341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An advanced technology could kill crypto? on: January 29, 2022, 08:04:07 PM
The world of technology is evolving every year what if in future a new tech is been born that can kill crypto or works better than crypto won't this kill cryptocurrencies?

Also I heard that super computers can get through all crypto wallet keys easily in a matter of days, true or false?
I believe there could be a possible way of decryption to any encrypted data. But in the mean time while we wait for the advent of such super computers we can still enjoy the little security guaranteed by the current Blockchain technology at hand but if by chance the crypto get replaced by another advanced technology it would not be completely wiped off rather there would be a correlation between both technologies
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralization ain't the solution to everything on: January 29, 2022, 07:52:59 PM
Been lawful or lawless is a choice after all in the centralized society people still device means of executing their crimes and still have an escape root. Just like you wouldn't discourage the internet because scammers use it on their victims same way you wouldn't discourage decentralization because it's an anonymous network. What ever way be it Centralized or Decentralized crime will still go on so let's buy the data security and learn to be security conscious. All I see about the decentralized technology is that it would groom a society that would be every learning to stay out of scammers and cyber hackers

344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: we can still rely on the bounty.. on: January 27, 2022, 01:25:40 PM
Bounty's this days is getting lots of compromise but it won't warranty giving up currently it's a 50:50 possibility but for the sake of earning some coin mostly from a promising project one can just take the risk to engage in one if it turns out positive then the Smile rolls else one can just sit back and patiently wait for another. Judging a full basket because a single egg is bad is a bad way of judging. I will trying out my luck
345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens to your network if bitcointalk go offline on: January 27, 2022, 11:29:52 AM
Bitcoin has grown beyond been  just mere digital currency it has grown to building networks of developers and investors who share similar interest so if Bitcoin talk should go offline the network would still continue in discord, reddit , GitHub, stalkoverflow and many other resource sites where developers and investors share similar interest. I don't think true Bitcoin investors and developers would ever get stranded except for those who gamble around Bitcoin and other crypto currencies
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON Round of 16. on: January 27, 2022, 11:04:23 AM
AFCON has been boring since the start, no much goals, most of the matches played are less than 2 goals, also the round of 16 knockout has been boring, let us see if this will still later change but I doubt that.
It might be pretty boring from the quality and goal perspective, but also it is pretty dramatic. With Nigeria and Ivory Coast two favorites are already out. Now all eyes are on Senegal and Cameroon. They seem to have an easy way into the final, but this tournament has shown that it is good for surprises. I do expect them to win their quarter finals, but the semi-final could get very interesting.
After Nigeria and Ivory coast got knocked out I gamble based on favouritism because there is no reasonable statistics to base my prediction on. But to be frank the AFCON tournament has been boring from the onset. Cameroon could likely play the finals because they are the host country and maybe matches might just work out to their favour. I have decided to take what ever comes from AFCON prediction in good faith
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who creates more impact in bitcoin price the Hodlers or Investors? on: January 26, 2022, 09:38:18 PM
