Since most ICO's get the bulk of their money in Ethereum it would make more sense to pay in that currency rather than Bitcoin. It fact you could even take this idea one step further and set up the smart contract that people are sending their investments to, to send a defined percentage of the money taken in to the bounty manager who would be responsible for distributing it to the participants.

If you are looking for the coins to invest in look for the ones that turned the crypto they got during the ICO into cash. There are a lot of coins trading at a small percentage of the cash they have in their treasury. The dumb ones hung on to the cryptocurrencies they raised even though all their development costs were going to be in fiat.

HODLing is a stupid investment strategy. Cryptocurrencies are cyclical in nature with regular bull and bear market cycles that happen along much shorter time frames than other markets. Right now is a great time to start buying again and Dec 2017 and January 2018 were a great time to be selling. But as is normal human nature most people did the opposite.

My favourite is not on your list. BitSong is currently in the final stages of their public sale. I like them because they have managed to attract a lot of artists to the platform already and that in the end is what is going to seperate the successful from the failures. People will ultimately only use the platform if it has good music on it.

No, if anything you are a little bit early. The best time to get started is when everyone else is selling. Bitcoin has had 3 bear markets where it dropped more than 80% from its highs and every time it was followed by a bull market where it rose to many times the value of its previous highs. Now is great time to be putting money into cryptocurrency.

Well, they say for a bear market to end you need to see capitulation. So if a lot of other people follow your example we will see the end of the bear market. Thanks from all the rest of us that are going to hang in there.

The old investment adage about the key to being successful is to buy low and sell high means that first you must buy low. But how do you know when low is? Cryptocurrencies are pretty beaten up at this point but they could fall even more. So what should you do? I would answer that since you can only know the bottom through hindsight that the smartest strategy to buy a bottom is invest at regular intervals.

Cryptocurrencies have survived many bear markets. In the short history of Bitcoin it has had 3 Bear markets with the longest having lasted 415 days between November 29, 2013 and Jan 7th, 2015. Like all bear markets the current one will eventually end. Bear markets in fact don't actually do anything to the coin itself, it still exists no matter what value the market assigns to it at any particular point in time. It is only those holding the coin that are affected.

ICO's don't need for the market to make a large rise to be relevant again. All it will require is that the markets stops falling. The same way that IPO's tend to dry up when stock markets are in a bear market so has ICO's. It is the simple fact that people don't invest when they think their investment will be worth less a few months in the future. This is not something completely new and it always eventually ends. In fact many projects are sitting waiting for the market conditions to change and when it finally does we may see more ICO's happening than we have ever seen before.

I would go one step further and say that it is inevitable that Ethereum will rise again. This bear market has affected all coins and in some ways Ethereum has fared worse because a lot of the companies that raised money doing ICO's stupidly thought that holding all their capital in Ethereum when their expenses are in fiat was a good idea. Eventually the market will chew through this overhang and as the regulatory landscape for ICO's and STO's becomes less opaque money will flow in again and the big beneficiary with be the Undisputed King Of ICO's, Ethereum

Like Ranillo79 who has not been seen for over a month so have many of the bounty managers on this list. This is Crypto Winter and all the fast money artists have left the building just as you would expect when nearing the bottom of a bear market. Only us die hards left to reap the rewards when things start to turn.

If you did that trade your 21 NEO would be worth 1.4 ETH. Both Coins have lost  a lot of value is USD since you posed this question. ETH has performed better because even though ICO markets are in the tank it is still the undisputed King Of ICO's. When markets recover I believe that it will also out perform NEO to the upside. NEO still needs to find itself a compelling use case.

Emotions have no place in trading. If you are making trades based on feelings you are going to lose money. That is why in almost all cases trading algorithms outperform human traders. If you find yourself getting too emotional sell out your positions and take a break. Come back when you have mastered your emotions.

Time has shown how incredibly uneducated most of the CFO's of the companies doing ICO's really are. If you were the CFO of a traditional firm you would be cognizant of the Foreign Exchange risk if your Balance sheet was mostly in Euro's and your expenses were in Dollars. That they sat with most of their balance sheet in ETH when they would need Fiat to fund their operation is incredibly negligent given the historic volatility of cryptocurrency.
