3421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: March 20, 2020, 10:35:24 PM
- Eat or Drink
When you gamble, you are not strongly advised to eat or drink because you will most likely not finish the food or drink, you will most likely throw away your food or drink when you lose money at the gambling table...

- Smoking marijuana, Getting drunk or under the influence of drugs
You certainly will not be aware of what decisions you make if you are drunk, if you are drunk while gambling, it is certain that your money will be lost...

- Teasing other people's wives
come on, you go to the casino, is it to tempt someone else's wife, if this is your goal then you must be very prepared to kill by that woman's husband...

- Borrow someone else's vehicle
some criminal cases occur because someone pawns another person's vehicle for gambling. don't try to do this, you will only go to jail...

- Carrying firearms or sharp weapons
come on man, do you want to kill someone, or do you want to frighten the bookie...

- last, Playing at one table with Corona patients fleeing Quarantine
You should not do this, mate. this is of no use, even if you win, you will only bring the coronavirus and spread it to people around even your family...  Cheesy

*don't take this too seriously  Grin
Please tell me you are actually joking. The note written beside * isn't convincing enough.
I don't know where you live and what kind of casino exist over there, but kinda sounds like you live on a really messed up location and the place is really dangerous.
Whatever you mentioned over there are punishable offence. You would probably get kicked out from the casino as soon as they suspect or annoyed by your behaviour.
3422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some casino gambling tips. on: March 20, 2020, 10:32:06 PM
I do not recommend you guys to play casino gambling as of this current situation on which COVID-19 is still spreading around the world, but if the virus passed away you may use this tips if you are going to play in casino gambling.

1. Limit your budget - If you are already in the casino gambling, it will be hard for you to control yourself from betting, so the best thing that you must do is to limit your budget before going to casino gambling.
2. Be comfortable on the place - you don't need to get panic while playing, being panic because if thinking that authorities may enter the casino and will arrest you. That is impossible because some casino buildings are legal and have legal paper. So do not panic because it will affect you while playing.
3. Know what games you should play - that is really important, you should play only on those game on which you know that you can win the game, actually, you should choose the game that requires skills and techniques to win.

Casino gambling more entertaining compared to online gambling because we can really feel the ambiance of the building and we can assure ourselves that we are playing on a legitimate games.

As far as I know all casinos (at least over here) has been closed in order to avoid the spread of the virus. But, you know, one can always gamble online. Things would be easier even more if they gambled with crypto currencies Wink.

1. You should always limit your budget. Keep the limit in such a way that if you lose all of it, it won't be a big problem to you.

2.I am not sure why one would be afraid and why authorities would arrest you for gambling. If its not legal, then don't gamble at all. You can gamble at crypto-games.net from your home without feeling uncomfortable.

3. All gambling games does not depend only on skills. It also depends on your luck!

3423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Itīs not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: March 19, 2020, 11:01:39 PM
Guys, how many times BTC faces a lot of problems, and thereīs always people saying: BTC is scam, BTC will reach zero, BTC is over, BTC is dead?

And every single time BTC rise and stay relevant

So itīs just a question of time, if you have money, buy BTC and wait, just wait
If you have BTC enough, just hold

We have been through MANY situations like this.
Why would that be the last?
So itīs just a question of TIME, soon or later we'll see green candles everywhere
Yeah, what you wrote over here is true. But, trust me. It is easy to say but hard to execute. Think about those new investors that have invested thousands of dollar on bitcoin and then all of a sudden they see their investment going down every hour. Obviously they are going to panic and try to save remaining of their investment by selling it. Now there are hundreds of such investors that starts panicking. I wouldn't blame them at all. They have never experienced such thing before, so it is quite normal for them to panic.
I would also suggest the same, take advantage of the dipping to maximize your profit!
3424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading increasing in Venezuela on: March 19, 2020, 10:58:11 PM
It is understandable because they closed down their banks to prevent the spread, they are making measures to prevent a total outbreak. Plus they are experiencing hyperinflation in their currency that is why they are dependent on dollars so it is the reason there is a surge in bitcoin trading.
So you are saying that just because the banks have closed down, the trade volume in Venezuela has increased? Care to explain why? Just because the banks have temporarily shutdown, people don't start trading crypto currencies. There might be some other reason. They probably are buying more crypto currencies to prepare themselves from the future economic crash and the current inflation (i think the government has bought that under control, though I am not sure).
Would be really interesting if Venezuela ends up making a crypto currency their official currency.
3425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Halving succeed with Currently Situation on: March 19, 2020, 10:40:14 PM
Bitcoin price drops almost more than 35% compared to the raise marked previous months, and it believed that bitcoin halving will raise the price, will it succeed as predicted before with current market and economic conditions.
The drop isn't permanent. Eventually the price will start to recover and rise back to where it was. On other hand, the halving will cause the supply of the new generated coins to go totally half. Thus the amount of new coins that will circulate around the market will be lesser compared to previous years. Thus, this will in turn cause the price to increase. Now, people will want to take advantage of this halving. The prices have already dropped and people will try to invest as much as they can to maximize their profit from the halving. Thus, the price will start to rise due to increased demand.
3426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are your safe haven now? on: March 19, 2020, 10:28:04 PM
Haven't heard of any of the coins (tokens) you have mentioned except for BAT. To be honest, I don't think you can consider any crypto currency as a save "haven". At least for now. The prices of crypto currencies are quite unpredictable. They rise and fall without any warnings. Look at the recent price drop that has caused lots of people to suffer (but you don't suffer unless you sell your coins). You can't guarantee that a certain won't fall in price and will keep rising. So there is no safe haven. Though, even you still want to choose one, I would say go for bitcoin. Its your safest bet.
3427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Corona virus (COVID19) Effect in Cryptocurrency Gambling on: March 19, 2020, 10:23:56 PM
With the recent outbreak of coronavirus (covid19) lot of sports game are being cancelled/postponed especially the NBA
While, there are also lot of people from different country that starting to lock down and stay at home for home quarantine.
So,
Decrease of sports games.
Increase of people that will stay at home (probably no work/less work to do, e.g  work from home/totally no work)

