I do not think there will be requirement for Raina but his experience in middle order and in crucial stages does help the team. At the moment if he comes back he will need to sit for sometime now.

Raina is someone who is capable of scoring runs quickly. CSK needs someone like him in the middle order. During the last match, both Rayudu and du Plessis scored the runs for them, but if not for Sam Curran they could have lost the match. Du Plessis in particular was scoring runs very slowly, as he made runs at a strike rate of 132. It is understandable, considering the fact that almost half of the squad is aged around 35 years.
3422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 22, 2020, 05:02:34 AM
Haha that shit really looked fixed to me. 3 balls and 1 run with two okayish batsmen in the middle. It was actually unexpected and no one thought match would go for superover. Moreover the second mistake of KXIP was not coming up with Mayank Aggarwal in the Super Over. That man was in such a good touch and well settled and would have hit a few runs unlike Rahul, Maxwell and Pooran. All three of them failed miserably in the match there was no point in three of them coming together to bet.

I can't really trust any of these matches. After all, a few years back two of the franchisee owners were caught for match-fixing (they were let off with very lenient punishments because one of the franchises were owned by N Srinivasan). But this particular match looked OK. Even if they want to fix the match, would they wait till the last 3 balls to do that? But agreed that KXIP should have sent in Mayank Aggarwal. That was a big blunder from their part.
3423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Dade to open Casinos and Restaurants for the third time. on: September 22, 2020, 04:50:55 AM
Perhaps the governments do not see much good in the Casinos considering the problems and low/bad value contents lots of them add to society. I think if you have good casinos that are filled with good games, encourage responsible betting and help make their customers better people, the governments will see little to no reason to keep them closed

ROFLMAO. It is not the casino owners responsibility to make "their customers better citizens" It is the responsibility of the government. The casinos and their customers are paying a higher than average tax rate to the government, which is in turn used for various welfare activities. So they are doing their part and there is no need to blame what they do.
3424  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: September 22, 2020, 04:38:09 AM
The third world countries suffered more with the pandemic that others. Except for some countries that provided subsidy with some food items and alternative money use like house rent. Fuel price had a very short dump before it rises however it does not have effect on quarantined communities around the globe. Politics paid a very bad effect on most citizens and exploited them to give much to the capitalist government

I don't think that food and other essential prices have increased in a big way in any of the third world nations. On the other hand, it should be the other way. The consumption has gone down, and therefore the prices should decline. I am hearing stories about farmers unable to sell their produce, due to the lockdown restrictions. That may be having an impact as well. But as of now, food prices seems to be at normal levels.
3425  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SC Justice Ginsberg dead. on: September 22, 2020, 04:07:30 AM
Barrett MIGHT hurt his suburban woman voters, but the staunch conservatives would absolutely love her on the court.

If suburban woman are against Barrett, then they are against Trump as well. Because both of them hold the same pro-life views. So I don't think that her selection may cost Trump any additional votes. Even during his 2016 campaign, Trump had explicitly stated that one of his major aims is to overturn the Roe v Wade judgement. After he became the POTUS, Trump vowed to appoint SCOTUS judges only if they are ready to overturn Roe v. Wade. Also, he has stated that he would allow states to ban abortion. So all those suburban "pro-abortion" woman were anti-Trump from the very beginning. He's not going to lose any of them now.
3426  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19's "New Normal" is Creating Opportunities in Crypto on: September 22, 2020, 03:55:43 AM
good conectivity and fast internet is the same but you said internet speed is not the basis of success which is also true because there are people on far locations that are still succesful on their career and there were people that grown in a good life but they are uneducated or unemployed . the way you said connectivity, maybe you mean connections to other people .connections are also essentials to success because you can ask people or people you know can recomend you if they see that you have a skill on that area .

By good connectivity I mean proximity to major highways or airports. You can't run a business sitting at home. You need to meet the clients and take part in exhibitions. In order to do that, you need to travel frequently. In case you are located in a remote region, then that may hinder your operations. If you are unable to travel, then the clients may dump you and chose some of your competitors. That's why I said that having a good internet connection alone doesn't guarantee anything. It can be a major help, but you need to take care of the other factors as well.
3427  Economy / Speculation / Re: According to Kiyosaki it’s time to buy Bitcoins, because Buffet has dumped banks on: September 22, 2020, 03:40:26 AM
Could it be possible that the banking system would collapse in the future if their system keeps failing? I can't say if people would be careless to just transfer all of their wealth in Bitcoin than putting it in the bank. Although this speculation might be one of those rumors scattered to create FUD. Let's just wait if Buffet could confirm this rumor since the social media is not saying exactly what Kiyosaki claimed.

