344  Other / Obsolete (selling) / [Selling] Will draw for bitcoins! on: May 13, 2011, 04:41:09 AM

I did this drawing for eMansipator's topic (http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=7867.0), and it was fun. So, I wanted to see if anyone else was interested in me doing any drawings for bitcoins. I'll do them in ink like that drawing. If you're interested, let me know what you want me to draw and how many btc you can offer. Something like at least 1 btc would be cool, but I'll consider any offer! Please don't be shy! I can also do color with markers for a little more.

Also, if you like what I draw for you, I will even send you the original artwork in the mail for a very small fee + shipping/packing.

My address is: 1GaLzoNQbuJB4hDgY4YBgvjxzPqHkCebgj

You tell me to draw anything you want at all. You can either post here or pm me, and I'll post any drawings I do in here unless you don't want me to.

Let me know what you want me to draw!

Thanks for the coin, just got it! Good work chaos fox! I'm interested to see what the "mysterious potential" is.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to do, when (if) bitcoin hit $1000/BTC? on: May 11, 2011, 07:25:58 AM
I don't have enough coins yet to become a millionaire, but I'd do the same as dlingus, I'd quit working and live my dream of drawing a webcomic full time and also make a video game at some point.

Ok, I inked mine now. Hope you like it!

348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Week In Bitcoin - May 09 through May 15, 2011 on: May 10, 2011, 09:33:27 PM
Thanks for the post! We are living in an exciting time! That bitcoin failing article is hilarious: "Like the gold standard, a successful bitcoin would send our economy back into the dark ages. " Haha! Just the opposite!
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN: People who have sucessfully used bitcoin4cash on: May 10, 2011, 06:58:54 AM
I've used them and I think it took something like a week and a half or two weeks, I can't remember exactly.
350  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all the focus on USD Fiat exchange??? on: May 10, 2011, 06:55:45 AM
I live in the U.S. and it's hard to convince people that the dollar is going to collapse, I've been warning everyone I know to buy gold and silver (and now bitcoin) for years and only 1 person has listened to me about gold/silver and 1 about bitcoin. Most people I know here, even people who are intelligent in other areas, have a huge normalcy bias and don't consider transacting in anything besides usd. It's good to hear that people in other parts of the world are more open.

I love bitcoin, I've been watching it grow since November and I hope someday to do most of my business in bitcoin.
354  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Introducing BitCoinFeedback.com! on: May 09, 2011, 10:56:17 AM
i really like this idea! I am starting to do business using bitcoin now and I'd like people to know they can trust me. I got an error message when I tried to register:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /homepages/44/d217581656/htdocs/bitcoinfeedback/register.php on line 7

Let me know when you figure it out, I'd like to be one of the first to register!
355  Other / Obsolete (selling) / [SELLING] Original art sketch cards by Joey Dangerous (new low price!) on: May 09, 2011, 06:55:47 AM
edit:I was trying to change the prices every time the bitcoin price changed, but it's too hard to keep up, so I'm denominating the prices in dollars converted to btc now. So whatever the rate is when you send the btc is fine. I wish I could keep them in btc, but it's too much to keep up with. Also, I removed the ones that have been sold. Here is the current rate: (Credit to Haxxy for the ticker)

Hi again! This time, I have a bunch of original sketch cards I did recently that I need to get listed on ebay, but I thought I'd see if anyone on here would be interested in them first. I'm not that fond of ebay anyway, and I'm very fond of bitcoin!  Grin

They are all 2.5" by 3.5" (standard trading card size). They are all the original artwork, they are not prints! Each one is one of a kind. They are drawn with a lot of different tools and techniques, the main tools used were brush/ink, and markers. I sign them on the back before I send them out. Also the watermarks are not on the originals of course!

If there are any you're interested in, please let me know which row number and position it is in and I'll hold it for you. The rates are based generally on how long the card took me to draw. For packing and shipping, please add $2 in btc for any number of them to the lower 48. It's a little more for international, probably something like $4 in btc would cover it. I ship them in sleeves inside of heavy top loader cases and backed by hard cardboard so they won't get damaged. I've shipped hundreds of cards this way all over the world and haven't had any problems yet!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Ok, here are the cards:

These cards are $5 in btc each:

358  Other / Off-topic / Re: Political compass! (who believes what?) on: May 04, 2011, 08:53:43 AM

This is weird. I grew up in a democrat family and had far-left beliefs until a couple years ago when I educated myself. I'm not surprised to be neat the bottom, but I'm a little surprised to be slightly to the right than to the left.
359  Other / Off-topic / Re: Intellectual Property: Intellectually Bankrupt on: May 04, 2011, 08:40:19 AM
Bitcoin2cash, well said in the first post. I do artwork as my trade and understanding why IP isn't property was hard for me to accept for a long time, but I think if you want to be free, you have to give up that one rule you think benefits you. Though now I realize it doesn't benefit me to have a violent gang "protecting" my IP. They only really protect the big corporate interests.
