3421  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that Jack Dorsey (twitter CEO) is an enemy of the human race? on: April 17, 2018, 04:46:48 AM
Hello I would like to delete the topic, I don't think that this shit deserve even a post here. it's insulting to theymos and satoshi. how can I do it? do I have to report it?
Move it to archive. Should be at the bottom (left?) of the thread page.
3422  Other / Meta / Re: Who is able and willing to moderate the Politics & Society section? on: April 17, 2018, 03:06:35 AM
On the alt again?

You were inactive for more than 15 days just like Flying Hellfish, he logged in after master theymos posted this topic. you applied for the signature campaign. you are hungry as well.
Not posting ≠ inactive!

Reason for not having you as a mod: you could disappear for weeks and have no way of communication. while I could login with my phone.
See above—just because they weren't posting doesn't mean they weren't reporting.

You are also asking if this post has any recurring payment, you should know that people usually wouldn't ask you to do something as difficult as moderating a section with thousands of garbage posts for free.
Are you sure? I mean, a lot of forums have volunteer moderators. This one included.

you also didn't offer anything to compete with other applicants. maybe you thought that you are better or they don't have any chance?
Why are you taking this so seriously? Jesus.
3423  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | 0.00075 BTC/post on: April 17, 2018, 02:44:59 AM
I understand what you mean when you say that the threads have too many replies but im not rehashing what anyone says.  I always give my own opinion/answer and although someone may have said something similar, it doesnt mean im reading what theyr saying and just rephrasing it.
If someone has said something similar, what is the point of repeating it in a different way? It seems odd to want to add to a discussion by being redundant.

Moreover, are you sure that the total content of those 100 posts does not already cover what you have stated? I am almost certain the answer is "no". Furthermore, you can expect that your responses will not be examined: who is going to seriously stumble into a multi-paged thread about some general garbage and start a discussion with you?
After looking at your posts, they are very general. Even if they're not one-liners, they may as well be.
3424  Other / Meta / Re: Who is able and willing to moderate the Politics & Society section? on: April 17, 2018, 02:37:52 AM
he wants to create opportunities for even Millions of people to earn money and improve their lives. he is trying to make major changes by supporting Bitcoin.
Is that what the forum has been brought down to? A money-earning site? Makes it no better than a PTC programme.

he is also trying to motivate forum members to improve the quality of discussions. he wants to give people a chance for a better life.
The former is true. The latter is dubious and irrelevant.

People don't care, they don't get it. they would keep farming accounts and posting garbage. this is what they can do.
That's true. It's easy for them to farm accounts and lay waste to the forum.

when they see there is no justice, they would think
It's better to earn as much as they can before it's too late.
Account farmers would be around whether there's "justice" or not. I'm not sure what you're trying to say in regards to that, either.

all he has so far is power hungry people. garbage posters are posting garbage and people of authority are using their positions for their own benefits.
List examples of the power-hungry people. We already know there are spammers.
In this post you seem to do a lot of ass-kissing. Why? You're putting theymos on such a high pedestal. It's embarrassingly creepy.
3425  Other / Meta / Re: Posts getting vanished on: April 17, 2018, 02:31:24 AM
Same thing happen to me, it happens to me everynow and then. My post is always on the right section and i post something that is relevant to the topic. But my post still gets deleted.
I don't think that posting the 100+th reply and/or making general points that don't really add anything to the discussion (or lack thereof) is "relevant to the topic".

And keeping that in mind, posting in such useless threads designed for spam is detrimental to the forum. And those threads themselves are worthless, so they are deleted, along with your posts.

Here are some of your "relevant" posts.

