The Heat pulled it off without Giannis to anchor the Bucks. It cost them big though. Jimmy Butler and Victor Oladipo both sustained hard injuries and we’ll have to see what the results are from those going forward. I still think the Bucks will win this series.

Now for the Lakers and Grizzlies. LeBron vs Brooks. Lol

Looks like Giannis isn’t going to play today in the Bucks game vs the Heat here in an hour. This is a good opportunity for the Miami Heat to take control of the series. I think it’s a good move by the Bucks to rest him though. They need him healthy and I’m sure they can afford to trade a win for a healthy superstar going forward.

Russell Westbrook is going off right now. He’s making three-pointers he’s scoring in the lane and he’s keeping the clippers in this game. I can’t recall ever seeing him make so many shots without a miss… It’s like he’s a completely different player then when he was on the Lakers. I love to see it. The Suns will probably still win, but Westbrook’s performance has been nothing short of amazing.

Early game about to kick off between the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers. If you’re a Nets fan you had better tune in because it is highly likely that this is going to be their last game of the year. Even if Embiid doesn’t play I still think the 76ers win, but with their backs to the wall and playing a team without their MVP, this is their best chance to steal a game.
3425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 22, 2023, 04:27:32 AM
That Timberwolves vs Nuggets game was a good one. The Timberwolves gave it all they had and nearly pulled it off but the efficiency of the Nuggets was just too much for them to overcome. The Timberwolves have a great roster but just can’t seem to win games. Now that they’re down 0-3 it’s basically already over. A bad end to a good season. Their last 6 games or so lead to them falling apart.

I am not a content creator on YouTube or other social media, but the steps taken by Elon Musk are brilliant steps and he understands very well that in the business world if you want to compete with platforms that are already stable, you must provide something different and that difference must be a big and real difference can be felt by people so that in the end they will move or at least use both platforms simultaneously because they can increase their income by using two social media in their creations. It can be seen that paid Twitter users are benefiting even though in business the winner is actually himself.

I went ahead and got my blue check. $7 a month (order via website & pay for a year) to the man who restored freedom of speech and outed the government’s interference seems like a small price to pay. Throw in that he’s going to make mankind a multi-planetary species and I can honestly say this is the only subscription service I’ve ever paid for that I didn’t need.
3427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 22, 2023, 01:34:25 AM
The Celtics are the only team I’d feel comfortable betting on to win tonight.

Figures. The Hawks played a hell of a game and while they almost blew it down the stretch, they managed to hold on and get the win. This was them fighting for their season. If they went down 0-3 it would have been as good as over. Glad to see them get a game at home and not get swept, but I think this is the only win they’re gonna get.
3428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 21, 2023, 08:35:21 PM
It's been awhile I try daily to make profit

Stake casino mostly mines

But it take back profit.. I have 2k balance.. is there method

To get 100 $ per day

I think it would be insane to try and make a certain amount of money every day gambling.  Sure, there's a method to doing it.  Get extremely lucky every single day for the rest of your life.  Does that really seem like a good plan though?  At some point you'll lose, and then what?  Rather than gambling to try and make money, why not start investing?

In a savings account with current market rates you can make around that much just from having a million dollars sitting there.  I'd urge you to start investing, don't trade, invest.  Buy something like the S&P 500 and grow your funds through hard work.  At some point $100 a day in dividends or interest will be obtained and it won't take you as long as you think.  Maybe 10 years if you go hard, or 20 if you do it passively.  That's why it's important to start young.  Think of how that would change the rest of your life.  It's worth doing, not gambling on.

Can you elaborate on why you stated LoyceV has past support for documented extortionists and trust abusers or at least provide some links to threads detailing the allegations or incidents?

Sure.  LoyceV is a piece of shit who uses the trust network to try and punish people he doesn't agree with.  He spreads lies about what I do, twists the truth to make it seem like my good deeds are bad, and in spite of years worth of evidence that Vod was abusing the trust network and attempting to extort me, he still continued to include Vod in the DT network and probably does still to this day (I don't care enough to even check, but LoyceV wouldn't be a total piece of shit if he corrected this behavior, so I assume he hasn't).

