341  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Twelverized 12% Daily Profit For 12 Days On Bitcoins on: March 19, 2014, 01:48:15 AM
From their March 14th news:

Quote
I am very glad to introduce our Twelverized Skype Group, with the corroboration of Farid and VIP marketing leaders, weve created a Skype Group which is moderated by myself and Dr. Lieven VanNeste.

It look like Dr. Lieven VanNeste is the same guy who ran the stuff for the Leancy scam (<https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448250.480>) although I haven't actually done any research.

Is this cause to panic?  Should I not put another 12$ in?  I've also had a withdrawal pending for almost 24 hours now, although I don't know if anyone else is having these issues.

Funny how just after posting his name they stop paying

Simply remarkable.

just got paid 15.6BTC from LEANCY!

I doubt you did
343  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [SCAM] Leancy Ltd - Bitcoin Investment - 150% Return & 5% Daily Interest on: March 14, 2014, 12:46:53 AM
Gentlemen the only way to do this right is to make the complaint to the government of the United States,

they have a website dedicated to the fraud,

we are not detectives, stop playing

www.sec.gov/complaint/tipscomplaint.shtml

+1 to that. Everyone should do this.
Especially if the site is hosted in the US, the offshore safe haven this is presumed to May not apply.
344  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [SCAM] Leancy Ltd - Bitcoin Investment - 150% Return & 5% Daily Interest on: March 13, 2014, 03:47:37 PM
Shall we try to dox out beloved "Dooctor"?   Cool

Actually isn't hard.

Here is a bitcoin address he used in the past based on a transaction ID from one of his videos.
https://blockchain.info/address/1AB4UkuiTcmWEYAbgRHgMuBuYPSyRPkcXL?offset=0&filter=0

"drlieven.com" redirects to a page of his called residualincome.tv. The .TV site has masked whois information but the Dr Lieven site has what seems to be real info:
http://www.whois.com/whois/drlieven.com

Registrant Name: Lieven Van Neste
Registrant Organization:
Registrant Street: Victoria Boulevard
Registrant City: Vilamoura
Registrant State/Province: West-Vlaanderen
Registrant Postal Code: 8125
Registrant Country: Belgium
Registrant Phone: 351969815833

Email "vannestelieven@yahoo.com"

Searching for other websites registered to that email address we come up with "skypetools.net" the whois data USED TO list the same street and city - but a different province and country - this time portugal

Registrant Name: Lieven Van Neste
Registrant Organization:
Registrant Street: Victoria Boulevard
Registrant City: Vilamoura
Registrant State/Province: Algarve
Registrant Postal Code: B8125
Registrant Country: Portugal
Registrant Phone: 969815833

Searching his name with "Belgium" brings up a Linkedin profile listing him as the Financial Director of a Recycling Company:
http://be.linkedin.com/pub/lieven-van-neste/12/514/38a

Looking at the recycling company website he does not currently hold this positon.
http://www.casier.com/index1.asp?menuId=21

But, there is a document on the website from 2002 with his name at the bottom. I don't speak belgian so I don't know what it says otherwise.
PDF! http://www.casier.com/write/files/Aan-%20en%20verkoopsvoorwaarden/Dutch/Algemene%20aankoopvoorwaarden.pdf

Searching the email further points us in the direction of Irving Texas.
There's this:
http://www.spokeo.com/search?q=Lieven+Vanneste,+Irving,+TX&sao10=t106#:6649998371

I forget where I saw it but another site had his DOB in 1960 which matches the 53 years old indicated on this site.

This may or may not be his family tree and the names of his children.
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/b/o/l/Deborah-Bolser-NJ/ODT1-0001.html

So, I don't really know. Perhaps he's a belgian ex-pat living in texas. Perhaps all these addresses are fake. That does seem to be his real name.

Welp.

On to flagging as scam every video that leiven asshole uploads to youtube. That will be a mild inconvenience for that dickbag.

I mean, I'd honestly prefer a scammer to a dickbag. And that guy is a dickbag.

346  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Leancy Ltd - Bitcoin Investment - 150% Return & 5% Daily Interest (FREE $5 BTC) on: March 12, 2014, 11:07:16 PM
if you try to widthdraw btc it stays as "pending" indefinitely. I doubt it will ever go through.

I got .6 of my .9 btc back. Guess it could be worse.  Undecided
347  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Leancy Ltd - Bitcoin Investment - 150% Return & 5% Daily Interest (FREE $5 BTC) on: March 11, 2014, 11:39:53 PM
Well - one of the skype rooms is back up. So - that's, a mild something positive I guess. Even though it's just Leiven spamming a message about a technical problems with withdrawals.
348  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Leancy Ltd - Bitcoin Investment - 150% Return & 5% Daily Interest (FREE $5 BTC) on: March 11, 2014, 11:21:19 PM
Yeah if you look at the wallet it's sending 1btc, 5btc amounts to various wallets that have also gotten small payouts from the program. They seem to be taking the money and running. I hope I'm wrong.
349  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Leancy Ltd - Bitcoin Investment - 150% Return & 5% Daily Interest (FREE $5 BTC) on: March 11, 2014, 06:59:13 PM
Withdrawals aren't working right now. I know they use blockchain for payments so there's an extremely strong likleihood the issues blockchain were experiencing earlier are at the root of this.

They probably have to manually restart their payment script or something to that effect. No need to panic for at least a few more hours.
350  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: March 11, 2014, 01:54:35 PM
Still looks like it's going to stay at about 13% this increase and that's not bad.

