What's the cpu usage while mining?
Try increasing the aggression level.

I just checked using 'top' and I'm running @ 50% on one core.  seems to be the core with the 5850 on it.  What is eating it? o.o

Here is a picture

I changed agression from 9 to 14 and it went up to ~81% -.-

Is there a command to check cpu usage in ssh?

So, I just got a 5850 and I'm running it on bamt with my other 5970.  Oddly enough, it won't hit 100% load.  I've tried running it without the 5970 in the board, and it does the same thing.  Psu is 750w corsair and runs perfectly fine.  Any ideas?

So I got a new 5850 today, and my load is staying at ~80%

I copied the config over and removed all overclocking besides memclock.  What am I doing wrong? o.o

My rig has a hard time rebooting from the ssh command.  Most of the time it sits there until you manually reboot it yourself.  I'm getting some errors like "cant read os media" etc.  Is this a motherboard specific problem?

never type reboot

always type coldreboot

and above all.. leave that thing alone and let it mine

ok, I'll remember that.  Any specifics why 'reboot' doesn't work?

just a suggestion, but could you make a list of the mobo's that work? Cheesy

I bought one of these.  Comes with a 1 year warranty.  Just wondering if it was a good deal or I got ripped off o.o

It was a "can't-resist" moment Cheesy

I like to run mine @ 38% fan, 675mhz and 0.95v when I sleep Cheesy

NOPE, back up.  Volatile trading atm.  Buy/sell/buy/sell.

Welcome to the world of trading

Also, is there a way to script a clock/voltage/fan change at specific times?  I manually change the clocks when my roommate and I go to sleep. (out of curtesy)

A bug that I've noticed (not sure it it's related to linux)

If you plug in a monitor to a video card while bamt is running everything works fine.  But when you unplug it, the web-status-thingy-ma-jig spits out an error until it's restarted.
Anyone else have this issue?

No seriously it probably shouldn't do that but why are you using a monitor w/ BAMT?  It is like putting a spoiler on a dump truck.

SSH is all you need for management and for routine monitoring you don't even need that, a web browser works just fine.

I normally use SSH, but I'm not 100% in linux yet.  I have the monitor to fix my screwups in the putty.

a pastebin or other capture of the exact message would be helpful, can only guess without it.

I haven't hooked a monitor up to a bamt rig in quite some time.

reproduced it twice by unplugging the monitor from a 5970.

So, all you 5970 owners, what do you run your 5970's at?

I currently have one running at 775mhz @ 1.025v & 50% fan @ 65C

Trying to see how low I can go without boot looping myself Cheesy

Post'em!

in gpumon, my 5970 shows "99%    Mhs  0/0   Low Mhs"

I checked online and I am mining shares, but how can I fix this?
