There is no doubt that the Nigerian team is strong. Because they have won all the matches of the group stage. Their gameplay is excellent. Among the African teams, Nigeria's gameplay and strategy are the most beautiful. But is the Tunisian team really strong? They collected only 3 points in 3 matches of group stage. They have won one match and lost the other two. My guess is that Nigeria could easily win the next match against Tunisia.

You are talking about round of 16, Nigeria versus Tunisia. Tunisia teams are not encouraging at all, but round of 16 will be tougher because the players will be having more strengths as they are getting closer to the final. Any team can win this match but if we should use stat and previous matches to compare, Tunisia should be expecting 2 goals range from Nigeria. I predict Nigeria to win with 2 goals range.

I feel the same way about you. Nigeria will win 2-0. I have watched past matches in Nigeria. They have good defense, they have the ability to score goals. Tunisia's performance is weak and erratic. However, since it is a knockout match, Nigeria must play very carefully. They can be defeated even for a small mistake. In a friendly match in 2020, Tunisia drew 1-1 with Nigeria.

Yes African football style is almost the same but not in all the region of Africa. Like we have different parts in the continent like west, north ,south and east Africa and they play as the region they are from. West Africa are more physical in there football style while North are not etc. About the goals coming in the match, West Africa teams playing each you don't expect much goal but I believe the whole tournament will be different with goals as the game progress and we are seeing that already.

It is normal for any coach who didn't meet a target set for him to be sacked. The Black stars were not one of the teams that i would have initially thought will not advance to the knockout stages of the competition. Perhaps it is more painful now for them seeing that their close comparison Nigeria is doing well and have advanced to the next stage. Hopefully with a new coach, we will see a better Ghanian side in the next competition.

They lack concentration and the ability to score penalties. Tunisia and Algeria were expected to play finals but the latter was kicked from the group stage and Tunisia has to be lucky to win vs Nigeria. In that match, I would say Tunisian could get a draw at best but their failure in penalties make me wonder how could they pass Nigeria? They won't imo.

Yes, it is really, he has been sacked I think because of the  poor performance of team . I think it is too early for such decision to be taken.  Poor performance sometimes are not always from the coach , it could also be from the players expecially when players lack experience and are not professionals, sacking him may not change any difference.

The African cup is interesting to follow because you would think that stars like Mane or Salah can decide these championships on their own to some degree. There are amazingly strong soccer players on that continent and for them it is so important to get some visibility among all the drama that the European football produces. Just think about Eto'o, what an amazing striker. These guys need more attention.

Looking at the odds of this match this is a draw as match went to penalties which mearnt this was a stalemate in 90 minutes and was really expecting this to be an easy win for senegal eithin the 90 minutes but anyway  Gabon was not convincing enough to fight for this.

Very sad to see that almost everyone favorite Nigeria is on the Verge of dropping out, when I saw the fixture of Nigeria facing Tunisia I knew they was going to be a problem for them, although the super eagles may have won Egypt in the first match, North African teams are always a problem when facing them, there is still little time in the game and I hope Nigeria can come up with something before the match ends.
