341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PSB] Pesobit, Philippine-based crypto on: October 15, 2016, 09:15:00 AM
Staking in now open in the online wallet.
It provides slightly higher rewards than your staking desktop wallets but will lock your coins for 30 days.
For now, it only consumes your Available Pesobits in the wallet. Within the next few days, we will also allow bitcoin payment.

To clarify on the announcement yesterday: The debit card that will work as Visa or Mastercard and withdrawable via ATM will be attached to another wallet outside of the current online wallet.
The current online wallet will be your Pesobit wallet. The other wallet will be your local currency wallet attached to the banking industry where you can top up your debit cards, pay bills or do a typical bank withdrawal.
The online wallet will have a connection to your Philippine Peso wallet so you can convert your Pesobit to Philippine Peso without going through the bitcoin network. There could also be another option for you to withdraw your Pesobit->Peso and that's via coins.ph API.
The Philippine Peso wallet attached to your wallet.pesobit.net has no name yet and it will be a registered company and need to comply with the government's rules and regulations and that includes customer verification (KYC).

It will be a long process but it could be complete and operational around late November or early December and this acts as the Recipient solution in the Remittance sector as overseas workers' families can easily receive their money using Pesobit Debit Card. The rates of Pesobit will use the existing conversion rates among all the exchanges.
Some overseas workers will then have to buy Pesobit using their bitcoin either via one of the exchanges, coinomi via shapeshift once complete or another service that allows local currency to Pesobit conversion.

It will be a continuous development aimed to make Pesobit as easily usable as possible acting as a better alternative and solution to current systems and the debit card solution is only one of the solutions and opens more opportunities. Some options also include NFC-based cards and mobile solutions for merchants that can act as a POS.

What news today with PESOBIT..??
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PSB] Pesobit, Philippine-based crypto on: October 15, 2016, 08:47:43 AM
I have found a critical bug in psb block chain involving poswallet.com specially.

I recommend that you try to contact the Pesobit dev about this and provide more info. Thanks
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PSB] Pesobit, Philippine-based crypto on: October 15, 2016, 08:25:33 AM
This is why people like me want to sell PSB locally to Filipinas and Filipinos, directly, paid in local cash currency.

This can be done in whichever country they need PSB.
I hope  dev team have future plans to work with local exchanges here in taiwan to add psb .. a lot of ofws more or less 100k , this move will create huge demand for psb for sure..

I think that is already included on the roadmap. We just need to wait and trust the Pesobit Team will implement their plans successfully.

Had a long meeting few hours ago.
Pesobit will be able to connect to the banking network.
There will be another platform that will act as your peso wallet which you can load up via your pesobits.
This peso wallet will be attached to the banking network meaning you will be able to buy load, pay your bills, load up your debit card and many more.
Your debit card will work as atm so it can be a remittance solution.
Your peso wallet can also be used for ecommerce using a tap and pay kind of system.

Another great update Dev! Smiley

Actually no lol I'm just rolling with free roll coins, I've made good profit already and just warning people of coins that go on yobit and not being on a bigger exchange. If you do not know Yobit already, that's a manipulator's paradise.

All crypto exchanges are manipulator's paradises.

Also, Yobit, which you claim is not a big exchange, is actually 25% bigger than Bittrex, which everyone seems to want. Yobit is not small!

Here is the fact:

http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Thanks for this information. My eyes have been opened Smiley

What is Coinomi, a future wallet of Pesobit?

Coinomi is a mobile wallet with multi-coin support and shapeshift.io integration which means you can convert Pesobit to dozens of different coins at ease including Bitcoin, Etherium, Doge, Litecoin and many more without going to an exchange. See all the supported coins and features here.

https://coinomi.com/

Once we have the exact ETA already then it will be announced.

Currently works in Android and downloadable in Google Play. But Windows, Linux, mobile iOS, and MAC wallets will also be available soon.

And since it is mobile, barcode scanning when sending funds is possible.

Great Move for Pesobit! This is pretty Awesome!

Your coins are not mature yet, it usually takes around 4 hrs for them to mature then your coins will start staking. To know more tips and guides just visit pesobit.net Smiley

Hahaha Salamat Sir BW!

Yes sa lahat! you can try the FB group chat of Pesobit or you can send your email to dev so you can have an invite for the PSB official slack channel. SO you will get to know more about PSB. More guides on pesobit.net

Or groupchats in facebook, there are always people there who you can talk to regarding Pesobit.

