.  Not because it will last but because crypto goes in waves in their pump and dumps.  2017 was masternode coins, 2021 was meme coins next year might be metaverse coins.  Just know most aren't needed and just gimmicks but if you catch the right wave you could make some good dough on it.

Bulls -6.5
I also have the Bulls spread, Rockets' recent losses on the road are within by 7 or more points, and even though the Bulls got a close win at home I still think they're likely to win by double digits. The last time they had a back to back game at home they won both games within double digits but it's still possible for the Rockets to take over knowing they've been racking some decent wins, three road wins in their last five.

Definately a good bet.  Bulls at home no matter their roster so long as it's not entirely depleted at -6.5 over the Rockets is a great bet.  They are already up 16 in the second quarter.  Rockets had some decent games and some good wins after starting the year terribly but most nights they are going to be overpowered by teams with solid vets.

I know all these fights are kind of just a joke and an insult to professional boxers but that night night punch was brutal from Paul.  I don't watch any of these fights as they are just sloppy and boring to watch honestly.  I had to watch that replay and man that was a solid hit.  With that being said this won't help these fights end.

Tonight's got a bunch of intriguing games on the board I like a bunch of them but 2 games are sticking out to me that I probably will go in on:

Jazz at home -11.5 against the Spurs.  Jazz are absolutely dominant at home and the Jazz are a matchup nightmare for Spurs.  Expect Rudy to dominate the inside both offensively and defensively.  Only way Spurs keep it tight if they are fire from 3 land

Then I like Portland over char in Portland -2.  Port is awesome at home and char is without lamely to run the point.  Should be an easy port win here.

Good luck everyone!

He is not a huge problem, Luka is, and the Lakers are lucky that Luka was out. It's a hard-fought victory and therefore they deserve the credit for beating a good team, but it's good to watch next time if Luka is going to play as he can play head to head with Lebron.
You probably need to edit your reply. By the way, even if Luka was out the Lakers was still struggling to get that win since most are lucky bunch on both teams. That was hell of a good game for both of them raining some threes during the overtime. Sure it will have a different outcome if Luka was playing with the Mavs.
Indeed, even though Luka Doncic wasn't on the court the Mavs were playing like he was with them and Lakers were struggling if you ask me. It was indeed a hell of a game to watch. It would have been much enjoyable if Luka was playing, always a pleasure to watch him in the big games.
I also think Lakers are the most intriguing team this season, as in what will they do next? Can they win the big games or can they have a strong play off performance this season? I always watch them with high interest.
An Irving less Nets would beat them, we saw how Durant played this season and he is carrying the team, so I don't think even if Lebron will man Durant, they cannot stop the production of Durant as the Nets will find a way for him to score and bring enough energy to the team to win.

Lebron is the leader of the Lakers, as the Lakers are struggling, which tells us that he is not a capable leader this season.
Besides, it's him who probably decides whom he will play with, reasons why these veterans are in the team now.

I'm not so confident with that, right now the Nets are playing well as they are in the number 1 spot in the East, but comes playoffs time, things would be different as it's a best of 7 games and adjustment will be made. Since the Lakers are a playoff experienced team and some players especially Lebron had won multiple championships, I think that's an advantage already and I like to see them as an underdog so I will bet on them.

I guess we are talking of a possible NBA finals here as it's the battle of East and West teams.

Not totally an NBA Finals as I still have doubts if the Lakers would really make it to the finals this season after seeing their inconsistent performance. If I would choose a team to be in the Finals based on my personal opinion, I'm gonna choose either the Warriors or the Suns as by far they are the most consistent team in the West.

Anyway, anything is possible though, so I'm not discounting the Lakers chance to be in the NBA Finals though like I said I still have doubts.

Everything would have to fall in the right places for the Lakers to get to the finals.  They will probably have to go through at least 2 tops teams if not 3 to get there.  Beating the likes of the Suns, Jazz, etc will be tough for them given the amount of miles that will be on their legs by then.  Building an old team never works let's see if the Lakers can break that trend, my money is against it.

I don't think I've ever seen so many turn overs within the 5!

Added: Damn and another one right after I posted this!

Chargers deserve to lose it, forfeiting 6 (or was it 9?) points for no good reason in a game like this gotta be the stupidest thing I've seen this season, and I've watched a few Lions games.
This is what happens when coaches follow sabermetrics without using their common sense, this was an important game so I get that the LAC coach wanted to be aggressive but I would have thought that after being stopped for the second time on 4th and goal they should have changed tactics.

