341  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit abuse and probably account hacking on: March 17, 2024, 01:39:49 AM
I wonder even after 6 years of merit introduction, some users are still doing the same! It's like they discover merit and think about a way to send the sMerits to an account they care to rank up LOL

It's single user. We have had such incidents many times in the past.
One thing I don't understand is why they waste such marriages [merits]. These smarts are given to such posts by qualified posts [?]. If there have been many incidents like this before, then no proper action is being taken.
It's difficult to understand but I guess I read it like: ... waste such merits. These smerits are given to such bad quality posts?

If my translation is correct then the answer is: When there are strong evidences then forum members can make their own judgements about leaving a feedback or just ignoring it. The guideline from the admin is, as long as the merit source is not abusing smerits, there are no big deal.
Maybe not a big deal as far as giving a red tag for merit abuse, but I would consider a neutral because these people are obviously not trustworthy. People might want a warning if engaging in a trade.

Newbies have a hard time earning merits, and like Lucius said "it's easier to buy merit than write a good post". So many are looking for shortcuts and they're probably not going to stop even if red tagged. They just move on and try to rank up the next newbie account.
342  Economy / Reputation / Re: PytagoraZ & komisariatku are alts on: March 16, 2024, 03:52:40 PM
So, there are 11 accounts connected via blockchain:
asrinur ~ My friend's account and he has sold the account
pentol86 ~ My friend's account and that account were hacked
cyberdg ~ My friend's account and the account are still held by the original owner
razor92 ~ I do not know him
komisariatku ~ me
coklat gurih ~ I do not know him
havi agasa  ~ My friend's account and the account are still held by the original owner
akbarharyadi8 ~ I do not know him
nyupangcoin ~ I do not know him
Hagz ~ My friend's account and the account are still held by the original owner
tu_kang ~ my alt
Wow.  Just fucking wow.  It amazes me when there are a bunch of "friends" (presumably in real life?) who happen to also be members of a particular forum....and they all get connected as alt accounts.  This is as far as I've gotten in this thread, but you can be damn sure I'm going to read this until it gets locked.

I have noted that PytagoraZ has requested post history reviews from me in the past, but not any of the above accounts that I can remember--but I haven't checked.  This thread is really making me lean toward ditching my offer altogether and going back to giving out merits the old way, while reading random posts.
Shit like this is why I stopped helping users rank up via the count down to next rank thread. So many farms in there so I realized it's better to avoid the thread altogether and see how they do without the passive beg thread.
343  Economy / Reputation / Re: PytagoraZ & komisariatku are alts on: March 16, 2024, 07:03:55 AM
Going to be very hard for either of you to dispute this. If it was just merit sharing, it might get overlooked, but cheating contests is never a good idea. Curious to see more of this unfold myself now. Good job @nutildah
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Scratch Offs on: March 16, 2024, 06:55:57 AM
So while we are on the discussion and topic of gambling, I wonder if there has every been a scratch off ticket thread?

I was at the gas station today and I said screw it lets get two $1 scratch of tix because why not.

The first one was a flop, but the second one was a winner! I won one lol Just $1. Whoopty doo lol

So I used that winner ticket to go and buy another ticket, and guess what!? The same thing happened again and I won one lol.

I am going to go back tomorrow and get another one and see what happens and keep you guys posted!

Here is a fun question: What is the most you have ever won off of a scratch off ticket? What brand ticket was it?
I really hate winning my money back if I buy a lottery ticket. I'd rather be a winner or a loser. If you get your money back, you didn't really win anything. As far as the biggest amount I have won on a ticket, $500 1 time is it. The lottery is so hard to beat.

346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: March 15, 2024, 08:28:16 PM

Imagine if pic related actually happen. Can the Bengals make it work though, contract-wise, can they fit all three of them?

If Jefforson stays to play in Minnesota with those bums they have at quarterback, he's going to get murdered on one of those hospital balls. Not worth it.