It can if our financial institutions switch into blockchain technology and use digital money instead of fiat or paper money. So the banks can still gain income even without banks. And consumers doesn't get any hidden fees from purchasing something or no need to pay them annually.
The reason why it's risky, is not because of government or regulations but because of it's volatile nature it always fluctuate's but that makes bitcoin profitable than gold. Gold is stagnant that's why some gold investor got into crypto currency. Bitcoin will continue to survive as long as there are investors and people who supports it.
Just holding your 2 bitcoins is enough then wait for the price to rise, you dont need to invest it anywhere cause it's already invested. Just a piece of advice dont invest your money in cloud mining sites cause you will surely lose money on those ponzi scheme platforms. Just do trading if you dont like to wait for your investment to pump.
That would be a great innovation if ever facebook changes to blockchain technology instead wasting our time and being exploited by it. In sharing, liking and uploading personal data. We can actually gain from it through a reward like in bitcoin mining where users receives reward from mining block, facebook can also do the same when users likes a photo or comments or share files he gets rewarded and earn something.

You already posted this in another thread:

crime : Engaging in account sales.
reference : https://archive.is/Pp2PT

I did not know that it was a mistake
eger apologize for a crime please correct negatigf confidence

And I'll say the same thing: ignorance of the law acquits not.
3427  Other / Meta / Re: Posts getting vanished on: April 17, 2018, 01:54:08 AM
When a moderator trashes a thread you do not receive a notification for your deleted posts.
Try not to post in threads that are pointless. Smiley

Ignorance of the law acquits not. I personally equate it to buying trust/reputation since that's pretty much what you're doing by purchasing the account. Especially when it's for signature campaigns and trading.

3431  Other / Meta / Re: Merit for Deleted Posts on: April 16, 2018, 02:23:26 AM
Otherwise, it can be cut off.
It is fair - good posts were considered meritorious by people who didn’t have enough smerits. Therefore these posts were not merited.
But then imagine the following scenario:

Many people are rightfully given merit by someone whose post is later deleted. Then those people suddenly rank down. And in fact, what if someone had a highly merited post that was deleted? If that individual had given merit to many people, that's a lot of lost merit from the chain.

You have to consider all these edge cases. :/
3432  Economy / Reputation / Re: Requesting DT1 member to remove positive rep from abuser on: April 15, 2018, 10:39:42 PM
He probably remembered doing that would expose his entire alt ring and decided to just keep them to shitpost and scam
Or he probably had nothing and they were just empty threats. A lot of scammers feeling indignant will resort to such childish methods, which never improve their situation. If they—for once—logically thought it through, they would realize that it was pointless to even send such a threat.
Especially one that would not affect the intended parties.
3433  Other / Meta / Re: Merit for Deleted Posts on: April 15, 2018, 09:47:36 AM
if you delete your post, sender should be refunded. it means that you didn't want the merits, they could be used for others actually wanting those merits.
Great. And how exactly would this work, considering the one receiving the merit would also get sMerit? Or will you let them keep the sMerit? That would lead to a lot of merit farming.

Will you cut off the chain of merit being sent out? Then that wouldn't be fair to the ones who actually have good posts and were sent merit from the chain extending from the deleted post.
3434  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is just a bonus on: April 15, 2018, 09:45:11 AM
# I don't know what is merit?

# How does merit get?

# I want to know how to get merit?

# What are the benefits of merit?

If anyone knows please share here.
It would be wise to read one of the many threads about merit. Here is one such example, by hilariousandco: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0
And the merit system is good because it prevents large-scale account farming.
3435  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling my 50 btc wallet dat. file with lost password on: April 15, 2018, 01:44:11 AM
I would attempt to brute force the wallet, or if you had an idea of what the password might be, try iterations if it.  I would split 50/50 if successful.
You have any other proof, evidence, emailed receipts of purchase, documentation, something to prove it's legit?
OP is probably just trying to get a quick buck. Seeing as how they have been online recently but has restrained from posting any more and that they are choosing Telegram as a medium for communication, I would suspect that there is no .dat file.

And even if there is, like Forts pointed out, there's a contradiction between OP's statement (bought coins) vs. the fact that they were mined.
They probably just looked for some old and inactive rich wallets to try and pull a fast one. Don't waste your time. /thread
3436  Other / Meta / Re: Who is able and willing to moderate the Politics & Society section? on: April 15, 2018, 01:31:26 AM
Are you telling me that a mod should care what people are worshipping? I don't care. as long as they are not recruiting for ISIS. or inviting people to watch child pornography. or giving you the address of a girl and asking you to rape her and get paid money for it.
You don't care? Really? Is that true?

