jeez, what happened to the good old flash crashes? it hurts, yes, but it is over sooner. this stumbling/bleeding/wick fuckery ain´t no fun. i´d prefer a throat cut candle down to $8k. bring it on bears, bring it on ffs!
This. I thought the same this morning. Damn bleeding. I cant stand it. The dump was coming (no bakkt fomo -not even a faked one-, hashrate drop just to scare, death cross on long timeframe, blah blah blah). Sometimes i blame myself for supposedly knowing what to expect and not reacting. Definition of HODL ?? Cold wallet is that cold, that i dont want to touch it. Dump, crash, burn. Still a bit soon for the triangle breakdown, but it won't be long now. There is NO-NEW-MONEY coming into the system, the current (14k top) supercycle will be the first one to create a lower high. One possibility is a super descending triangle (sloping from 20k, touching 14k, maybe 9k for the next lower high) with 3k as horizontal support. BTC does not pay a dividend, it has no actual human use utility > if you don't sell you may as well throw the private keys away, there is no difference.
Flip the chart to linear to realize the actual scale of new money that has to come in for a new ATH to be hit. Usage is lower. Search interest is 5% of the 20k peak. Institutions have regulated, secure methods to invest and of course don't care. The only possibility is a new army of retail suckers, tell me where they will come from (without the media hype of new ATH's to pull them in) and I would love to go long.

Anon prediction about BTC dominance at 40-46%? He never said when.. but but...
My theory about this is that when the mainstream coins like Libra hit the market, they will bring the Bitcoin dominance down because they will be pumped/inflated. Im sure next year we will see Google, Apple, Amazon, etc all jump in. Bitcoins dominance will have to compete with those coins to which would likely bring the dominance down. P.S. this guy is going to become an absolute god if we hit $16,000 next month..... -He called the bottom (A lot of people thought we were going much lower when he posted it) -He called the exact length of the accumulation phase (Said it would end in March and start in April) -He called the April boom we saw in the first week -He called the correct price in April -He called the correct price in July (Bitcoin almost made it out of July without touching $9200, turns out $9100 was the bottom; we haven't gone lower since) So October will be interesting, this is a legendary posts regardless, the amount of things he has gotten correct already is remarkable. Likely a lot of luck in there. None of us should get sucked into the trap of deifying posters into sorcerers. Remember how revered Vinnie Lingham was in 2015/16 and how he squandered such reputation in early 2017? - but probably only after a decent number of folks got R3ckt by selling because they actually relied on his bullshit early 2017 propositions that bitcoin was going below $500. Nobody can stop us from downloading a software that let us interact with other peers. If they dont want to participate, they cant stop the rest of us BTC will keep on running, one way or another.. go BTC go! even a 'fake' twitter post saying Trump wanted or was pursuing banning Bitcoin would have a huge effect on price..even with say his ADT and it went no place. I'd guess BTC would go down by 15% on such shenanigans and if an outright ban, well at least in the short term at best BTC would be back about $3,200 again. IMHO. It likely would bounce back some on this new reality...but it would mightly suck. the guy has too much sway in the media and folk freak out about his irrational actions, that would be some of the results and thus my guesses on above. brad Of course a "ban" would affect price! This is an emotional market! I was referring to our ability to keep on using a piece of software. |

I can definitely deal with a new ATH this year (there’s not long left in 2019 though).
Its not high to climb either Hopefully, it’d be the best Christmas present, a new ATH  It's a mere doubling... meh. It'll come. It's not a question of if, but when. The price we pay to become more wealthy from our fickle mistress, is simply - as always... patience. yes sir, its a mere 100%, and we know the honey badger can do it pretty quick (20 days in dec 2017?), but.. I wish Bakkt does something good for the price...although it may be "meh" and we can be almost sure that both ETF in october will not be approved.. (Btw, it seems VanEck/Solidx "limited ETF via exception" had an ultra slow start..) ok ok, wheres my hopium? go BTC go! |

Cool! Get your last buys in over the next couple of months guys before it gets too expensive If we are here to observe, i´ll do it.. I observe more blue each period.. more blue dots, and with a higher slope I observe green and yellow dots having lesser slope.. and i observe less red dots each period.. so, my l33t TA skillz tell me to join the peaks and... hmm.. expect a 2000% by 2021 ? Thats the best i can do. I just got meal and my stomach is having all the blood. My brain is idling. |