For you to hold you must have invested you can't hold what you don't have in your possession so both category belongs to the same set of people and it takes collective efforts of everyone in the Bitcoin network to influence the price rate. Market price is typically moved by the whales because the have the huge funds to either ass value or depreciate the value of any coin.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 26, 2022, 09:30:26 PM
Of course, so many people would be happy to see Bayern Munich's high dominance ending finally in the Bundesliga. But for now, it still doesn't seem like a thing that is very likely to happen. Dortmund have dropped the gap with them to six points, yeah. But this is still a big advantage for a team like Bayern Munich. They don't make mistakes too often. Dortmund are helpless against them because of that. The only thing they can do is to keep winning and hope for Bayern Munich to stumble more than now.
I don't really like how Bayern has proven to remain the most favorite this season. Bundles liga isn't that competitive as in other times as it's easier to predict Bayern matches most of the times because they rarely lose their matches. I just wish there another was a club in the bundles liga that can stand up to compete with Bayern Dortmund was on the process but dropped
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: January 26, 2022, 09:15:55 PM
I guess polygon and solana as a network project have great assets to keep to wait for the next bull. I also see on the network they publish a lot of NFT. Now we are the era of NFT, while waiting for the bull to come, I want to keep between polygon and solana.
NFTs are taking the lead in the investment market where most virtual valuables are making so much waves another project I strongly believe in is Solana and I am willing to buy more and hold waiting for the next bull run to make profit. Lots of projects are out there but definitely soany will crash out before the next bull run
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: January 25, 2022, 08:50:34 PM
One beautiful thing here is that priority differs and definitely everyone would be looking for Same thing from casinos and gambling sites. One thing I don't joke with is my personal data and try everything possible to avoid sites that wants to know me in-depth. I can cope with anything else but definitely not having a site toil with my data because it would be used against me.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 25, 2022, 08:38:18 PM
When it comes to the Copa del Rey game between Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid, it can be really interesting for sure. Because these teams played against each other in the Super Cup finale and Real Madrid reached the championship by 2-0. But Athletic Bilbao still didn't play that bad in that game. I think that they will see this as a revenge game and do their best to defeat Real Madrid this time. As they have an advantage of playing in their home stadium, Athletic Bilbao can really surprise us.
Athletic Bilbao isn't a weak team but if they intend playing for a revenge against Real Madrid then they might end up conceding even more goals to Real in the Copa del Rey. Maldrid still stand as the favorite between both teams  despite their home advantage it doesn't stop them from losing out. Playing at home this days doesn't guarantee winning I think a good team work does
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: little knowledge about gambling - before I knowing bitcointalk.org forum on: January 25, 2022, 08:31:59 PM
As we know that Gambling offers players the chance to pocket a lot of money, but it can also lead to significant monetary losses (which we all had). Even though I'm new to this forum, but I want to share a little experience related to gambling on various online sites. While you may hear it often, here's a snippet:
1. Know when is the right time to stop playing.
2. Set limits and monitor your money.
3. Safeguard your budget.
The best gamblers I know are constantly vigilant and always evaluate the balance between losses and gains.
And The best advice I could give to someone who wants to start gambling is probably to never start gambling to win. It's definitely the worst approach that in the long run leads to the financial ruin of any novice gambler.

