Its based on the unix timestamp.  The first mined block was December 21 at 1am or so.   1387588200 or so in unix (these are rough, not exact). add 14 days to that adn you get 1388797800. Convert that to your local time zone and your set!

..the crucial time is December 21 at 1am and that is what everyone - incl myself - is asking about.. which am timezone?
that count down meter is worthless unless it clearly specifies which exact timezone it is counting down to..

another topic:
would it be possible to alter the code/programming for the site so that I don't have to login every time I return to the site to check..?
even a few minutes away from it triggers a new login..

Yes you are a pool hopper whom is behind easy hit & run money.
Here we go again with the lies, can you even control yourself?  I hardly call 10+ hours constantly mining at 2.8MH on your site a pool hopper for easy money.  Not that I actually got any from you, even though you personally told me I would.  Haven't checked those chat logs have you, well I bet you have but you wont admit to what you said in chat.
I have used cex.io constantly as one of my pools for months and months non stop and also multipool so please don't tell me I am a pool hopper.  I was trying to use your site for lotto as MP and cex.io obviously don't do those coins.
I would of mined for ages had you and your site not been so bad so don't go accusing me of being a hopper just to divert the attention away from yourself.
I have many miners in many pools, just not going to be any ever again in yours, hate liars with a passion.

Kestrel71 - stop your ranting you know how it works and if not let me explain what he has already explained:
he 'promised you' that you will be paid in the assumption you would continue mining and then you would obviously participate in the next block after the orphan - hence meaning a payout..
you otoh stick to your bad accusations w/o spending time to understand how it works - which he has gone at lengths to explain to you. you just don't want to accept what is clear - open your eyes and understand how the technicalities works..
you unfortunately decided to leave the pool during an orphan, or a bit into the next block - had you continued just a while longer, into a valid block, you would have had your payout and all your bad accusations would have been unnecessary.. you just decided to stop mining before you could participate in the full block completion..
The pool is alright and everything works as expected - if you stay with it..

>> And getting from 15-20 coins a day down to just 1 or 2 does not look right..

It is possible. Please do not solo-mine at this time. Join a pool. I do it right at the beginning even I have rigs of 10000KH/s - 12000KH/s. I really hate multipools which can add 1 - 2 GH/s to the network in a few second. If they join DMD network for a few hour, they cause DMD diff skyrocket. However, it is part of the game, zero-sum game.

The nice feature that you can find in DMD is that when multipools leave the network, diff will be re-targeted immediately in the next block (every minute on average) to keep transaction time consistent

DMD is hot. That's why many miners join us to help strengthen the network. As a result, each miner will earn less than before. If you mined BTC 10-12 months ago, you would see the exact situation. Most of miners would lost if Bitcoin did not increase in price even with miners who own ASIC machines.

DMD is extremely undervalued right now. At the moment, I buy DMD more than I mine it. Personally, I believe that DMD should be priced at 4 USD (same or higher than Franko).

PS: I am not DMD dev. I am a trader, miner, coin hoarder. I am going long for DMD.

ok thanks for your answer..
why is it not listed here http://cryptmarketcap.com ?

not sure if I need to unlock, or if it's necessary, my EAC wallet for cgminer solo-mining?
I did the walletpassphrase input - but pops a -1 error..

It looks like you are new to DMD mining

There are 2 main points you need to understand when mining DMD these days

+ DMD is one of the hottest coins in CW. Therefore, network hash rate soars several times a day because of multipools. Simple math will never work for you.  Simple estimate will never be true
+ DMD re-targets its diff every block. There is no such "same diff"

Take a look at http://diamondblocks.info/ to see how many coin are generated every day

I'm not new to mining..
I'm not talking about poolmining..
I know how many coins are made every day - that is e.g. stated in the OP..
If it is so popular in the Coin World how come it's not listed here http://cryptmarketcap.com ?
And getting from 15-20 coins a day down to just 1 or 2 does not look right.. Yes over a longer period of time it would look logic and right, but not when happening overnight..
Even if diff goes up and down and multipools increase their effort it would go gradually downwards - not overnight.. But true - you may have made the new wallet/client? to overnight eliminate chances for solomining making a buck and leave it to the pools.. I'm not a programmer so what do I know..

But hey - it's a free world - so I'm going to put my hash onto something else..

ok - many coins being mined - but otoh the earth is big and if they want the coin to be big amongst people on the streets there need to be many coins available..

Hmmm... What is so amazing about a new exchange?

It would be more amazing if EAC would be possible to trade on the already existing exchanges.

I am not saying Incryptex will be bad, but let's be realistic about this, the majority of the traders are not going to come to a new exchange and thus it would be much more interesting if we'd see EAC on an already existing one...

..or how about everyone from existing exchanges will be scrambling to a new (aka: better) one Smiley

What a load of shit it has been discussed about 5 times, i read this forum a few times a day because i have bought a lot of DMD, im in fact one if not the biggest holder, that is the reason i check so often and the dev's have answered too this accusation over and over again, your all trolls or your all bitches, one of the two or both, this is getting ridiculous.

You need to wash your mouth with soap - and learn the correct use of your and you're - if you are a native English speaker that is - which I'm not BTW.
Yes of course you are worried about the reputation of the coin - you bought 5k+ of them..
But that does not give you the right to behave like you're superior to the rest of us..

