3441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin do you trust the most? on: February 11, 2021, 09:08:03 AM
Hey guys,
I plan on selling some of my altcoins in the near future. Instead of converting it to fiat, I will rather convert it to BTC and stablecoins. I hear a lot of concerns regarding USDT, which is why I want to ask you guys what stablecoin you prefer to hold?
If you’re looking for the stable coins with more liquidity I wouldn’t say DAI, because there are others that follows, although Tether still has more liquidity over all of them for now.

True USD (TUSD) is another stable coins that you might have to look into. But I have noticed that a lot of people have started talking about DAI recently which is a sign that it is picking up and things can change from any moment for the better for it. And the good thing about DAI like you said is that there is no centralized authority, it’s just completely free on it’s own, and there is no bank that backs it.
3442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does Polkadot crypto come to 7th position? is a scam? on: February 11, 2021, 06:55:24 AM
There has been a lot of hype surrounding Polkadot and I believe the same goes for the number of people that are investing in the project, they are probably going to be many and investing huge, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to me if it reaches the 7th position. I don’t think it’s a scam, and as for whether it’s a good project or not, that’s what I can’t tell you and I can’t tell if it will be able to stand in the future.

Polkadot is not the first project that was nicknamed the Ethereum killer, most of them have come and gone and nobody knows about them now. Ethereum usually beats, and moreover there are still lots of developers making use of Ethereum smart chain.
3443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Crash? on: February 11, 2021, 06:24:39 AM
The interest in Bitcoin has seen a large growth so I don’t know about this crash and whether it’s going to be something that will be possible. But, if I am to give you a yes and no answer, then my answer is probably going to be a No, judging from the way things are going as of this time, though we still can’t predict the future of Bitcoin, but we always need to be positive, because it’s the trust we have in the asset that keeps the train moving.

Moreover I believe that in a situation where Bitcoin happens to crash like you have said, it will still rise up because it’s not really about the price, people will continue to be making use of it for transactions and moreover the price was once worth below 1 dollar.
3444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money from Bitcoin in 2021 on: February 10, 2021, 05:48:42 PM
Good list, but I don’t know about this survey of a thing, I think they are really a waste of time unless maybe the location you’re living they pay well enough. Where I live I have tried to do survey a lot of times and all the websites that I have managed to get after serious digging on the internet all turned out to be useless.

You will spend like fifteen to twenty minutes answering questions and at the end you just get pennies and some don’t even have surveys available on their website which makes it worst, because you’re never going to reach their threshold for withdrawal. So they don’t make any sense for me. Other ones you have mentioned are good, but anyone going for airdrops really have to be careful.
3445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH COIN IS THE NEXT ETHEREUM ? on: February 09, 2021, 07:11:39 PM
I believe it is not going to be something major we know of, definitely not going to be second ranked neither, ethereum will always be ethereum but something will be very much liked and a lot of things will be built upon it as well. You have to understand the thing that made ETH so much wanted was the fact that other things were built connected to ethereum blockchain, and that made ethereum bought a lot more, and that is the key to success of ethereum, not only it was good itself but also it had a lot of other good things all attached to it, which should be whatever the next ethereum is.

I believe Avax has that chance, it definitely works to become a new ETH and has many good deeds all capable of building with it, but BNB is definitely the one that took my attention the most, it is building even a huge defi ecosystem just to rival ETH right now and price increased a lot as well.
3446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy coins. How much do you think we need them? on: February 09, 2021, 06:30:54 PM
The thing is that in some cases I can’t tell how really private that these coins are, I have also read that Monero can be traced, though tracing and tracking down such a transaction is going to be a very hard job. But privacy coins are good, though I have not used them before because I haven’t seen the need for them since nobody is using them for a transaction, people I come across everyday are usually making use of Bitcoin , Ethereum.

But, all these cryptocurrencies can be affected once the government decides to ban and shut them down, unless we are going to switch to making use of decentralized exchanges. Privacy coins will be good if you have something that you want to cover up, and it’s a transaction that you don’t want anyone to know and trace easily.
3447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Cup 2021 Season Prediction Thread on: February 09, 2021, 04:27:06 PM
Basaksehirs last 3 games are losing 5-1 against Hatayspor, losing 3-0 against galatasaray and losing 1-0 against Karagümruk. I am not saying Basaksehir is a horrible team, they actually have a good roster as well and I do not know what happened to them and why they are playing like this, even fired the coach as well but at the end of the day whatever the reason is, they are playing very very bad for the past few weeks.

So, I believe a team like Fenerbahce who is trying hard to win the league and the cup this year and do a double to finally make their supports happy again after so many years of no championship in the league (got the cup though) will have zero problem beating Basaksehir today. Of course it is going to be not so entertaining to watch but I am 100% sure that fenerbahce will play a lot better, plus it is a bit more chance for Ozil to get better conditioning as well.
3448  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Exchange of the 2020 on: February 09, 2021, 03:50:38 PM
I too would say binance, it is by far the best one even in a defi year. I know that in the year 2020 we have seen a lot of defi exchanges or better yet known dex got more popular and many people moved to those ones, but I still think those are for exchanging lower level coins and tokens and not for the big ones, there could be some big ones listed on those as well but those big ones are mainly on CEX right now and not there.

