The Los Angeles Kings needs just one more win to lift the 2014 Stanley Cup. Disappointed with the performance of New York Rangers so far. This is going to be a whitewash. Disgraceful.
That last 3 minutes or so with the empty net was painful to watch. Where was the sense of urgency? They barely got the puck out of their own end. Disgusting effort! I almost feel sorry for the fans that paid over $2 grand a ticket just to see their team get shutout. The Rangers are 0-11 all time in a series when trailing 3-0. They forced Game 7 just once in 1939. Swept 6 times. Send in the fat lady for warm up, this ones soon to be over. |

I started smoking back in my nightclub days back in the late 90's. Smoking was still legal inside where i lived and smokes were about $5 bucks a pack. It started out where I'd only smoke when I would drink. Then I found myself smoking outside of the bar hours, one night I was out on my buddies deck freezing my ass of to smoke and gave it up.
Still smoked on and off for a few years though.
Not sure why people even bother to start now. It's over $10 bucks a pack where I live. You can't smoke it in pubs, restaurants, public buildings, etc.
I do however smoke weed from time to time. Usually on weekends when I'm having a few drinks.

It's all but over. It's gonna be 4 straight at this rate. AV proving once again how easily he can be out coached. He's making his team look like the visitors out there. He has the last change and is allowing Sutter to dictate the play. |

These days I've been getting into making my own pizza. Not a fan of the pizza chains these days, and all the small pizza shops pretty much suck that are close by. I have found a great pizza crust that I can buy at a local store. I'm not fan of regular pizza sauce so I end up using Bulls Eye BBQ sauce I cook up some maple bacon to use as bacon bits and then cook some boneless chicken breast in some of the bacon grease and raw chopped up garlic to add flavor. I let it cool a bit and then cut it into pieces. I buy some quality pizza mozzarella and use that for the bottom after the sauce. I then use some thick sliced ham cut into pieces for the first topping. I'll use the chicken next and then put on a second layer of cheese. Lastly, I'll crumble the bacon chunks on top and sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on the top.  |

Agreed. I had a buddy years ago that had to be circumcised in his early 20's, something to do with the foreskin not stretching enough and his erection would be incredibly painful. He went through excruciating pain after the surgery. Guy I work with had it done in his teens, very painful as well apparently So glad I had it done when I was a baby and can't remember it. Then again, whats to say I didn't suffer deep mental trauma from it that hasn't gone away? What if your friend had a heart bypass? Personally I'm glad to live in a country where there isn't a tradition of unthinking mutilation of babies. Don't really see what a heart bypass has to do with a simple surgical procedure that was done when I was extremely young. Considering most women I've been with, and it's been a fair amount, almost all have been glad I was circumcised. Not many women, at least where I live, find an uncircumcised penis attractive. I know many that have told be the refuse blowjobs because of it. I've read through a bunch of the comment sin this thread and it would seem that some take the issue far too seriously. It's foreskin. The penis works just as good without it. If not better, since the health risks aren't there with being uncircumcised. |

Not looking good for The Rangers. Down 2-0 in the series, and now 2-0 in game 3. Lundqvist needs to be lights out for the rest of this game. Don't think it's going to matter much. The way Quick has been playing, even 2 goals to tie the game at this point seem unrealistic.

Well the Kings won game one 3-2 in overtime. Took a bit for me to get into the game but it was a great comeback by the Kings. Gotta give Lundqvist credit for stopping 20 shots in the third period alone. Shame the Rangers couldn't get the win for him.
So painful to watch the Rangers sit back and get shelled in the third. But thats AV hockey, was so frustrating to watch in Vancouver when he would have the team sit back like that. neither team could bury one on the PP. The team that can find their PP scoring could easily win the series.