If everyone was purchasing, then the exchange rates would be rocketing by now. But as I can see, the prices are going down. But on the other hand, the gold prices have gone up by almost 40% since the beginning of the year. So we have evidence to claim that at least some of the investors are moving away from fiat cash to bullion. And I expect gold prices to go further up in the coming years.
3428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why has no-one done a crypto Ebay? on: September 22, 2020, 03:17:43 AM
I do not doubt that they will grow in the coming years if they continue like this:

I guess they are facing shortage of funds and manpower. Less than 10% of the startups will become successful. In the cryptocurrency sector, this proportion is even lower, I believe. We can't expect all of the online shopping sites to grow like eBay or Amazon. Also, getting investment from venture capitalists is more difficult for sites such as Bitify. They have a lot of disadvantages, but let's wait and see whether they will be able to grow.
3429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why has no-one done a crypto Ebay? on: September 21, 2020, 06:22:52 AM
There are several sites similar to Ebay, such as Bitify. Everyone want online shops similar to Ebay. But do you guys know how long it took for Ebay to grow to its present state? Ebay was founded in 1995 and for the first 2-3 years, it only had a few thousand users. Only after Pierre Omidyar received a loan of $6.7 million from Benchmark Capital, the site was expanded and the business increased. We have a lot of startups such as Bitify now. Who knows, in the next 5 to 10 years, one of them may even overtake eBay.
3430  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19's "New Normal" is Creating Opportunities in Crypto on: September 21, 2020, 06:07:55 AM
Indeed. Developing countries might have more successful businessmen, programmers, entrepreneurs, etc., If they all have a fast internet connection. Having a slow internet connection or having a bad Internet service provider will not give you enough opportunities to keep yourself grinding in the world of crypto or your online business because you will only get limited access or will slow you down to keep your job done.

Now we have quality internet connection in every nook and corner of the world. Earlier, the internet users were dependent on broadband connection. It was expensive and the coverage was sparse. But with the advent of 4G, cheap mobile internet became available in remote and isolated regions. But in order to develop successful businesses, a fast internet connection alone can't do the trick. You also need skilled workforce, government support, good connectivity.etc.
3431  Economy / Speculation / Re: According to Kiyosaki it’s time to buy Bitcoins, because Buffet has dumped banks on: September 21, 2020, 05:46:29 AM
In my friend circle, no one is investing in the banking sector. Only some government controlled pension funds are buying them. The last time I purchased a banking stock was 8 years ago. The current system is simply not sustainable. When the government support stops, the banks are going to collapse. So what Buffet is doing, is clearly not an exception. A lot of other investors are doing the same.
3432  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SCOTUS to become real conservative majority by 2019 on: September 21, 2020, 05:33:36 AM
This was originally posted in 2019 but Kavanaugh further right than Gorsuch, don't know about that. Conservatives usually bat poorly on SCOTUS picks. They end up not ruling as conservative as their previous judicial records or become a John Roberts.

We need a bit longer to see how Kavanaugh fairs, but I would love a Gorsuch-like pick or any other originalist tbh.

Kavanaugh is still rated as a right-wing judge, but may not be as conservative as Gorsuch or Thomas. I am pretty sure that he will not end up like Roberts. John Roberts was nominated by George W. Bush, and he had an affinity towards left-wing candidates who were put forward by the RINOs such as Arlen Specter.

George W Bush tried to nominate another left-wing judge (Harriet Miers), but was forced to cancel his plans as a result of opposition from his own party. His father George H. W. Bush nominated one of the most left-wing judges (David Souter) in the history of the SCOTUS. In short, GWB and his father did a lot of damage to the conservative cause and Trump has reversed most of this damage after three decades.
3433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 21, 2020, 05:07:11 AM
Why can't the umpires go towards the third umpire to check if it was a short run or not. The margin was very little and a wrong decision at that time could have changed the direction of the match in the favor of other team.

Agreed. Nowadays no-balls are being called by the third umpire, with the help from technology. So I don't understand why the field umpires need to take the decision regarding short run. But all that said, KXIP have only themselves to blame. With just one run needed from three balls, their batsmen threw away their wickets aiming for big shots. Mayank Agarwal could have taken a single of the 4th ball from the 20th over, but he wanted to finish the match by hitting a boundary.
3434  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID19 VACCINE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH? on: September 21, 2020, 04:54:02 AM
Weirder phenomenon in my country.  People believe more in traditional medicines, fruit, or natural ingredients that contain substances that are said to increase immunity than vaccines developed.  Even my own mother forbade me to get the vaccine if I had the chance.  How strange, right?

