It all happened just how I predicted it. This game is just for money.
They are staining the world of boxing and the Association just let it happen.
All trash talks are just for publicity and to make people see it will be a good fight but it ends up just an act.
Pffft. Not even worth to watch in pay per view good thing I didnt applied to watch it there. It is sickening to watch. Also just to break the record of Rocky. Pfft. He is not a worthy to be compared with Rocky.
Oh well McGregor didn't care that he lost the fight at all, it was all about the money and for an athlete who was worth $27 M his whole career so far, I think making $100 M in just a single night is definitely a goldmine for him. I will give it to though He won the first to fourth round and it was only after he tired that Mayweather got into the game.

I think saying McGregor didn't care that he lost the fight at all is nonsense. McGregor is extremely competitive, he hates to lose, in general everyone in the elite of sports is very competitive and hates to lose above everything else, there's no way he isn't going to be mad about the loss for weeks.

I also believe that he had self belief in everything he said, including how he would KO him under 4 rounds, but when it's all said and done, Mayweather has 21 years of experience and that was clear during the fight, even if we clearly didn't saw the best Mayweather, he had enough to beat him.

McGregor needs to work on his cardio and also managing his energy more. He wasted too much energy punching on Floyd's gloves and doing useless clinching, so by the end of round 7 he became a tired punching bag, he realized this quickly after the fight.

He just realize his lack of experience with boxing, just like what I said in my recent post here Mcgregor would not stand a chance against a more experience boxer and a Floyd had a much more stamina than Mcgregor so that is how I predicted that the odds will all go to Floyd not because of the great training but the experience in the ring that he takes the advantage, but if the fight is in the MMA ring Mcgregor will have a slight chance against Floyd, McGregor literally has a hand caught in a boxing match.

McGregor would not have a slight advantage in MMA, the advantage would be huge... Mayweather would be fucked pretty quickly. Floyd would need to learn how to defend from kicks, elbows, knees and takeovers, and how to throw them, how to wrestle... too late to learn all of that at 40, so the fight had to happen in boxing, but then again, Mayweather's experience and skill superiority was also an huge advantage, but not that big compared to McGregor in the octagon.

Similarly, I think it's too late for McGregor to become an elite top10 world ranked boxer, he should stick to MMA and come back in boxing for a superfight that can sell a lot like the Malignaggi-McGregor fight, I would watch that, but the likes of GGG would fuck up McGregor badly.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: August 28, 2017, 06:47:52 PM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.
I don't think bitcoin will not destroy the fiat system, I think it's not created to destroy fiat system. It's hard to destroy it because lot of people are still depending on fiat system and many people are not willing to embraced and accept bitcoin as a currency. 2022 ? Almost Everyone? I don't think bitcoin will used almost of the people on that time but we can't predict what will happened but it still possible in the future.
I don’t know why people want bitcoins to perish away fiat forever. Fiat is not doing any harm to bitcoins in anyway. These both are simply modes of currency and their usage should be a mere choice of the user. Fiat has also served us for years. Let’s all enjoy both systems and make profits out of them.

Attackers of bitcoin are founded on fiat, so on that way, fiat is a direct enemy of bitcoin and in general anything that challenges the status quo.

BTC replacing fiat would depend on people dumping their fiat for BTC and making it irrelevant, which I dont see as realistic anytime soon.

The good news, we can be at 6 figures with fiat not disappearing. We need BTC as a strong alternative to gold, the rest is just secondary.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: Next "dot-com bubble"? on: August 28, 2017, 05:22:23 PM
The good news is, when the ICO bubble-useless altcoin bubble of tokens bursts, it's going to be great for bitcoin because all of that wealth in useless tokens is going to go back to BTC. It's not like all of a sudden everyone isn't going to invest on crypto again, it will just be more focused on actual useful tokens rather than useless speculative crap.

But I don't think we are anywhere near a legit bubble yet.
344  Economy / Speculation / Re: When kwukduck says bitcoin will surge, SELL EVERYTHING on: August 28, 2017, 03:26:57 PM
kwukduck == cashodler == same fucking troll using different accts

I wonder if kwukduck was also the infamous proudhon which has been making bearish predictions since forever.

I would not be worried about kwukduck being some sort of inverse Nostradamus where if he says something will not happen it actually happens, so don't panic now because he didn't say bitcoin would crash.

In my opinion, bitcoin will remain bullish until Jeff Garzik's segwit2x starts getting mentioned all the time due propaganda machines talking about another hardfork.

