IEO on Binance going worse since WINK and PERLIN have done, if BAND makes people disappointed again I'm pretty sure most of the people will leave Binance IEO. Anyway, I already participate in BAND Lottery and then I'm LOSE... Have 3 tickets and got nothing... #REKT Annnnnnd it was a bust (Band). But I doubt that this huge mountain of people will give up and pass the next Binance IEO, it is just too tempting as profit is almost guaranteed, even if its just 30 or 40% and not 8x as in the past.

Another proof that the IEO craze is cooling down is the last 2 Binance IEOs, both have listed under the 2x ROI which is atrocious when comparing it to the ROI of their earlier IEOs. But to be fair, those two projects have had quite high MC right at the beginning, so this could as well be an important factor in their failed moon mission.

Its a miracle that this dude is still alive haha. He would sell you your own mother if he could, but its definitely entertaining witnessing his antics and crypto prognosis, I am eager to hear what his excuse will be (for not munching on his own wee wee) when BTC wont come even close to a million next year.

Some people here are claiming that the recent price drop is a consequence of the "airdrop" dumpers, but the earndrop withdrawals are not live yet, they will open up after all the rounds are completed. This price drop is just a natural occurrence if taking into account a rapid price growth in the past few months.

Centra is indeed the most well known representative of this phenomena, just remember Floyd and his shilling while he probably didn't even have a clue what he is talking about. Or the Paris Hilton one, cringe inducing stuff.

I would not call Bitmax a shit exchange, but it is definitely one of the main factors of Deepcloud AI's and Ferrum Network's disappointing price action after the listing, both projects deserves much more, even in those unstable market sentiments right now.

Yea, IEOs on Bittrex have been atrocious so far, I cant believe projects keep falling for it, I guess they are super desperate for a listing and they dont care about the short/mid term price action.

Nah, those "endorsements" are usually an indicator of lacking of substance and going for the bling aka the style over substance situation. Remember those projects from 2017 that were endorsed by various musicians and athletes? Where are they now? In a shitter, where they belong.

Such an underwhelming bump of the thread haha, but regarding the theme of the actual topic, past few years were much worse when it comes to scams imo, as there was plenty of dump money on the market for grabs, now people learned their lessons and tend to stay away from shady projects.

If you are annoyed by them, send them somewhere else like to some XY ETH addresses where they will rot away forever, but hey, you never know, those useless tokens could be worth something in couple of years, it highly unlikely, but who knows.

There are some exciting new projects coming into the scene, but they are just so rare that the whole upcoming project "spectrum" gives an impression of a wasteland. Sovrin and Hedera are worth mentioning, but they will probably need some time to reach a solid amount of adoption.

For sure, every time I am browsing between the new and upcoming projects I tend to take a closer took at their whitepaper which is a pretty big indicator about the potential of the project and even their seriousness about it. So I simply eliminate those projects with sloppy 20 or 30 pages whitepapers.

Its an enigma at this point. I think it will do well in the long term, but right now it has a giant market cap and I doubt there will be enough demand to sustain those high prices after it lists. The market sentiment is not the best as well, so I am interested to see how it will perform in the first few days.
and this enigma can send people on scam way. Not sure what do you mean with "scam way" as I highly doubt the project itself is a scam, its just highly overvalued, especially for current market conditions, so it may be a poor short/mid term investment.

It would be interesting to have those information indeed as I dont have a clue if there are any fees for being approved for IEO. Top tier exchanges are accepting strong projects, so they can make profits from a high volume of trades after listing, but I wouldn't be surprised if smaller exchanges would charge fees for running IEOs.