This is why I think binance is better, they are growing bigger and they are taking part of the pools and staking and so forth as well, so they are moving away from just being simply a cex too, and they have done that part perfectly as well. I think they are going to keep growing, no matter where crypto world goes, there will be binance and you can see that from the increasing price of bnb as well since many people still want that.
3449  Economy / Economics / Re: The Bitcoin Price Paradox on: February 09, 2021, 03:20:34 PM
Well, Bitcoin is not bad as you have said, and another thing you have to know is that Bitcoin is never going to become the currency for any country, the only thing that government around the world might do is to come together and regulate Bitcoin, and the reason that might lead to this when there happens to increased rate of scamming and all that.

It’s just like what happened in Nigeria, I saw the news that their government banned Bitcoin and when researched I saw the reason why, because their Central Bank got report from the Western government about scammers using Bitcoin, so they decided to ban. In a situation like this if they are going to lift the ban, they might decide to join hands together with those other countries and regulate crypto.
3450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Bangladesh! on: February 09, 2021, 02:40:10 PM
Bruhhh Shocked these people should just free people for once!!! Why can’t they let people do what they want to do? Okay we are very much aware of the money laundering part and terrorism financing, but I think these are issues that can tackled if we look into them.

Moreover, based on my research, most of the money laundering and funding of terrorism is usually done with fiat and these people don’t even make use of cryptocurrency, so why are they bothering crypto users so much? Maybe they should start looking for ways they stop all those things instead of stopping cryptocurrency.
3451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 08, 2021, 06:59:13 PM
Honestly it wasn't really an impossible situation but Liverpool got really unlucky and everyone who watched the game knows it. The game we watched definitely didn't deserve a 4-1 result, it wasn't even that much in the first 70 minutes or so but after that suddenly the 1-1 game became 4-1 very quickly.

Not that it was a bad game to watch as a fan of neither team, I just had a lot of fun watching it, but I also felt a bit sad about the Liverpool fans, they did win a lot of cups in the recent years so they shouldn't be really that sad about this year but it is looking more and more like they are not going to be winning anything, this game probably already sealed the possibility that they won't become champions, and I feel like they will have hard time even for top 3 fighting by the looks of it as well, if they can fight they may become third by the looks of it.
3452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: February 08, 2021, 05:11:42 PM
Many people will sell at much lower prices like 30k or 40K thinking that bitcoin cannot reach more than this price. Other people know that bitcoin can easily reach 100,000K, but as soon as bitcoin dump little, they get panic and sell their bitcoin. These people will miss the real profits when bitcoin will reach the market cycle top which could be between 150,000$ - 200,000$. So in my opinion, we should not sell now at cheap prices.
There are people who sell right now who do not think that bitcoin can't reach 100k, they think it can reach 100k and it will reach 100k, there are just some people who sell because they think before it reaches 100k it could go down to 30k and then they can buy more and they will keep it until it reaches 100k price.

That is at least the line of thinking a trader has, I have a friend who does daily trading and he buys and sells almost at any price, doesn't mean that he doesn't think bitcoin won't reach 100k, he just believes that instead of buying and waiting for it to go up, he might as well buy/sell everyday constantly and make even more money than someone who just buys and sells. Sometimes they make more money that way and sometimes they make less money that way, it doesn't really matter because they are not selling it with the hopes that price would go down.
3453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any clue about the amount to buy or sell to influence the price trend? on: February 08, 2021, 09:36:31 AM
I see that price trend is influenced by the amount of crypto bought or sold but I don't know the level that can create that panic to demand you to buy or sell too...
More, have you considered organizing yourself in groups for trading based on a schedule? For instance, you create  a group of 10-100 people, you agree by voting what you'll do, sell or buy and then you go in group by buying or selling knowing exact timing? Is this kind of strategy profitable? Did you try it? Wanna try it? Smiley
When you  create groups to buy and sell at the same time, it is what’s called P&D Groups (pump and dumps), and in regulated market it is considered as something illegal to do.

I cannot tell if that’s the same with cryptocurrency trading since it is not regulated by the government, but it seems totally wrong to me since most of the people that does that are usually targeting small cap coins that they will easily pump and dump and then render these coins useless which is totally wrong.
3454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did YOU start trading in bitcoin? on: February 06, 2021, 02:08:12 PM
I started trading in bitcoin when in 2014 I saw many opportunities that could make me rich, from bitcoin I learned little by little and was able to get bitcoin from the faucet, finally in 2015 I tried to learn more in this forum, and until currently I still survive and trade in bitcoin. trading in bitcoin is very fun because we can get a lot of profit unexpectedly.
It has been 7 years for you since you are trading but the thing I don't like is that you called it "fun" to trade. Don't get me wrong and maybe because you are trading small amounts you call it funny but someone like me who trades for living and buy and sell multiple coins a day and stress all night about which coins will pump and which ones will dump. Its not easy being a trader if you are doing it seriously and for living.