I feel like and or am hoping that even with terahash units shipping difficulty increases will at least become more linear and less exponential.
351  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: March 11, 2014, 01:45:14 PM
Explain their behaviour in a non-scammer way then?

You can't.

My point was only to ensure that this page didn't just turn into a circle jerk between PBmining shill accounts about whether or not they can log into their account

In not a shill, just a so-far satisfied customer.

And in terms of explaining their actions - maybe he doesn't want to reveal his mining addresses because he mines on eligius and to do so would reveal his stats pages. Perhaps he's worried about someone trying to change his settings. Or track his other purchases. Or realize he has a bunch of hashing power he isn't selling.

So yeah. There are explanations. I don't see compelling evidence one way or the other
352  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: March 10, 2014, 08:28:11 PM
I'm able to log in fine.

Yes I am a customer - and yes I have a link to an OBVIOUS ponzi in my signature but hey, at least I'm up front about that.

While I don't understand why PBmining doesn't want their coins traced - I do think that they are not adding capacity fast enough to be a ponzi scheme. Just my two cents. I've never seen any real evidence for them being a scam, yet I've never seen any evidence against. I'm inclined to trust but that may be a flaw of mine. We'll see. They've been great so far!
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good thing for two-factor authentication. Coinbase account definitely hacked. on: March 10, 2014, 06:47:09 PM
I mean, I'd argue that it is safe BECAUSE of the 2 factor auth. It did exactly what it was supposed to, no?
354  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: March 10, 2014, 04:56:35 AM
Yes I'm kicking myself hard for assuming Electrum would adjust this for me automatically.  This happened last Sunday too and I didn't learn.

If I am late I will offer some form of compensation for breaking our Sunday guarantee.  Perhaps adding 6 hours worth of bitcoins to the next pay period would be a sufficient apology?

Still an hour and a half left.

I mean, don't let me speak for everyone - but I don't think any compensation is needed. All my transactions confirmed 12 minutes ago apparently - still before GMT -6.

(you have the benefit of daylight savings time on your side anyway - GMT doesn't change :-D )
355  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Leancy Ltd - Bitcoin Investment - 150% Return & 5% Daily Interest (FREE $5 BTC) on: March 10, 2014, 04:30:12 AM
There was something weird going on before where the site wouldn't show up on my computer, but it loaded fine through my phone (over cellular). Whatever the issue was it's now cleared up - and a withdrawal I made came through and was confirmed.

I wouldn't be worried about the deposit, the site is up and running I'm sure if the transaction was confirmed, it was confirmed.
356  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: March 10, 2014, 04:10:24 AM
I've been really happy with the service so far but maybe we can be a little less stingy with the transaction fees next time? I have 4 transactions unconfirmed after 4 hours. - 3 of them aren't even showing up on blockchain yet. The one that is notes that the transaction fee is less than recommended.

I'm sure they'll confirm eventually - but just a suggestion, maybe up the fee a little bit going forward. .
357  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Invest now and get 50% Daily for 4 days on: March 08, 2014, 03:51:34 PM
No it's official. Idiot.
358  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Leancy Ltd - Bitcoin Investment - 150% Return & 5% Daily Interest (FREE $5 BTC) on: March 07, 2014, 10:04:21 PM

That's what happened to me. It means you got banned.
I asked nicely in the Skype room and was reinstated. The FB page is apparently like, unofficial... run by that Leiven guy who apparently doesn't work for the company? (and uses the internet in the manner of a 14 year old girl?)

But yeah. That's the FB group - you just can't see it cause your'e banned.
359  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Leancy Ltd - Bitcoin Investment - 150% Return & 5% Daily Interest (FREE $5 BTC) on: March 07, 2014, 03:43:52 PM
my pending withdrawls for the 4th, 5th, 6th were deleted....seems like the database resets back to the 3rd....

I had my pending withdrawal cancelled as well. I find it kind of funny that while the site was down no interest was accrued. I guess they don't make any money on their IT investments when the site is down!  Roll Eyes If they are not going to tell us what they invest in or what their business model is, then it leaves a lot of questions left to be answered. I'm just hoping for the best now!

Here's some information on Leancy's business model and investments,

If they're scammers, they're doing an awfully bad job of running off with everyone's money.

The fact that they don't guarantee a minimum daily return and the fact that your earnings are capped at 150% might actually make their model sustainable.

On their page they openly say that of each deposit 30% is distributed among the investors and 70% is "invested". Lets say those "Investments" are someone's "pockets" - there's no reason for them to run off with everyone's money. They can keep profiting, you can keep profiting.

I'm not saying take a second mortgage to invest your net worth in the thing - but I simply can't see those guys working so hard to play PR and get the site working at the same time if their plan was actually to make a run with the money later.

Yes their online identities are clearly bogus - which could be an attempt to evade accountability in the event that they run off - or it could be simply that the admins have very foreign sounding names they thought would scare people off. Maybe they just came up with the idea that the site would do better if it seemed like a silicon alley startup rather than some crazy russian scheme.

It's speculative to put money in there and it's risky - but to be honest I'm not sure it's any more risky than simply putting money into bitcoin. Either way, there exists a chance for you to lose damn near all of your value. I for one like that game - but I'm not what one might call risk-averse.

Anyway - processed a payout this morning which came through instantaneously. Here's hoping the trend continues.

Yeah. No incoming deposits. I'll give OP until tomorrow morning then i thrash his rep. Hope my dollar was worth it. I didn't get the extra shot in my latte today to compensate! Jerk.