That literally would be insane.  It would be exactly like LSU was that year shattering records.  I kinda want to see it happen.  Unsure of theor cap room and Minnesota wanting to trade him but I'd be an every Sunday watcher of their games. Might as well just get rid of theor running backs and just play with a 6 man line amd 4 wideluts every play 😅
If Burrow and Chase(Mostly Burrow) restructured their deals, they could open up some cap space and make it happen. It's a matter of what Minnesota wants for Jefferson at that point. I have a feeling they're gonna want a haul for JJ though. If this did happen though, Bengals would be a force to reckon with in the AFC.
347  Other / Meta / Re: Reasons of be inactive on: March 15, 2024, 06:49:37 PM
If someone is inactive strictly because they couldn't get into a campaign then good riddance. Campaigns are a privilege, not a right!! Not everyone is guaranteed a spot and most people should look to contribute to this forum more than just joining a signature campaign and earning money. It's ok to earn money, but it's ok to be a part of the community as well.

If you or anyone else feels that there is a lack of campaigns, maybe it's because companies feel they are not getting enough bang for their buck. If you are in a campaign, you should be supporting the company. Helping keep their thread active, maybe playing on their site now and then, helping others get answers to questions they may have about a site, etc. This is just a part of my opinion.
348  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Affiliate marketing in crypto on: March 15, 2024, 06:47:25 AM
You can watch a few gambling streamers and see how they're doing it. Basically, start giving away a few bucks to players who use your code and gamble on a website. Announce a 50$ raffle type giveaway each day and only allow those who prove they're playing on your code to participate. It's not the only type of affiliate marketing, but it is 1 way and probably 1 of the easiest ways to get started as long as you have a bankroll to play on.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws? on: March 15, 2024, 01:36:54 AM
I feel like the question you should be asking is, will a site I play on pay me if I live in a certain jurisdiction? Check the sites restricted countries and if the place you are isn't on their list, you shouldn't have any issues being paid out.
350  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can we trust Legendary member chmod755 ? on: March 14, 2024, 10:48:34 PM
I noticed member chmod755 woke up again and he is spamming like crazy, usually he is posting copy-paste articles every few minutes.
He is mostly posting worthless news articles and he started doing that since last year November when he woke up, maybe account changed hands yet again.

One example of his posting habits:

https://ninjastic.space/search?author=chmod755
Account sales were pretty common back then, especially since most lenders accepted accounts as collateral. I wouldn't be surprised if the account has been sold multiple times since 2010.

This account looks to already be tagged and flagged from the last change of ownership, so I doubt anyone would do any sort of business with them. If they did, hopefully they use an escrow at least. The account is worthless as is regardless as well.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Online Casinos Publish Their Bankroll? Your Thoughts? on: March 14, 2024, 08:18:54 PM
I can see arguments for both sides and I feel like OgNasty said it pretty good.

On one hand it is their money and if they are privately owned it is nobody’s business. However, gamblers should be entitled to know their deposits are accounted for and that there is money to be won. Not to mention Bitcoin makes it possible to do easily, so it makes a lot of sense for casinos to prove a portion of their reserves on the blockchain.

Players should know that their money is safe and if they win a casino has the funds to pay them out. I'm not sure casinos would agree to disclose their funds though, they might be open to disclosing to a private company or to their licensing provider and they get a seal showing they have proved they have x amount of funds.

352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 14, 2024, 09:52:25 AM
Simple decision, scared money doesn't make money. I'm gonna make the bet and try to get 10 btc. It makes no sense to not take the gamble if its free money, yea I might lose my bet but I don't lose anything. I don't see why people wouldn't want to take a shot at big money.
353  Economy / Gambling / Re: 8ombard.com - 👑 Pick, Play, Prosper! 👑 100% Bonus Up To $150 - Provably Fair! on: March 14, 2024, 04:19:43 AM
Your signature campaign really works because I had to visit your website again because of that. Anyway, upon checking your website again, there's nothing new since the last time I visited. Betting takes so long, sometimes not finishing; the bet is still loading and I don't know why. I thought you guys already fix this.
Hi xLays,

Please have a play now and let us know what you think!

We went in and optimized some things so bets can be made with faster results.

We are keen to hear some more feedback.

