341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does BTC mean to you? on: February 12, 2024, 05:16:39 PM
What does BTC mean to you?
Bitcoin for me is just a digital currency that is only for trading or investing, nothing more than that, I never dreamed that BTC could be used as a source of legal currency for the country or used as a legal means of shopping/exchange with goods.

Bitcoin really means something to me personally, of course this is from the point of view as I said above, the point is that Bitcoin currently has and is showing a good impact on the entire world community, that is what I see from the meaning of Bitcoin.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to convert my SMT token to BTC on: February 12, 2024, 04:39:49 PM
I have 250000+ SMT token. I want to convert it in BTC. Do you know any way?
Where is your current SMT token position, I mean wallet, trust or MetaMask, maybe you can sell it first to USDT or Bitcoin if the wallet provides it, maybe you can transfer first to the wallet I mentioned above, there provides a Btc/usdt exchange, if you want to convert it into Bitcoin.

Another way, if I'm not mistaken SMT tokens are available on exchanges such as: ProBit Global, PayBito and Xeggex, there provide Bitcoin, maybe you can register on one of these exchanges via the available network, that way you can get Bitcoin there, if I'm not mistaken SMT is currently priced at $0.14/1 SMT, meaning you can get 0.69892BTC if the token you have is 250k, I think that's how you can do it.
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break in gambling on: February 12, 2024, 04:15:06 PM
What is the instances that makes you take a break in gambling?
For me gambling is like watching TV, where I can control turning it on and off, gambling for now I can still stop and play as much as I want, likewise in games if I'm not happy with game A I will switch to game B, but I always think don't let gambling control me, let me control gambling.

Talking about taking a break, I once did that, but it only lasted for two months, then I did it again and I kept doing it, until I got bored of betting, I might take a break often, but it only lasted for a short time, that's how I was how to rest in the gambling arena.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my gambling life started. on: February 12, 2024, 04:00:31 PM
Then the casino and other online bet platforms was introduced in time. This was how I was exposed and my begining of gambling life!
Yes, all of us must have experienced experiences in the gambling arena, whether it started illegally or legally, the point is that everyone has a life story of first being involved in gambling.

I also have a long life history in gambling, where I got to know online gambling through a friend, he taught me everything so that I could master gambling like now, but basically gambling has made me happy and difficult, while I was still learning, especially online crypto gambling, however, I always hoped that gambling could make me better in all aspects.
345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: February 11, 2024, 05:39:49 PM
So I have been trying to wrap my head around which is a better option, day trading crypto or buying for long term keep.
The two trading methods you mentioned both have the same goal, namely making real profits in the crypto market, the difference is in term, for me they both have different knowledge.
1. Daily trading, here you must have knowledge in the field of analysis, graphics, crypto market developments and you must be ready to sit in front of a laptop during the trading process on that day, you really have to understand the crypto and market situation, so that you avoid from loss.
2. Long term, this method is almost the same as investment, only you press a sell position at a certain price within a certain period, you don't need to do as in the points above [1], you can just wait for the price you have determined.

Conclusion: if you have daily knowledge you will make a profit faster, in the long term you will only make a profit when the time comes, the point is: it depends on the crypto trading knowledge you have mastered.
346  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: February 11, 2024, 03:35:01 PM
I am curious to know who are their targeted audience and at what age group. In general gambling people target countries like thailand more but probably this is not the case with crypto. Do they target nerds or total dumbs? How efficient they are between their marketing tactics?
You know that crypto is currently dominated by many rich entrepreneurs in the world, for example Elon, so the same goes for online casinos that exist today, almost the average casino uses crypto currency as payment, talking about marketing or advertising, it is clear that casinos never target those who are lay and stupid.

You need to underline that there are ordinary people who are involved in playing at crypto casinos and lose, it is not the fault of the casino that markets it, in fact they themselves have bad luck when playing, you need to know, Although many casinos market themselves on digital media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and so on effectively not targeting those who are ordinary, there are still many ways of advertising they spread effectively that target those who are rich involved in gambling crypto.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most underrated sport? on: February 11, 2024, 03:09:04 PM
I've been wanting to ask a question to people who study different sports for a long time: what sport do you think is the most underrated in sports betting and why? Let me explain in more detail what I mean when I write about an underrated sport.
I have not found a type of sport in the world of gambling that is underestimated, to be honest, currently I see almost all sports on online gambling sites being widely bet on, what is certain is that we all have different hobbies in the world of sports, I take it for granted but other people don't necessarily, maybe it's an interesting game for them.

