341  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity of money on: March 21, 2023, 02:19:09 PM
We do not lack money but what we lack is the opportunity to make money here, economic barriers from macro to micro directly affect the life of each household, or the economy of a country.
After the crises in society in recent years, I think things are getting worse and now we are also experiencing a major military conflict and very likely widening the scope of the conflict war.
This is the exact same thing I would like to say. IMO, based on my country's current situation, some of us lack the opportunity to make money. Money is there but the oportunities given are scarce, there're offer or course but the competition is very high. Let's just say we there are job offers, the thing is you need to prove why you are different from others who has the same field as you.

In terms of investment? It will be a bigger competition coz not everyone starts at the same starting line. Money isn't the problem/scarce but the lack of opportunity, there is also a case where financial education is a problem coz once they got the money they tend to spend it on not conventional things or sometimes used for needs coz money is scarce and that's the only time they'd get the chance to make money so they'll choose it for their basic needs first and the rest is for investing, but the catch is their needs sometimes are much more expensive than what they earn.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can end poverty? In a nation today on: March 21, 2023, 12:53:33 PM
You can't eradicate poverty in a whole nation; it can only be reduced. The level to which a nation and its citizens are enlightened and educated, as well as the poverty level in that nation, can be reduced to a minimal level but can't be eradicated.

I highly agree with that. You know even without crypto, you can only solve poverty if the government will provide opportunity those who are experiencing poverty. The thing about poverty is that some of those people who experience poverty, once they are given a relief they will no longer work for themselves and would depend on those benefits provided by the government. That's mostly the case and what I can see here in my country.

Saying that Bitcoin can solve poverty? No if we're talking about bitcoin alone, but if it we say change the way how they think about finance then there is a possibility that they will change their approach and ways to escape poverty, same as what we commonly here today about education. Education alone isn't the solution.

Congratulations to you bro. I know it's very hard to graduate and have a decent education while working specially in 3rd world countries, but I still applaud you for not backing out and still pursuing it. Just keep your head held high bro and your feet on the ground, for sure one day you will receive so many blessings you have never expected. Cheers bro from the Philippines!! Grin
344  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: new Scam ba to sa Facebook? on: March 21, 2023, 08:06:40 AM
Mas advisable na wag mo nalang i click at baka mapahamak pa account pati personal information mo.

345  Economy / Services / Re: Utopia P2P Ecosystem 💎 | Review Campaign 🔎| Participate Now! | Get paid in BTC on: March 21, 2023, 06:39:32 AM
@karmamiu of course feel free to invite your friends to apply in this campaign and at the same time join the Utopia free raffle weekly.

Hi @Text I’m sorry but unfortunately I wouldn’t accept user which has a feedback related to abusing campaigns. I hope you understand.
I have already recommended this program to some of my friends (don't know if they actually downloaded the client or not). As far as I am concern some of my friends don't have accounts here on the forum so sadly, they couldn't participate on the review.

My intention why I am sharing this to them is to widen the scope of audience, and that means it will increase the number of users and it will be easy to spread out or expand. I genuinely like the program due to its low fees and easier to navigate sections/interface, that's one of the reasons why I told my friends about this coz maybe they would also recommend this to their circle of friends.

I am also pretty sure that rules before they're rewarded is the following aside from the review they should've :

*Senior Member account
*At very least minimum of 5 merits

I think they didn't qualify both or maybe all of the said rules.

Have a great day mga kabayan  Cheesy
347  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas Merit Cafe on: March 21, 2023, 03:48:45 AM
348  Local / Pilipinas / GHOST COMMERCE on: March 20, 2023, 04:36:22 PM

Sa pag usbong ng internet sa ating bansa, dumarami na rin ang mayroon ng mga gadget kagaya ng cellphone at iba pa, marami din ang nangangamba sa kanilang seguridad at gusto nilang itago ang kanilang pagkakakilanlan, kaya isa ito sa pamamaraan ng mga mamimili upang maiwasan ang pasisiyasat ng gobyerno at malalaking korporasyon. Iilang lang ito sa benepisyong makukuha sa Ghost Commerce, subalit kung may benepisyo man, meron din itong mga panganib kagaya ng mga sumusunod;

* kakulangan sa tiwala ng nagbebenta/mamimili
* makabili ng mga depektibo at pekeng mga produkto
* kakulangan ng warranty
* potensyal na maparusahan sa pakikilahok sa mga ilegal na transaksyon

