341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cheapest cryptocurrecny for investment? on: August 02, 2018, 02:23:40 PM
what is going to be the cheapest cryptocurrency to invest at present and get double future return from it? Grin

Research on low cap gems that have big chances of staying in long term. Those are the ones that can give you good returns. Or to be safe, go to the established coins as they are safer investments.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do crypto currency accepted in your country? on: August 02, 2018, 02:21:04 PM
There are some countries ban crypto use. Willing to know if crypto is accepted to in your country. I am wondering if Crypto currency is being used or known in your country.

Not yet but there are establishments that accept crypto payments, mainly bitcoin. I think that's a good step towards the future.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best different between Stock and Crypto? on: August 02, 2018, 02:16:17 PM
I knew Crypto six months ago which time my friend recommend it to me.
But I don't have enough time to research it.
What is the best different between Stock and Crypto?

Stocks are well established while crypto is in it's infancy stage. Crypto is very volatile while stocks aren't. Stocks are safer investment than crypto but crypto can give you crazy gains than stocks.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: August 01, 2018, 03:40:46 PM
Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?

It will be hard but i think regulation will be coming in the future for bitcoin. It won't be drastic but 7 think it will come. But majority will be on the coin exchanges as they can track the bad guys. But i am only speculating here...
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: August 01, 2018, 03:22:07 PM
Bitcoin has come a long way and come really come to stay. As a matter of fact, anytime some people who know nothing about bitcoin are introduce to bitcoin about how bitcoin works, they channel all their attention to whoever is passing the information to them by listening attentively. However, after developing the interest in bitcoin, they quickly revert their interest in bitcoin the moment they hear of the volatile nature of bitcoin, thereby, deciding not to invest into it anymore. Guys, what are some other factors that scare people from investing into bitcoin?

First I think people are afraid 8f new technology. And you need to put money to have a slice of new technology is a major concern for a lot of people. So a lot of them are just following hype or following people who doesn't know what they invested in. And bitcoin price is very volatile that usually scares off people
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who will benefit the most from bitcoin/cryptocurrency? on: July 31, 2018, 04:15:44 PM
I have a friend who is interested in getting into bitcoins but he does not have a lot of savings or any major investments. He also has a lot of debts to pay and has an average wage job with a family of 4 to raise. When we were talking yesterday, I thought: who really would benefit the most from investing in bitcoin or cryptocurrency? Can those who are like my friend get into bitcoin even though he has no major investment? Or is bitcoin only for those who can afford it?

Bitcoin is for everyone. So if your friend does not have the capital 8t is better if he did bounties and campaigns and save up to buy bitcoin. After he saves up let him learn trading so he will have an additional income asides from his job
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: July 31, 2018, 03:57:34 PM
How many idiots who decided to invest in bitcoin!!!!!!!

It is necessary not to watch as he grows from 15000 to 17000. This is a visual illusion.
And as it grows from 1.5 to 1.7.....

In recent days printed 180 million tether and still no big growth....
Lending on the stock exchange came to a billion dollars.
The credit rate on the day was a record and more than the 0.103%.

This means that the market has reached its peak. The price of cryptocurrency maximum.
This is the moment when you have to sell everything.

So began a process of growth needs the infusion of more money.... They're gone.

I think the joy of endless growth to an end this weekend.

Nothing in this world is eternal and permanent.....
And rising prices of bitcoin are not eternal.... all ends already.....

This is the time when bitcoin price skyrocketed so this was not a good time to invest. If you bought. Bitcoin during this time you should have researched to know what you are going into. Do not just follow the hype
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: July 27, 2018, 11:41:44 PM
Should we invest in altcoins?and why?which is better altcoins or equity shares?

Yes, invest in altcoins that have strong foundation, good project, active team and a good community. Basically never invest in shitcoins if you want to hold for long term. But it's better if you diversify, you may put half on alt coins and half on equity shares to be safe.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: July 27, 2018, 11:38:20 PM
Hello,

Im new in crypto and have a question (a stupid one).. I never really gave it much though and now i wonder.

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

Cheers Smiley

Because it is the first cryptocurrency known to people. It's like the base of all crypto coins. And also because of it's limited supply makes a lot of people want to own bitcoin. Most people trade alts to earn more btc.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do when the market is weakening now on: July 27, 2018, 11:36:15 PM
the current crypto market is so weak, there is no increase in the price of crypto, even the price of crypto is getting down, what should we do when the market weaken at this time?

Hold your positions or average down, but only on the good alts. Or you may start buying some alts that are dirt cheap and are at their ATL at the moment, or wait til everything stabilizes as btc dominance is quite high, alts may bleed more if btc continues its move up.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when is safe to sell my alts? on: July 27, 2018, 11:33:40 PM
Hi all i have a lot of altcoins i invested before the bloody days and now most of then are down lik 50%. Should i sell them with no profit but also no loss or shold i keep them a little more to make profit? what would you do?

If you can wait a little longer for the market to reverse, you may hold as prices now are really and it's not a good time to sell, unless you needed money.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: July 27, 2018, 03:49:33 PM
I have read several posts on this forum where people have claimed to have invested all the money they have on Bitcoin, I also read a post where a guy claimed to have used all the $20,000 his uncle gave him to also invest in Bitcoin, some even sold their landed property. The reason for these risks and others is the firm believe that Bitcoin would be $50,000 - $100,000 by the year 2019 or thereabout.