Actually people should consume more fruits and green vegetables, as their consumption is going down these days. If the pandemic causes an increase in the consumption of these items, then it is good news. The only thing I would recommend is to go for organic products, as a lot of this stuff available in the market contain traces of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Traditional supplements are also good, but don't consume them without doing proper research.
3435  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-07-30] Power plants in Iran can mine Bitcoin on: September 21, 2020, 04:41:08 AM
It's all about making various source of income for them and in any case for any country who wants to maximize their resources in order to make profit. I don't see this as a bad move at all and they are actually attracting foreign investors going in the country, like what I have said in an earlier post here Chinese miners actually move out from China and move to Iran just because they have cheaper electricity. Other than that I have seen that they have loosen some restrictions when it comes to the crypto industry in their country making them more attractable for crypto related businesses to run their operations there.

This is not going to be easy. As far as I know, Iran doesn't have any facilities which produce Bitcoin mining rigs. They need to import them from China, and this is not possible due to sanctions.  And also, the Chinese miners can't just move from China to Iran. That is also not permitted. And even if they get the necessary permission, moving all the giant-sized mining farms to Iran may be a very costly and time consuming process.

If the casino is not using a strict health protocol, the new case will increase than before, and that will make the government difficult to handle the people. Every country uses that too because the government doesn't want to see the new case every day, but people still don't care about their health. We see that many people disobey the health protocol, and they always need to remind by the officials, and the officials always searching for people who don't obey the rule.

We need to follow the health protocols to prevent the virus infection, and that is what we need to do when we are in the public area and the crowd. We need to survive before the vaccine can be found.

If the supermarkets, saloons.etc are open, then it doesn't make sense to continue with the suspension of casino operations. All the business establishments are supposed to follow the strict protocols established by the government authorities. And regarding the customers, it is up to them to maintain social distancing and to follow preventive measures such as wearing of masks. The government has done all that can be done. Now it is up to the general population to play their part.
3437  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Privileges as Hostage: How it could Push Countries Toward China on: September 21, 2020, 04:18:04 AM
Do you really think that EU, which is already pretty slow to take any action, would do anything if they weren't sure that it's 100% true? If they indeed had some motive to crush Philippines economy for some really strange reason, because what would they gain, then they would have acted much more harshly and much more sooner. This all just sounds like a conspiracy theory to whitewash Duterte's crimes, which is really lame, because Duterte himself isn't really hiding that he wants anyone related to drug use to get killed.

I still believe that Duterte's war on drugs was a success. Thousands became collateral casualty, but the death rates from overdose and drug-related violence. Some of the drug lords were killed and some others were forced to flee towards "friendly" countries. Soft approach towards crime seldom works in third-world nations. The "iron-hand" approach is needed, just like what Duterte is doing.
3438  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 shows how weak People are in the it mind on: September 21, 2020, 04:07:14 AM
People are already adapting. According to the latest unemployment data from the United States, a large percentage of those who lost their jobs in April and May have been able to find new jobs. The stock markets are at all time highs. Tech stocks have appreciated by anywhere from 50% to 150% during the last 6-7 months. In my opinion, within the next 2-3 months the situation will go back to normalcy.
3439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 21, 2020, 03:50:37 AM
However Raina will play this season game, what Dhoni has revealed is a start point to take him into the team. Raina is a strong player at the middle order and for the critical match situation when there is continued fall of wickets. CSK has made a strong start, but based on the upcoming few match stats changes can happen with the entry of Raina.

CSK needs someone who is capable of scoring at 1.5 runs per over in the middle overs and I think Raina is perfect for this spot. Even in the match against MI, they faced a lot of difficulty in stepping up the scoring rate. Both du Plessis and Rayudu had strike rate lower than 150. And without the fireworks from Sam Curran towards the end, they could have easily lost the match.
3440  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SCOTUS to become real conservative majority by 2019 on: September 21, 2020, 03:37:07 AM
We should never compromise the integrity of the court itself, once we do that we compromise the court forever. Some may say that RBG is unfit to serve and such (Consevatives are going to say this, as it benefits them) though they wouldn't say the same thing if a Right leaning justice was sick as well.

Let her serve out her (lifetime) term, of this same sort of presidential pressure is going to be used to push out Conservative justices.

Nobody pushed her out and yet Trump will get a chance to name her replacement. Biden and the other Democrats are going ballistic over the replacement, but in the end Amy Coney Barrett will get confirmed as the next SCOTUS judge. Biden should rather blame RBG. She had a chance to retire in 2016, when Obama could have named her replacement. But she refused, due to her greed for power. She refused to retire, even when she was totally incapable of attending the court. And even after all this.... RBG will be remembered as the justice who gave conservatives a solid SCOTUS majority.

BTW, I heard that Murkowski and Collins are planning to vote against the Trump nominee. That's not going to be enough.