But if you ask me personally, I will definitely answer that the sport that I often underestimate is the sport of cheek slapping, in my opinion it is the worst sport I have seen recently, whether the sport is included on a gambling site or not, The point is that it is the sport that I most underestimate and annoy, of course in my opinion this has its pros and cons, because there are also sports that are of interest to many people.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you quit gambling for a friend? on: February 11, 2024, 02:35:45 PM
Would you quit gambling for a friend?
Friends are friends, gambling is gambling, so these two things have different relationships, gambling is more about the character of a hobby and addiction, friends are more about the character of the soul, for me I stopped gambling based on a friend's advice or not feeling bad, that's a different problem.

For me to stop gambling, based on friends, for me it doesn't matter, I don't follow that advice, in fact I dare to say that friends are still friends, don't bother looking for food, that's my principle in dealing with friends and stopping gambling.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should prioritize investment over saving on: February 10, 2024, 02:53:12 PM
Why we should prioritize investment over saving.
Both understandings are here.
Quote
Saving is basically just securing money, while investing is allocating money to achieve a target within a certain period of time.

In the quote above, it clearly states the priority of both, the understanding is that crypto/Bitcoin is a value that moves from time to time, where you have a long or short term increase in the value of the asset you invest in, Saving certainly doesn't add any asset value to you, whatever you save is what you have to take.

Investment increases the value of assets not only in crypto/Bitcoin, land, gold and so on can also happen, saving is of course what you save, that's what you reap, it doesn't add, that's the reason investment is prioritized.
350  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I require your intervention on: February 10, 2024, 02:16:42 PM
I was introduced to bitcointalk and I don't know much about cryptocurrencies; please advise me on what I should do to learn more about bitcoin. Please send me a link that will walk me through the process so that I don't run into any complications when I start my investment.
If I can advise you, please find out or look for someone who is senior and understands Bitcoin investment or how to use a wallet/exchange that you can register and buy Bitcoin for you to buy and invest, You cannot rely on the links here, all the information you get here about Bitcoin is nothing but theory, the real practice lies with your friends who know how Bitcoin works in the real world.

I see a lot of those beginners who play with Bitcoin, wallets, exchanges and so on, end up in losses, because they don't want to ask for help from those who know in the real world, that's why I say you have to get to know those who really understand Bitcoin, for you to start investing in Bitcoin.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: February 09, 2024, 02:55:12 PM
I don't know if this applies to all games or not, but I feel like this often when playing table games. What do you think?
What you feel, maybe this has often been felt by those, especially those who play slot gambling, this kind of winning tactic often happens, especially in new casinos that are operating, most of the slot systems are cheating, but it doesn't all depend on the gambling site you play on, the casino owner can make the settings, if the casino is blah-blah, whatever technique you want to use, you will still experience bad luck like what you experienced.

Remember, be careful when playing at new casinos, they can completely drain your balance settings. My advice is to play at casinos that are decades old, there is a possibility for you to win the jackpot, The setting system is very dangerous, generally slot games use RNG, the settings make everything messy, like what you are experiencing now.
352  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to expect this bull run? on: February 09, 2024, 02:36:32 PM
I am just trying to put my plan together when it comes to selling and don't want to sell too much too soon.
We all have long-term plans for the future of Bitcoin, everyone knows the halving will happen in the future, there is a lot of speculation that we are seeing at the moment, From the experience that has occurred, hopes and plans to sell are certainly in the minds of every Bitcoin user and investor, we all hope for the best for ourselves.

I think the problem of falling Bitcoin prices is a normal thing, we will see the future process of Bitcoin development, of course this will show something that is best for us, I am sure and believe in the existing speculation, where we will see where everything will come true, the point is: don't be rash in acting, wait for the time when we find a good price to consider.
353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When is the best time to trade a Bitcoin on: February 08, 2024, 03:01:34 PM
When is the best time to trade a Bitcoin
For me doing crypto trading activities, whenever I want to do it I think it's fine, trading for me is an activity that doesn't know the time to do it, right now, today I think it's not a problem.

But the most important thing in crypto trading is that we have to understand the real science of trading so that we can overcome real losses, analysis, charts and the type of crypto that we want to trade. I think that is important before continuing to the crypto market.

