3401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IBC] IronBankCoin - Blocktech Hosted Network|7-DAY PRE-SALE|BlockchainApp on: August 16, 2014, 03:16:32 PM
Warning, this coin is highly likely a scam. "Developer" made cheap scrypt clone and attached some story to it then contacted pump and dump company to back him up. There is
nothing to show here, not even a handdrawing of supposed game and no one from blocktech actualy posted here to confirm some deal was made and software or even a draft of
a game actualy exist.

You should be highly skeptical when no ones (unknown people) start asking for massive amounts of money in advance for vapourware, in over 95% of past cases it was a scam.
Oh really? I beg to differ: https://twitter.com/BryceWeiner/status/498214246099218432 bryce weiner is a highly affiliated with BlockTech.

Once he posts on this thread and provides something of a substance I might change my opinion, until then I think this coin is highly likely a vapourware and thus a scam. Nothing
will be delivered, there will be no game or anything else claimed in starting post.

Criterias for a red flag are as follows:

1. Newbie account.
2. Promises something no one ever made.
3. Asks for a lot of money to supposedly start working on 2.
4. Is in a hurry, like 7 days presale or 7 days mining.
5. Provides no proof for anything, just promises, promises and more promises.

All 5 criterias are fulfilled here - a major red flag!

I guess you don't know that coinweaver is Bryce's account here. He's already confirmed in this thread that Blocktech is supporting this coin.

That is him? Good thing is I already gave him negative trust for PetroDollar scamcoin (super bullshit stories there, coin is going nowhere) so I don't have to check his account again.
So, let me update the case here - blocktech is a parasytic company created to deliberately take BTC from cryptocoiners in exchange for bullshits of all sorts which include but are
not limited to crap and cloned coins, pump and dump schemes via promising something big but then delivering nothing and so on. They are selling you vapourware and stuff of no
real value for your BTC.

Bryce confirmed the Blocktech partnership, that's enough for me. This has to be one of the less worrisome coin of the last couple months.

A partnership between an unknown guy and a company that worked with (whatever that is supposed to mean) craps, clones and pump and dump coins brings confidence, right.

Yeah, post a buy order for XCR at 1 satoshi just to satisfy subHUMAN

For you and alikes I am Master of The Universe. You are morons who came to cryptoland from gold, silver and other rigged markets and think you know enough to give out advices.
The truth is you have no experience with free markets. Most stuff you posted on this thread do not work with cryptos. Expensive lessions awaits you here, enjoy.

BTW, NXT is dropping in price.  I wonder where the BTC is being spent?

Certainly not in vapourware like XCR.

If this "hack" came as a surprise to you then you are the NooB here

The point is some people are underselling there XCR in exchange for BTC thinking that BTER may pull a bankrun. Others are holding because they do not want to risk selling and not being able to get back in if things turn out favorably.

My point is that it makes no sense to "holding because they do not want to risk selling and not being able to get back in if things turn out favorably" in the situation when "some
people are underselling there XCR in exchange for BTC thinking that BTER may pull a bankrun" and not have buy orders placed as low as 1 Satoshi. If you think XCR is not worth
buying at 1 Satoshi or 10 Satoshi - which is what you prove by not having buy orders at those prices right now - you should sell all XCR you have.

there are buy orders all the way down to a 500,000 order at 200 satoshi.

You are not listening. There are 100M XCR right there at Bter but people are buying less than 10M, maybe even less than 5M. Unless there is at least 100M in buy orders it means
a massive dump which would fill all existing buy orders - it can happen - would leave many with XCR which they can not sell, at all. It also means that those same people missed a
chance to buy a shitload of XCR for as low as 1 Satoshi. Put differently, if you are holding XCR but do not have buy orders even down at 1 Satoshi you are a proof XCR is not worth
even 1 Satoshi - so why the hell you are still holding it?

3. Gamblers just hold. If you do not have any more BTC to put up buy orders that means you are gambler, period.

I disagree.  If you do not have any more BTC to put up to buy orders that means you are FULLY INVESTED.

Investors hold for the long term, Gamblers buy and sell as the price goes up and down.

subSTRADA was talking about traders... not investors. They are different!

Problem is that you noobs think investor is someone who buys and holds no matter what which is not true.

There are no buy orders because people are uncertain regarding the future of BTER and do not want to hold any equity on the exchange.

So why they are holding XCR?

Because they can't take it from the exchange yet? If it was released, I'm sure many would move it from Bter as soon as possible.

They are holding XCR because they are gamblers, not traders. Situation is as follows:

1. Most traders would either withdraw all coins from Bter or sell them for coins they can withdraw (BTC).
2. Traders who like huge risk would hold and bet on panic sale which means putting up buy orders very low, at 1 - 50 Satoshi, for up to 100 millions XCR.
3. Gamblers just hold. If you do not have any more BTC to put up buy orders that means you are gambler, period.

Have they said if user data has been compromised everyone should change passwords

If you must be told to change password after a hack that means you are idiot.

The main issue for XCR now seems to be lack of buy orders. 100% coins (tokens) are there on Bter but not even 10% could be sold even if all buy orders end up filled. There is not
much confidence when it comes to XCR, obviously.

Are you trolling or just trying to get in cheaper? You do understand the present circumstance regarding BTER do you not?