351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Feel Inadequate or Inspired After Watching These Types of Traders Content on: March 20, 2023, 07:55:07 AM
I watch them for fun not to compare myself from them. I sometimes get some terminologies I commonly don't hear every day. Of course you will think "how envious of them, how I wish I could do those things too", or "I'm at this age and I'm still a mess compared to them". If those things affect your mental health, then you should look for other videos rather than watching them just to be stressed out. I often times watch Graham on his youtube channel reviewing those with captioned "a daily life of..." for fun not to be discourage or be stressed. As they say this world is unfair, and it is true to some extent, coz not everyone is given the same resources and conditions like what we've watched on the videos. Imagine them starting trading at young age having $500 on their accounts, me when I was young? I'd be lucky to even get $20 a month utilizing all the resources I have and use that amount to start trading. What's more? Before I could invest that money, I still needed to reach a certain amount to avail minimum requirement to open an account in the bank, plus there're still fees and some other requirements that is not that easy to get. As I've said earlier, not everyone starts at the same starting line, for them it is easy to say "save your $5 so you can invest and start trading", but for me? it is almost worth 2 weeks of hard work and grind. One thing I've realized from being poor is that, if you keep on comparing yourself to others who're already successful, you'll eventually find yourself more and more stressed by finding more flaws on yourself and you will start to complain and mentally exhaust yourself disturbing your decision making.

356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my lack of knowledge has blinded me so far on: March 20, 2023, 03:24:00 AM
To be honest, i dont understand why some ppl so mad at KYC... and would like to know opinions of who is against that, just to understand an their view.
Some ppl have been traumatized their KYC being sold on the dark market or used by a scammer to cheat. So that case, makes people unwilling to prove their KYC on gambling sites and exchanges. We have to respect that and not force them to do KYC because of trauma. Some people even try to forget it and try to do KYC again, but again, His ID card was found on the black market again. So while the website still can't keep the customer data, then KYC is still becomes a scourge by traumatic people.

While some are just avoiding it just for the sake that they want their identity hidden , they want their personal information as anonymous as possible.

Personally I don't have issues regarding KYC if it's meant to be used for verification and also when I trusted the platforms. Sometimes it could also help you when recovering accounts. There was one time I lost my phone and the only thing that I could recover is my email, on that particular platform, they have their own personal username and personal code. It was a huge hurdle for me to prove myself coz after I lost my phone they would send the OTP or one time password to my mobile number, unfortunately when I tried to "forgot password" it asked me about my personal username and personal code which I even lost along with my phone. Though it's my problem for not having a hardcopy backup, I still managed to get my account because it's verified but it took me 3 days due to several questions like transactions in my account and some questions.

In the end I was grateful that I manage to recover my account and changed my number due to the help of KYC.
357  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PHLWIN Fraud/Scam nga ba? on: March 19, 2023, 12:42:12 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2Cfo_fmC_Y

What I mean is yung mga followers nila ginagawa nilang affiliate sa promotions nila.

358  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Can I post this ? on: March 19, 2023, 11:52:39 AM

As long as you can show credible and strong evidence, your problem can definitely be resolved in a casino. And also agree with the story that you said just put your accusation in the scam accusationhere in the forum and hopefully you will get what is right for you.

How will the problem be solved if there is not even a representative of this casino on the forum? In any case, the player got off lightly and was able to get his deposit back. Frankly, I don't understand people who gamble on such platforms at all.

Just take a look at this page:

It already looked shady to me in just a glance. I know it's difficult to understand people why they still want to gamble in this shady sites, but I had once asked a neighbor of mine who also loved to explore such sites and he told me that, it's because people don't want to experience FOMO specially in my country. He also said not everyone can afford to gamble on some big time casinos due to minimum deposits, but still want to gamble even smaller amounts. I was like "what's the point?", in the end it only makes me confused.

Here in my country there're still so many people who would love to gamble on shady sites, just recently there is this gambling site that became popular in our country named Phlwin, and whenever something happens like getting scammed, they will keep complaining like are these people even serious?
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dare to take such gamble? on: March 19, 2023, 11:12:08 AM
If you can afford to lose 1 BTC, why not? Cheesy

Every person have different total wealth and how much they can make in one month, a rich person can afford to lose 1 BTC, similar like the twitter account you posted above where he can afford to lose $1 Million in USDC.

But if you ask me, I can't afford to lose 1 BTC, of course I will not take such challenge.
Precisely! If $30k or so doesn't hurt you that much then you can go and try to do the bet. Same calculation as to how much you'll earn in the timeframe of 3 months since he's giving you 90 days. Well, personally if I were offered that much and I have the capability to earn more than that within a month then I'll try to gamble, not due to TA's or anything but just pure gamble. Besides there is also no assurance that Bitcoin will reach $1M within that time frame, there's also a high chance that the price will stagnate to that amount for a couple of months or so. The odds are against him too and you can buy more after the gamble if you felt like it so it's still a win-win situation for me. How I wish I could make that much money in month.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌔 Moon.win - Web3 Dice Game & Gambling Platform on: March 19, 2023, 10:26:52 AM
I'd like to see more honest reviews from this platform in this forum. Aside from the good user interface I have read that the tx costs for a bit? I am not so sure but that's what I've read earlier. Hoping to see more web3 bases casinos in the future too, I think this'll be he leading platform if this'll get the proper headstart, coz I've only seen few of this concepts when web started to get popular. Commonly I only hear or see web3 platforms used on some social media related sites.
