According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Hmmm... What is so amazing about a new exchange?

It would be more amazing if EAC would be possible to trade on the already existing exchanges.

I am not saying Incryptex will be bad, but let's be realistic about this, the majority of the traders are not going to come to a new exchange and thus it would be much more interesting if we'd see EAC on an already existing one...

Seems like these guys are pulling the correct moves thus far im sure listing on Cryptsy will be part of the the game plan.(once they can agree the size of BigVerns bribe!)

If they can pull off a new exchange with EAC-USD in a timely fashion that would be a major victory and would im sure you'll agree suck up a considerable amount of new users.

Not saying I am a gypsy.  But I am going to wager that EVERYONE comes to Incryptex. Wink  All just chit/chat right now.  We will revisit the truth of the matter in a year and you can let me know what you think.  Wink

What's the best EAC pool right now? I've been with hackshardgaming for the past week or so but things have really REALLY slowed down there.... Not sure if it's the difficulty or something else.

Yeah, the owner seems to go from "few pools, good service" to "I take everything I can, suck it up", creating a pool for every new coin.

2nd: i had login troubles too. Was at my computer @ work. When i enter login details, i get the loginpage again... Was on IE.

Back home @ firefox, it worked like charm again. I recon it could be the browser / settings. Have you tried other browser like chrome / firefox / IE ?

yes - IE 11 here - out of principle I only use IE as browser..
tried delete all in safety - but didn't help..
only happens with that site..

Out of sheer morbid curiousity, what principle? I've used IE for one thing in the last decade: Downloading firefox on a new install. The lack of trouble by comparison has been vastly relieving. I hate Chrome, though I like a couple of chromium based browsers, particularly Comodo Dragon. IE never does what I want and constantly messes up the display unless it's specifically formatted for it, rather than generic HTML. Not as bad in later versions, but still..

I have, in the past, had severe issues logging into various fora with IE. Was one of the reasons I dumped it back in the last century. Note that I am NOT a Microsoft hater. I've used their o/s in many incarnations since the early 80's and prefer Windows to everything else I've tried. Ubuntu is a close second, but it is only second.

It is on CoinEx and CoinedUp already. I'm sure Cryptsy is not far behind.
