how do i backup my wallet? what files i should save and what to do with the files once i want to use them? the back up files will also work on next wallet releases or do i have to backup every time?

This is how you can help raising 1337 price to 50 satoshi by 10 July 2017. when w00t will due out, 1337 will climb further more: 1) commit not to sell your 1337 coins below 50 satoshi. 2) keep on buying 1337 coins even if price is going up now, it is still cheap until it reach to 50 satoshi. 3) store your 1337 coins at your own desktop wallet. while it is a great way to stake them and gain more it will also prevent you from being tempted to dump them at the exchange site. 4) open support ticket on exchange sites that doesnt list 1337 coin yet. i contacted cryptopia to add btc market for 1337 and few days later it was open to the public. i also contact https://bleutrade.com and waiting for their reply and i think we should also talk to: https://cryptodao.com/5) use twitter to promote 1337 coin by linking to this thread and hash tag it with #bitcoin #btc. this will attract more people to the coin. 6) if possible please change your forum signature and promote 1337 coin. 7) dont limit 1337 coin conversation only to this thread, there are many place you can talk about this coin at bitcointalk, for example the altcoins thread. the more people will know about 1337 the higher the price will go. more suggestions are welcomed, hope to see this community working together to add value to 1337. |

doge/1337 market is reopened at cryptopia and i`m sure that soon btc/1337 will be open as well. this means that community pressure is working and if we will decide to talk to other exchange site they will list 1337. someone said that bitterex doesnt accept coins that have numbers in their names so its a problem. anyway, i contact https://bleutrade.com/ to add 1337 coin if you can do the same that will be great! |

Hey guys, how often do you get staking rewards? I didn't get a stake yet, the expected reward time stays at 5 days for quite long now (got the wallet running 24/7), I even got two Reddcoin stake rewards meanwhile...
How many coins do you have in the wallet? 1,6MIL. i calculated the precntage of your coins relatively to my coins. i get a stake every day, so i think you might get reward every 5-7 days. |

i remind everyone not to dump their coins for the greed of few satoshis, if we hold and stake our coins for a while the price can get really high, more than 10 satoshi in the next few weeks and even to arounf 100 satoshi in the future.
thank you for contacting them. that's good news indeed. as for people selling their 1337, thats just how things work right? buy low, sell high, make some profits. the price of 1337 has been low for a long time. im glad to see that its finally starting to pay off the people that invested and kept investing in 1337. as for me, im quite happy too of course with the increased value and the growing community. it will help to open more doors, now and in the future. i think we have some good times ahead of us! when i took over the coin back in the days, my main focus was on finding a purpose for this coin and building some services around it. besides the coding part, finding ways to give more uses to 1337 will always be the main goal for me. We would need to find places that will accept it as currency, which would be kind of hard atm.
Alternatively if you know someone that can program, I would to talk to them about making a game, then have that accept 808.

They're also developing a new coin that can only be purchased with 1337 called wowe (Which means it could potentially be listed on trex, since they don't add coins with numbers) to lower the 1337 supply some and have two coins. Anyways, almost no resistance up to 9 sat; I'm not sure if the yobit 1337 is any good. I don't trust any yobit wallet that says its in maintenance there. However yesterday Cryptopia and novaexchange all shot up to 2 sat on the BTC/LTC front and even at poswallet it rose in posw comparative value. why bitterex dont list coins with numbers? if 1337 was listed there it could go to 100 satoshi and more. at novaexchange price also went to 3 satoshi. there is problem with cryptopia, first they stop 1337/doge market becuase of bot traders and seconds, there is no 1337/btc market there which will sure increase the price as not all the traders are holding ltc but everyone has btc. so how can we open this market there? I'm not sure why bittrex doesn't add coins with numbers in their ticker name (Something Julian had some on slack when someone asked if they would add 42) And I think the best way to add 1337/btc trading on cryptopia would be maybe just everyone messaging them requesting it. (Side note, not many have LTC this is true; not many are in turn trying to sell it for LTC thankfully) i opened a support ticket at cryptopia asking them to add btc market for 1337 coin and also to reopen 1337/doge market. i`ll update with their reply. |

DID I MISS THE BOAT ON 1337 COIN?  nope, price is back to 1-2 satoshi even in the alternative market. i think that it can easily go up to 10 satoshi as lots of altcoins are being pumped from unknown reasons, maybe because the price of bitcoin is going to hit the 3000$ bar very soon. i also think that we can go higher than 10 satoshi as the apr is going down, w00t will come up and lots of coins are going to be burn and if we all decide as a community not to dump the coins and hold it at high price, eventually this will also keep the price up. there are lots of examples of pos coins that went to 50 and even 600 satoshi over the time. |

price is stable at 6 satoshi as i predicted.
tomorrow is the 6/6/2017 the official delisting date at poswallet. if we will pass it around the same levels, the coin will go up again.
i used this low price to buy more 808 coins today.
just dont sell your coins low or better, dont sell them at all.

Can anyone tell me how to set nodes on 808 desktop wallet?
I have 0 connections and i cant find the config file or another way to add nodes.
For windows you are looking for the appdata roaming 808 folder, create a 808.conf file here and then put your addnode list in it. In the upcoming 808 update i will include a built in node, it will take care of this. Thanks for the info as I'm about to download the wallet but for now I'll wait until this update is complete so then I don't have to worry about adding a conf file. Do you have a time frame on when this update will be complete? as I want to start staking this coin and make up for lost stakes on POSWallet. The update should be done in the next few days. It's looking good so far, some general updates, fixes, checkpoint, built in node, maybe some extra candy. suggestion to create automatic split threshold, other pos wallets have this option, so basically after configuring this once, all future coins will enter to 1 block and staking will be higher and faster: from another thread: "stake split threshold allows you to control the size you're inputs split at. with pos coins your input creates a block and gives 2 outputs equal to half the input & pos reward each, this means with each successful stake your blocks get smaller eventually they may reach a size where they dont stake or take ages too. the weight is cumulative so its not that bad but you could end up with an input that doesn't stake for months. to use it open the debug console and type: setstakesplitthreshold 5000000 replace 5000000 with whatever size you want your inputs to split to and the inputs will only split when the inputs reach the correct size to give you 2 outputs greater than your split threshold". |

another 1337 faucet will be great, maybe you can fund it with ads and referrals links on your faucet.
once apr 40% will take effective the price will go up. currently it`s around 0.6-0.8 satoshi.