It's been missing since early March, stil lnot found and the search has been called off for now. Its a sad sad sadddd story!
Huge amounts of money and effort wasted while trying to find the missing plane. I hope that the family members of the victims will at least be able to get the compensation and insurance cover now. Hmm, wasted is a tough word to use. I know what you mean as the search came up empty, but it was a necessary cost to try and find the plane. Of course they had to call it off eventually as they couldn't scour the whole ocean. Must have been an absolutely horrendous time for the family and friends of those involved. I still don't believe that there was a plane to be found. Some group made that plane go missing for whatever reason. In today's day and age a plane that size doesn't go missing without a trace. I'm convinced that it was a test to see what they could get away with, a test to see if they could make a plane and all its passengers and cargo go missing. They wanted to know how long it would take for no one to care anymore. Well now they know. I haven't seen anything on the news, in the papers, anything about it for weeks/months. Oddly enough, he only time I see anything about it, is here. On a bitcoin discussion forum. In this day and age one doesn't go missing? Clearly they do in this case. There have been at least one other too. I'm sure they'll find some debris from it eventually. And a test? C'mon, seriously? Maybe it's a test to see what theories conspiracy nuts can come up with? Say what you want about my theory, it may be a little far fetched, but this plane just didn't crash the way they say it did. i like to keep my facebook as private as possible so any promoting of bitcoin would just be to my friends. Many are not open to it and don't want to see constant posts about it. I pick and choose what I post and I use good bitcoin stories and bad bitcoin stories. No one wants to see a one sided argument. Some have opened up to it and thats whe nI take it to private conversation. Bitcoin really is something that people have to discover on there own. Nothing wrong with the odd post, but really pushing it I find, people just tune out. don't some facebook games require you to spend money to get some powerups? that would be a good idea to incorporate it. it's such a waste of money, but people are willing to spend so why not?
The amount of money that Facebook games rake in is mind blowing. My sister spends hundreds of dollars on Farmville. I just don't get it, it's a fake farm! I play a couple of the stupid games from time to time if I'm bored, but I've never felt the urge to spend money on something that you can play for free. |

A nice baseball cut sirloin or rib eye steak, baked potato, and Caesar salad. Sometimes I'll make my own dressing for the salad but most of the time it's store bought. I'veb become somewhat of a BBQ pro over the past 20 years or so.
I have a real hard time letting someone else BBQ my steak, LOL!
Been thinking about trying to do a steak in a pan on the stove. I hear they can be amazing if cooked right.
I'm using an electric double sided grill for that, they're good but if you want to try this I don't recommend anything thick. Electric grill does best with thin slices as it doesn't get as hot as the gas one. Like a George Foreman grill? I use to use one when I rented an apartment years ago and wasn't allowed a BBQ on the deck. That, and a good cut of beef isn't cheap and I hate wasting food if I screw it up. |

Sorry for your loss OP. My father passed away just over 4 years ago and I hadn't seen him in over a year. Sure we talked often on the phone. But you just think they are gonna be around forever and you'll get around to seeing them. Made me rethink my relationship with a lot of family and friends.
I make sure to talk to my mother every day and tell her that I love her every time we say goodbye to each other. Didn't do that with my father and I still have some guilt that I didn't say it the last time we talked.
It's a sobering reminder from time to time how quickly life can drastically change from the death of a family member or friend.
Again OP, sorry for your loss, but it will get easier as time passes.

Yeah coming back from 3-0 against the Sharks was pretty impressive. Didn't watch much of tonight's game, but I figured Chicago had it. Gonna be an interesting final. LA didn't have muck luck against the Rangers in the regular season, but the finals are a whole new ball game. |

As a Vancouver Canucks fan I find it funny that the coach we fired at the end of last season is now coaching in this years cup final, LOL! I was really hoping Montreal was going to make the final, but with Price being injured, I didn't see it being much of a possibility.
Personally, I'm gonna have to root for the Rangers, not because of AV, but because of Martin St. Louis. Losing his Mom during the playoffs has to make it really hard to concentrate on playing, but he's doing it and contributing with goals. I just think it's fitting that he wins a cup in his Moms honor.
New York won both games they played this year against L.A. by scores of 3-1, and 1-0.