There is a thread with dozens of pages outlining some of Vod's bad deeds that were overlooked by LoyceV, suchmoon, and their little band of trust network abusers that have made a mockery of DT but rather than have you waste your time sifting through years of trolling, this post below outlines the type of behavior that some of our "trusted" DT members support.  Sort of makes sense why they all advertise for money laundering mixers that have to be shut down by the US Government and their signature campaign crew distrusts me for sounding the alarm even though I was 100% correct, they were 100% wrong, and now this forum no longer allows it's staff to engage in this advertising behavior.  We have a Default Trust network now that punishes people for warning about illegal behavior and rewards those who do nothing but troll the people who are doing real things on this forum.  I'm sure that's what satoshi envisioned for this place...  People like LoyceV are the reason why literally 99.9%  of the talent has fled these boards.  Want to give him a free factoid?  Fuck him.  Have him pay the cost for once instead of milking this forum while supporting extortionists and money laundering operations that have turned this place into a shell of it's former existence.

Vod's latest extortion attempt:

3430  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have Ignore option on topics, not boards, not users? on: April 21, 2023, 08:05:55 PM
I'm all for being heavy on the ignore button when it comes to this forum.  It's necessary if you are anyone working on anything that has any effect here as the trolls are like packs of hyenas with missing teeth.  However, I personally would worry about a tool like this being a little heavy handed on the ignoring, leading to missing topics that you might actually care about just because some buzzwords were thrown around in the discussion.  It seems like to be done right it would have to be a bit complicated, and with a new forum a decade into development, I'm not sure we should be trying to reinvent the wheel here.
3431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin price control by human agents or electronic technology? on: April 21, 2023, 08:02:14 PM
My opinion is that the daily movement of price is controlled by traders.  They digest the news and then try to trade it daily as if Bitcoin was sensitive to whatever was going on in the news.  Ironically, these traders are the ones that move the price based on this news.  Zoom out a little though and it becomes clear that Bitcoin's halvings scheduled every 4 years dominate control of the price.  Traders get to decide the little daily movements, but every 4 years we see a massive jump, not because traders or news has had an effect, but because of the way Bitcoin is coded to reward miners with block rewards.
3432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 21, 2023, 07:59:40 PM
Warriors definitely plays better at home and this was known before the series, they had such a big difference between home and away games all season long so this series and any series Warriors are on, would be sort of like the regular season. I definitely expect them to win the fourth game too if nothing goes wrong.

I agree with you.  I think the Warriors will be able to beat the Kings in San Francisco.  For whatever reason the Warriors are just terrible on the road.  Probably something they need to look into.  Something about their road routine isn't going right.  This is why playoff seeding is so important.  In order for the Warriors to move on to round 2, they're going to have to win one in Sacramento.  I'm not saying they can't do it, but the odds are against them.  If you're a Warriors fan, you're really hoping they can find a way to steal a game in Sacramento and push this series out to where they'll have the advantage at home.
3433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction from $30K: Reason to worry? on: April 21, 2023, 07:56:24 PM
If you are worried about the market erasing a week of gains then it is very clear that you have far too much money invested in Bitcoin.  If this applies to you, you're looking at the daily data way too much and you're going to miss the forest for the trees.  Bitcoin should be viewed in 4 year increments, not weekly increments.  You want to buy the bottom every four years, and then sell the tops.  You don't have to trade yourself to riches along the way, you just need to keep buying and holding.  Once you change your mindset and have some faith, you realize that it is that simple.  Traders mostly miss the peaks by selling for little gains or flat out lose their money on bad trades.  If you believe in BTC, you don't need to trade it.  You need to stack it.
3434  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is a senile, old Bitch on: April 21, 2023, 07:50:20 PM
The Biden administration is now punishing people with higher credit scores by making them pay a penalty so that lower credit score individuals can have their mortgages subsidized.  This is absolute lunacy.  We've now reached the point where you get rewarded for destroying your credit and punished for paying your bills.  Congratulations you liberal idiots, you've successfully incentivized dumb financial behavior.  I'm sure this will end well...  Imagine getting ready to buy a home, but you have to stop paying your bills first and ruin your credit so you can get the best deal.  It's like they aren't even hiding their sabotage anymore, but idiots still don't realize what's happening.
3435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: April 21, 2023, 07:34:58 PM
I take part in lotteries but I usually do not make a lot of hope to win a lottery. Participating n the lottery is the easiest thing but getting a win out of it may be the most difficult thing. By the way, its fun participating in online lotteries.