I honestly don't mind teams that are aggressive on 4th downs near the goal line, especially if they have the personnel to go on 4th downs. Herbert can do things with his legs, Ekeler, even though being a bit banged up, and the other two RBs were getting almost everything they want against KC rush defense. Cook and Williams are endzone mismatches, and you also have Keenan Allen. I mean, you'd be doing your team a disservice if you weren't aggressive with the offensive weapons that you have.

The Chargers are top 5 in the NFL in terms of 4th downs and conversions. I believe their conversion % at home (prior to the game with KC) was higher than 70%, which is quite good.

The first 4th and short was the D.Parham play, which i thought was well-executed, he was wide open, he caught it, and if he hadn't hit his head on the way down, it would have been a touchdown...just an unfortunate outcome.

The 4th and short at the end of the second quarter was a good call, would have made it a two-possession game, plus the Chargers had scored already 2 TDs in that quarter.

The one play i didn't like was in the third quarter, at the KC 30, when they should have just kicked the field goal instead.....however, the Chargers have been going on 4th downs all season. Ironically or not, they won the first game with KC converting a 4th and 9 with less than a minute remaining in a tie game, though it was more about their kicker, iirc he was missing XPs left and right.

I don't think the Chargers lost because of those missed points/scores on 4th downs.

Honestly most teams are gonna go for it on 4th versus Chiefs.  Their soft point is their defense.  You aren't going to beat the Chiefs with fgs.  Hanging up 7s vs 3s is the only way to beat them and their d gambles a lot where you can hit first downs fairly easy against them at times.  I like the call, if I'm a head coach there I'd do the same.  Now if you are playing Detroit, Houston, etc it's fg city all day knowing you can stop their o fairly easily.
3392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 17, 2021, 03:39:26 AM
Looks like we will not see Klay in their Christmas games because base on a report that I saw on Facebook (NBA Buzz), the team said that he will return to the court on December 28 and that is the earliest possible against the Nuggets. Well, there is no reason for the team to force him to play because they are at the top of the standings right now.

Another report that I also saw from Facebook (NBA Buzz) is this:

We already knew that Coach Thibs removed Kemba from the rotation because they are playing far worse when he is in the court and that is true base on the statistics. Well, it turns out that he isn't the only problem of the Knicks. Just by seeing that picture, am I the only one thinking that Coach Thib might be the problem for the Knicks that is why they are below 500 right now?

That's a hard no.  Thibs isn't the reason they are below.  I am a die hard knicks fan and watch every minute (if not live I record it).  They have had early big man issues with injuries and knicks have been susceptible in the paint.  Second part of it is that thibs is actually giving the young guys some run.  Why you ask?  Kembas +/- is -6.8 when he is on the Court.  That's terrible, early on guards have slaughtered him and if you can't play d, thibs ain't playing you.  I can respect that.  All in all knicks lack someone who can punch in points in bunches if Randal is off.  One of these kids ( Iq, obi, qg, or duece) has to come up big and be that next star...

BTW duece with the most minutes he's gotten this year tonight= 9 assists, 15 pts and 4 steals...iq 7-10 from deep.  That's what the Knicks need.  Then it takes the pressure off thibs.
3393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 17, 2021, 01:23:44 AM
If Joel Embiid will play, chances they can get a win against Brooklyn Nets. In the latter's last game, they struggle to win against the Toronto Raptors. Kevin Durant did double work to push on a win. A tough challenge for the Brooklyn Nets is Sixers will play healthy in that game.

But I doubt we can expect a healthy Sixers as Joel Embiid still plays last night even with a minor injury and late 4Q on that game, he took a concerning fall but was able to get up with no problem, I supposed. He was listed as questionable on tonight's game.

Game isn't over but the Nets are up 17 in the second.  Obviously long way to go but betting against Durant as an underdog in his own house is usually never a good bet.  Watched some of it and sixers look lazy and Nets are lighting the score up.  Sometimes shaking up a roster isn't a bad thing.  Benches come out with energy.
3394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: where are these cryptos going;!!! on: December 16, 2021, 11:46:13 PM

Are cryptocurrencies losing their appeal? Where do you see which important crypto money in the future? How do you interpret the sudden fall of cryptocurrencies? Apart from BNB, SOL, BTC, ETH, do you think there are other cryptos that can be popular?