BTW. Any of you have long experience using Coinomi? Is Pesobit a good addition to Coinomi? Let me know your thoughts. For those who haven't used them, you can visit https://coinomi.com

Coinomi is good. Please try to add PSB on the list, with this PSB holders can easily get the mobile wallet they need either android or iOS.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Terracoin 1.0 (TRC) on: October 11, 2016, 02:58:03 AM
Terracoin News Update

I have been working on the road map for TRC now that the hard fork is done and we have some good mining stats.  We still need to get the word out to a lot of sites to update their wallets, or that Terracoin is now alive and well.  Please inform everyone you can.  Thanks!

As I have been working on the road map for TRC it has become a series of questions.  The Terracoin Foundation doesn't want to dictate how things are run so as I work on the road map let's start with the simplest question.

Which two exchanges should we try and join?

Post your suggesting after this and I will update the poll here on this thread.

We will not be trying to get added to Yobits, or BTC-E, because there is too much controversy with those exchanges.  Yes, I understand the irony of me saying we won't dictate then immediately dictating something.

Terracoin-PR should be doing a TRC give away sometime soon.  He works full time and volunteers for other coins so he hasn't had time to get the give away going.  We currently have 32k worth of TRC in the general donations addresses and I would like to give away 30k of it.

Thanks everybody!

Go for bittrex!

Yup... Personally, Qt/Windows wallets would be the best option for now while we wait for the staking feature of the online wallet to be activated...

It's always a good practice for one to have his coins at his disposal specially if no plan in selling it yet  Smiley

They will enable the staking on the online wallet of PSB soon so just wait for further announcement. Or you can keep your PSB on your desktop or laptop so you can start staking.

Uhh... I thought they already done that, enabling stake on online wallet, aren't they?

I dont know which one you are referring about the staking:
To all desktop wallets, staking is already working. On poswallet.com, staking is also working.
For the official online wallet of PSB, the staking feature is not enabled yet, so as I have said wait for further news.

I was about to move my amount from poswallet to c-cex when I see that it has a "staking" note on its right-most side. Two question.

First, I never played a coin this new like this, so I never had any experience, but doing a simple google I got that we can say that staking means we let our coin sits for a while and gain certain amount after several time, right?

Second, will I be still staking if I move my coin to c-cex? Will there be any difference with if I keep it on poswallet or put it on any other wallet? (oh, that's three question)

Supposedly, in-site wallets in C-cex should be 'cold' wallet and will not stake... Stake 'harvesting' in C-cex will not happen just like with other pos coins before otherwise the reward stakes from the non-moving sell orders may be the free psb coins for C-cex  Grin

So, since I don't intended to selling it anytime soon, it will be better if I kept my amount on poswallet? Or do you have a better suggestion?

I've never been on c-cex before so i never know, how long does it take for a coin to be listed and available from winning a spot? I mean, how long will it take for psb to officially listed on its trading wall? Not that I want to sell them at all, I decide to wait for a few more while because I believe this coin has prospect, I just can't wait to move my amount from poswallet to the wallet c-cex provide.

The fastest is within 24 hours. We just need to wait and see.

I think Richi from bittrex will never add that coin!!!
Dont press on him too much! More you pres more shit you will do!
Bittrex will never add your coin!

How certain are you , that bittrex will never add PSB? For what reasons ? are you associated with bittrex team? bittrex added a lot of coins with no volume, developments etc.. Look at psb dude it can bring a lot more volume to their exchange in the long run, for sure...  Wink

You can just hope! Ask on slack and you will see!!!
As far as i  know there is no way any bittrex staff will comment to any inquiries about a coin being added to their exchange in slack i've been there for years ..
My guess is, the coin your supporting never add by bittrex .. Right???

Yes they will not say if a coin will be listed on their exchange.

therefore do bitrex just add coins immediatelly? i mean do they announce before they add one coin?

Thanks

They will just add it with no pre announcement.

Hey guys any info on the ESP1 - BTC trading on cryptopia? I still have some ESP1 there and now the already removed that market and my coins are lost.

Check you "Balances" and ESP should be there still (I saw it just a day ago for one of my accounts).
If you don't have anythign there please create a support ticket. If you have still not heard from them in a couple days then let us know please.

Already filed a complaint, good thing they are are quick to respond and I immediately saw my lost ESP on my balance.