You have 100% of something but you can sell no more than 10% - not a problem? You are as stupid as people keeping money in banks and going mad once bankrun happens
and they lose everything. They were stupid and slow but just like most of you here it is not them (you) who would be guilty - it was bank fault, it would be Cryptsi team, Bter
and mine fault ("Look, there is subSTRATA, he started a bankrun! Kill him!"), right?

Mindless horde.

3415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: August 15, 2014, 06:41:36 PM
Can someone tell me the best exchange for the trading of NXT?

bter has the most volume for nxt

Bter by far! If you need a sign up code to get 10% trade discount, write me a PM!

Right, keep on trading at and promoting Bter then pay 0.5 percent for withdrawals. It would be stupid to expect NXT community to know better. Out of all choices you people
seems to be always picking the worst ones - worst exchange, worst asset and when DGS comes up I can bet you will be buying the worst shit there. What a waste of good coin.

So, where do you trade?

Polo = no volume
Dgex = potential 3 weeks waiting for wirhtdrawal and more fees
Crypts = upto 1 week for deposits and upto 2 weeks for deposits.

Well, I love paying 0.5 % for avoiding all that. And yes, I still hate the 0.5% fee, but I don't make the rules.

Bter, the first and foremost important market for NXT, and the first exchange that traded NXT for fiat (CNY)

And who creates trade volume, Bter maybe? It is created by you, mindless idiots. Of course that Poloniex and Cryptsy (withdrawals and deposits on both exchanges work well)
will not go better unless you start selling and buying there and the same is also true for https://hitbtc.com where you can trade with fucking 0% fee and withdraw for 1 NXT flat.

Yeah, but most of the time you need to trade in a specific timeframe, and then you just can't wait for liquidity.

Bter has that liquidity.

Back in the 2012. and 2013. I was hearing the same argument for MtGox, mindless idiots were dismissing any and all warnings and then they lost all their coins. Some of them lost
everything. I'm not saying Bter is on the exact same path but since they need to rip off customers via trade fees, withdrawal fees or both for as much as 2% (check the bottom of
the fee list at https://bter.com/fee it is a shocker) you should think about their solvency a bit more.

it is not that I don't understand you. I am just saying that is a chicken-egg problem and I won't start trying to fix it by trading on a illiquid exchange. The market might move themself if it feels it is worth it.

So you are trading on just 1 exchange and highly likely have all your non-staking coins on that same 1 exchange? A recipe for dissaster - but you can't really tell before it happens
just like those who ended up Goxed or - to move to NXT waters - those who invested in certain assets openly attacked by few of us who still have a sense for scams and dangers.

Wisdom to the wise, as always. And no, you are not wise.

Bump!  Grin
3416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Phoenixcoin v0.6.6.0 ~ NeoScrypt on: August 15, 2014, 03:56:41 PM
PXC deposits and withdrawals at Cryptsy are not possible, their wallet was offline last time I checked and now I can't even login there anymore.  Undecided

Cryptsy is back online with PXC on the NeoScrypt chain.

Yes but "Error while generating new (PXC deposit) address" and BTC withdrawal is not working.

Like dramas with cryptos in general, with NXT, Bter and consequently XCR is not enough - what a day!  Undecided

NXT must be "killed" because initial distribution was wrong. Incompetent luckers made millions and then stopped redistributing coins - time to drop NXT price so other people can
join for cheaper else NXT community and NXT itself are doomed. It makes no difference how good some coin is, if community consists of only a few whales and dozens of cheap
bitches licking whales' asses than coin is going nowhere. Sure they can manipulate trades and trade volume to have top 4 marketcap but marketcap is irrelevant in bigger picture.

It will be the same for Crypti but cost a little more. I can buy almost a million Crypti which is 1% and I'm not rich by any means. It seems that no matter where you go there will always be whales that collect, hold and dump some time later.

Whales are not the problem, stupid people are. People like ones who got lucky (bought millions of NXT at few Satoshi) and then just do nothing - no contribution to coin at all.
If you look at NXT forums you will see how few people there are actualy doing something - and not all those people are majority stakeholders, some might have a few thousands
NXT at best.
3419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypti | XCR | Launch August | 100% POS | New Source | Trading has begun! on: August 15, 2014, 02:43:19 PM
I belive if they make it right Bter will survive... There was atacks on Poloniex and other exchanges but they survived them...

Few hundreds BTC stolen or around 3,500 BTC stolen is quite a big difference.

hope BTER just defaults on the NXT and pays out all amount owing before closing.

Why are people still keeping coins on the exchanges?  Its like no one ever learns from the past?  A broken record keeps skipping and playing the same verse over and over again.  Obviously we couldn't remove our Crypti so not pointing fingers at any of us, but the NXTers should know Bter.  I'm a big NXT fan and now wasn't the time to be selling anyway, do feel bad for their losses but hopefully they won't leave crypto on an exchange.  Everyone has to realize that 24/7 someone is trying to steal coins off the exchange you have your coins at right now.  Its a guarantee.

Problem is Bter, they were too greedy and instead of keeping majority of NXT in offline (cold) wallet they opted for online wallet so they can make dimes by forging NXT blocks.

Make few USD per day for a while and then lose everything, very smart move, not!
3420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypti | XCR | Launch August | 100% POS | New Source | Trading has begun! on: August 15, 2014, 02:28:26 PM
Install and run NXT wallet which rollbacks hacker's account and transaction only, like it never happened. That, or risk losing everything you had at Bter. Sure NXT might drop in
price so what? It became overpriced too fast anyway, making dozens of morons super rich and super greedy.