Exactly as many of us "predicted" McGregor went the distance and the fight was pretty entertaining but when Floyd really started boxing it was over. This sets up a possible rematch where McGregor will state that he'll prepare better and for the little he train he made a great fight. So the hype would be around that narrative "imagine if McGregor trains harder and gets better while Floyd gets a little older".

I hope this doesn't happen really and Floyd can retire in peace but we all know how much these two love money!

There will be no rematch... Mayweather can now sit back and relax in retirement with a 50-0 perfect record that will look great on merchandise (t-shirts etc). He has a billionaire real state portfolio, he has these other side businesses.. this is was it, he's done. You can't ask for a better career than that.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 27, 2017, 03:09:29 PM
I really like McGregor, but I think this was an impossible fight for him. MMA is way to different from boxing. Not talking just about the lack of ground fight or kicks, the moves, the fighting stance, the endurance needed, and so many other things are just to different. I think it was a good fight to watch, but I guess we all knew the winner before the fight even started. It would be fun to watch this fight under mma rules.
I think mcgregor stamina poorly, to a technique used mcgregor didn't different with boxers usually. With these defeats, it can be certain mcgregor just the king in mma not in boxing

Conor let us all down, I thought he could do more than this rather it was all talk and I nearly lost had I agreed with a friend over a possible bet. If he knew he lacked stamina he should have worked on it with his team before entering the ring.

The "bet on a Mayweather win" was always the safe bet, I know a lot of people now that are kicking themselves and still crying about money loses with this one. McGregor is an excellent talker and a lot of people drank his Koolaid.

If he wants to continue in boxing he needs to fix his problems during the mid rounds when it comes to cardio. He looked good in the first rounds, but let's not forget Mayweather is 40 and was inactive, im not sure if it would be a good idea for him to fight the top younger active fighters, I would stay in the UFC unless it was a Malignaggi fight because after all his beef it would sell well and McGregor would have an ever bigger advantage with reach and weight and Paullie is also inactive... I don't think McGregor could last much with GGG or Canelo etc.

And also notice how Mayweather took some big shots and didn't go down, a lot of casuals underrated Mayweather's chin.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 27, 2017, 12:47:37 PM
I was here last night but I was too busy trying to find a good stream. I went through endless pages, even the Acestream links were buffering a lot for some reason (isnt it supposed to get better the more people watch an Acestream link since its p2p?)

Anyway the fight went as I predicted.. around round 6, the sign of a KO started to show. Floyd started charging him and he chased him down like a rabbit.

Im not gonna lie, the first couple of rounds McGregor made me a bit nervous. His massive long arms and awkward style made Floyd take his time, but then again I was also expecting a couple of rounds like that... but it's not easy to not be nervous when you are losing rounds, then again, that is why Mayweather is 50-0.. he makes a long term investment, he doesn't care to lose the first rounds to execute his gameplan and outbox the guy at the last rounds.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 8 Altcoin Unicorns have $20B in marketcap. But who offers the most promise? on: August 25, 2017, 03:14:16 PM
make sure you vote for them before Round 1 deadline (Aug 26, 2017) Grin

For more information on how/where to vote for the AltcoinUnicorn Games, visit https://www.securecoin.capital/coingames

Two favorites of mine:

1. LTC, because of InstaSpeed will be pumped to at least 3-4x in next 2-3 months. It could even goes in 10x.

2. NEO have it's first big ICO.

What do you mean with InstaSpeed for LTC? Never heard of that.

From these projects, Golum is interesting, I like the idea of the global shared resources, could be useful. But as always, too much vaporware and things that from the technical perspective aren't clear to me at all. Last time I checked Golum, I was told that it would need to solve several novel prize problems in order to do what is suposed to do.

NEO is "the Chinese Ethereum" so if it wants to get pumping it will need to get people involved that for some reason refuse to do it in Ethereum.

But remember that to make massive amounts of money you shouldn't be looking at coins that are worth 1+ billion already. Of course, they are the safest bet for a good 2 to 3x.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 25, 2017, 02:06:23 PM
My take on this fight; the fight will not go to distance, especially with 8oz gloves.

McGregor's only change is to storm Floyd right off the bat and hope he connects within 1st round, 2nd round at the latest. If the fight make it out of 2nd round McGregor is done. Past the 2nd round he will get embarrassed by speed and quick movement of Floyd. Floyd will keep landing "small" shots but overtime they will do damage to McGregor and ultimately he will fall or more embarrassingly his corner will throw in the towel.

