There are many pools now, not only two! Check the OP.

My advice is to stay away from minar.cc as they don't pay the bonus blocks (and they don't bother to reply to our complaints and make right what they owe!). dmdpool.net has a very slow website, but its stratum mining backend works perfectly.

I have DMD 13.57227065 Unconfirmed - http://coinminer.net:8000/dmd/index.php - for many many weeks now, all their pools appear to be dead.

MultiPool.Us has a DMD Pool while CoinEX.PW doesn't.

I got minting to work in DMD in Ubuntu, though not as securely as I'd like. From the QT client: Help -> Debug -> Console -> walletpassphrase (yourwalletpasswordhere) 999999 true. Takes a few minutes to unlock. Doesn't say it's "minting", just says "Wallet is encrypted and currently unlocked"

i reached that status too by following  some PPC guide

i just wana know how much minting coins i can expect and when it starts?

if i have as example 1000 coins in my wallet they need to wait 30days until mintings starts?
and once i generated 1 coin all 1000 coins reset to 30 days wait again? please some dev describe the POS part of DMD

Ack! All the PoS bits need to be explained like I'm five. Not everyone can read c++.

We will make an extended guide about PoS.

hold your horses - the value of DMD will happen, trust me - try to think deeper and with a long term horizon about it and you will figure..
i'm not gonna say more than this.. people who know - knows Smiley

all i can see is every week we see a few new coins released
we must be clearly visible different from that shit

i wana see our value per coin rate at nr2 on all charts just behind BTC even ahead of LTC

for now example http://coinmarketcap.com/ we are just far far away from the top and battle with crap coins

I agree with this. With so many coins coming out, it's easy to get lost in the shuffle. Having a great product does not guarantee its success - there are a number of forces at play.

Is anyone getting anywhere near the estimated amount when mining DMD?

Ive been mining for a good few days now and id say im not even getting 1/3 of the estimates on http://dmdpool.net its crazy.
mining with 3000 khash, rejects etc all look fine, it just seems like block discovery is absolutely miles off. Infact looking at the pools discovery its at 255% for the last 7 days and 170% for the month?
That cannot be right? almost makes having a difficulty level totally irrelevant when your so far off the mark even with 10-20% of the network hash power at any given moment.

Is there something fundamentally wrong with this coin? I expect fluctuations - but i wouldnt exepect it to be so far out over such a duration with so much of the network hash and so few orphans being thrown.

Thanks.

I brought this up a few pages back but still no satisfactory explanation. Is multipool paying out any better? I'm done with dmdpool.

Right glad its not just me that noticed.

i'm with danbi's  pool on a few of my cards. works fine..
but I can tell you a bit about my own experience:
until about 4-5 days ago I was solo-mining DMD and I got on average 15 coins a day..!
Now I get 1 or 2 a day if I'm lucky..on my solo-cards that is..
I have a few cards on danbi's pool just to at least get a few more coins secured pr day..
I have also brought up this earlier in this thread but still suspect that something is not right..
even if diff is going up or more hashpower on the whole net - I find it strange to go from 15+ coins per 24 hr to maybe 1 or 2 per 24 hr..

Is anyone else having wallet sync issues?  I am able to connect to multiple peers, but the number of blocks out of sync never decreases.  The DMD wallet is the only one that I seem to have this issue with.

I used to solo mine this coin on the older client before takeover, getting about 24 to 30 DMD's a day, right after takeover and new client update, that dropped to 3 to 4 DMD's a day, same hash rate, same net hashrate, almost same diff.  Huh
The stake portion of this coin never worked for me, coins sat in wallet waiting on nothing  Roll Eyes

I will not attribute the drop in solo mining to luck, because i gave it a full week on the new client, same result day after day. The pools were not doin better neither, as I registered at a pool to watch the net hashrate, and how often they find blocks, the pool i was watching dropped miserably with same percentage rate to the net rate. So it was not only me or my luck.  Angry something fishy happened after last update.

It could be an honest mistake the new devs did with the client, but as I keep coming back and reading this thread it seems lots of people are faced with the same results with no answers from devs. I now moved on and will give the coins another week to see if that stake crap will ever kick in, if not I'll just dump the coins on cryptsy and kiss this coin goodbye

Yep sounds like you have an exact similar situation as myself..!
If the devs will not attend this issue immediately I too will drop this coin and consider it a looser, which I think is a shame.
If you want your coin to be trustworthy and have a big future - the first step is to make sure - and convince the users - there is nothing fishy going on, if that is suspected by the users.
Since there have been no comments from the devs about this - despite numerous comments in this thread - I am starting to think there is indeed something going on that no one want to fix..
If so - rumours will start to spread..and that can't be in anyone's interest..!

Same net hash rate, same diff? Are you kidding? Net hash rate skyrockets since the new wallet is released. Before the takeover, the diff is about 0.4. Now the diff is about 2 - 4.5