So what do you think the effect of it?
Can we experience a high volume on every cryptocurrency gambling website?
Since major payments are cryptos, so need to go to any bank anymore, in short more on online transactions.
Yeah, most of the sport games are being postponed, starting from NBA to soccer games. This is because of the corona virus. Thus, people can no longer place bets on these games using fiat or crypto currencies. Again, most of the countries have placed man on mass gathering or crowding around. Thus bars, restaurants, schools and even casinos are now temporarily shut downed. Now, if people still wants to continue gambling, they can use crypto casinos. They don't have to deal with the banks, nor they have to go through several complexities for online gambling.
So I guess, yeah, it has increased the volume of bet placed on crypto casinos.
3428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: March 19, 2020, 09:53:57 PM
Be careful of the influencers you follow on social media like twitter. There was one who was exposed recently of photoshopping his trades to fool his followers and get more subscribers to his paid group. He said he did that to make the images look better hehe. Please follow this thread https://twitter.com/Trapouts/status/1238598898559488000

Cointelegraph also covered the story https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-analyst-accused-of-photoshopping-trade-screenshots.

There will always be scammers who will take advantage of people's ignorance. Let's prevent that from happening to us by learning how to read charts on our own and not solely rely on free and paid signals from random people on the internet.
Yeah, most of those so called "professional crypto analysts" are just total frauds. Trust me, I have seen a lot of people who claim that they are crypto analyst that can help people "make money", but in real life they are just some random kid giving out random suggestions. Sometimes they get lucky. When they get lucky, they tried to lure people to pay him for further "analysis". All of them are just pure scammers. Again, there are also some "analyst" that are biased towards coins they have invested. There are also people that get paid to shill for projects and they actually do it.
That "hehe" part you wrote sounds werid.
3429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Corona drop over or will it continue? on: March 18, 2020, 10:32:31 PM
No one knows when the price "dropping" will be over. If everyone knew when it would stop, they would be rich by now, since they would know the exact time to buy and max out on the profit. But it kinda looks like the Bitcoin price has stabled a bit and managed to keep the price above $5,000 USD. But we can't be sure if the drop is yet over. As long as the situation of the world isn't solved and stabilized, the price of crypto currency is going to be extremely volatile.
3430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is it , it's the end of cryptos on: March 18, 2020, 10:29:39 PM
Lol, so you are just trying to make people panic? You want them to sell panic sell all their coins, right?
Just because the price is dropping does not mean that it is the end of the cryptocurrencies. We have seen the price falling like this number of times, but never did the crypto currency end up dying. Instead they came back and recovered stronger. The same is going to happen this time too. Just wait for everything to stabilize in the world and then we will see the swift recovery of the price.
3431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: March 18, 2020, 10:25:57 PM
People should know and be made aware of this exact thing. Just because you want things to be simple (set an email and password to open a wallet), you are putting your whole financial aspects on the risk. Remember, it is your coins as long as only you hold the private key. If the private key is shared with someone else, you can't be called the sole owner. On other hand, if you don't even have access to the keys, then you have no right over the coins stored in that wallet.
Those wallets where you don't have access to your private keys are extremely risky to use!
3432  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 17, 2020, 09:26:10 PM
I ask this because of the corona virus where people are too scared to hold money.

