I have a question about UTC wallet. Why it is using so much RAM and processor?

I have stake minting enabled but it's not minting yet right?

tomorrows update will enable weekly POS, do you have wallets of other coins? how much ram are they using?

edgar: this thread is not the time and the place....

and you cant go around accusing people of being thieves and liars, i dont work for btc-e im simply a chat mod.i never stole a cent from anybody there, and i haven`t lied

and i actually cant afford to loose it,that money is all i got. That money was from the UTC IPO, and those asics have to fund developements, and my company.it was a long term desicion. However IF i loose it, i did not endanger my rent, food or family matters such as christmas

when your logic fails you resort to name calling and that is a shame. This is not how gentlemen talk.

so again, wishing that i loose my money shows very little character and a disproportional anger for a chat ban that transpired 9 months ago,a ban that you deserved because you broke the rules stated under terms (rules that i did not make).

But if you want to live your life hating the big and mean world, thats your choice....

Life is alot nicer when you dont think of people as your enemys, you also need to know that your words are hurtfull, and that im a human being just like you.Imagine getting horrible PM`s like you used to send frequently.people who are incapable of admitting they broke the rules so they decide to lash out in a personal way.The lowest form of communication is personal attack.

and i remind you again that this is a thread about alpha technology, not a platform for your misguided frustration.

343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: June 30, 2014, 12:43:57 PM
i can not loose 10k, if they cant deliver my asic then refund the total in current btc value.i sacrificed starting a company for this and my money is frozen in this asic for half a year...

IF you are the same bumface who banned me a hundred times on BTC-e when your overlords were trying to scam me out of 50,000USD then i can only applaud Alpha for rewarding you in kind.

As you will probably be unaware, it took me a few months and a christmas with 3 kids and NO money until i finally got my 50K back.

As you will also probably be unaware, i got my refund from Alpha Tech back in January when it was OBVIOUS they were lying , scamming, pathetic little children....

Good LUCK to EVERYONE except YOU & Alpha-Tech!!

If you are the same edgar who said this and got banned:

"davidor, u get wood? u cry? u offer ur mouth as a cum depositry?"

http://trollboxarchive.com/quote/17817754

You are actually surprised this will get you banned?

and now you come whining on a totally unrelated forum 9 months later......and as i remember it, it was my assistance that got your money released, and now you wish i loose my money, after you just disclosed the hardship you got from not having money...

You did not learn anything in 9 months.
And there is also the rule of only investing what you can afford to loose,so why you would have a 100% of your money on an exchange and dont have money for christmas is  your own fault....

my advice to you is take responsibility for your own actions, dont blame others, and dont hold grudges.

You will live a much happyer life this way.

although i am highly sceptical and worried by this thread, please dont do anything rash, and be very carefull with using the word scam untill the promised shipping date has passed.....

do not report them or do things like that when they are still before the shipping period, and yes im a customer also
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! on: June 29, 2014, 11:20:07 AM
People can start mailing webstores asking for UTC acceptance with the coinpayments plugin.

https://www.coinpayments.net/

Let`s start with targeting webstores who currently accept LTC

http://uselitecoin.com/

https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=1365.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=139940.0

So if you have some time, choose a store from these links and send them this message (or your own)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello

I see your store accepts Litecoin, can i please pay with Ultracoin?

Its one of the fastest coins out there.

They have a payment processor now,

https://www.coinpayments.net/

Please accept Ultracoin!

I think when UTC was with Bumface the coin was doing better, changing management hands has not made any difference but all the contrary, the value has gone down! This needs urgent work and good marketing and proyect. Changes hands will not do anything if you dont have more than buying games like most coins do, you have to make the difference

actually the price went up 50% when they took over.thse guys are very good, but nobody is a miracle worker, the price does not go x100 in a week.

We are still in the middle of transfering full management to them, managing a coin is alot of work and its not easy, please be patient and give them time to adjust

In my opnion nothing wrong with the dev's comment regarding transparency.
They are fully open about everything, just not about their deal with Bumface.
I am ok with that.