Let me underline that I still believe the coin is good - just don't like to see if there is a problem with it - if there is..
Who are the devs..? And what is their answer..?
A simple link will do - refrain from commenting if you can't do it civilized..

I used to solo mine this coin on the older client before takeover, getting about 24 to 30 DMD's a day, right after takeover and new client update, that dropped to 3 to 4 DMD's a day, same hash rate, same net hashrate, almost same diff.  Huh

Same net hash rate, same diff? Are you kidding? Net hash rate skyrockets since the new wallet is released. Before the takeover, the diff is about 0.4. Now the diff is about 2 - 4.5

hmm that is the first time I see a comment which looks like a valid reason for the less incoming coins.. could that really be the reason..?
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Takeover! Update v1.0.2 | NEW website, pool, block-explorer on: January 02, 2014, 09:31:37 AM

The stake portion of this coin never worked for me, coins sat in wallet waiting on nothing  Roll Eyes

I will not attribute the drop in solo mining to luck, because i gave it a full week on the new client, same result day after day. The pools were not doin better neither, as I registered at a pool to watch the net hashrate, and how often they find blocks, the pool i was watching dropped miserably with same percentage rate to the net rate. So it was not only me or my luck.  Angry something fishy happened after last update.

It could be an honest mistake the new devs did with the client, but as I keep coming back and reading this thread it seems lots of people are faced with the same results with no answers from devs. I now moved on and will give the coins another week to see if that stake crap will ever kick in, if not I'll just dump the coins on cryptsy and kiss this coin goodbye

Yep sounds like you have an exact similar situation as myself..!
If the devs will not attend this issue immediately I too will drop this coin and consider it a looser, which I think is a shame.
If you want your coin to be trustworthy and have a big future - the first step is to make sure - and convince the users - there is nothing fishy going on, if that is suspected by the users.
Since there have been no comments from the devs about this - despite numerous comments in this thread - I am starting to think there is indeed something going on that no one want to fix..
If so - rumours will start to spread..and that can't be in anyone's interest..!

Thanks LittleDigger for the nice update Smiley Good Work  Tongue

Not sure if you already know it - but I am currently looking at Cryptsy and SXC/LTC is now listed..
..or has it been all the time w/o me noticing..?

..ahh just re-read your post - you were elaborating over SXC/BTC - I see..

I'm amazed at some of these hashrates on Hackshard, I've seen numbers as high as 107 MH/s.  High powered rigs run at approximately 3 MH/s and draw around 1400W, so all I can imagine is that there's a server farm out there with 33+ rigs drawing 46,200W.

Geezus...

First time I've felt inadequate at 35-40MH/s LOL. His farm is bigger than mine  Cry  Fair play though, that's a big financial investment not to mention the time required to manage them. Must be one heck of an A/C setup too, I'm looking to expand to 70-80MH/s and I've calculated the cooling needs at around 10 tons. He'd be close to 15 tons, or approximately 180,000 BTU.

It's Santa mining - no cooling investment up there on the N P..
..and all the GPUs are toy cards..
..just kidding.. Smiley

No I understand you - some folks invest big time..
Must be pretty confident to make some money back later though..

I firmly believe it will eventually hit the market big time..
BTW - hitting the market - I've always used http://coinmarketcap.com to follow the status but today I learned that there is another list http://cryptmarketcap.com
On that list SXC is not even listed..? Strange I think..
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Takeover! Update v1.0.2 | NEW website, pool, block-explorer on: January 01, 2014, 06:29:24 PM
i'm with danbi's  pool on a few of my cards. works fine..
but I can tell you a bit about my own experience:
until about 4-5 days ago I was solo-mining DMD and I got on average 15 coins a day..!
Now I get 1 or 2 a day if I'm lucky..on my solo-cards that is..
I have a few cards on danbi's pool just to at least get a few more coins secured pr day..
I have also brought up this earlier in this thread but still suspect that something is not right..
even if diff is going up or more hashpower on the whole net - I find it strange to go from 15+ coins per 24 hr to maybe 1 or 2 per 24 hr..

it's a good idea..!
have you thought of making it so that you can decide yourself the rank of your favorite coins - like move up or down - and hide the coins you do not have..?
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Official Sexcoin Thread - Windows Fix for CLIENTs stuck at 400000!!! on: January 01, 2014, 09:02:33 AM
@lavajumper and @vaelrock:

ty for the explanation - gives a nice overview of the process, which filled in the missing knowledge to me.
yes I agree - pool mining is the way..
there are only a very few currencies which I still solo a bit - but will eventually pool mine those as well..

hold your horses - the value of DMD will happen, trust me - try to think deeper and with a long term horizon about it and you will figure..
i'm not gonna say more than this.. people who know - knows Smiley

I have a question to the experts Smiley
I have twice discovered - solo mining - that I have found a block - cgminer - accepted and so forth - and then the wallet pops up that little incoming message - but when I open the wallet nothing is incoming - not even after a while..!?
Is it possible that someone somehow can interfere with your wallet w/o you knowing it - and then redirect the incoming to an outside wallet..?
if so - how can that happen?

when I have encountered this I have deleted the whole wallet dir except the wallet and conf - restarted the qt and waited for the whole chain to be downloaded.
but I continue to suspect something wrong because I am still losing a lot of coins which I normally mine over one day - not even just a bit less due to increased diff - but a lot less - almost to a standstill..