McGregor stood and "boxed" with Diaz within the octagon for most of the time during their 2 fights and could not finish him, and that's with 4oz gloves. And for people that will say "did you see Diaz's face", Diaz's face has so much soft tissue that you could slap him and he will start to bleed.

Finally, McGregor is cutting a lot of weight for this fight. He will be much bigger man in the ring come Saturday night, so like I said he needs a 1st round, 2nd round at latest KO or else he'll be sleeping.

Floyd said several times that McGregor is extremely heavy and is having problems to make the cut. We will see it today. I will post a youtube link to the live stream of weight ins if im at home. Tomorrow I will also post Acestream links to HD live stream the fight, so if you don't have Acestream yet you should download it now. It's p2p so the more people use it the better the stream works as opposite to videostream of web which is always shit and buffers every 5 seconds by the time the main card arrives.

I think boxing casuals will enjoy the Gervonta Davis fight in the undercard, that kid is like a small Tyson.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 25, 2017, 12:02:57 PM
Some more final drama before the fight:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6i2k5d2coiU

Paulie Malignaggi dropped by Mayweather's boxing club and apparently he told him everything that he saw during the sparring session. Looks like a checkmate to me, unless Conor predicted this move and showed nothing of what he will do saturday night for Floyd, which I doubt it.

So chances are Mayweather knock's McGregor's gameplay by now or at least part of it.
352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin go to 5000$ after SegWit activation? on: August 24, 2017, 02:22:07 PM
Segwit activated today so what will happen to bitcoin price now? what u think will it goes to 5000$ very soon or just walk around 4000$ for more than a month? most people want it to be around 4K so they can buy cheap bitcoin.

It depends on two things:

1) Segwit itself not suffering from any problems.
2) Segwit2x and big blockers in general, not getting anywhere. If the JeffGarzikCoin hardfork happens, the price will crash, so all the potential upside will be negated because people will panic sell due big blocker nonsense as always. Ultimately it depends on what people want to do with their money, but typically during big blocker drama it drops.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The OFFICIAL SegWit Activation Thread on: August 24, 2017, 11:41:10 AM
Activation.

lol. it looks like block explorers are having some trouble keeping up with the upgrade. surprisingly, blockchain.info is leading the pack in successfully dealing with segwit: https://twitter.com/petertoddbtc/status/900541884564742146

fortunately, the network seems to be functioning properly and any soft fork activation FUD has now been surpassed. no sign of any chain splits that i can see. onwards and upwards! now we just need to deal with this pesky bitcoin cash matter, and well, the segwit2x matter, and we can be done with it. Smiley

We will never be "done with it." Once you have been here for a while and you have gone throught hardfork attempts since Bitcoin XT, you understand that the attempts to hardfork bitcoin into something else will never go away, it is a constant attack that you have to deal with.

At the end of the day it all comes down to the users. If people don't support other chains with their money, it would be a non issue. If people don't take side to dump the attacking chain and gamble around, then we'll have 40 different Bitcoins by 2020.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GGG vs Canelo - Predictions on: August 23, 2017, 04:55:53 PM
How about the Mayweather and Mcgregor fight?

already a massive thread about that lol + its a terrible fight.

There's also a thread already about GGG vs Canelo that I did back then:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1948497.0

I think Canelo has real chances now. He's looking good here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wo013EwdnU

Pretty decent moves, and that uppercut looks like it could do some damage. He seems to be on good size to fight a bigger guy like GGG. I always thought Canelo almost no chance, but I think it's not that easy. Some people say Canelo couldn't even KO Chavez Jr last time, I think he could but he simply didn't want to risk it when it was a clear 12 round win if he kept his gameplan.
But of course GGG remains the favorite.

But first let's watch MayMac this saturday, that will be fun.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: About 0x price and Radar Relay Launch on: August 23, 2017, 03:20:10 PM
For 0x hodlers. I did some research on Radar Relay decentralized exchange which launches at the end of the month. You need 0x to pay for fees. Given the global volumes of trading this can be massive. The big exchanges today make millions a day in fees. If things move more decentralized all the fees will be going to 0x holders instead. Just something to have in mind if you are wondering what to do with your tokens.

I've seen already several approaches to decentralized exchanges and all of them add in their own token for some reason.