Let me just say that I didn't understand their concept of 'ownership'

they mean managing the developments, offcourse crypto is a community thing but managing a coin is really alot of work.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! on: June 28, 2014, 12:12:51 PM
No one like's secrets, transparency is key

And i don't like it that Bumface sold out

sold out?

im not going anywhere buddy

I gave them full control because i will be starting a company.Every ship needs a captain, and if i start a company and spend less time on UTC then now,it will not be beneficial to the coin.

Now the coin has professional managers who are buisness owners,so its a good thing. not a bad thing Cheesy

Hence your new dev. team pool is dead, try lowering fees.
If you  make it with 0% fee, at least for a certain period of time, I will join - I am +22% of the current networks hash power Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Well its not 0% but as I promised Smiley

(I might even bring a few friends around)

hi friend,

Pools need fees to survive, they cost 100`s of dollars per month to operate  Wink

Hi guys

There will be another update soon,if you have not updated yet please wait a little bit untill version 1.0.4.1 is released.

If you alrerady updated to 1.0.4 thats not a problem , but please update again when 1.0.4.1 is released.

The new update will have a checkpoint key update and some final POS tweaking (the pos change will still take effect in block 449000)

We apologise for the inconveniance

MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE

UPDATE NOW THE MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE V.1.0.4.0

Dear UTC Community Members,

PLEASE DOWNLOAD ONE OF THESE FILES FOR THE WALLET UPDATE :

> Ultracoin Windows Wallet V1.0.4.0 Download here
> Ultracoin MAC Wallet V1.0.4.0 ( Untested ) Download here

HOW TO UPDATE THE WALLET ? :

Step 1 : Type %appdata% in the windows search box (You see it when you click the start button)

Step 2 : Find the Ultracoin folder

Step 3 : Copy the wallet.dat securely into a backup folder you choose (DO NOT DELETE OR CUT YOUR WALLET.DAT FILE)

Step 4 : Delete everything in the appdata/ultracoin folder (BUT DO NOT DELETE THE WALLET.DAT FILE !!)

Step 5 : Download the wallet of your choice (Windows or MAC)

Step 6 : Extract the folder from the download somewhere, now drag the Ultracoin-qt.exe from the new download into your normal wallet folder (not into the appdata/ultracoin folder but your wallet folder)

Step 7 : Click yes when it asks "do you want to replace the file"

Step 8 : Start the wallet. It will now download the entire blockchain again (this will take some time)

The update V1.0.4.0 addresses the following content:
> POS 5,2% p/year – 0,1% p/week (starting as from block 450000)
> Some small new futures and new pop up warning screens
> Using the new UTC 2.0 logo

Remember; for Stake Minting at V1.0.4.0 you will have to keep your wallet open for 24/7 and Enable Stake Minting with your password !

Are you going to post the source?  It has not been updated and honestly, the last guys added some code that completely disabled POS (the change wasn't ever activated as the coin age wasn't changed).  I'd like to know if you rolled it back or that at least your developers are competent by seeing what they changed.  Blind wallet downloads are never a good idea these days.

Yes, someone needs to contact them, we should be listed.
I posted in the coinmarketcap bitcointalk forum. Seems like we're not the only one with this issue. Vericoin and Cryptcoin are also MIA.

Probably that's why...

its fixed
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! on: June 20, 2014, 06:31:45 PM
yes! and respond to all kinds of other threads with the UTC signature under your name  Wink

Bumface and others.. forgive me my noobness..
But if i want to paste the sites in my signature in my profile settings,i can only paste the upper one of the three sites, somehow the others 2 get erased within a second.. What am i doing wrong?

Also if i try to paste them one by one, i can only paste one. if i want to paste another one under or next to the one already pasted, it gets erased within a second...

i have 8 spaces between 1 and 2, and then the same on the next line

Steven that's a very good idea....

To all, please also add our Ultracoin forum to your signature. It is important for UTC.

http://ultracointalk.org/

By the way! You guys may want to add "Forum - Ultracointalk.org/" to your signature as well! The more people we can get to migrate, the more Ultracoin can stand up on its own two feet without leaning on Bitcoin! To be a top 5 coin, that's what we need to do.

cant read the bottom, maybe 2 and 2?
