341  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: August 19, 2013, 08:09:53 PM
Now that I'm using (officially) the 0.2.3 version of MinePeon, hopefully for the next few months without need of saving a new full version to another SD, I do need some help, to automate the start of the LCD python2 cgminerLCDStats.py program.

I usually do the following commands, after a RPI reboot/restart and connecting to the RPI via PuTTY:

Quote
screen -S LCD
cd cgminerLCDStats
sudo python2 cgminerLCDStats.py
CTRL A + D

How can I automate it? Please don't forget I'm less than a noobie @ Linux. I don't know Linux! I'm a pure donkey...

$29.99 high quality embroidered bitcoin with logo in black or navy

http://cryptoanarchy.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=50

99 cent US shipping.  I will ship worldwide as well.  Sizes S-2XL in stock in both designs.  Throw some stickers in your cart as well as US shipping is fixed!
Greetings.

I bought and paid, last 04 July, one high quality embroidered bitcoin polo with logo in black (order #490). Why is that order still pending, after more than 20 days?

Best regards.

Order ID: #490   Status: Pending   Date Added: 04/07/2013
Products: 1   Customer: Rui Costa
Total: $30.98

You have not responded to my email about shipping charges.
Never received any email or PM from you, before today, except the order confirmation, from last July 4. Already paid you the "extra" shipping cost.
Finally received the polo. It's lovely! Thanks, Littleshop.
343  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: August 17, 2013, 01:27:52 PM
Note to Self : Do not do updates with 22 miners running. I believe this is the source of the problems I have had.

Disconnect miners, update, reboot, restart mining.

Seems sooo obvious now lol@me.

This might not be a problem with fewer miners.

Am gonna start again with this n mind tomorrow.  Grin
Are you talking about MinePeon update or Arch Linux update? I never had problems with MinePeon but I always destroy the SD when trying to update the OS.
344  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: August 17, 2013, 08:21:05 AM
I tried the new LCD program and now it needs to detect the ':' of the end of the pool's name:

Interesting that here, the HW value is the expected, not the one calculated by MinePeon.

Thanks for the info. I added code to remove "stratum+tcp://" from the URL. I've seen that URL prefix in use in the some of the pool URLs I've been checking. Maybe you specified that prefix when setting up the pool?

Anyway, I'm guessing the API call is returning that as part of the URL, and you're only seeing the "stratum+" part. If my guess is right, the new code I just pushed should fix the problem.
The link I put @ the pool is

I pushed a few updates for the LCD display code to github. The current version hopefully fixes a bug where the incorrect pool URL was sometimes displayed. (Kano: I didn't code this exactly the way we discussed, but I think it's working.) I also updated the URL display code itself. If anyone notices an incorrect or scrambled URL, let me know Wink Note that the full pool URL will not be displayed.

Olá Isamaru.

Pois... a ButterflyLabs declarou no CN22, o valor total pago. Estou feito!

Continua a 0?

Para que é o cabo que ligas ao GPIO do RPI?

Vá lá, que pagaste abaixo do esperado. Já calculaste o ROI do Jalapeño?

Guarda bem o papelinho da Alfândega! Sempre custou €1,80...

Sad

O K16 que esperas é do 1º ou 2º GB? Eu espero 1 de cada.

Boa mineração.
Rui

UPDATE: Na documentação que enviaste, estavam incluídos 88 US$ de portes, certo? Não os incluíram nos cálculos? Que estranho...

OK done, https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/commit/6b62c402fa2939d7372764ce352e64aea78c71d0
It will be in 3.3.4 which is likely to be out today.
If you are curious, api.c has the calculations, search for "percent"
(and no, the devices do all use the same function, the 'Avalon' version which is correct for all the others also)
Ok, cgminer 3.3.4 already @ http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/.

For anyone interested, I've resolved the issue.

All I had to do was make the plate thicker by about 1mm, and now the stainless steel option can be selected.
There is one problem with this, though: it's now a little more expensive. Before I order I'm going to email Shapeways and ask them if I can print both the components together rather than as separate items to reduce costs.

Given a week or two, I think I'll be ready to order the new prototype. Smiley
Good luck my friend and keep the good work. I'm waiting for a future release, to buy one.