I just wish this rules were as easy as you state them. It's difficult for a jobless person to set limits not to mention knowing when to stop all an idle gambler glamours for is to hit a major jackpot that could change their lives forever some gets lucky with it and others gets motivated from such wins and tries harder to hit theirs and end up been swallowed by it's addiction
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 25, 2022, 08:25:36 PM
It was really not good that Milan drew with Juventus the last time. They actually were the better performing team but this still didn't change anything for them. Juventus were successful as for keeping the score at 0-0.  They were really bad in this game and they must be really grateful for not losing this one. But their general form is still good though. And it was a bad result for Milan just before the Inter game in the league. This might cause the gap to open even more and this would make Inter's job easier on the road to the title.
Both teams made an attempt but Milan has the upper hand in the game. This season Milan is just running out of luck the play quality football but  most of their attempts still struggle to find it's way into the net. I think this should just be the key focus for Milan. Juventus gave in their best also and they would be glad the earned a single point from. Milan
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling In Crypto on: January 25, 2022, 08:17:35 PM
Recently I have started to gamble with crypto, and other coins. Looking to speak with anyone who has had similar experiences. I find it much more effective than gambling with fiat. Let’s use this thread to discuss pros/cons and how us users can improve it!

Thanks!

I also love gambling with crypto over fiat because of the ease to funding directly from my wallet and my most preferred is decentralized casinos. Crypto has made my gambling and also helped in saving me from unnecessary KYC verifications and also reduced issues of withdrawal scandals from casino operators. To Blockchain  has made the life of the private dudes a reality we now gamble with our full identity well secured gambling anonymously
355  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are not cryptocurrencies on: January 24, 2022, 09:36:58 PM
Investors are coming to know this by the day. Most government agencies tries to make their citizens believe it's better investing in their digital currency than crypto trying hard to discourage them from having crypto investment so as to promote their digital currency but it's actually nice seeing that the knowledge of how they two operates and that both represent two different things while crypto currency is majorly decentralized although bwe still have some centralized crypto. CBDCS is a clear picture of centralized entity.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 24, 2022, 09:30:29 PM
You have to see that currently, Man United is in 4th position and if you are still not convinced, in the previous 5 games Man United has improved in beating the opponent. From 5 matches including FA Cup with Aston Villa in 3rd Round, 4 wins by narrow score, and 1 draw against Aston Villa in Premier League. So far I think Man United made a few moves although not as significant as possible.
I understand that, Man United need an adjustment process with Rangnick. I think whoever the coach is they need adaptation. That adaptation has been a long way off and now Man United have played like Rangnick's will. The movement of seizing the ball is very visible, they simultaneously presing on the opposing player. At least a few wins have given Man United the chance to keep going to ucl next season. "I think at the moment Man United is still unstable.
Manchester united performance isn't by merit I think it's more of luck and it's working for them. They are yet to build a strong team base even though the narrowly find their way to either win or draw in which the comfortably draw most of the times and in some cases still lose their games. Their game against west ham is just a fresh picture of what Manchester games looks like I just wish Rangnick could possibly make good improvement on their team
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The best time to delete your wallet on: January 24, 2022, 08:16:41 PM
This is very emotional period for crypto investors and lots of people are beginning to panic. If I should suggest it's time to buy more then delete the wallet from your close monitoring while you carefully secure your private key. The bull will definitely take the upper hand again but to when this change will effect no one can tell except for mere speculation. So why not save yourself the heartbreak and delete the wallet while you hold for a long term
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can I control my gambling addiction ?? on: January 24, 2022, 07:22:36 PM
Once a victim is addicted to gambling such cannot breakout of it easily by once self. An easy way out is   to confide  in a close relative or someone or a registered agency assigned to handle gambling addiction. You could possibly visit a a physiatrist. You also need to build strong discipline with your finance if it's a difficult task then avoid handling your funds your self
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 22, 2022, 09:20:54 PM
Atletico Madrid have an important match to play today against Valencia. They have to win, because losing the match might result to them losing their current position. Although, Atletico performance lately are quite poor, they lost in the Supercopa de España semi finals to Athletic Club, and also lost in the Copa del Rey Round 16 match against Real Sociedad last Wednesday. However, I don't think Valencia will be able to beat their host today. The game likely to draw draw, or Atletico will probably win with a goal difference.

At the moment, however, Atletico are losing 2-0 to Valencia. And Valencia are playing dirty, they got 4 yellow cards in the first half against two for Atletico, 6 yellow cards in the first half... It could come to two three penalties per game if they don't make substitutions. Plus they scored a goal in the dressing room, which I think had a big moral impact on Atlético
One beautiful thing I love about laliga is the difficulty in making prediction. Athletico Maldrid in my area was the favorite but Valencia has made many bets void tonight. It's 0-2 lead already Valencia doing wonders playing away against Athletico Maldrid. I hope to see more goals in this match atleast Athletico wouldn't end the match without a single goal for consolation
360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your thoughts about online casino vs.physical casino on: January 22, 2022, 09:14:31 PM
Have you ever played online casino? Is the experience similar to playing physically in casino?Which do you prefer?

The experience is way too different. Online casinos most times are boring because one is only limited to his screen view no side attraction no unnecessary noise no fun to keep losers smiling even after losing all the have. The difference is way too much and can't be compared. I think the advantage online casinos has over physical casino bis the total privacy and space
