3441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Genting Casinos awarded for their safer betting standards on: October 27, 2021, 03:02:15 PM
.... I do believe these are an amazing way to show the appreciation and to show the responsibility that a casino might take to go beyond for it's users.

Be it a local or an international award, an award is an indication and a recognition that an individual or an organisation is doing well. Also recognition is an encouragement to do more. In that locale where this casino is sited, it will prompt other casinos around to increase their standards and do better.
3442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why is BNB facing resistance at that $500 level? on: October 27, 2021, 08:35:34 AM
I'v been HODLing BNB for a while now, i've always seen BNB as a coin that has the ability to topple Ethereum but since May 10, 2021, BNB has been struggling to surpass the last ATH it set which was $686.31. Since then, it's been difficult for BNB to pass $500.

Why is BNB facing resistance at that $500 level?

No not an act of money laundering, the E-naira is a welcome development and being the first African country to take this bold step to make our local flat go degital, I know most of us don't like how the country is moving but YES the launching of the E- naira is a good thing that would stay for a long time. With the E-naira you no need carry your ATM card travel as you can easily shop and make payment easily and faster.

3444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wake up shib haters on: October 25, 2021, 12:41:54 PM
Shib just started to make wave, so how so suddenly is it that people have hate for it already. furthermore, with the many options in cryptocurrency for investment and HODLing, i think we all have the right and freewill to decide which to invest in. Shib may be projected accordingly to perform well, but it doesn't mean we all have to invest in it, and it doesn't mean i hate it.

Just do what you think that can contribute to the forum and DGAF to any negative user commenting on your content without any basis to support ...
Also if some feels like a general statement made by someone is directed towards them or they feel attacked, it is a sign of low self esteem, because someone with a high opinion of themselves will care less about other people's opinion especially when it is not constructive. You should work to build and develop your self esteem.
3446  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Most important person alive? on: October 25, 2021, 07:10:09 AM

To determine the "MOST IMPORTANT PERSON ALIVE" we must follow a certain criteria to do so:
(This is what I think some of the criteria)
1. If he/she dies, will the world be shaken by his/her death?

I agree with you, truth is nobody is indespensable and as important as we think they are. I don't think there is anyone that has super general importance worldwide that his or her death can cause a general outrage that will force persons to go against their normal activities. We may mourn at the loss of such great men and women, and have sympathy on their families, but it won't stop people from eating or the time from turning.

Also the names of people on that list have different importance to different persons in different locations, that is something to know as well.
3447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2021, 11:09:41 PM
How then do we say we have made money from it if we don't sell?

I don't think anyone categorically said that while HODLing, you cannot sell off some profits from your portfolio if need be while still keeping some intact. It is a misconception to me to think that HODLing just means you can never sell a percentage from your portfolio, to me it means don't sell all, always try to keep for HODLing for the future so you are not left out.

Nigeria continues to be the most populated country with cryptocurrency in Africa

Cryptocurrency use and popularity are continuously growing across the African continent, with Nigeria continuing to dominate the local crypto exchanges that are commonly utilized today.

3450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 24, 2021, 04:58:45 PM
Mo salah is on fire. Who would have predicted this scoreline? Safe to say this season that Liverpool is a bigger team than MU. MU have been completely outplayed. Check and console you friends that support MU because am not certain they saw this coming. This is most embarrassing performance for MU especially at home this year  Pogba's frustration about the game is evident that's why he picked up a sloppy red card.

Not sure this is the MU CR7 was hoping he had returned to.
3451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 24, 2021, 12:52:26 PM
MU's advantage is only that they play at OldTrafford, the rest are still 50-50, their drawback is that they don't have a manager who is an expert in strategy when the team is under pressure, I prefer choose to bet on BTTS odds lower than 1 X 2 but it,s okay.

The other advantage that MU has apart from the home advantage is CR7 who is a phenomenal player and has the ability to inspire other players especially in fixtures like this.  Playing "both to score" on an encounter like is good because we expect goals from both side. MU can score, but as for their defence, no assurance. Liverpool on the other hand can score and have a very good defence as well. MU will need to double up to hold back Liverpool today.
3452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 24, 2021, 09:12:45 AM
Yeah, talking about privacy which is very key...

