341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings? on: September 19, 2018, 10:01:32 PM
It would be discouraging if a bounty stays longer without paying reasonably, instead of participating in a bounty that will last for 8 months, would be preferable to join in the one that will last 3 months such that within such period one must have participated in a number of about 3 different campaigns, if they all didn't pay, at least one would have had more options. Still agree with a lot of posters with the longth has nothing to do with the success or failure of a project
342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: THE IMPORTANCE OF THE MANY EXCHANGES on: September 19, 2018, 08:50:20 PM
I am only particularly worried about the genuinety of these emerging exchanges, a lot of exchanges have crashed in the past and so many made away with people's funds, the proliferation is good, at least it will give a wider option for traders to make choices and listing to be made easier but these exchanges to be regulated should be more worthwhile.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CNBC Bitcoin Indicator on: September 19, 2018, 08:37:12 PM
Well, recently it seems like CNBC's indicator has predicted the exact opposite of the market movement, the last 3 times CNBC have been bullish on BTC's price we have seen a decline pretty much right after. Very suspicious, or perhaps CNBC has just lost its touch.
Thank you very much for pointing out this, I have known CNBC's analysis to be FUD motivated, it is not a norm to always give a unilateral direction of movement in analysis without an option of 'if not', they truly lost touch of this one
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just one coin... on: September 19, 2018, 08:32:42 PM
The interesting aspect of bitcoin is its use in the payment system without the need of a third party, the only challenge is this value fluctuations as regards its need for goods payment, but I think some payment procrssrs have the option of instant fiat conversion after receipt. Bitcoin is a revolutionary
345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell car for Bitcoin on: September 19, 2018, 08:17:48 PM
I totally do not have anything against anyone that decided to take whatever risk he chose, the choice would have gone in his way and he would be laughing big but because you think bitcoin has no sign of getting there, you decided to bring this here to scorn him. It is his choice, I will be against him if he actually did if it was his only car and possibly serves him some valueable purposes
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make cash without investing? on: September 15, 2018, 12:14:36 PM
Bounty hunting is a really big task, had never wanted to participate in it because of the long duration it requires before one gets paid, but having one or two testimonies, I decided to take part, it is a game of chance, hardwork and luck, no guaranteed payment here, learn the process and requirements to get started, have benefited from airdrops though
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: September 15, 2018, 11:59:48 AM
Ico rating sites should be one of those reference points to making decisions and choices. The rating are based on facts and informations available to the rating sites, the proper homework should be done before investments and not limited to the informations and ratings by the ICO rating sites
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin/USDT, Coin/ETH, Coin/BTC which one is better ? or all is good ? on: September 13, 2018, 10:10:59 PM
It all depends on the prevailing market situation, if in bull market, it will be wise to trade coin /btc, this is because at any point you can sell for btc and will still have increased value in btc as its growth continues while in a bear market, it is coin/Usdt, at that moment one would always prefer to preserve the value of his coins and since usdt does not change in value, it provides a good hedge for value in
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to buy! on: September 13, 2018, 10:07:08 PM
This is the obvious truth but the question is how long are you willing to wait, Will you be able to withdstand more falls as you buy, remember that trading has some part of emotions in play, Again how much fund are you willing to lose while you invest, all these are questions begging for answers before making such decisions, Certainly this will bounce back, but no one knows how soon and when, the advise should be to invest and forget this for long
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Investment for 1 year on: September 13, 2018, 09:59:41 PM
Timing is off essence when it comes to investment, If you had invested in alts at the time of making this post, you should be at almost 70% loss in alts if not more and may need to wait much longer to recover before making profit but anyone that had invested at current level will have better chances
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if Bounty is scam? on: September 13, 2018, 09:52:48 PM
It is impossible to guess in advance what will happen to the project in a few months or weeks. Sometimes there are unpleasant surprises and strong projects turn into scammers.
.Would have added that some looked down on projects may eventually turn out good, It is not all about the hype and legit appearing projects that eventually make it, there could be this much neglected one that will eventually catch people's attention on launch, hydro taught me a lesson
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First bounty Experience till 10000$ on: September 12, 2018, 03:47:32 PM
Very inspiring of what you have shared, it is very appaling that a lot of participants currently a filled with a distaste of how bad the market is and how unrewarding some bounties are and forgetting that this is a game of luck and chance, while some is groaning somewhere another person is participating in a particular bounty that will make him share this kind of testimonies again, the year is not ended yet and most bounties are planning to conclude theirs towards year end, who knows if the market will get better then and your efforts now will get you a better pay then while you have been discouraged this time and left
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any signature bounty campaign for newbies ?? on: September 12, 2018, 03:24:07 PM
I think it is difficult to find project that allows newbie as like me participating. so we have to do effort to make our rank up.
Some kryptical bounty campaigns usually admit for newbies also, have checked two of their ongoing campaigns and newbies are allowed to participate, the signature I am already wearing already has one for newbies
354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a required amount before you start trading? on: September 11, 2018, 01:14:41 PM
I think trading skill and the knowledge is more important than the capital, a skilled and well knowledgeable person can start with $100 and grow it to over $1000 whereas the inept person can blow a capital of $1000 in 1week.... Whatever you can afford to start with, as long as it is equally to the minimum requirements for trade in some exchanges, one can start with it
355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about new Bittrex platform? on: September 11, 2018, 01:10:08 PM
Bittrex was once the preferred exchange until Binance came, they have a very good exchange with huge volume, my only challenge and why I preferred using Binance is because Bittrex yet do not have a mobile app like binance and Binance have made trading easier with their use of mobile app, I equally tried linking my bittrex api to tabtrader but it wasn't successful. Bittrex is better for those who could stay 24/7 in front of their laptops to trade
356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you share your trading experiences? on: September 11, 2018, 01:03:33 PM
Joined the trading during the last year bull run where I was told to never sell any coin at a loss, that there will always be a return profit for every buy, and it actually happened but now the case became different, in a bull market it was a continuous profit, no matter the amount of coin you have at a loss just give it sometime it will return to profit, but in this case, it is so much different as the coins are obviously dumping and never returning, so have sold a lot of trades at loss and it is not a pleasant one, I have to learn how to to apply stop loss to trading and it is helping
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this year will be bad year for ICOS? on: September 10, 2018, 09:05:21 PM
I think the year is already coming to an end and crypto have already seen it's worst, a lot of ICO's were however successful and certainly so many couldn't see the light of the day as they were not even able to meet their softcap, several others were obvious scams but a serial ICO investor would have counted his gains or loss by the year end. Generally it wasn't all rosy and has not been for ICO's especially this later part of the year, I am optimistic of more successful ones towards year end
358  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think the markets will collapse on: September 10, 2018, 08:57:16 PM
If going by your definition of collapse, then I will say it is very possible, if total marketcap could fall from almost $800B to $500B and recently dropping to around $190B, then $150B is not far, but however I am thinking that is about the lowest it can get to, the crypto market is not totally predictable, but you can obviously see a real downtrend when it is its season just like we are in now
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are most new tokens Ethereum ICOs? on: August 29, 2018, 10:38:49 PM
Being at the top of the popular coins and being notable for providing a platform for smart contract development, It was made easier and cheaper, more than 30% of coins are all etherium based coins and because of it's reliability and success, a lot of projects emanates from it
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs BTC transaction speed. Who is better and faster? on: August 29, 2018, 07:40:36 PM
I think their speed is relative to the amount of transaction fee paid, but I would say eth is faster with the fact that it could charge the same fee btc will charge to send same amount but eth will deliver faster