Waves has its own decentralized exchange.
Blocknet has its own decentralized exchange.
Some project called "Internet of Coins" has its own decentralized exchange.

Well what's different this time?

Blocknet got some actual footage of inter-blockchain transactions which is cool but still a mess since you need full nodes for each coin you want to transact.

What does this thing bring to teh table that we haven't seen before a million times?
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 23, 2017, 12:14:05 PM
There is an interview with Shane Mosley (the guy that landed the best punch of Mayweather ever) and he said that Conor has no chance. He also said that people underrate how hard Mayweather punches:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNzrD0jSBgM

It looks like Conor McGregor is fucked to be honest. If Mayweather digs the body for a couple of rounds + some accurate jabs McGregor isn't going to be able to keep up and he may even get KO'd by Mayweather.

McGregor must KO him in the first 4 rounds or else he may get hurt.

I also saw that interview that Shane gave. I think we can't question him because he went toe to toe with Floyd specially in the later rounds and we saw what Mayweather did to him after he hit Mayweather in the face and almost got a KD.

Mayweather will really put a display on this fight, defensively and offensively. I think his punches has been underrated by his opponents but I honestly thinks he hit as hard as anyone from 147-154 lbs specially his overhand right and his vicious left hooks. If any of this two hits Conor square up, he will either go down or Floyd will score a KD.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMK_Vz3Y3O0

Imagine if Floyd hits Conor with that.

Edit: Sorry about the poor quality of the video.

Yeah Shane said that there isn't much difference compared to when he fought Canelo, so both Canelo and Floyd hit similar.

Mayweather and McGregor already arrived to Las Vegas, only 3 days to go now. Weight-ins will be on friday 25th. I guess there will be live streams in Youtube. Expecting to see some more drama and funny shit during weights ins and press interviews.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: August 22, 2017, 04:06:03 PM
Anoncoin can go 100x if a team of pro scam artists with proof of codings skills steps in and take over the development.

More then 4 years old, solid name and with a very fair distribution. (Atleast until somone bought >30% of the supply on novaexchange last week.)

The name is solid, but after such an history with the coin, it would be really difficult to market... they would need to try really hard to overcome the trajectory of the coin. It is really a waste of a good name for a coin tho...

So many good names and tickers are used by total shitcoins. They deserve to be freed up and used by legit projects.

Another good tip to make some money is to hold coins that are decent but not yet listed on Bithumb... looks like the Coreans are going to be a driving force in crypto, look at the Monero pump. Of course, you can forget about x100-x1000, unless (again) you buy the project right a the beginning and it turns to be solid, or at least gets a ton of attention and people involved even if its scammy (like ETH..)
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining gold also costs (much) energy - VIDEO: The Deepest Mine In The World on: August 22, 2017, 02:20:57 PM
The difference is Bitcoin is not abusing children like Gold extraction companies do for mining. Bitcoin doesn't use the poverty for its own benefits. There are thousands and thousands of children who don't have access to an education system because it is more important to make cents daily for their family instead of going to school... Even if the school is free. You won't see a 10 years old kids trying to set miners in a farm mining.

Wanna talk about ecology? Because mining gold is one of one the most polluting industries where the Mercure is used at an industrial level and thrown into the rivers without shame. Yes, you will say Bitcoin use a lot of electricity and this and that. Bitcoin uses the energy of a city with 250k-500k citizens perhaps, which is very very less than the traditional banking system, or let says less than what use Visa/Mastercard together

Good points too. There's a lot of exploited people in gold mines getting slavery tier wages to risk their lifes. Also the terraforming required for gold extraction is brutal on the environment, they have to dig some massive wholes with huge machines, the damage takes ages to heal.

PoW is no that bad compared to gold mining. Nobody is getting exploited in PoW. As an employee of Bitmain, apparently all they have to do is keep everything in check, you can play videogames and browse the internet and go out for a while too. Im sure the wages are shit tho, but definitely better than being in a gold mine. You would need to deal with the annoying fan noises, but you aren't at constant risk of being collapsed by tons of dirt.

Don't pass 8X for keep looking for 1000x. There are good opportunities all over for 4 to 8x

Not so easy, it's harder than it sounds. To 4x to 8x in more than a random pump and dump I would maybe look at a TOP50 coin and get one of these. The higher you go the harder to pump but the safer to not be left holding a bag forever because top projects have at least continued development so you aren't left with a dead product.

I think STRAT will eventually pump, but not sure if NEOs made STRAT irrelevant or they can compete.
