341  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: December 01, 2017, 05:26:55 PM
Cryptocurrency has been named as the money of the next generation or the new era due to its features that promotes development and growth over time. It is true that crypto is the future for it exhibits the traits that is far advanced compared to other investment ventures. We should take note that usage (or centralization) of crypto is a big possibility, however the adaptation towards this platform may not be as easy. I guess it will flourish in the future alongside fiat to aid its growth.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: December 01, 2017, 03:03:59 PM
Although I greatly enjoy the advantages of Bitcoin, I would have to say that cash/fiat is what I prefer using. SInce Bitcoin is not as popular here in the Philippines, there is no outlet for me to use it. Basically, it does not have the value it has gained over time since people are not knowledgeable about it. It's the sad truth, hopefully someday development towards acceptance of Bitcoin would be encourage in our country so that its usage may be maximized.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: Will there ever be a Bitcoin Bank on: November 30, 2017, 05:56:53 PM
Having a Bitcoin bank may be a good idea since we always have this constant fear that our wallets can be hacked anytime due to the the development of programming and how smart people can get, but having a bank for Bitcoin will defeat its purpose of financial freedom. Bitcoin allows us to be in control and not have any parties involve with our cryptocurrency. With banks keeping it safe for us, they would for sure make something out of it and we will end up not enjoying the benefits of Bitcoin like we do now. Maybe a bank can be established for Bitcoin if they changed their rules about it. Hopefully it doesn't cover the set of rules established for fiat as it will burden us.
344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall down on december on: November 30, 2017, 01:29:11 PM
With the rise of Bitcoin, I do understand why you can't help but wonder if it might have an equivalent downfall. However, isn't December too soon to tell? I do get that the decrease in downfall rate that occurred before its remarkable price raise happened for a reason that was foreseen and expected; how about for the fall down you are claiming to happen this December, what are your basis?

I guess what we can do now is live in the moment and enjoy how great the rate of Bitcoin is today. Before we jump into conclusions, let's make sure that we have subordinate proofs of showing instances that might take place.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017? on: November 30, 2017, 05:54:37 AM
just be creative.
the easiest way is to do social media and signature campains on this forum.
you can also try trading if you have good skills.
think of it as an ordinary FIAT currency and try to start a project based on BTC.
when you make some BTC just hold it.

Agree with khaled111. In order to earn more, you have to incorporate your best set of of skills. Employing your skills with what you do allows you to produce an output which can be worth paying (especially when it's really good), which is why in this platform you do what does not burden you and at the same time you get to earn something that is of high value and in demand. Since Bitcoin rates are on a roll in increasing, make the most out of it by allowing your Bitcoin to multiply through storing. Also, try other investment ventures like ICO, but you have to do your own research and make sure that it is reliable.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: November 29, 2017, 06:53:40 PM
This is the feature of Bitcoin that I am most glad about. The fact that we have our very own control over what we worked hard for is liberating because all we had in our life is taxes and everything in between. Through Bitcoin, we get to enjoy the fruits of our own labor and maximize its value to the fullest. The financial freedom it entails its users while assuring security is promising ans I am very thankful that I have this earnings where I am in control. With Bitcoin, there is no such thing as greed as what we have is what we genuinely deserve.
347  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin increase forever? on: November 29, 2017, 05:56:04 PM
For Bitcoin price to increase forever is like a dream come true, but I think it's impossible to achieve for now. I believe that all things have their limits and for Bitcoin,  the supply and demand for it shares an inversely proportional relationship. We all know that the demand for Bitcoin has continually risen especially now that its rate are increasing. However, the supply of Bitcoin is finite and very limited. I guess the more that we demand for it, the higher its rate will be; but as we reach its capacity, its rate will not be as high.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: November 29, 2017, 04:24:16 PM
as we know so many reason to make controversial bit coin currency in practical or real media sanitation. if  we observe very carefully  few past few years we have seen that  criminal activities  or occurrence  are occurred by the help of hackers and trader make it famous moving thousand of dollars outside by cheating  with government law enforcement for that reason value of bitcoin increasing very high. even they make money away from center bank and government unable to hold money from general people and through this process people convert this money into different things. i think this is enough for making controversial and what do you think about my think ?

I think it is fair to say that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are controversial. However, that doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with them. People have developed opinions and prejudices about them based on what they have heard.

We all know about Silk Road and other potential illegal uses for Bitcoin but we also know that fiat currencies are used for illegal activities all the time. There is nothing inherently bad about Bitcoin.

Governments and banks are also sometimes critical of Bitcoin because it takes power away from them and into the hands of the people.

I think the bottom line is just like any technology including the internet, there are positives and negatives to Bitcoin, but because it is so revolutionary, it’s here to stay.

I totally agree with aardvark. The fact that Bitcoin is renowned after several years due to it's rate rising over time has allowed controversies to circle in with its popularity. For me, Bitcoin has been controversial due to the fact that the image established by the media about it is mostly a misconception and due to its aspect of decentralization (since the government does not have control over it or does not benefit from it), Bitcoin has been a topic of dispute. Despite all this, as aardvark said, there are two sides of the story and each should be examined appropriately before jumping into conclusions.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with our new found wealth??? on: November 29, 2017, 03:08:29 PM
I do understand your situation. Being under a government who's goal seems to be burdening their citizens with heavy taxations can be quite overwhelming. You don't get to enjoy the fruit of your labor because what you receive at the end of the day would be less than what you're truly worth it to have. I guess I myself invested in Bitcoins because I know that what I gain here, I will receive fully without any tax, without any other aspects hindering me from enjoying it.