Most are cash grabs.  Not saying there can only be 4 but in the end there won't be thousands.  Most of these "projects" will be abandoned at some point as the development move on to other scams.  A pretty decent little project helium looks like it has a sustainable business model go check that put.
3395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: December 16, 2021, 11:41:53 PM
Once people was crazy about meme coin. After publishing lots of article, videos Against meme coins as cautioins, and after knowing that such step would be risky but they keep invested on such coins for earn quick money. Doge was pumped after elon tweet but dump again. now it seems people are more careful than before and most of memcoins got flop. so holding meme coins still make you rich or soon it'll be end of meme trend?

This is definately the end cash out now.  There is no need or utility of coins based on memes.  They are all cash grabs and the cycle has run its course.  Look at doge.  Peaked at 1200 sats and has already fallen into the 300s.  They will slide under 100 and the rest will probably fade into oblivioun as people are left holding untraceable bags of garbage.

Another Thursday night football as there aren't very many of them left so put in your picks for your chance to win a freebet.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5376942

Chargers and the Chiefs ought to be a slugfest so I would expect Mahomes to turn up the juice on those passes to punch them into the endzone.

Chiefs have been hanging 30+ on people and on paper this seems like an easy over pick which is causing me concern.  I'm actually leaning on the under side of this one.  Go against the grain, most of the money is on the over.
3397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 16, 2021, 11:36:56 PM
My pick tonight.

game : Nets vs 76ers.

Without Harden, I think 76ers would be able to focus their defense on Durant, he is the man that they need to limit as they can afford to see Durant dropping 40+ points again. It's a tough choice for me as always, but I'm leaning on the road team here.

Therefore my pick is ; 76ers ML. GL everyone!

The line has dropped to -2.5 for the 76ers, but I'll stick to the ML @ 1.77

I'm also taking the New York Knicks -4.5 vs Houston Rockets.

Best of luck!

I took the Nets still.  At home with Durant on the floor as underdogs seems crazy even though all the Nets players out.  I also got the Knicks.  They NEED to win this and think they are gonna come out firing.  Don't know if Quentin G is still in covid protocol but if he isn't I hope thibs gives him some run.
3398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 16, 2021, 11:34:48 PM
There is a great game tonight which is between Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers in Barclays Center. But Nets' condition with missing players doesn't seem very good. There are seven players who are ill due to covid-19 as it seems now. Harden is also among them but he might have a chance to play. But still, I don't expect this game to be played tonight. The Toronto Raptors - Chicago Bulls game has already been postponed and this game also seems likely.

I didn't hear this game would be postponed.  I still have the Nets at -1.5 to win the game.  So long as durantala is on the floor and the Nets are a small favorite I'm taking them at home.  Hopefully the game goes off, all of these postponed games are going to cause an end of year nightmare for back to back and even 3 games in a row some with travel.
3399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bullish Scenario - Minimum will reach $75000 on: December 16, 2021, 06:35:59 PM
From the bearish conditions that we have experienced for almost the last month, we can see that the price of bitcoin is almost close to the $40k price level. As long as we don't find a large bearish candle, the bullish scenario for Bitcoin will still occur. The next projected bitcoin price target is around the $74k-$75k level.

If this scenario occurs then the current buy the dip will be very profitable.

I'm looking at the same type comparison. Really watching that bottom line because things are a bit bearish or at least pessimistic in terms of pricing.  Personally I think it's gonna break through the bottom line.  I think a lot of people are gonna sell off crypto in the beginning of the year to pay for some of the taxes they are gonna owe with everything doing so well, especially alts.

2021 have bring so much growth to millions of people around the world I'm glad to have believe in this new technology called crypto and I'm sure as time goes on I will eventually get better at my crypto investment skills, I made more money than I lost but

1. Still I ended losing more money than I made, I was sitting on 30,000$ profit last month but I failed to take profit just because of 100k BTC rumour that looks like reality

2. be careful of Crypto YouTubers deceiving people to buy in cryptos where as they are simply predictions, most times crypto market can't be predicted correctly

3. Follow your heart and nothing else cos if I've done that I would have pull my 30k profits and now I'm left with 5000$ in usdt

Well the race isn't over yet, one day I will look back and laugh hard at all this, stay safe

On #2.  Most of those people are paid shills anyway.  If someone is pitching anything you should be weary.  Use that as a resource but not THE source you use to put money into things.

Another good lesson is to not go all in on a wierd position, if you are gonna buy some fridge coin, cost average up and down so that your risk isn't overly heavy on relying something to pump imedeately.
