What if they want nothing to do with the shitty system they've been born into? You're simply assuming because they don't want to pay taxes they want to take benefits as well.
3382  Other / Off-topic / Re: a life after death? on: October 04, 2014, 04:34:45 PM
I selected the maybe option but I wanted a "We don't know" option.
3383  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ive Never Met a Poor or Non-White Libertarian on: October 04, 2014, 03:08:59 PM
Gee thanks, nice to know someone out there in the world views someone's ideology purely based on whether they're white, I truly enjoy it when someone talks about themselves so benignly and then proceeds to spew an incredibly racist and hypocritical rant just because they think it's okay to say that kind of shit to white people, you know, because they deserve it. I also find it even more amusing when these people rant about how selfish people like Libertarians and Anarchists are and completely ignore the fact that they aren't the ones going around and forcing people to pay taxes through either threat of imprisonment or gunpoint, because that's oh so much better for a society to be oppressed through fear rather than letting them be generous to society through choice.

As it stands, Anarcho-Communists, Anarcho-Syndicalists and even Marxists have more fucking empathy from me than people like the OP, when government loyalists acknowledge the fact that you go to jail if you don't pay your taxes then we'll talk.
3384  Other / Meta / Re: We Don't Accept Unconfimed Transactions, Why Accept BS Posts All Day? on: October 04, 2014, 11:38:35 AM
Because just because you disagree with a post doesn't make it bullshit, who are you that you get to decide what is a valid opinion and what isn't? It's fine if you don't want that shit cluttering your screen, I don't either, but saying someone's opinion is worth less or somebody has no right to post because of what they say is an incredibly fascist way of thinking. If we started blocking peoples opinions based on votes then we'd have the exact same system we have in our current voting systems where you have entire blocks of people working to shun and block less organised or fractured groups from speaking out, it would just be mob rule.

majority would not be my opinion alone.
a compromise then, as on fake yelp.
you can click a link at the bottom of the page to see ALL of the flagged comments.

No, that's censorship and I refuse to compromise on freedom of speech.

By the way, found a brilliant article written by somebody on the subject, also points towards lots of media stupidity.

3388  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there any Dollar Millionaire in this forum? on: October 04, 2014, 09:31:56 AM
I suspect any real millionaires will keep their gobs shut about it, but plenty of fake millionaires will shout their mouths off about all the money they have.

Yeah and if I ever had that much Bitcoin a lot of my wealth wouldn't be stored in dollars to begin with Tongue I'd be buying up Gold and Silver more than a central bank!
3389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do You Trust Bitcoin on: October 03, 2014, 09:56:58 PM
. It's Open Source ( This is the main point for me )

. Blockchain is public

. It follows a form of mathematically based logic

. It actually works

. No personal information is data farmed through the transactions by third parties looking to spy on you
3390  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tight Credit? Why Ben Bernanke Couldn’t Refinance His Mortgage on: October 03, 2014, 09:32:15 PM
..... I could not have wished for a better ending, his own economic policy backfiring on him! LOL!

Quote
“It’s entirely possible” that lenders “may have gone a little bit too far on mortgage credit conditions,” he said at a conference in Chicago, according to Bloomberg News.

Best quote ever, I almost thought this was an onion news network post.
3391  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What Internet Trolls really are. on: October 03, 2014, 08:35:07 PM
The problem is as usual the people who don't use the internet just don't get it, trolls aren't these psychopaths and lunatics that internet stalk people and harass them, trolling is where you stir up shit sometimes justifiably and rile people up who are easily annoyed to begin with. It really is a fucking joke seeing people who barely use the internet on mainstream television comment on 'trolling', I for instance troll religious people on this board because I know they're going to get pissed off and I tend to only do it when they're being particularly homophobic or preachy which has been quite a bit lately but I would never go around internet stalking them or harassing them.

Too bad the people who write these articles will just ban, delete or ignore anyone that claims otherwise or doesn't go along with their stereotype of internet users, it's like going onto the flat earth society and posting and posting lots of photos of a spherical Earth, it pisses off people who are easily riled to begin with, no more.

For the record I do agree with the kind of data out there that shows that the people who start harassing and attacking particular people really are psychopaths because that's what psychopaths do, these people don't have anyone to pick on at school because they're all alone now so they go hunting on the internet instead. I get the feeling this is just another attempt at trying to curb internet freedom and stop people from posting whatever they like and is a precursor to something far more insidious than simply protecting someone's hurt feelings. By the way I can completely understand if somebody is having trouble with an internet stalker, never use software or websites that don't allow you to block certain users by I.P address, encrypt your messages and for fucks sake don't give out personal information unless you have the balls to live with the consequences.

Edit: Onion News Network would actually be what I define as internet trolls because they post completely fake news stories as if they're facts and stupid people completely fall for it.
3392  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Argentina crashes!Peso at historic low! Central banker resigns! a Cyprus moment! on: October 03, 2014, 07:38:42 PM
And so it begins, don't say any of you weren't warned several million times.
3393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do most of FUD creators are newbies! Whats their plan? on: October 03, 2014, 04:25:35 PM
Those posts are good places to collect ignores before they waste my time in real discussions.
My sentiments exactly.

self-moderated posts are also an indicator of how worthwhile they are on a forum bear that in mind Tongue
3394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does BTC cause so much controversy even with friends and family? on: October 03, 2014, 03:41:38 PM
They've probably been watching too much television where they claim we're all terrorists, drug dealers and paedophiles >_>
3395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does BTC cause so much controversy even with friends and family? on: October 03, 2014, 03:36:28 PM
You can blame almost a century of brainwashing by the central banking system for that, the reason people our age and so on are more into Bitcoin is because like with any new technology young people are more open minded, but the older generation has had it hammered into their heads that paper is the only form of money and anything else is fake. It also doesn't help that these people make ignorant assumptions and don't even bother researching anything and actually try to use it.
3396  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do people think fat asses are attractive? on: October 03, 2014, 03:19:18 PM
High testosterone men tend to find big asses attractive, thats why big asses are all over hip hop videos. The nerds in here probably enjoy asian waifus better or some shit.

Oh no! We like classier girls that don't have fake breasts and spray on tans! Tongue
3397  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: October 03, 2014, 09:04:44 AM

Dicksperiment, it's obvious you are the one that is dragging bitcoin down with your garbage posts.   You need to grow up and move out of your parent's house.  Undecided

As someone who hasn't moved out of their parents' house yet I resent that stereotype Tongue
3398  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do we defeat ISIS without U.S. Ground Troops? on: October 03, 2014, 08:14:44 AM
The problem is we're having to state the obvious to a bunch of violent psychopaths who think dropping bombs is the only solution, simple answer is we need to talk about how to fight these guys instead.