With regards to staying low key in converting your Bitcoins back to cash, I guess the easiest way is to do it partially at a time. The government will have their hands on something they can benefit from quickly. So I suggest that you only cash out what you need and do it at a timely basis. I think this can be quite tedious, but at least you won't attract the government with your actions and with your money.
350  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: November 29, 2017, 05:33:30 AM
The popularity of Bitcoin is dependent on the knowledge of people towards the platform. The more people who learns about Bitcoin, the more people are encouraged to actually try using, earning, and even investing Bitcoin. For me, the price is not a huge factor as knowledge when it comes to Bitcoin popularity. True, more people would be into it if it's prices are stable but then again how will they know about it if they don't have any idea what Bitcoin is about?
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: November 29, 2017, 03:33:49 AM
2017 had its ups and downs for Bitcoin but as the year is reaching it's end, Bitcoin is on a roll. Yesterday, Bitcoin reached a remarkable rate of $10,000; something that most of us saw coming but did not expect to come so soon. Before it reached this value, Bitcoin experienced a major crash around the end of October and early November. This has caused panic which in return made users sell their shares. With all the fluctuations in rates, Bitcoin can still be affirmed promising since it knows how to come through and is continually (somehow) increasing through time.
352  Economy / Economics / Re: One Bitcoin, $10,000. Ten Thousand Dollars. on: November 28, 2017, 01:32:05 PM
Today's a good day to be alive and a great time to have Bitcoins! I have been seeing so many threads about Bitcoin reaching $10,000 before the year ends and wow, a month away until the new year starts and Bitcoin finally reached this rate. We saw this coming yet we are still so surprised about it. Just. WOW. Hopefully it would continue rising as I am sure that this news has made everyone glad!
353  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: November 28, 2017, 10:00:00 AM
Poverty is a serious issue caused by multiple problems a country is facing. It is such a big problem that I don't think Bitcoin alone can solve it. However, with the flexibility of Bitcoin there is a chance that Bitcoin can ease the drastic situation poverty has caused. It can open opportunities for people to learn and engage in to rise in life.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do people get their bitcoins? on: November 28, 2017, 05:52:21 AM
There are many ways to earn Bitcoins. I think the easiest is through joining signature campaigns. However, if you are not into writing or reviewing, signature campaigns may be a hassle since it requires your intellect and time. Others which I think would be risky and would require strategic actions are trading and mining. Earning may be fast through this platforms, but losing it would just be as easy.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: November 28, 2017, 02:43:13 AM
there is no fool proof answer to this question. it is all speculation.
the risks are there but in my opinion price going down in long term has a  very small chance. but in short term because of some stuff that are going on can go down but i won't last long.

but there is another risk that people usually forget, when you are using bitcoin you are in charge of keeping your private keys (your wallet) safe. and if you fail to do that, you will lose your money. this risk is easily manageable though, since you can learn how to make a safe wallet (read about cold storage) and never worry about this risk.

I agree with Herbert2020. It would be a smart move to invest your money by converting them to Bitcoins as it allows growth in a short amount of time compared to orher investment ventures. However, you should take note of how much you are willing to invest as even though the rates are projected to continually increase, its flactuations can continue to be constant and unpredictable; but this is temporary. You should only risk what you're willing to lose.

With regards to just storing them, you should take high precautionary measures. You may think your wallet is highly secured but with all the advancement in programming right now, it can be taken away from you at an instant. You should be extra vigilant for the time being of your investment.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: November 26, 2017, 05:57:52 PM
Yes people should not forget that bitcoin is really a blessings to everyone of us and, because of it's good price increase it brought good benefits to us who waited this for so long. Now is the time for those who holds their bitcoin for a long period of time and yet the blessing is here happening in front of us, the reality of our hope has been a significant event on our lives which profit mainly involved in every price movement in the market.

AMEN to that! It has been 7 months since Cherylstar86 posted this and I think what she said is still applicable to the situation of Bitcoin today. We recently experienced a drastic downfall in Bitcoin rates, but after awhile Bitcoin bounced back and is continually rising. The volatility of Bitcoin can be quite frustrating at times, but when it's rates heighten it can be truly beneficial to everyone especially to those who has been holding on to their Bitcoins for the longest time. A lesson to put in mind is that Bitcoin will always a blessing as time allows it to be.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin increase forever? on: November 26, 2017, 03:03:40 PM
The volatility of Bitcoin is what makes it challenging and very interesting. Losing this trait would make more people have reliance towards this platform which can result to the lost of its value. When you say that Bitcoin will increase forever, it seems that it has to be stable to do so. If it does, it will be advantageous to the long time users or keepers, and a disadvantage to those who wants to obtain Bitcoins as it can be to high to gain. So I guess, Bitcoin price will not increase forever. Maybe someday it will, but for now it will remain in a state of fluctuation.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] VLB - The Ultimate Blockchain Fuel for the Vehicle Lifecycle Industry on: November 26, 2017, 07:59:29 AM
Is it November 27 yet? Can't wait until the ICO launch of VLB.IO! This project will truly be an outstanding one, I can already feel it.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: November 26, 2017, 07:25:04 AM
Although Bitcoin is considered a currency, I think that it can also pave way to become an investment venture since it can assure (not completely though) a return or increase in the value of your money given that the rates are at a good state over time. Compared to other investment platforms such as banks, Bitcoin can allow your money to grow at a quicker rate. However, due to it's volatility, you do not have a guarantee of certainty. Nonetheless, I think Bitcoin always comes through and it's rate can be quite promising when it is in a good time.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: November 26, 2017, 05:49:02 AM
Right now since there are no platforms in the country that I can use my Bitcoin in, I only save my Bitcoin and allow it to multiply. I guess what I'll do for now is just earn and save so that when the time comes that Bitcoin can be used for transactions here in the country, that's when I'll maximize it. I know that there are online transactions where I can use it, but I think it's more practical to save it for now.