The issue is that we value btc against the usd and other fiat currencies. If fiat currencies were no longer how would bitcoin be valued...inflation etc? Can't get my head around how it would work.
Its going to be compared the same way we compare things when buying using fiat currency. Like people are going to eventually set a price using bitcoin as relative unit. Its like you buy a cup of coffee from starbucks  for few dollars but now you will be buying it for few satoshies where the the amount will be define eventually by the people.
But the real question, is bitcoin ready to be used as a global currency replacing fiat?
3433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CS:GO and Betting on: March 17, 2020, 09:21:11 PM
I am sure you guys are aware that most of the tournaments are now being played Online. Many of the noted teams like NaVi, Cloud9 and Tier2 teams play bad Online as compared to their actual LAN performance. Do you think this will cause any ups-downs in the actual result of the matches? Also, I wonder how will Astralis play Online as I am not sure if i have seen any of their match being played Online before in 2019-20.
Damn. It has been more than 5 years since I last played counter strike. Didn't valve but a ban on all kind of betting related to csgo? I remember receiving an email from one of the sites where they said that users items were stuck because valve but a mass ban on all of their betting trade bot account. Even I remember reading somewhere that cases were also being a problem since it was some sort of gambling.
Well, there is nothing much to do. They will have to face the disadvantage of playing bad online instead of LAN.
3434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: March 17, 2020, 09:13:25 PM
Yeah, you are right. Bitcoin does have value because it is scarce and has utility. But, you forgot the main thing. Demand. Bitcoin and other crypto currencies have demand for which they also have a value. As long as there is a demand for bitcoin, there will be a price. With the demand rising the price also starts to rise. But, as the demand falls and goes to zero, the price will also eventually fall and then become valueless even though if it is scarce and has utility. Look at those coins that have failed. They now worth almost nothing since they don't have any demand.
3435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: March 17, 2020, 09:02:03 PM
Well, I guess it is going to be really bad. Look at what has happened right now due this COVID-19 pandemic. The stock market, oil price and almost everything starting to crash really badly. The economic value of the country is falling really hard. Crypto currencies were also unfortunately affected by this. The price has fallen really bad in the past few weeks. Now imagine what would happen when a global recession is taking place? But yeah, you never know where crypto currencies are heading. They are quite unpredictable. We might be seeing bitcoin rising during recession.
3436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: March 14, 2020, 03:49:26 PM
There is no "right" time to come out of addiction. Each and every moment is actually the right time to recover your self for "any" kind of addiction. I know what you are trying to say is that people can use this opportunity to get rid of gambling addiction, but no, this does not work in this way. Those who are addicted to gambling will eventually find out an alternative way to place bets with their money. They might temporarily stop sports book gambling, but might join something similar.
If a person thinks he is addicted to gambling, then he should seek professional help, instead of looking for excuses or a certain "period of time" to stop gambing.
3437  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: March 14, 2020, 03:39:30 PM
I've contacted a few friends who hold like me. They're all very concerned by the huge drop, but none has sold a single BTC.
We're all holders.
I know it's huge, but I believe the sharp fall in BTC's price has been caused by a very small number of individuals.
Waiting for data...
I don't really think this drop has been caused by a small "individuals" or "whales" like you are assuming. A domino affect has just taken place. When people holding their bitcoin started to see the price of the coin fall a little bit, they started to panic thinking that the price will fall even further more like the stock market. Thus, when the price started to fall, more people started to sell causing even further drop and panic among the holders. This small amount of selling together caused a huge impact on the market.
Don't worry, this isn't going to be a permanent thing. People will start taking advantage of the drop and start investing as much as they can causing the price rise back to where it was.
3438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus is ravaging a large portion of cryptocurrencies. Is this permanent? on: March 14, 2020, 03:32:23 PM
As you all may know, Corona is heavily affecting the crypto market, however, do you believe that this is permanent, or will the effects be seen for the next 3, 6, 12 or 18 months?
It has been assumed that this corona virus has caused a huge impact not only on bitcoin but also on the prices of the stock market, raw goods, oil and each and every financial sectors.
Why would you think this is going to be permanent? Nothing is permanent. This situation is totally normal. As things starts to stabilize, the price will also start to rise. Better use this opportunity and invest as much as you can to maximize your profit in the future.
3439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone pay for slandering gambling websites on Bitcointalk? on: March 14, 2020, 03:29:11 PM
In several threads in the gambling section, I noticed "Newbie" accounts that try to slander the name of the gambling website in any possible way.
Some often sounds very trustworthy - they certainly have experience.
Do you also think that competitors pays for slandering?
We can't completely deny the fact that competitors does pay other users to try and destroy the reputation of a casino. That is why sometimes you will see a newbie user making a fake account and accusing the casino for scamming them without any strong proof.
Again, there are users that get really triggered or mad because they lost a good amount of coins on a casino. Thus, they end up making multiple fake accounts and start accusing the casino of scamming them. They even make fake reviews everywhere.
3440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the terms you decide on which casino to play? on: March 14, 2020, 03:25:55 PM
Reputation actually matters when selecting a casino to play on. It would be really stupid to make huge deposit on a casino that is almost new to the market. There would be a chance that the casino might end up scamming the user. Again, why would someone play on a casino that has a bad reputation? You don't want to risk your money even more playing on a casino that people hates.
Also people mainly wants to play on a casino that has a good community and and active support system along with a user friendly UI.