First, I must say that I admire the courage and high risk appetite of such persons. But, I must also warn.
Yes, It is good for everyone to have high hopes for Bitcoin, and also hope it gets to 100k USD in future, but you should also consider a safety factor in anything you do including investing.

Mathematically,

DO NOT Assume,
P(Success of future term) = 1 ; and
P(Failure of future term) = 0

This implies that, you must always leave a little fraction for probability of failure which in this case is the safety factor, no matter how little the fraction may be. Simply put, you don't have absolute control of what happens to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in the future.

Invest wisely, only invest what you can afford to loose

Just a piece of advice.

What are your own suggestions?

It is really important to diversify your investment so that if 1 fails you still have something left. We are firm believers of bitcoin but it is better not to put everything you have on bitcoin.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin price effect on Altcoin on: July 26, 2018, 11:37:21 PM
Hey everyone,
How strongly Altcoin value relate to bitcoin price. Can we know the condition of ETH/BTC ratio by analyzing BTC/USD value ?

Bitcoin is like the base and foundation of all altcoins, I'm saying this because almost all alts if not all are correlated to the price and movement of bitcoin. Every move of bitcoin, alts suffer. Bitcoin goes up, alts bleed, bitcoin goes down, alts bleed, bitcoin goes sideways, alts can breathe and move up.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: July 26, 2018, 11:34:37 PM
Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks

Always do research and see to it that you are investing in the right project, never buy on top, don't FOMO and if price still keeps dropping, you may opt to put stop loss if you don't wanna be a bag holder or buy more and average down.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be a global currency on: July 26, 2018, 04:28:25 PM
Technology believers believe that bitcoin is the mission of decentralization, the future of the world currency.

BTC just need, relative scarcity and the manufacturing cost, nature has the price, the price is the fluctuation, as long as access to the securitization in the human history of human use of the most profound institutional invention, the currency is likely to generate huge profits.

You have a lot of money and you have followers. With followers there is a crowd. The masses will naturally divide.

With differentiation, there is naturally a blank majority. Naturally, there are evil men who have been swindled. Nature has its center and leadership.

This is the history of bitcoin's journey along the way, which is why the BTC creator went to the center to turn the government against the pursuit of liberalism.

But on a philosophical basis, technologists are wrong.

The beginning of human birth is said to be monkeys. No government, no center. No money, no inflation. Government is not the product of power, but the government itself is the product of liberalism.

Because freedom must be evil, freedom itself creates chaos, and chaos leads to the pursuit of order, thus freedom produces power and bad power transition to good power.

In the world of BTC, new centralization has begun:

Global mining is concentrated in the hands of a few. The maintenance and development of bitcoin is concentrated in the hands of few digital farmers. The influence of virtual currency is concentrated in the hands of a few big v.

They are the new army, the new bureaucracy, the new emperor. Are these people trustworthy?

The emergence of BTC is a technological advance in the history of human currency. It makes up for the deficiency of the existing monetary system and should also promote the reform of the existing monetary system.

Like insurrection, it is either extinguished or assimilated into the long river of history.

I do not think bitcoin would be a world currency. Governments just won't allow that to happen. But i do think that bitcoin will be the digital currency of the future. More and more people are using bitcoin and it is not far from reality
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales really control the market, or is that a myth on: July 26, 2018, 04:12:27 PM
Is there any evidence that these mysterious 'whales' really control the bitcoin market, or is this a myth generated as people try to understand why bitcoin prices go up and down?

I do not think that there is evidence about whales controlling the market. It is just speculation that they can manipulate some coins and bitcoin like buying or selling in bulk. Maybe a group of whales to maximize control. But not regular coin holders as it needs a big amount to move the market and coordination
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rise altcions fall! on: July 26, 2018, 02:42:06 PM
After a long period of dependency we see now that the bitcoin rise alone and other major altcoins are down or stay at their price...what do you think about that

We have noticed that when bitcoin either rises or falls in price majority of alt coins drop in price. That is just the way it is. You just have to wait it out until altcoins rise in price. The market will normalize in time
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN NO ONE SELLS BUT HODL? on: July 26, 2018, 02:24:19 PM
I have been monitoring so many post about HODL! HODL!! HODL!!! I am a victim of that but I have sat down and analyzed something. We should all know what will happen when we all decide to HODL. This will be one of the deadliest that will ever happen in cryptocurrencies. When we all decide to HODL I think the markets will go down and the green markets we want will never com. Also BTC will die when we all decide to HODL. I think we can at the same time SELL and BUY to keep our greatest cryptocurrency alive. I stand to be corrected and also we can add some to it as to what will happen.

I think you got things all wrong. When people will hodl bitcoin then bitcoin price will surely skyrocket as demand will be very high and if majority is hodling then it would be difficult to buy so the price will surely go up.
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: July 25, 2018, 03:16:44 PM
I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

This is still very far from reality. Bitcoin is for money transfers and the likes. But now it is made as an investment and a money making machine. It is not at alo bad but it is far from its intended purpose.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: July 20, 2018, 11:47:11 PM
How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

Only put in money that you are comfortable with investing. An amount which in you won't mind not using for a long time. An extra money sitting idle in you bank account and not the money you will be needing anytime soon.