Remember crypto trading is not the same as doing other trades, you need to understand everything about the market and crypto, where is the right time to do it, by knowing all that you will know the right time to carry out trading activities.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changing initial option and losing the bet on: February 08, 2024, 02:28:23 PM
As a gambler and I do participate on physical gambling, at times this scenario often happens to me. After doing my analysis, checked statistics on games, I have selected option I want to play but when I get to gambling center I will have a thought of changing option or adding  a game  to the initial option I selected and this most time will cost losing the bet.
This kind of scenario is often done by sports betting bettors, this includes me, I have also done the same thing, adding a bet to the initial option, this is done where we are sure that the initial bet we placed is certain to win, but that's called gambling, at the last minute it can turn around 100%, it could be that the bet we placed loses and disappears.

If we think, gamble normally and control yourself, don't be ambitious, just be guided by the initial bet, changing options doesn't necessarily mean we can win, it could be an unlucky day for us.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's problem gambling different from compulsive gambling. on: February 08, 2024, 02:06:49 PM

How's problem gambling different from compulsive gambling.
My understanding is that those who gamble are said to be 'Problem Gambling' gamblers, none other than:
Have no control when gambling, they often place big bets without considering the risks that will occur, and other problem gamblers are those who like to borrow illegally to gamble, lying to our family about our gambling activities and many other things that impact Problem Gambling.

If I don't misunderstand it and if I value compulsive gambling almost the same as Problem Gambling, it's just the inability to resist and encourage or control to gamble, they remain in their stance to carry out gambling activities.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Another war in the Middle East could be dire for the economy on: February 08, 2024, 01:42:33 PM
Another war in the Middle East could be dire for the economy
This has been proven since World War II, at that time the war had entered the most terrible decade for the economy of people throughout the world, starvation, murder, robbery and so on, lives such as animal lives were no longer worth a penny.

We know that war is not a good idea to solve human economic welfare, war has an unforgettable impact on the economy, thus, Even though war occurs, at least Bitcoin can have a good impact on the people's economy. The impact of war, of course Bitcoin is useful for trade and investment, Bitcoin has no effect on fiat currencies in countries where there is war, that is the advantage of Bitcoin from an economic perspective.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 07, 2024, 03:15:03 PM
It is so unfortunate how some gamblers become so addicted to the extent of selling off most of their properties just to play gamble even when they're aware of the risk that is associated with selling ones properties as you may not be able to replace that same property again even in your entire life.
Indeed, in the world of gambling, we often see unique and strange things in the behavior of many gamblers.
For example:
Gambler sold his wife, minor daughter; family rescued by officials.

And many other cases that occur against those who are addicted to gambling, if they are selling property, perhaps it is not unusual for us to see it often.

My advice is to gamble as much as you can and based on your economic level, don't be so pushy that you have to sell your personal belongings, just for the sake of gambling, gamble normally.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 07, 2024, 02:55:45 PM
A student investing in bitcoin?
You should have learned about investing in 2019, when you first got to know Bitcoin, meaning you have matured yourself for 5 years now in everything related to Bitcoin, investment, trading and so on.

But it's not a problem if you continue to deepen your knowledge of investing in Bitcoin from your friends, you must first learn about the current developments in Bitcoin from various sources of information, I'm sure you will be successful in investing.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 07, 2024, 02:39:39 PM
Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more?
Gambling does not look at poor or rich, anyone who enters the gambling arena, of course they have been assessed and considered to have money and are ready to accept the risks they face, What is certain is that the risks faced in gambling vary, rich and poor are not a challenge to the risks that occur.

I understand gambling if we are not ready to take the risk of losing of course, it is best not to force ourselves to do it, gambling is really for those who are able to face all the risks that will occur, Be rich and poor if you are ready to take risks, do it, if you don't back down, if you don't see yourself as poor or rich, take risks.
360  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER!!! BE CAREFUL on: February 06, 2024, 03:25:48 PM
AGAIN PEOPLE, SCAMMER!!!!! BE CAREFUL OUT THERE
You should be more careful about frauds that want to target you as a victim, for this reason Telegram, fake websites are their targets to carry out their actions, So be careful for yourself, I personally often see those who use Telegram being attracted to fraudsters.

So in the future, if you want to accuse someone, provide a lot of evidence, so that members here don't make a mistake in judging what kind of fraud you are talking about.

Indeed, the internet is currently the most efficient method for trapping fraudsters.