I started trading some years ago and can't recall the exact year but I was more of an investor and less of a trader as I used to buy as many bitcoins possible and later when the bull run was going on, I used to sell some and again wait for the market to drop down for buying.
3455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price correction btc 6-12 months on: February 05, 2021, 06:05:27 AM
Technical analysis makes a slight difference than solely relying on fundamentals and presumption based on current price movements. Though TA's focuses on past records and current movements of asset, but the chances for that specific analysis to happen is still 50/50 just like those who are just guessing the next price movements.
So, I have to agree the above comment, because no one would ever be certain on what would be the next Btc price.
We were once on the verge of lossing the $30,000 level, but It bounces back to almost $40,000 at this very moment. A lot of speculations say Btc is on its way on having the early correction.
I simply mean in the loosest term possible that "bitcoin can do anything it wants" because let's face it, in the technical sense it could be 1 dollars or 1 million dollars as well, that is even wider range than 20k to 50k range, however that is "technically possible" that we do not believe in, everybody knows bitcoin is not going to 1 dollar, and it will not be 1 million dollars anytime soon neither.

Long story short I mean that 20k is (or was at the time) only 50% or so drop away, and that is totally fine, it could definitely happen, however looking at 50k at today's price you may think that is easier, but at the time it was nearly identical. When the price was 35k, it required 15k drop to be 20k and 15k increase to be 50k, and looking at everything we have I felt like it was equal chances to hit those two numbers. Now looking at it, I could say 50k is a bit more possible.
3456  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance trip about using a VPN? on: February 03, 2021, 05:39:13 PM
Like some other platforms do. Is it against thier terms and conditions? Could it cause account termination?
My colleague"sort of" had a problem like this before. If you end up using Binance with VPN and not get caught at all it wouldn't change anything, after all if binance doesn't know that you are using VPN then what can they do about it? That is why not getting caught is the most important part of the situation.

However my colleague got caught, he was asked to provide KYC as well, and he did shared his own information which showed he was from another nation. However, luckily he showed a passport ticket that he was in the country he showed, now if he never went to that nation he would be screwed but since he was capable of showing that, he said he is still there and got away with it, he just got lucky but that was pure luck and he could have been in trouble.

3458  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: February 03, 2021, 04:14:23 PM
The question has be answered because technically, but in addition bitcoin or cryptocurrency at large is money in all ramifications of life, it's higher currency that every other fucking country across the world is using today, what fiat currency does bitcoin performed it more preferable than fiat currency, so no area we can be use to justify cryptocurrency as not money, its very clear that bitcoin are use to purchase anything generally accepted with money so their is no difference between btc and paper money and bitcoin.
"not money" is used because we are not spending it, just because we are buying it and selling it doesn't mean that it could be considered money. Don't get me wrong I do consider crypto as money, but I am just trying to explain to you what other people are thinking.

Asset and Money are different things, one of them is like stock, gold, forex and all the other stuff which we call assets and you can have them, keep them for a very long time, and sell them to have more fiat. What you get in return of that is money, so if you spend money to buy a stock and it increases so you sell it for more money you made a profit but your aim is to have more money not more stocks.

However crypto is like both of them which confuses people, can I get a flight ticket with crypto? Yes I can. Can I buy bitcoin and hold it and later sell for more money? Sure I can. So, we are both an asset but also a money, which confuses people obviously.
3459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price correction btc 6-12 months on: February 03, 2021, 03:06:57 PM
Bitcoin could have a correction to under 20k in the future but that doesn't mean that we are going to see that easily, sure it "could" happen but this idea that price will definitely go down and there is nothing we can do about it is wrong and it should be fought off against.

Just like how bitcoin could be under 20k tomorrow, it could also be 50k+ tomorrow, these are all possible, it could be not tomorrow but some other time but the possibility of bitcoin being under 20k and over 50k are equally the same and that is why we should not think in pessimistic tone, we should be careful about a drop and set our stop loss points just in case but that is just a way of guaranteeing that we are not going to lose too much whereas we should also have a plan to sell it when it is over 50k as well. I say put a stop loss at around 27k level and also have a sell order at 50k so that you will be ready in either case.
3460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP Price in january 2021 on: February 03, 2021, 08:55:31 AM
Looks like the price is falling already. It went from 2219 to 1200 within a few hours and it's now hovering around the ~1350sat. Wondering if they even dump it more.
It was already a known drop and there was no need for it to stay high, so its obvious that people would lose money from this, that is what I am very sad about as well. It is a currency that we all knew that would fall down eventually, it is in investigation and there is a SEC probing going on with Ripple, so it was obvious that there is nothing good about xrp that is going on right now, there is no reason why it should be high.

What happened? Some people pumped it and now dumped it, the price went low so much and now going even lower, and all the other people who got hyped about the pump ended up losing money, there is really nothing we can do to make this work, because its something we never really imagined would be possible, any sane person would have realized it shouldn't be high, but it did, and now there are thousands losing money and there is nothing we can do about it.