Of course, if you take part in a lottery, you would track its progress and the result. Although i do not think that i am too lucky to win a lottery but still I keep looking for the results and see if any day i would win something big.

What if, I get a chance to participate in a lottery without any investment?
If any gambling site offers, free of cost entry in the lottery, i would definitely not miss that one. Smiley

I get automatically entered into Stake's weekly lotteries sometimes but I can't say I ever follow it or care.  I don't expect I'll ever win, but if I did it would be cool.  I'm not even sure how that would work legally to be honest.  Typically with certain types of gambling Americans have to take trips to Mexico (a quick trip for myself) but in the case of a weekly lottery I'm not sure how that would even work or if I'm allowed to be involved unless I'm in Mexico at the time.  Consider that I don't go to Mexico every week or that I don't know when exactly the lotteries are taking place, and I would likely view a win as more problematic than anything.

Philly won with a strong game. Harden was unfairly kicked out and didn't play in the last quarter, but Maxey still filled that gap by playing well. Embiid should have been kicked out in my opinion. The referees keep making weird decisions. I think this series was over when it was 2-0, now it's 3-0 and the Nets have no chance. I said they played with weak opponents after the 2nd game, there were those who said that the Nets were too strong here, but we saw who was right.

Just show the depth of Philly again, no Harden and yet the Nets wasn't able to exploit that. I mean they are in the good lead even in the last minute of the game. But for some strange reasons, they can't score and then they didn't guard Maxey who took that 3 and that should be the dagger.

Dinwiddie try to drive and he was lucky that a call was made. But after that, Philly score easy and the Nets missed that shot.

I thought that they are going to take a win in this game as they are in control of the game and Joel Embiid is not moving great. Most likely he is suffering some injuries after this game.

Pretty amazing that Philly could win after that bizarre call on Harden.  Both sides were being unfairly refed though so at least is seemed fair in that regard.  Embiid got to show why he's an MVP candidate.  I think the Nets are done and probably shouldn't have been in the playoffs anyway with their roster.  It looks like the Clippers aren't far behind the Nets either.  With no Paul George and now it's looking like no Kawhi, I don't think they have a chance against the Suns.  Westbrook played as good as he could to keep them in the last game, but they're just outmatched.
3437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: April 21, 2023, 07:30:38 PM
We've all heard the saying a million times.  Don't gamble more than you can afford to lose.  If you're making a deposit to an online casino and thinking about how much money you're going to get back out, then chances are you're gambling too much money.  People should deposit funds onto casinos to have fun.  Consider it money that you just put into an arcade machine.  You get to play and when it is all over you take the fun with you.  If you did get lucky and manage to win some money, that's a nice bonus, but shouldn't be expected.  You're paying for entertainment, not to get free money back.
3438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: April 21, 2023, 07:28:04 PM
Reading another post, it crossed my mind that AIs and particularly ChatGPT could potentially be trained with a large samples of games played by poker champions and then put it to auto-play with amateur on-line players. If this is successful, it could mean the end of human on-line poker playing except perhaps for the world masters and the like. Has anyone tried? Would it be possible??

When all is said and done at the end of the day, you have to have the cards to win.  Sure, AI could probably play the percentages and win as much as one can, but it will never beat the odds or surprise people.  I even think after players get used to going against a computer (most probably already are as I'm sure they gamble against computers to practice all the time) will be able to easily predict the AI's moves so that they are never surprised.  It wouldn't surprise me if the inability to surprise leads to AI actually performing worse...  Who knows though.  This is the sort of thing that will be interesting to watch play out.
3439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 21, 2023, 07:24:58 PM
Looking at the chart it seems like we appear to be at the bottom of the recent trading range.  That gives me the feeling that we're about done dropping for now.  Could we fall further still?  Sure.  Anything is possible.  However, I'd feel OK buying here, especially as part of a dollar cost averaging plan and I think we'll soon be making another run for $30K.  Bitcoin seems to be a little spooked by the calls for a coming recession growing louder.  I don't see any specific reason why we would drop further from here though.  Just traders doing what traders do.
3440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 21, 2023, 03:52:49 PM
The Celtics are the only team I’d feel comfortable betting on to win tonight. The other games will likely be pretty close. I had hoped Minnesota would make their series with Denver a little more competitive so maybe they’ll be able to win tonight and make that a series. The Cavs and Knicks are having a good series but I just don’t really care about either team.
