Never put yourself in a position to be dependent on an announced product being released on time.

There was no hack or anything nefarious.
Glad I'm not the only one.

BFL is not that retarded to hold onto BTC for pre-orders.
BTC was trading around $6 when BFL started accepting pre-orders. Are you insinuating that BFL would have to have been retarded to accept bitcoins at $6 and then start selling them at $12? I think maybe retarded doesn't mean what you think it means. OK Inigo. I mean that they had every reason to cash them out. #1: Manufacturing funds. #2 Fluctuating Market.

Yes they were only funding terrorism temporarily.
God forbid anyone else funds terrorism but the CIA! They don't like competition.

I'd like to know why BitcoinINV had to take down that letter.
I don't think he had to, but he sure is stirring up some shit by pretending there was enough drama to warrant him deleting his post. FYI, it was a letter apparently sent in reply to a State's Attorney General by BFL that was sent on or after Oct 5th 2012. It stated they are taking pre-orders for items they're advertising as not having a definite fulfillment date and they don't yet have a working prototype. It also alluded to someone making a complaint that they had requested a refund but they were refusing to give one to them, with BFL saying that the customer had contacted them 6 times and never requested a refund.

Don't forget to get investment tips from the guys at Bain Capital Ventures. Bain Capital started with help of offshore investorsAbout $9 million came from rich Latin Americans, including powerful Salvadoran families living in Miami during their country's brutal civil war.
That first investment fund — used to invest in start-up companies and leveraged buyouts — paid out a stunning 173% in average annual returns over a decade, according to a prospectus prepared by an outside bank. What is that, nearly 2% per week? They could almost give pirate a run for his money. I bet you could smuggle some interesting stuff into this country after buying a foreign company and moving their hard assets here.

The theoretical max performance of a fully populated card is 128 GH/s. It's highly unlikely that we'll ever get close to that peak performance. Nevertheless, there's quite a bit of margin left above the 60 GH/s mark... some of which is being enjoyed in the Mini Rig configuration of the card.
WOW So maybe faster firmware, like the FPGA single, later on I would hope it's just something as simple as adjusting the clock rate, like configuring a GPU.

Forced escrow was a site-killer for me on Bitmit. When you already run an Amazon marketplace shop and get paid when you buy/confirm shipping, any escrow hold length more than that is an insult, especially when you aren't a bloody criminal, rather a terrible salesman who is honest about what he sells.
Escrow should be something that's lifted once you meet certain seller performance requirements. Or at least a 50/50 thing (upfront/on delivery).

It would be better to return the coins without me having to chase you for them.
You know, if you had kept in communication with people here...I would say they're morally obligated to. But since you just re-emerged after weeks of silence just to ask people to correct your fuck up, well...I don't give a shit if they return it or not.
