https://blog.bitmex.com/the-schnorr-signature-taproot-softfork-proposal/Abstract: We summarise and provide context for a recent Bitcoin softfork upgrade proposal, which includes a new digital signature scheme (Schnorr), as well as a complementary upgrade called Taproot, which adds new capabilities that extend Bitcoin’s smart contracting capability. The upgrades are structured to ensure that they simultaneously improve both scalability and privacy. Other than increased complexity, there are no significant downsides to the proposal, and the most controversial aspect of it is likely to be the lack of other anticipated features. We conclude that although many will be enthusiastic about the upgrade and keen to see it rolled out, patience will be important. Nice expo. Other more regulated exchanges' opinions may vary.

in bitcoinland there are people that are just one check away of the smart phone screen from either financial ruin or best deal ever. somewhat reminiscent of the good old schrödinger´s box of quantum physics. as long as you haven´t checked the charts you are rich and broke at the same time. and if one's dull enough to have coins on an exchange, for example Bi-#notsosafu-nance, he suffers a double mystery pussycat quandary. as long as you haven´t checked the charts you are rich and broke at the same time as long as you haven't tried to withdraw, you are rich and broke at the same time then of course if you're a bit noob and download electrum updates from whoknowswhere to hodl you coins, are you rich or poor?

GRIN received a 50 BTC donatation from a super very early BTC adopter. (address : 18FufdutXggR2EgBuu6xRvL15kmpaPzfTQ ) The Solo miner sent unspent coins to the GRIN address. The coins were mined on 25th November 2010 I'm no expert but it shows that the people that believed the very first in BTC also believe in GRIN snip

Is there a Dutch word for 'fuckery'?
A somewhat old-fashioned one: verlakkerij. Translates roughly as deceit, betrayal, getting led to a trap. You'll love the etymology though: verlakken was the practice of painting silver coins with shellac to make them appear like gold. I do love it. 'To take a shellacking' is nowadays very popular on the street here: 'Barcelona took a shellacking today, losing 4-0 to Liverpool in the semi-final'. A drubbing, sound beating. Seems to have lost the manipulative sense of fuckery and verlakkerij in the vernacular, although it remains in that historical sense.