I wouldn't trust somebody if he/she has no fear of God. I know for a fact that administration and staff team of this forum don't like somebody talking about our saviour like that. (for the record, I do believe in Jesus, I do believe him to be alive and to be one of the God's prophets. I believe that he is the saviour of humanity like the grandson of the last prophet)
Doesn't seem like it.

If you don't believe in a supernatural God and the afterlife, it doesn't make you automatically untrustworthy, it makes you potentially untrustworthy.
You have some serious prejudices regarding what people are or aren't worshipping. That doesn't seem very objective to me.
3437  Other / Meta / Re: Merit for Deleted Posts on: April 14, 2018, 10:21:30 PM
Whether the thread be trashed or the post deleted, it simply means that the post does not contribute to a discussion. This may not be the case for all posts but should encompass most deleted posts.

No.

The OP can delete a post. Say I open up a topic to complain about someone here, every response I get says that I'm wrong and some of those posts get merited. Then, enraged by everyone's narrowmindedness, I delete the thread - it doesn't mean their posts weren't worth meriting. This means that someone could attack some people who post on threads. Also, who do these merits then go to? Do they go back to the sMerit spender or do they just disappear.
Then let us avoid that case. What, then, would you say about deleted posts and merit?

(I also hope that in self-moderated threads, there could be some section to actually check deleted posts. Either non-intrusive or a link off to the side. Maybe in the new forum coming in 3018?)
I think that for deleted posts, the merit should simply disappear. If we're avoiding the above case, then meriting a crappy post shouldn't result in a refund. Isn't that pretty prone to abuse?
3438  Other / Meta / Re: Who is able and willing to moderate the Politics & Society section? on: April 14, 2018, 10:09:27 PM
Angry pinoy. note about the level-headed. could you find the original post to read what it says after "I do believe in Jesus, I do"? that part edited out by level headed is the core of the lonely virgin's whole belief system. but it was censored, why?
Why are you now responding with an alt rather than your main account?

(for the record, I do believe in Jesus, I do believe him to be alive and to be one of the God's prophets. I believe that he is the saviour of humanity like the grandson of the last prophet)
I do fear God and ask forgiveness every day of my life. I'm 29 years old and a true virgin. lol if you want.  I do make mistakes and would try to fix them and improve myself. I have nothing to offer to this world, that is why I'm trying to make a difference.
Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

Go make a difference.
I would suggest if any of you are serious about this job. at least make prepare 20-30 different users and different posts [...]
Having over 200 good reports isn't being serious enough?

It's also senseless to ask for posts by high-ranked members. Spam is spam, regardless of the origin. You'll find plenty of spammers that have high activity/rank. Moreover, the act of seeking out high-rank spamposts is not a key part of a moderator's duties.

moving irrelevant topics. deleting off topic replies. I don't care if you worship the devil, just don't invite people to do the same by providing specific details such as posting links to websites asking people how and where to go and what to do in order to worship the devil.
That is against free speech and you are using biased opinions.

or you all want to get on with your lives, only having the perks of a moderator, not spending time dedicating your lives to your "job"? it's not even a job for you. how could you moderate hundreds of thousands of posts without spending time as a full job?
Delete, delete, delete.
3439  Economy / Reputation / Re: My negative trust still sticking on: April 14, 2018, 03:18:57 PM
Bump
Why do you think your negative trust should be removed when you yourself are also tagging users for selling/buying accounts? And then the same thing with giving Timelord negative trust for not having done a deal with you... whereas you tagged Etshy without having traded with them.
Also added a fresh new tag for you.
3440  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's your favorite poker site on: April 14, 2018, 03:13:12 PM
So I do not think you must have some problem with them because it is more than once they confiscate your withdrawal
That line of thinking will allow sites to scam users. If it's their word vs. Nitrogen's and you always pass off complaints as problems associated with the user, then scam accusations will never go anywhere.

It's simple, really. If the community members are allowing you to scam because to them, it seems unlikely that you would do so, then you should.

Kind of like poker theory. If the rational thing would be to never bet, never betting ≠ the best decision.
