if you had your yobit account while yovi deposits where enabled and you generated a new address and saved it, then it will work now as well (till they fix it)

I purchased YOVI when it first came out, always had the same account and never changed deposit address, and I'm getting the same error message on the deposit screen as others have shared on this thread.

Also, have just under 2 YOVI left, once that order sells I'll have a half order to hand off and I'll have all my YOVI sold completely. Bought 43 at 2200 for 1mBTC, after the next batch is sold I'll have .2 BTC in sales. not too shabby at all.

it seems you didnt save it (as in: make a copy of the address somewhere), the screen is shown to everybody but the address generated before still works (but isnt shown)

Try

sgminer -k lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://xzc.suprnova.cc:1596 -u USERNAME.x -p x -I 18

i have added the intensity setting, but it still crashes (error is -11 not -1, sorry)

I already implemented new zcoin changes you can download from here with source and binaries:

https://mega.nz/#F!HRoSACxY!rF7r9kD9O7dJr-i8oEs3wA

it seems i fail to compile with the following error:

Code:
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile
config.status: creating compat/Makefile
config.status: creating compat/jansson/Makefile
config.status: creating cpuminer-config.h
config.status: executing depfiles commands
algo/argon2/.deps/cpuminer-argon2a.Po:1: *** multiple target patterns.  Stop.
strip: 'cpuminer': No such file

im running the included build.sh script in ubuntu 16

100 more blocks to go and no working AMD miners...

good news for nvidia owners haha Cheesy

New Port to mine with after the fork to the new Algo will be 1596 on https://xzc.suprnova.cc - only new miners will work, not the old ones. New miners should be posted here shortly

your pool is already working on testnet right? i see accepted hashrate with the new miners and that port

Yes, i'll just switch the ports to mainnet once we've hit that block

small typo on suprnova web page: port: 1569

Both will work, 1569 and 1596 Smiley

i just tested my miner setup and 1569 didnt work, thats how i noticed, i suppose it will be enabled later

have you taken a look at the xmr-stak-cpu miner? without hugepages its only slightly faster than cpuminer-opt, but with hugepages its significantly faster (90-100h/s -> 130-150h/s)

i wondered whether it is possible to also utilize hugepages with cpuminer-opt to gain this significant speedup as well

src is here: https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak-cpu

i really dont like this miner, no cli options, only config file, no api, only some "web interface", would be great to use cpuminer-opt instead Cheesy

There are a few issues with large pages, like needing to be setup in the OS, need to run as admin on Win.
I need to investigate further.

yes, i have tested the miner on windows, you will need some os settings to be done for it to work (in linux its the same, but easier through grub, i have not tested it there though)
but you can always fall back to "normal" mining without hugepages, as the miner currently also does
i suppose if hugepages support is possible other memory bound algos can be improved as well, hope you can work the hugepages stuff out for cpuminer-opt Smiley

cheers

Anybody tried to mine cryptonight coins on CPU i3 4170 3.7 GHz by cpuminer-opt v3.5.5? I want to compare miners.
if you own it you could just run it

might have just been that the starting diff was higher than ideal so the first share will take a while

the miner have some blue and red led indicating if its mining or not, the time between flashing (not mining) and constant color is very small for me
Ill check that tonight. I was going by "share" times posted on the pools.

Edit: I checked on the rig. The lights do indeed show only a short window where no mining occurs, but I still see about a 60-second gap on the pool side with no shares. I don't know if this is related to the refresh rate at the pool though, it could be the shares are accumulated but only accounted in 1-minute intervals.
you can easily check the submitted and accepted shares in the webUI of the miner itself, also compare the diff when running for some time (optimal vardiff that is) to the initial vardiff after switching, higher diff = longer time till share, but higher paying amount for this share(s)

I haven't had too much problem with the SD cards. Each time I get a new rig, I first configure it, then I "save" the SD card to my NAS, so I can restore if needed.
It may have just been a bad batch of cards--it's a nominal expense and good troubleshooting practice.
i downloaded the factory orange pi image for use if one card breaks, till now all sd cards working fine for me
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL GROUPBUY 3 - Giant Special on: February 07, 2017, 08:48:56 PM
welcome to the third Groupbuy,

I am working with the closely with Baikal, we have coome up with a super special deal.

10% off the listed price ; from $2380 to $2142

on top of this we are offering free shipping to all customers who order more than 1 Giant

get in fast, this is a limited time promotion, as you know things change fast in this game.

if you have a large order contact us

Cheers

one thing i have noticed though, the giant price was not decreased as much as the mini/quadrupel price

mini 500->300
quad 2000->1200
giant 2980->2380

it should be 1780 (6*300 -20)

will probably only get quads if it isnt reduced as the others as i get two quads for the same price as of now

no giants this time?

i have done something similar, but without rolling avg, only current live stats

previously a bash script as well, parsing json with jq

then opted for a manager for all my baikal miner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1712609.0
I started that way to, but found it was making my miner flop all over the place. Added the 5-min average to make sure the profit was stable before I swapped.
May miss a few spikes in price, but I feel it's better in the long run to prevnt all the restarts and lost mining during the restarts.

i found the restart only takes about 1-2 seconds, might be worth the time for a switch on nicehash (certainly not on other "normal" pools)

the manager also restarts the miner, tbh i was more concerned with the microsd lifespan when querying the stats all the time, but i figured it will survive just fine

what "flopping" are you referring too?
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Baikal-Manager on: February 07, 2017, 05:27:18 PM
So, you install this directly on the Baikal rig itself and just add the extra required packages and it works?
I would like to give that a try.

i have not personally tested this method, but it should work as well

i keep my instance running in a linux container

If your app is periodically establishing connection, but then instead of actually mining on them, just terminating them, then you get yourself periodically banned for doing this.

We have strict anti-DDOS rules and such behaviour qualifies as an attack.

well this is unfortunate, how to check the stratum availability without triggering those bans?

unfortunately most miner developers dont want to implement failover (except sgminer, but only conf files afaik)

What exactly do you mean by "check stratum availability"? Our stratums are always available Wink

If you need to check profitability, use this: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=simplemultialgo

well, sometimes they are not, i noticed this on my asics as they support failover pools and some hash is getting to the backup pool on a daily basis, probably just some minutes, but still

currently the stratum availability is verified by sending mining.subscribe and mining.authorize with the configured btc addr and pass to check if the stratum responds as intended

any failure before or during this test will mark the stratum as unavailable, this could be a simple invalid btc addr, a dns issue on the host, offline stratum servers or high latency network issues

sometimes when the frontend is down for maintenance the stratum is too (rare, but it happens), in such cases the miner should switch to backup pool and to nicehash back after its working again

yiimp and mph are both working great, they dont seem to implement such a banning solution

edit: it would be great if you could reduce the ddos "connections per second" definition to sane values, i approximate about 12-15 connection establishments per minute from two ips from my home, a ddos would likely be 15 connection attempts per second or more?

i could also increase the checking interval from 1 to 2 minutes, doubling the timespan and thus halving the connection attempts per timeframe

edit2: i dont know exactly how sgminer does it, but if i setup nicehash as a backup pool the addr will also be banned just by sgminer verifiying the backup pool from time to time i suppose

if sgminer does it by having a single connection open all the time (and thus not opening/closing new connections) i could implement that as well, but unfortunately i dont have that kind of a deep understanding of the stratum protocol (keepalive packets?)