Cheers
Hi. I just tried it again after reading your reply. My experience is still the same as the last time I played. There's no problem when I'm playing with the demo balance, but when I'm playing with the bonus balance, the bets doesn't go through or finish. Also, the balance sometimes is not accurate. Maybe you can check my account. My username is xlays. Here's the proof of what I experienced https://vimeo.com/923094718?share=copy
Are you sure it's not your connection? I have been testing the site for the last 2-3 days and don't have any issues with the bet finishing. I faced an issue with my bets not showing up on the bets tab, but I cleared my cache and that issue was resolved. Maybe you should clear your cookies and cache as well and see if that helps.
354  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asks for KYC (their site say NO KYC) then confiscates my winnings on: March 13, 2024, 11:22:07 PM
If a casino advertises no KYC for crypto users, then it should be held to that standard IMO. You either have no KYC or you have it, if you are going to use KYC in select cases, then you cannot use the banner no KYC. Seems pretty simple. Feels like a site uses that banner to attract customers and fuck em if they win.
355  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need help. I GOT PHISHED FOR 9K ON STAKE.COM on: March 13, 2024, 07:18:14 PM
You are desperate is how I'm reading all this situation. Yesterday it was STAKE ARE SCAMMERS and now it's I fell for a phishing email. Unfortunately, I can not give either story any credibility.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: March 12, 2024, 09:28:39 PM
Let me make it simple for you:

Trump loses again, and Biden wins  Cheesy

Please, save your wits everyone. Sit back and relax, and nick some easy money off the bookies.

[Everyone else is a joke candidate and I don't understand why Stake doesn't just give them all 100:1 odds.]
I think its going to be the opposite. I think both are complete morons, but at least Trump is interesting. I don't think that people realize that no matter who is made president, they do not hold all the power. Their party gains a little more control and some agendas for the party are pushed, but the person themselves are not making all the laws or whatnot.

I think the USA was in better shape with the republicans in control.
357  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nexlub.com Poker club opening on: March 12, 2024, 07:45:12 PM
Just for the record, I am not on board. I am not endorsing this site at this time. I have had a conversation but that's it. I have not made an account and I don't know anything about the team behind the site. I'm not against the site either, I just don't want people signing up thinking I'm endorsing them.

So I guess this means the discussion about sponsoring another bitcointalk poker tournament fall off or is it currently still in discussion? Dang totally would love them to make it happen. Well if an entire series of tournaments sounds abit hassle, probably 1-2 single tournaments with decent buy and 'huge' guaranteed prizepool could be an option as well  Roll Eyes

Been a while since some of us sit on the same table
I cannot say for sure, I know we had a discussion and they were going to discuss it amongst themselves as to whether its worth it for them to do so. I personally would pass on hosting a series due to the low turnout. People here are too cheap to play a 10-20$ buyin game weekly. No offense to anyone intended but it's factual info. We averaged 1 full table on average and it's not worth a big prize pool for that. Then did people actually play poker after the series? Not really. People were chasing the EV final toruney and once they didn't have a shot, they gave up.

I think it makes more sense to just do a few special tourneys and some added prize money, but if people don't support a site how do you expect them to keep wanting to host tourneys? How do you expect other sites to be interested?

358  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKE IS A SCAMMER on: March 12, 2024, 06:48:43 PM
Let's start with typing in caps doesn't help you. You're pissed or whatever, but you still need to conduce yourself in an adult manner. Second, if you have an issue with the company, maybe you should send their reps a message? Making a thread isn't going to get you a response from management. They have support which you say you spoke with, why didn't you ask to be connected with management there?

If you are accusing the company of something, you are doing it in the wrong board. I will post the links below that you can explore for answers.

Hello and welcome guys .

I maybe late in welcoming you since the tournament is taking place today?

well with yahoo Onboard I'm sure this will be successful so What should I extend from greeting?  of course wishing you luck with this tournament.
Just for the record, I am not on board. I am not endorsing this site at this time. I have had a conversation but that's it. 360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 10, 2024, 10:23:55 PM
There are gamblers who have great instincts and can forecast games that may end up winning the bet. But they are scared that they may lose. They dont trust their own betting predictions so they would rather go to a gambling prediction site to some daily betting tips.

So i want to know as a gambler that you are, do you feel following those betting predictions from those sites would favour us in gambling more than our own predictions? For me i trust my predictions and i have won more when i predict for myself than letting someone predict for me.
Just like any other gambler I am going to like who i like and bet the way I want, but to be a smart bettor you should always be seeking out information. The more information you have, the better decision you might make when deciding to make a bet. So, it is probably a good idea to see what a few different prediction sites might be saying and look at the POV. Might give you the info needed to make a better decision.