Especially now when more awareness is being made about bitcoin and people are becoming more aware about cryptocurrency, its benefits and how addresses are somewhat anonymous. You may never know who is attracted to you for the purpose of stealing your coins after you have foolishly shown the world or declared your crypto portfolio. So we must always exercise caution.
3453  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I grow my Crypto Bag without trading on: October 24, 2021, 05:13:04 AM
There's this fiat saving style that is done in my country. People refer to it with different names such as osusu, akawo etc. It is generally a model where a fixed number of persons (for example 10 persons) agree to contribute a fixed sum daily/weekly/monthly depending on the agreement. After every one contributes, the money is gathered and given to one of the participants, that is 1 participant from one example collects the contribution of the other 9, If the contribution runs for 10 weeks, at the end of each week, another person collects every body's money and then he/she contributes for the next week for another person to take. People use this model to save fiat for themselves, if we can apply this model to cryptocurrency, i believe it is a way to grow your crypto Portfolio.

They only challenge to this is the issue of fluctuating rates, which i believe a solution can be put forward to.
3454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: October 24, 2021, 04:48:38 AM
If you only have $10 left in your sports betting account, would you go for the champ which you can only earn $3, or go for the underdog which if he got lucky can triple your money?

First if you are not certain about the Fighters, you do your research and check statistics from their very recent encounters, before you place your bet. You check their preparations for the encounter. Fighter A the champ may just be an overhyped fighter with old glory, who may loose as a result of underestimating the underdog, who in some cases train very hard and when they are out to fight, you see the hunger in them to win. I am a risk take plus I like big wins, i may decide to risk it and bet on the underdog knowing a win will bring big profit.

The weekend is going great so far for all the big teams, Arsenal (if we are still considered one), Chelsea with their 7-0 demolition of Norwich, Manchester city with their convincing win as well over Brighton who have played well this season. Tomorrow, in the game between MUFC and Liverpool, we will know which of the big teams is joining the list of teams that have had a great weekend so far.

I know there will be goals from both end, Mo Salah is on fire, CR7 as we all know always steps up to the challenge in big fixtures. Is it going to be CR7 against Liverpool or MUFC against Liverpool?
3456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 23, 2021, 01:18:14 PM

Norwich makes chelsea struggle a lot of times and tuchel should pay attention to that.

The Chelsea side has completely out played Norwich as expected. Even without some first team options, Chelsea has shown that they still have the quality it takes to win matches. With any team the Chelsea side faces, you notice that the players show same hunger to score goals and win, their mentality is top notch. The coach Tuchel has really had an effect on his players.
3457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: October 23, 2021, 09:18:38 AM
SHIB was not formerly available on the binance app. As at when i purchased SHIB, i did it on kucoin. This is more like an announcement i think. This can promote SHIB in a way as stunch users of binance can now trade SHIB. If you can risk HODLing Shiba, i suggest you do. If you have done your analysis and you are super positive about the future outcome of Shiba, you can allocate a percentage of your portfolio to it and wait.
3458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 23, 2021, 05:34:50 AM
I must say I am sorry for doubting them but yesterday they really proved great as a team. Lot of good plays and movement in attack and defensively they were strong as well. A strong midfield hold also was something good to see from Gunners. I think its a good sign and if they play like this and be consistent then they also could be a good contender in title race. Right now they are at 9th but they can climb the ladder quickly if they avoid dropping points and play like they have done in these 4-5 matches.x

I'm a fan of arsenal, but IMHO, regardless of the win, i don't still refer to them as title contenders, at least not for this season. Yes we are picking up pace and moving up the table, but i am not convinced. Against a more stronger opponent than Aston Villa, Arsenal cannot be trusted to perform. Even in the yesterday's encounter, many like myself refused to stake on our team arsenal to win, because we are highly unpredictable.
3459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: October 22, 2021, 09:22:17 PM
It has ended at the Emirates Stadium with Arsenal winning against Aston Villa 3-1.

A wonderful gift to former coach Arsene Wenger, and a great way to get into the weekend. It is safe to say that arsenal is picking up pace after a bad start to the season. Fans of MU who who were laughing at Arsenal fans at the start of the season will be furious to see that the same arsenal is now on same points with them.

Congratulations to Thomas Partey on his first goal for Arsenal, I hope this sets him in the mood for more.
3460  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it safe to use Binance on VPN on: October 22, 2021, 07:16:38 PM
Since twitter is accessible in my country currently only with the use of VPN, whenever i turn on my VPN to use twitter, i notice that after i turn it back off and try to check the market on my binance app, my account has been automatically logged out. To view my portfolio, i'm usually required to log in again. I don't know if any other person experiences this.
