Don't mind me

Spontaneous ideas that suddenly appear but must also be in accordance with the topic to be discussed. It was about creating topics, but ok. If you get the merit of your spontaneous comments without taking too much time, that's great. But I don't agree with the "don't care, the better" part. Concern for what will be discussed is very important and this will be a reference for how you can digest the topic being discussed.
If something relevant arises in the mind while reading the topic/comment then I comment otherwise move on.

Tbf life itself can be compared to gambling

'expecting nothing' is necessary part, as the saying goes - no expectation, no disappointment.
Most merits I have accumulated are from topics which were spontaneous ideas and barely took few minutes to come to fruition.
The less you give a fuck, the better.

What will happen if ETH collapses due to centralization? Will it take the whole crypto market down with it?
No, only Bitcoin does that, but ethereum based tokens will go down with it.

Bad idea, why not buy coins which have survived test of prior bear markets rather than bothering with unknowns?

I would add alert (mention/quotes) system and leave the rest as it is

'chance' and 'upto', don't bother

To Dollar Cost Averaging, you don't have to have lot of money. You must have confidence with your investment and discipline to follow your DCA strategy. If you are not disciplined, you can not do DCA. Doesnt need lots of money? Yes you do have a point but this is something noticeable if we do make out some comparison in between to those who do have lots and compared to have less then we know on who would be the one to have the advantage.Yes, you could dca with less funds but of course it would really be just limited. $$ amount is never an equal field, one should bother with return in % rather than $ amount.

Came across this in last gitcoin grants round and just gave it a try. Don't understand some stuff but leisurely uploaded content, locked it with random token - it works. Content is TLS encrypted. Supports most famous file types, token/nft gated wallet sharing. Files are ipfs stored. If you want to try: https://beta.fileverse.ioTwitter: https://nitter.kavin.rocks/fileverseio

You missed YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and others
Those services are pure cancer tbh, Instagram/fb more so. If you go for crypto news on these platforms, you will fill your mind with unnecessary garbage. Reddit: Casual, best for laughs and giggles
Bitcointalk: Where slangs are rare sight
Crypto Twitter: Home of prediction experts /s
Discord: Imo best way to keep up with projects
Telegram: Spam home
When a hunter writes a story titled "The hunter and the Lion", be rest assured that the story will always glorify the hunter . I really hope you understand what I mean by this.I would have been really surprised if Bitcointalk had less votes in the poll, then I would have asked the voters why the hell they are still here if Bitcointalk isnt their best. Accurate but didn't expect votes others received. Expected difference but not this much.

The send-to-email thing was really active in around that same year though? I remember people sending me Coinbase invite back when you didn't need to be a US citizen to sign up and it was through email. You'd just get a message saying hey you have $10 in BTC, and you already have a wallet, just use your email and create a password!
It's more like refer and earn, you click on link > enter details > create account > get referral bonus credited. it isn't creating/sending transaction.

Bitcoin discussion,

..Supply if validators consent?

"I'm sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume." — Billions of daily volume Bitcoin may be replaced by something better in 10 years, though I think that it's more likely that Bitcoin will survive and be very popular. — BTC-ETH flippening? The protocol and network will look a lot different. There will have been at least one major hardfork that changes quite a bit of the protocol. — Have you got something on this one (not counting separate chains — BCH, BSV, etc)? A lot of transactions will probably occur through a payment system on top of Bitcoin because Bitcoin transactions will be somewhat more expensive than they are today. — Lightning network? Maybe Bitcoin transactions will work more like email and you'll send transactions to an address like theymos@fast-bitcoin.com — Not on bitcoin but it's available on ethereum and some other chains.
Great prophecy tbh

These people got themselves etched in history of Bitcoin but I'm sure they must be having those days thinking what if — I held those BTC instead of spending?

...does this mean if wallet is accessed by hacker that they can then access connected sites ?...
If wallet itself is accessed, you are pretty much done for. Connected site or anything else becomes irrelevant. However, no one can gain access just because you have wallet connected to some site.

I have something to cliché to say, whatever is bound by time must die (sooner or later). Anyhow, these threads are seen in every market cycle, Bitcoin and crypto will do fine until proper replacement arrives.

This once again proves that altcoins have no bottom and can fall very, very deeply, almost indefinitely, bypassing all kinds of analytical charts, technical analysis and indicators. Altcoins and borrowed funds are a terrible cocktail, which is a prohibitive risk and leads almost always to the same sad outcome - liquidation.
Did you misread? They did shorted but pumps in-between fucked it up. The system shorted LUNC but got liquidated during the token’s bizarre price pumps along the way
